So in the past 10 days Ive had my first, second, and third trips to this LV location. And Im pretty sure Im addicted I cant help myself everything in here is so luxurious that I will take 2 of everything please! I got the Keepall 55 in the black monogram print with a few other things for my birthday but I now see that this place has its hooks in me. The wait was surprisingly short and all of the salespeople I worked with made sure I got everything I was looking for and were attentive solely to me the entire time I was there. Love this store cant wait until they finish the remodel.
I went in to exchange a purse and wallet I purchased online, what I ordered was a lot smaller than I wanted. Mike was very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.. I love the brand, Ill surely return for more merchandise.. Mike helped me get the prefect size purse and matching wallet that I needed. I left the store a happy girl. thanks😍🥰
I had the BEST experience at Louis Vuitton Somerset today. Linda was my SA and was absolutely FABULOUS and so helpful. She was so friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. I ended up buying a bag I had been wanting for months! I will definitely be back to this location. Thank you Linda for a wonderful shopping experience. :)

I’m giving this location a 5 star for one reason only….the SA named Bella was the best LV employee I’ve worked with by far at this location. The sweetest and most professional employee there! She managed to get me a very hard to get holiday mini pochette and kept in contact with me consistently. After a month she was finally able to get me one and I’m still in shock simply because this particular item is Sold Out everywhere. She didn’t give up and actually cared! That has been such a hard thing to find with ANY other employee at LV. I hope Bella gets promoted or at least a raise. I highly recommend going directly to her!!!!!!!
Lisa is the worse store manager ever. Very rude and doesn’t respect her customers. One of her associate was coming to let me in the store to make my return after waiting in line for an HOUR AND A HALF. She walked up to her associate and stopped her and told me and someone else behind me sorry were closed. So surprised to see Louis Vuitton actually hired such kind. At this point it’s a joke. I will not be coming back. If Lisa is still the store manager Louis Vuitton will be losing customers!
POOR QUALITY / HORRIBLE SERVICES!!!! Stay away from this brand!!!! I purchased my Neverfull purse in February, 2021 at the Somerset location after wearing my purse approximately 5 times it became wet, wilted and soft like something burnt it however never have I had it next to heat nor did I have anything in my purse that was liquid. I took my Purse back to the store and spoke to a young lady whom called in the repairs operations manager (Jonathan). He came over assessed my bag and said oh I never saw this before looks liked it’s damaged and we can’t fix it, he initially refused to send out my bag however I requested it sent out which he did, His tone was abrupt and dismissive which made it extremely offensive. After several weeks I received a call from Jonathan saying my purse is back in the store and the warehouse deemed it damaged and they cannot do anything for me. My sister also has this purse and have the same exact issue with her Neverfull purse at the bottom of her purse, how is that Possible ? The items are poor quality and they charge so much money and don’t care about us as consumers. Client services via the phone is horrible they don’t care either. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS BRAND YOU WILL REGRET IT! Poor management and the worse experience I have ever had with a retail store.

I waited in line for 45 mins and spent 3k on a bag in less than 5 mins.I knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in. Asked questions about the bag since there’s been quality issues on it in the past. The saleswomen seemed to have no answers. 4 mins of conversation for a purchase seems warranted yet there was no customer service.I opened it today to show my husband and the bag is 1/4 the size of the box with no additional padding inside. Why the big box? Where’s the padding? I continued to shop with a friend and that entire time the bag was flopping around. I’ve never ever seen that before after opening luxury handbags. The bag itself had no packaging keep it’s shape either.The staff outside managing the line was amazing! This review is for my saleswoman and her unthoughtful packaging.
Abysmal service. Arrived at the location at 7:30 with a close time of 8. The staff had already closed the line with no customers inside and 3 clients in the store. (See image). Several folks tried to get in once the store was empty at 7:40. If online is an option for your purchase, or a McDonalds, go with that as you’ll receive superior service.
I have taken some Louis Vuitton Luggage that was damaged that I owned to be fixed and not only did they repair it very well but they also repaired other parts of the bag that I was not aware needed to be fixed which was an overall really great customer service experience.That was absolutely 5 star service but when I have gone there on other occasions I have encountered extremely rude employees because they didn’t think I was a potential customer, in the end it was there loss!
I bought The Wizard of Oz friendship bracelet from here. Im happy with it. This bracelet has a very vibrant simplistic colorway and design. Customer service while ordering this was exceptional; the lady helping was very nice and informative. The only con I have is the bracelet; I do fear still wear quickly over time and come apart from the daily use of untying or tieing.
The sales people suck here. They think the bags are made of their skin. You are not allowed to touch bags. what kinda store is it. Why would you buy a bag without knowing or feeling the material. The service we got in Tiffany next door is incomparable. Infact we went and bought bags there. Never ever going back to this store again.

I wish I give no stars!!!! I received a purse as a birthday gift last week and upon taking the purse out the box I noticed that the strap was defective. I took my purse into the store for an exchange and was told that there are no more bags available in that style. I decided to go with the repair option and was told it would be ready the next day. Here it is 3 days later and I still have no bag. I spoke with someone in customer service and was told someone from the store would call me (hasnt happened), and I called the client advisors card number that I was given from the store and I havent heard anything!!!! I Purchased shoes there during my visit and because of the horrible service that I received I will be returning these TODAY!!! Think twice before you spend that kind of money with the TROY SOMERSET location. Will go to Saks or buy online from now on!!!!

I brought a bag in to return that I had ordered online via Louis Vuitton and the sales associate offered to mail the return in for me. 20 days later, I tried to track the return only to find that no such tracking number existed. When I called global customer service, they seemed puzzled as to what could have happened to the bag at the store. It took a full day for the store manager here to contact me to say that UPS had lost the package, even though there was no evidence that UPS ever picked the package up to begin with. And not even a hint of an apology, I don’t think I’ve ever received such poor customer service. I’m still waiting for my refund on a bag that I purchased in February. I am convinced that the sales associate stole and resold my bag. Do not bring your bags here to return or to be shipped out. Never again!

The shelves are practically bare!! I was told no store credit by one sales associate so I picked out something I didnt really want. I decided to exchange today and was told I could have had store credit but now its past the 30 days from the original purchase I can only do an exchange, but was told I should have done a store credit the firsr time. So basically I am stuck with $3900 purse I didnt really want. Yes I understand we are in a pandemic but you should adjust your policies around the face that your shelves are bare and sales associates giving miss information!!

This Louis Vuitton is the absolute worst. I cannot believe how horrible their service and quality are. My wife purchased a $700 scarf from them. They took it in the back to box it up and package it. When she got home, she noticed the tag to be loose and a snag in the scarf. She immediately messaged the sales associate who advised her to bring it back. When she returned, the store manager and sales associate REFUSED to return or even exchange the scarf!!! I’ve never been more upset with a store in my life. They caused damage to the goods and then blatantly refused to do anything about it.Thank God for American Express stepping in and disputing the transaction. This type of service is so bad and should never be expected from a “high end” retailer. Their service is horrible and they are selling sub par goods. We’ve purchased so many items from LV, but we will NEVER return to this location. Beware, they lack quality and service and will hold you hostage.
Took my wife to LV to celebrate her beating a serious illness. Gloria the sales associate was fabulous and made the retail experience fun.Its very well organized, so much so it felt rushed. Given the price points here I would have liked some quiet time to browse and explore before dropping $1,500 on a handbag.But given the ridiculous social distancing requirements we get the why.
I wanted to share this experience because people only post negatives. I will say I was a bit skeptical going to the Somerset Louis Vuitton store.After reading reviews, hearsay and a recent incident at Sak’s my mind was already made before walking in. So, when I walked in I did peek in at first and the security guard said “come in we don’t bite” ha ha! After looking around for maybe two minutes I was approached by Lisa. She was exceedingly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. She understood my questions and reservations. She answered all of them, which made me feel better making my first Louis Vuitton purchase. I really had a good time in the store. We talked about future purchases and This is Us, she’s a fan!!I guess it’s hit or miss with good customer service. I will say Lisa took very good care of me.

My husband purchased a neverfull handbag on nov. 29, 2017 for my xmas gift. I did not start using the purse til after xmas. I use the purse not even 5 times and start to notice a peeling by the leather trim. I called the store where I bough the bag in LV somerset troy mi. The staff told me to bring the purse in the store so they can take a look if it needs replacement or a repair. The staff in the store took pictures of the purse and said he will send it to their quality department. So he give me the purse back and told me he will call me back.I waited for that day he said to call. But I did not get a hold back from him, so I decided to call the next day. Another staff answer me and said the quality department decided that they can’t do anything about it and that my ourse is not cover for a repair and if i wanted it repair I have to pay.So here’s my thing why would I pay another money when I already pay a lot for that purse and expected to be a good quality. I better off buying a purse from an outlet store that will last me for years even if I use them every day. It is so sad that they will not do anything to replace your damage product. Will never buy this brand again. Leather is not suppose to peel.
I had dropped off a handbag for repair in November 2019. Nobody will answer the phone or return my messages. Customer care service is no help either. Where could the handbag be. I did purchase a handbag a couple months ago. Louis Vuitton accepted my money and I received my hand bag in record time. However after this experience I will not be purchasing anything again.
Good luck trying to get a box for your purse if you are Black. I saw a Black woman get denied a box for her purchase meanwhile two white women came in and paid for their items and received a box!

I always have an excellent experience whenever I visit! The SAs are helpful, friendly and patient. The store is always pristine. This is basically my idea of heaven... they even bring you champagne and San Pellegrino while you try on the bags. Just fabulous!

The manager was very rude and she refused to cooperate and exchange a unworn/new item claiming that its worn and washed and has a wear signs and can not exchange it for me. She said to contact the customer service if i want to complain. Very bad service!! What a shame. Not worth spending money there!!
I love this store! Great selection on purses, and accessories. Every time I go here the SA are very helpful, attentive and patient! They are not pushy and gives great and honest advice when I’m undecided on which item to get. This is my favorite Louis Vuitton store!

I was on my way to LV to Splurge and decided to read the reviews first. What I read was astounding. It only confirmed the feelings I felt the last time I made a purchase there. The cloth bag that holds the purse when Im not carrying it reveled in the seams within a couple of months. I took it back for a new one and they gave me HELL. However they did replace it with a new one. I guess Ill go over to Saks for this purchase because they have the same purses. I hope they have Better service.😤
My handbag is cracking at the seams and this fantastic “after sales” consultant was so personable, helpful and thoughtful that I walked away feeing so positive. I’m not sure my bag issue will get resolved yet, but the guy couldn’t have been more helpful.
My wife purchased a white purse from there for 1600 dollars. Never used it, she decided she would rather have the brown one after a few days of thinking. I went back to exchange it, they told me I have 30 days to exchange or return. They tried charging me 74 more dollars saying the price of the purse went up. That’s stealing. I asked to speak to a manger it took me 15 of complaining for them to understand. Also may I add they are very judge mental. Didn’t take me serious as a buyer because of my clothes. I’m no officer of the court or anything but this is against the law.

Went in today to pick up a gift for my brother. I was welcomed warmly by security. Travis then assisted in helping me get what I need. Travis was beyond helpful and very knowledgeable. When I came back to pick up my items after they were hot stamped, I was helped by another guy with earring I didnt catch is name but he was also very friendly and helpful. Great service.

Not sure of her name but the blond woman(and a few others) are the rudest sales staff ever. Tried to return a gift my wife bought me. Brought the receipt and gift. Apparently their policy is you have to have the original form of payment with you (as in a CC) otherwise only a store credit. I asked where on the receipt does it say that? Their answer “it doesn’t”??? I said “how am i supposed to know then” and “what if my 80 year old aunt bought me this... am i supposed to go pick her up with her CC and Bring her in for literally a 30 second transaction. Surely you can understand where I’m coming from?” her answer “actually sir I DON’T!”. I said if this was Saks or NM i could walk in and have it returned to the CC. Her answer “well I’ve worked in retail for years and i know neither of those 2 stores have it (physically needing the original form of payment on hand) marked on their receipts either”. I said “of course they don’t cause they don’t require it... YOU DO... You need to make that clear to the customer”. After i hunted down my wife who thankfully was at somerset on the other side and brought back the CC... She had the nerve to tell me “well you know we only require a photocopy or a picture text with the CC numbers on it... we try and make it easy on our customers” in a total smarta$$ voice. I said “not one of you told me that 20 minutes ago... what if i had driven 30 minutes back home to get it when all i needed was for her to text me a pic”. “Well sir i just want to get this transaction done”. Unreal!!! I’ve spent 10s of thousands in that store!!! No more!!! Poor service and just plain disrespectful!!!!
I called client services to inquire about a pair of sneakers that I intended to purchase as a gift. I went to pick them up at the store only to find out that they were defective . I ordered another pair and they arrived 3 days later. I went to pick them up and guess what? They were defective as well. Ill be returning with no intention of repurchase. The client services team did nothing to right their wrong. A quality review of all products should occur. These goods cost too much for results like this. LV should also do something to right their repeated failures.

Absolute worst customer service of any Louis Vuitton store I’ve ever been to. And due to Covid they’re only taking appointments, so I have called over THIRTY times in the last few days attempting to schedule one and they ignore my call every single time. I am over it!!
Went in there to return an item I bought online. I read over the terms of returning items, which supposedly requires you to only bring your invoice. I am then told I must have my payment method, which I didnt bring, and said since I didnt have that, they can only issue me a store credit. The man who helped me had an indifferent attitude and made me loiter for a good 5 minutes without explanation. LV needs to make clear their return policy and treat their customers a bit better. I did not plan on driving 100 miles to not get what I wanted. The only perk was the wonderful lady who greeted me at the entrance.
Well my wife got in my pocket again 😫 this place is expensive but it makes her happy, the service is VIP and the sales reps are very helpful and knowledgeable.... money well spent !
Purchased a bag exactly 20 days ago. Showing water stains now and when called the 800 number they said to take it back to the store as that should not be happening. Staff was rude and very impolite, while talking to them - and not being rude myself- their answers were “let me finish first” as if I was interrupting with crazy demands, was only trying to get answers. No help or whatsoever. Ended ordering a new handle and paid for it since the purse looked horrible with the water stain. DO NOT BUY HERE, horrible customer service!
I think this place is nothing compare to other LV boutiques i have visited in other countries and state! First thing the service is mediocre, but I think there’s a reason for that! The staff has very limited inventory, or have any access to anything requested that’s not in the store! Now that being said My SA here is good, but she also isn’t there 60-70% of the time! I am kind of surprised about that, every time I need something I have to wait for the response. There’s no Fine Jewelry, no range of glasses, no knowledge of items LV offers, that’s what makes this place look very poor on LV sad wish there was another boutique in MI

If I could rate their store 0 stars I would. I received the worst service I can ever think of. I walked in 2 times in one day and was greeted 0 times. I guess they thought it wasnt necessary to help me because I had to ask to be helped NUMEROUS times, even though every single person got GREETED and HELPED promptly but me. I purchased the boots and came home to realize that they are scratched badly. SO upset they sold me a damaged product, I went back only to receive poor customer service.I approached the young man explaining my situation, (nobody greeted me AGAIN), just said I have to inspect them in the back, he grabbed my bag and left. Came out saying he cannot return them for me because the guy who sold them to me was off until Friday and cannot prove that I did not do this to my boots so wanted me to wait until Friday, mind you they inspected and seen that they were not worn and even told me they knew they were not worn. I was furious as I did not damage them and had purchased them less than 24 hours ago. Why would I scratch them to return if I can just regularly return them within 14 days?! I asked him to text the young man and he said he could not do that.After demanding they return them, he goes to the back to speak with his manager, coming out and saying she made a one time exception to return them. She did not even come talk to me about this inconvenience especially after knowing I didnt even wear them. I tried to thank her for letting me return them but she would not even acknowledge me or look my way and she was standing RIGHT next to him, not even bothered to look my way in such a way that it was obvious she did not want to speak with me.I tried reordering them in store but he gave me such a hard time saying things such as, Um, you know they might arrive later than you want. I said thats fine, he kept pushing it off with such an annoying tone making it obvious he just wanted me out. I asked kindly if I can just cancel it, without hesitation he just gave me something to sign and I left.Not being greeted or helped 3 times, 2 days in a row... Discrimination much?I would never recommend anyone shop here because they have poor customer service and make you feel unwanted. A manager should apologize for inconvenience if their associate didnt know what they were doing, that is the least service I expect at such a high end store.

Both my girls have a Louie and matching wallets, and I have always had my eye on one, but never could justify, always putting others before me. Finally at a point in my life, I truly can buy one without feeling guilty.Earlier I had visited the actual stand alone Louie Vuitton store in mall, after spending about an hour there, I felt the sale representative, Lori Lassner, was rushing me to make a purchase, so she could move onto the next customer, to make a commission.She did show me many purses, but throughout she made the comment most customers do their research online before hand....YES I did do my research beforehand, but the internet does not really show the true beauty of these purses.It was a Saturday, arrived around 10:15am, shortly after they opened and she kept making the comment, we are getting busy, etc... I actually felt like she was beginning to stereotype me, thinking I was never going to buy .It then clicked that I did not need to be rushed into this purchase, for her to just make a sale and me not be truly satisfied with my BIG purchase. Needless to say, I had to walk away to think about it.So I went next door to the Saks Louie to just see what they had, (smaller version of the actual store) and so glad i did!Immediately, the sales associate Raquel was so patient and truly listened to me and patiently took the time to share her expertise on the purses.She never once made me feel rushed and shared her thoughts and ideas. She was awesome to work with and I made my BIG purchase. (Purse & matching wallet)My daughter and I will be making an appointment with her after the busy holiday rush, to have our wallets monogrammed!If you want someone who is patient, kind and truly listens to your wants, without worrying about what her commission will be, visit Raquel at the Saks Louie. She will not disappoint.Dont waste your time in the stand alone store....go next door and visit the Saks Louie Vuitton......much more personable!

If I could give them zero stars, I would! Their return policy is ridiculous and they dont stand behind the quality of their bags. I was 10 days out of their return policy and noticed that my bag I bought was starting to peel on the leather handles, tarnish on the lock, and the bag sags really badly. NOT WORTH $1500!!! I called and the store was supposed to call me back within 24-48 hours, which never happened. Had to call them back a week later and talked to Leah, the customer rep in the store, only to be denied any refund for their poorly made bag. She had the attitude that she did not care, wasnt her bag. Ill think twice about buying anything from this store again. BUYER BEWARE!
Went in to see if one of my Louie purses from home was the real deal. Went inside and looked for a bit and after a few minutes a blonde gentleman asked if I needed help. I mentioned my purse to him and he promptly took it to the back to verify it. Unfortunately it was not authentic, but he did let me know about a near by shoe repair place that could fix up the damage for me. He was very patient with me and despite the bad news, I was still satisfied with my visit! Thank you!
Their return policy is deceptive. (Some of sale associates, like Patrick are polite.) I had a lady her name was Gloria and she was tremendously rude. She had an indifferent face and a despising look when I tried to ask her if I could return one of the three bags I bought. The manager and Gloria took my bag to the back and came out insist that I used the bag: there was a wear sign on the handle. I only left the bag in my closet and have never had used it. I tried it on a couple of times at home. Their statement is ridiculous to me. Dont spend your money there.

Amazing experience,My first time ever visiting the Louis Vittuoin of somerset,as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly sales man of Asian ethnicity,he was very friendly,informative,and hard working,and also made sure I had the right size for the belt that I was buying,he was by far the hardest worker in the store! Very friendly man,the quality of my product is to unreal as well, so amazing,amazing amazing experience!!
Purchased a bag, upon going home noticing a small scratch on the bag, went back in the store.Denied me.These bags are on display for everyone to touch and see. Horrible service that they throw that on the customer.The manager, nothing short of horrible. Never going back again.

This is the high dollar store, very interesting apparel for the fashion world.
I went to the Louis Vuitton in the Saks Store and the SA there that helped me was absolutely terrible. You go in these stores with money to spend and they way they treat you makes you want to walk right out. There are so many people that have no idea how much money you have and they treat some people NOT all very mean and nasty. If I remembered her name I would post it but I actually forgot her name. It sucks living in Michigan with only two Louis Vuitton stores because I am sure they treat people so much better out of state. I will never shop at the Saks store again. I love love Louis Vuitton but the customer service can be better. This lady pre-judged me and had no idea that I probably had more money in my bank account that all of her whole family put together but she lost that sell. Never Again! However the actually LV store in the Somerset Mall is way better.
I love the bags here, and really love their new selections! Can someone tell them that they might need to get about 5 more pink purses in because Im gonna get as many as I can for my bridesmaids.
Always am greeted kindly and the sales associates go the extra mile. They remember details about me in between visits and I hardly walk out of there empty-handed (I need to stay away to save $$!!). Will definitely continue to do business with them at this location in particular!
Well most times when I go nobody says anything to me. I always get someone who realize Im not window shopping.
