This is a great place to get your oil changed. They are fast, knowledgeable and nice. They will alert you if you have other things going on with your car, but they arent trying to sell you on stuff you dont need. I really appreciate the work they do.

I was super impressed with this Castrol facility (as I always am -- this is about my 4th visit to this particular facility in Tucker over the past couple of years after I first discovered it near my house). I was rushing to get there from work before the facility closed at 6 p.m. I rolled in at 5:50, and was warmly greeted. I was afraid that Id be too late, but the opposite happened: the staff on hand could not have been more friendly and accommodating and they stayed a good 15-20 minutes past closing time to get my car done, including extras I requested like wiper blades, air filter, and coolant. They were fantastic! Very happy with the service at this particular location. The crew of employees at the Tucker location represents the company very well.

Everyone did a good job communicating with me, letting me know theyd get me in soon, and what they had done once they worked on my truck. (A short lady was especially good at communicating; sorry--I dont remember her name! :-) They took care of the issues that I asked them to--putting more air in all my tires. Also, they didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt want. Bathroom was clean and there was soap and paper to wash and dry my hands. All in all a nice experience. Good job

Upgraded from a 2014 Dodge Avenger which took regular oil to a 2019 Nissan Sentra Sr which takes full synthetic and Castrol treated me like family explaining everything to me and making sure that I knew what I was getting in for and why. I greatly appreciate the time they took to let me know what was going on and what my new card needed they are the best I will no longer go to Goodyear or Jiffy Lube but only Castro thanks guys!

Recently, I had an emission test with my Honda CR-V in Castrol Premium Lube, Tucker, GA, which is only about 1 mile away from my home. Luckily, there was one car in the test station when I arrived there and so, I waited only for a few minutes to get into the station for the test. The technician drove my car into the station and performed his task, which lasted another few minutes. The whole process took about 30 minutes, including my waiting time prior to the actual evaluation work. After the test was completed and bill, paid, I walked to my car and found that the result report was placed on my drive seat. We did not have much talk. The technician performed his duty quietly and professionally. The charge was reasonable. I gave a five star for the task performed later when I received request for evaluation.

This place is not a place I would ever go back to. I went there a total of three times and out of the three, two of them were very memorable and a very negative way. The first time I went to get my oil changed after they changed my oil they told me that they could not reset the oil change Service light so I had to go somewhere else and pay someone else to do that. The second time I went there they broke my oil filter holder and threw away the engine cover. Of course I asked them to replace the filter holder and after three months and multiple phone calls they told me the part was in and then I should come back so they can put it on the car. I went there thinking I might as well get an oil change after the oil change I left the shop and not even 5 miles down the road my car was spewing oil from the bottom and the engine was making a very loud knocking noise. After calling the shop multiple times and not getting through I called the district manager and I was instructed to take the car to another shop that was located in Woodstock. Long story short I was told that a part failed due to normal wear and tear and that it wasn’t their fault but they would be OK to pay for the part and the repair but not the $550 rental car fee that I incurred because they told me to rent one and they would pay for it. I said go down the street and get it done right because you’re gonna end up going there anyways.

Recommended the best service for my vehicle and educated me on why it was best for my car. Wait time was minimal which was great because I was on my lunch break. I went to Castrol this morning in urgent need of an oil change. Not only did Tony and (guy with dreads) recommend the best oil for my van, but also did it in 15 minutes. Stopped here for the first time, on a Sunday, to get a quick oil change. Upon interaction with Mark, I explained that I only wanted a basic oil change for my vehicle which is used as a second car. I got exactly what I asked for, for the price advertised. No up selling or pressure to do anything other than what I came for. Mark and the other staff were professional and pleasant. My Ford Mustang always performs better after a quality oil change and it was definitely riding better after leaving this shop. I’ve found my new place for oil changes.

This place is my go to for oil changes. Usually Im happy with the service and price.Unfortunately this time even though I asked for the basic $20 oil change, they did a $50 high mileage change. Which my car didnt need.They offered me $10 off but that still means I paid double what I should have.

I was due for an oil change and got sour on the previous service location I had been going to for years. I searched oil change near me and received a number of location, however most of their recent reviews were less than desirable, for my comfort level. I arrived at the right time, because I was able to park at the bay and Terrance and the crew took care of my car in 15-20 minutes!!! The price was favorable, they reset my oil gauge and didnt make mention of any other services I may have needed. I was very satisfied with my experience and rode off into the sunlight!12/4/2018 - Lightening didn’t strike for a 3rd time. Unfortunately, this was when we took my wife’s vehicle. I assume that this establishment is under new ownership/management, because it became less about what we came in for, an oil change, and more about the up sale. The cost of the oil change had gone up approximately 30%. You are give this 2-4 page print out of what potential could be wrong with your vehicle, based on your current mileage. On a positive, the oil change remained 15-20 minutes. I’ve had to update my review and overall rating.

I exclusive used Castro oil in my vehicle for years so Im glad to have this quick stop. The guys there do a great job and have got both my cars in and out quickly multiple times when Ive needed it. Not located on the easiest piece of property to get to if youre headed east bound on Lavista.

So i visited store 7 in Tucker, and Tony Butler serviced my vehicle. Tony was very polite and professional. He also gave me a list of anything else that i needed to check on, and tips while I’m on the road. The prices are a bit expensive, but i have been going to Castrol ever since I got my car. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I will be coming back.

My car was running over heat and I had my kids with me All I Ask for was some antifreeze and I was told it’ only comes with oil change Manager was so rude they definitely need a new Manager there .

They are nice and helpful but not reliable. Suppose to open at 8 but they werent open when arriving at 8:18. Waited until 8:30, left after. Had to come back around noon. Given they are right by my office I didnt go elsewhere, otherwise I would have. If you plan to visit I would recommend coming around an HR or two past posted opening hours to ensure staff is there. I notice that other reviews also commented on availability, this seems to be an issue vs one time occurance.02-2019: update:Came in this morning to get a oil change. Got my car towed here on a Sunday earlier this year since my regular mechanic was not open. The guys worked non-stop on my car and kept me updated during the process. My car has been driving smoothly since then. Overall, they have great service and an incredibly knowledgeable staff. I definitely recommend this location!

I pull up and requested an oil change. Was asked if I had been there before. I said yes but I had a different car. Guy immediately tells me that car requires synthetic oil and the cost is $59. My is car is less than a year old. And my spouse has the exact same car and has never been told this . My car has less than 40,000 miles on it. This guy thought that because I was I woman that I would fall for the BS. I replied I wasnt told that when I bought the car . His response was Of course they wouldnt tell you because they want the money. My response I could say the same about you. His response I get paid by the hour. Me : Yeah but you get a commission when you upsell too and I wont be paying $60 for a basic oil change. I feel like this was not a good way to deal with a returning customer of 4 years.He acted as if I had no other option which I know is not the case. Will be going to the dealership for future oil changes. Will not be returning!! 😠

The service was great, the wait time was good. they did a wonderful job and the customer service was excellent. I told them that I will be coming back I have more cars that need oil changes thank you Eric, Andrew, Reggie and Richard at the Tucker store.

They open at 8am but when I go to get an emissions test done at 9am they state their system isnt up yet and to try back in a few hours. If you are too lazy to turn the machine on when you open at 8am there is no guarantee any of the 4 workers sitting around will have turned it on by then so I took my business elsewhere. I do not know if this is a corporate location or franchise but I would seriously consider restaffing the entire store

I went in on a Tuesday at about 10:30am. They got me in and out in 20-30 minutes and it was $20 for the basic oil change. It was what I needed. Good place north of downtown to change your oil.
