Average Kroger. Theyre is a much newer and cleaner one a couple of miles down the road on Chamblee Tucker Rd. Food selection is 100 times better
Like most places, surrounding Atlanta, this store is also “ghetto”. The employees are unprofessional and loud. Also, they have no clue of the ADA law, pertaining to service animals. Instead of asking politely about your service dog, they will scream form the other side of the store to tell you that you can’t bring your dog in the store. They will also follow you around for an hour, then ask you about your dog. They always have an attitude and talk/treat you like you are the reason that they are having a bad day. The produce is horrible. Gnats, flies, and other bugs cover the produce and it looks as though its gone bad. It is just completely appalling.
I called the seafood dept. at 7:05pm to check if they had crab legs and get the price per Ibs. The guy gave me the price said they were closed and hung up on me. I called back asked for the supervisor or manager again they hung up on me. I will not tolerate bad customer service I will take my hard earn money and business to Publix or Walmart.
Old white lady that works at night keeps locking the doors before closing time. If the store closes at 11:00pm and it’s 10:45 or 10:50 I should still have access!
I normally wouldn’t bother with this since I normally have a good experience here, but with the new Kroger built, i’ll drive there rather than deal with a bit of attitude because I assumed something based off of the price and sign it was in front of rather than a small sticker that could easily not be seen depending on what side is turned up to view.It just rubbed me the wrong way that apparently both organic and regular sweet potatoes are in the same bin but on has one sign that says “Sweet potatoes $1.29”Saw sign, grabbed 3 potatoes. Then goes to bypass the organic asparagus for the regular (because they are clearly separated), grabs a few more items and goes to self checkout. I type in sweet potatoes as my last item, weigh them and proceed move them to the bag to hear a random beep that confused me and assumed it was from the young lady next to me who was being helped by the assistant. When the next step on the card reader read “continue checking out” I was confused. It had “sweet potatoes” highlighted, but no where did it say organic.Called for the attendant and when she beeped her store card “organic sweet potatoes” popped up out of nowhere and baffled me.She proceeded to tell me it scanned a sticker—that I wasn’t even aware of— and that all organic things have stickers in the store and asked if I wanted to pay the $1.99 or go get the “correct” ones. I was completely fine with that and said “no it’s okay. That’s fine.”To which she explained the small sticker that wasn’t completely apparent again to which I said “I understand, they were just in the bin that only had one sign that said—“And was abruptly interrupted and told “it doesn’t matter where they are. You need to look for the sticker. Now I’m homing to just ASSUME you really didn’t know and ring you up for the cheaper one. But next time, you need to look for a sticker.”Clearly all other organic stuff is separated and I didn’t intend to grab it. It was literally two signs. One for a 4 pack of baked for $3.49 and the only other was for the loose ones at $1.29.I was just trying to explain that someone else would get confused by the same thing to be talked to like a child and over talked again “YOU need to pay attention. People put things in random places all the time. Look for the sticker. Only organic things have a sticker.”It might seem small, but it also made it seem like I was intentionally trying to get over on people when things are all jumbled up in one spot for things with two separate prices and how it could cause issues with other customers.I’ll be avoiding this particular attendant at all costs.
The worst customer service experience Ive ever experienced! I was directed to two different Krogers, while attempting to purchase/return a Homestead bottle. The Floor Supervisor refused to assist and the attendant was sarcastic.
I visited this location this morning and there was an entire family (1 adult 3 children over age 2) shopping without masks. There are signs everywhere and as of this moment all Kroger stores are requiring masks. When I came in there was someone standing in the breezeway and I thought their purpose was to ensure everyone was wearing masks and sanitize they buggies. I will not shop at this store again during this pandemic. Many of the employees had their entire noses out of their masks. One employee fully pulled his mask down to answer my question even though I could hear him just fine and hadn’t asked him to repeat himself. They don’t seem to understand the importance of masks.
We often shop at kroger but this location we were not happy with. Many employees had their mask pulled down and many customers Did not have a mask on at all. In self check out we had a problem with our register. The employee came over to fix the problem With her mask pulled down and asked us to step away from her while she fixed the machine. If she is going to do this she should ask everyone to step away from her while she fixes the problem not just certain people. We were wearing a mask but noticed she didnt mind other people walking up to her who didnt have a mask on to dispute a purchase. That behaviour is really rude. We will not come back to this location.
10/5/20..The money services clerk was helping someone and it was taking a long time. I notified the manager and he said he would look into it 20 min later Im still waiting and I guessed he called the employee and asked about delay bc I heard her saying to customer someone called and complained. So manager did not send anyone to come and help her or better yet come and help out yourself...sorry teamwork and service..Do better or hire more help..
Clean store. Good choices ok staff.
Newly build Kroger is huge. Expanded isles and isles of grocery, Kroger gas station out front. Super convenient location just off highway.
This store is great! Hanan was an amazing help at the self checkout and the customer service is top notch.
Literally get there at 11:46 to get a bag of chips when they close at 12am, and the guard tells me theyre closed. I know for sure thats not a thing, and i tell him som he brushed me off like Im in the wrong for even saying anything...
One of my most favorite Krogers to attend, friendly help always from Mrs. Nicole in produce, Justin at the check out self service line, or simply getting items from daily necessities. Its always a pleasure to shop here! With walking distance from Maes Methods very convenient.
(Lisa) the store manager she is the absolute worse Kroger store manager I have ever come in contact with. Kroger Corporate please note that Tucker is a very established neighborhood and we deserve the absolute best ... certainly not the absolute worste.
This location could definitely use a little face lift. Walking in always makes me feel a little depressed on the inside. Definitely not as bright and welcoming as the Publix in the same area. Usually has what we need in stock, but we really only shop here because its the closest location.
I live only two blocks away from this Kroger but rarely shop there. Its long over due for a face lift which is to say it is a very depressing place, especially the deli and the people that work there. You can tell by the way they perform their duties that they no long take pride in what they do or where they work.Heres an update: I talked to one of the clerks at this store yesterday and asked her when this store was going to be renovated, and she said that next year it was scheduled for an overall face lift.
Do yourself a favor and go to another Kroger if you need a lot of groceries This store used to be pretty good, but things have been getting worse there. The last thing anyone wants to do is take a huge cart full of items through self check out. They need to hire more cashiers! Especially ones you dont have bad attitudes..
Great selection on seafood but no one is around to take your request, asked staff for help and had a page over head still no help after 15. Sad
I have never been so disrespected in my whole life until I came to this store. My wife and I (along with my service dog) were getting close to finishing our shopping and this manager pops up. She tries to tell me that I can not have my dog in the store. I pointed down to my service dogs vest/ID badge. She finally took the time to read the big patches and etc. Then she realized how silly she was being then said that she was sorry and walked. We finally make it the checkout line. I heard two loud barks. I looked down to check my service dog. She was staring and so I looked in the direction she was focused on. I see a big black lab barking and trying to get at her in line. So, I walked her out of line to calm her down. Im trying to calm her down and a female security guard comes up to me with an attitude. She was getting all in my face and trying to put her hands on me. She was in my face yelling that I could not have my dog in the store and that I need to get out. No one but my wife was trying to help. I told the security guard that it was a service dog. She didnt care and rushed me out the store. I couldnt help my wife with the groceries. I will not spend another dime at this location. They are very disrespectful to disabled veterans.
The next time you go to this location and thay dont have a bagger. DO NOT BAG YOUR ITEMS. Ive been shoping here for 15 year and never have I gotten a more BS answer from a manager well then you shouldnt have bagged your items..are you kidding hire people and I wont have to.!!!!!!!!!!
Cashiers are always friendly and other departments employees are helpful especially the meat and deli department. Store manager very helpful also. Love shopping here instead of the Kroger in my are of Lithonia...way better service!!!
Terrible experience. The didn’t answer the phone for curb side pickup. Had to go in the store and wait 10 minutes for someone to respond. They also didn’t have anything I ordered and had to cancel the whole thing. Truly terrible.
I went to see Captain Marvel!! The movie was good...the theater was clean. The customer service was good as well. The popcorn was fresh.....but the seating was a not as comfortable as I would have liked, you cant recline the seats. Ive been spoiled by stadium seating with recliners at other theaters.
This is the smallest Kroger Ive ever shopped at. They hardly have anything. I had to drive to another Kroger to finish my shopping. And theres hardly any room to get around in this store. Unless you need bread or milk, dont do your full grocery shopping here!
This is a very customer friendly Kroger. I live in Stone Mountain, but I will ride my bike over here to check out their Manager Specials section in the back. I also love being able to consistently find Manager Specials in their produce department. This store tends to not be as crowded as the other Krogers in North Decatur and the Krogers in Tucker by Lawrenceville Highway. I will come to this Kroger whenever I ride my bike to the nearby Aldis. Its a great area with plenty of shopping and places to eat.
On Saturday my husband & I went to the pharmacy found our flu shots. We turned in the paperwork a few days earlier in the week so we didnt have to wait at all. She asked us the questions and then we got our shots. We had to dit down so she could make sure we didnt have a reaction(which didnt happen) she asked us if we were all right and then we left. It took maybe for both of us was 15 minutes and we were walking out.
I love Kroger stores period. I shop at this one often, and yes even though its small in size and variety like, its still a good store. Could be better if they hired more workers, especially for checkout.
▪The Prices Are Generally Higher Than Krogers▪ The Sandwich Spot is open earlier than Krogers and you have more choices▪ Next to the Sandwich Spot is the pastry station where you get a wide array of cakes and treats▪Theres a food sample station where they cook fresh foods with the ingredients all available in the store (Krogers Doesnt Have A Station Like That)Krogers had its shortcoming like not having enough baggers or cashiers for check-out stations this is a good alternative
So I have to give it up to Kroger. Did grocery pick-up for the first time on Tuesday. When I got home, I realized that two sugar free items were substituted with items containing sugar. Then, this morning I was packing my lunch and when I pulled out a bottle of Sprite Zero, but it was covered in mud and had clearly lost carbonation because it was shrunk. At this point, Im kind of frustrated because this is now three items Ive had an issue with. So I called the manager this morning, spoke with Michael and he made it right. He told me to come in after work and he would give me replacements for all the items. He not only replaced the sprites with a six-pack he gave me an additional six pack of sprites. Kudos!👏
Todays experience: Still the same poor customer service with this place. I arrive to drop off a prescription at the Pharmacy for a patient. The Kroger rep verifies that the address is correct. Then ask me when would I like to pick it up? I answer as soon as possible. The Kroger Rep then says well I just opened and have not turned my computers on yet. So I say: well I need them as soon as possible as she has surgery this morning. This place really needs to do better. Poor customer at its finest. A rebuttal of I just opened and have not turned my computers on yet was not needed. It just shows that she didnt want to get her day started with work. Mind you the hours for the pharmacy are:10 Months Ago: Here as of lately this Kroger store has been offering very poor customer service. Two registers open in the entire store during a very busy lunch time. I asked the pharmacy personnel if she could allow me to check out there. She nods her head yes. Then comes to the counter to see that I have 12, 1 gallon distilled water jugs and then says no she cant check me out. How easy would it have been to scan 1 gallon of distilled water and count that I had 12 total and add in 12 total. So I drove over to Publix where I was given much better customer service.
I accidentally leave groceries. they will chase you down with them. Always courteous and consistently so. Store manager Mike has got it figured out. Hes personality Plus
I have been shopping here for about 3 years now . I dont think the store has much of a variety so I have to shop between 2 -3 stores to get the quality and the items that I need. Sometimes the fruit goes bad really fast like the strawberries molded within 2 days of purchase. The prices here are sometimes comparable to other stores. I do like shopping with coupons but sometimes the system has made me pay a few cents on a coupon. Also I oftentimes load coupons into the kroger app but the discount does not come off when I come to the register. Overall the employees are nice and the store is usually stocked and clean.
If you are disabled and in need of help? Good luck. Only on guy I can count on. If Darl is not there. I am on my own
This is definitely an older location from the looks, but just stopped by for a few items since I was in the area. Cashier was friendly and scanned her Kroger discount card when I mentioned I forgot mine so I could get the discount which was nice.
Reasonable prices. Love the rotisserie chicken from bakery deli. Generally nice people working there and shopping there. Convenient location.
Need more registers open during time of need
Fàrcens colorful character
My sweet neighbor has advanced arthritis. When she had difficulty unloading her cart two employees stood, with arms crossed, and refused to help her telling her she should have had someone come with her for assistance. On top of that her other neighbor went to the store to complain about her treatment and was told that she should bring a helper. What is going on up there? Where is management? My green money will be spent at another store in future.
It may be on the smaller side when compared to their super, supermarkets, but I find more brand name products here without having to pay a premium price. The larger stores have converted to mostly Kroger-generic brands to advertise lower cost, but in my opinion, they sacrifice quality and you get what you pay for. There are brand-name products I demand, even if I have to go to Costco, Publix or a smaller Kroger like this one.
This store is pretty good. They have average customer service here. Theyre open 6am - 1am, so thats a huge plus! Convenience is a great thing!
Thanks Cassandra for checking in the the back for the UGA ornaments. Also Great Customer Service.
Manager admits that when it comes to stealing they target people who look at certain way. I guess if I look a certain it’s brown. Smh ! They need new management.
Normally dont have an issue, but today I was very disappointed the lack of customer service, I stood at the service desk for approx fifteen minutes while the cashiers close to the desk (they had no customers) did all they could to keep from making eye contact with me so that I could not get their attention to ask a question, but worse two Black men, well dressed with a tie stood at the self checkout end of the store looking at how long I had been standing there waiting and never came to acknowledge or give explaination as to the missing service desk staff(I am sure that both men were management for Kroger.. ) now I can see why the cashiers were full of subterfuge... Because they follow the lead of the management staff.
This is one of my favorite Krogers. Employees are always friendly and I always find some good deals!
Good place to shop in tucker. There greens have always been fresh in my experiences
I love this Kroger not the biggest but everyone is super friendly and helpful whether you come in at the crack of dawn or before close.
Always clean and well stocked. I can get in and out quickly all the time.
Its fine, but have to bag my own groceries 1/2 the time
Good place to shop! Wide variety of food. Friendly!! Flowers, pharmacy and gift items!
Kroger is cheap & affordable. Besides being a good place to shop, the groceries there also give you free gas for your car.
This is a older store, however its very neat and clean. The meat and produce is fresh.
Its a smaller store than the Publix across the street but the prices are better and the parking lot is so much easier to get in and out. Great staff and great local atmosphere.
2 good bags from Kroger brand popcorn never again.
Excellent Store I have been going there for years, also as a Kroger Points Member I get great coupons all the time, Thanks Lucia,
Always find what Im looking for, I like to visit in the mornings when is less crowded, their service is great and sales/clearances are everywhere I repeat every corner of the store
Basic grocery. No bells or whistles. If you need a loaf of bread and some eggs, you will find it here.
Fresh produce and meat. Its very clean. Ive never had an issue with this location.
Fast and friendly service! Nice people, also😊.
Very hit or miss store. Good for every day things but not great selection of finer things. 6/10 if you got money to spare go to publix.
Love this Kroger, except theres like never any cashiers working!
Smells like rotten fish even outside the front door. Shelves are a mess, and so cluttered. Produce area looks nice, but entire store looks dirty and not well cared for.
I love this Kroger! It has the best manager ever. Thanks Mike for all you do!!!!
I usually shop at a different location, that has been remodeled and has wider aisles...which makes shopping easier for me
This store is smaller than a lot of Kroger stores, so the selection is sometimes limited, but for my weekly needs it is great, and everyone in the store is friendly and helpful has been my experience.
My father bought two gift cards and one of them was tampered with and the money was posted to a fake barcode. Not that I expected anything from customer NO service but they were very rude and the manager, Erika, didnt come and speak to us until the cops got there to take a report of fraud. The location speaks for itself. She actually asked, well, why did you wait so long to report this? Its only been 3 days since I got it. Very unprofessional. Dont shop here, they are very rude.
Its convenient but thats all I can say. I went in for Ceasar salad in the bag but came out with Orange Juice. All the bag salads had seen better days. So Im not sure if Kroger isnt taking care of the product or the companies that distribute it are giving out almost wiltered goods. Ill drive farther to go to chamblee tucker or the lawrenceville kroger instead.
So tonight I learned from the customer service representative that her shutting down western union 15 minutes early and being completely unwilling to reopen the register wasnt a problem with her customer service and wanting to leave as early as possible but rather a problem with my white privilege... Really??!? Wow! Asked for the manager and the rep dragged her feet long enough that the store was officially closed.Guess what Kroger, since I couldnt send money to my family you just ruined their Christmas!
Stood in line at the money services for 15 minutes. One employee finished helping a customer and walked away. Waited another few minutes. Seriously?
Friendly place employees are very knowledgeable of their jobs
This is not a very nice or well run Kroger store. If you have other grocery options, you might want to exercise them.
Pharmacy. No. Good. Dont. Have. Prescriptions that. You. Turn in
Ive always liked this store, its always clean and the staff is polite
Over all its a grocery store. It has food and household items like every place though I will say they have great fruit juice options seriously love langers juice and dont know where else to get it...but every time I take a chance and buy discounted shellfish its already gone bad. You get what you paid for I guess.
Always find what I need, however I like my Kroger on Rockbridge in Stone Mountain better!!! I just stop by when Im in there area.
I always get good service at my neighborhood Kroger. The pricrs are good.
Been going here for years. Always has friendly staff and returns are easy. Things here are def cheaper than the publix down the street
Great place to work for. Associates are awesome to work with
Best krogers good customer service👍
I like Kroger and I like Tucker, Ga as one of the best areas to shop and eat near me. Unfortunately with the lack of good produce I will not return to this Kroger location any time soon.
Great service! One of my favorite stores!
One of the worst Krogers Ive been too. I was away from my home area stopped in to pick up a few things and found the selection to be lacking in all areas, I tried to buy yogurt and the first five I picked up were already past their expiration date. The bakery dept. was abismal, and sales tags were inaccurate throughout the store. I will never shop this location again.
Clean, most of employees very helpful, good variety of things I need
Nice employees, just wish they would open more checkout lines.
Very friendly and respectful associates. I like this location.
Friendly staff and great prices.
Kroger is a good groceries store nice, nothing spectacular about this place.
Its very great place to work and get food
Hazel in the hot foods section is one outstanding Kroger employee. I enjoyed her service.
Nice and friendly staff. Clean and neat store.
Its always packed. You hardly find parking. Especially when its raining you have to park all the way at the back and walk. It sucks
I love my Kroger Brand fruity water.
They are clean with friendly service and good deals.
It is alright for a Kroger, rather on the small side. There are better Krogers one could go to.
Friendly staff and store is always clean and well stocked.
