I would put a zero if I could. Went in and explained the issue I was having with my speakers. They assumed my speaker blew out which Im sure they knew exactly what it was. They fixed the speakers. Left the lot and it started to cut off again. I called the office and the guy was in a hurry to get me off the phone. Went back and now its the whole radio they have to replace, the fat guy with the chain said well at least you upgraded the sound I didnt go to get my sound upgraded. I went to get the issue fixed. Paid $270 for nothing. WOMEN DONT GO HERE they tend to take advantage....

Not a good experience at all...alls I asked was a simple amp kit lay down. It bumps while in park..as soon as put it in drive it turns off. I was on my way to an appointment so I couldnt turn around. I tried calling to explain the problem. Been trying to call since I left, conveniently nobody answers the phone. I live in PHX, was just visiting for the day. I wouldnt suggest you trust these guys.

Audio Express had unrealistic prices for what I wanted done. So I showed up here and they did the job for half the price and did it right then without having to schedule a stupid appointment like what Audio Express required. I loved the guys and the shop environment. Very cool bunch. Thanks Ill be back again soon!

Purchased auto lock doors and security system in 2005. The vehicle was in a total wreck. I went back to Sound FX and asked if they would help me with my new vehicle on 2006. Moses said yes and gave me a discount since I never really had a chance to use it. Fast forward to 2021 and the auto door lock parts were coming apart inside the doors. (Thank you Tucson roads) This was causing the security system to not work right. I went in and Moses, the same from 15 years ago got it all fixed and did NOT charge me a penny. He said he stood by their work and warranty. totally impressed and appreciative of his honor and goodness. What a great company and Moses is awesome to work with. Thank you!

These people are amazing, they installed 2 sets of speakers and a radio that I bought on Amazon (not knowing they sell this stuff for a better value) and 3 sets of offroading lights on my 4runner. Not only did they do a great job they were super friendly and have a hell of shop set-up. I definitely suggest checking them out!

Went in for assistance to run a power wire from my battery to my amp, they helped with no hassle, i even tipped the technician that helped me with it. Other shops have a BS minimum shop fee and try to say if I want the power wire ran, then I gotta pay for a whole amp install. they dont mess with that bs. they charge based on the labor at a fair price. All the employees are cool. Shop owner is amazing. Employees are cool

If i could give 0 stars i would my husband took his truck to have a alarm put in he dropped his truck off at 9a.m and was told it would take 6 hours it has now been 14 hours they close at 7 its now 11p.m alarm is still not in and now the drivers door and passenger door wont lock and window wont roll up.They told him just come back tomorrow the truck was left dirty inside and still not done. Very unprofessional would not recommend stay away. When my husband told them about the door locks and window not working that they broke all they said was ok just come back tomorrow

I have no idea how Moses goes above and beyond. Because I just finished calling there and I was rushed off the phone. All I did was ask for a woofer box for my car they told me that they don’t have it for the car and they pretty much ended the call pretty much. I would wonder if that’s their sales technique. Keep you wanting hoping that you call back or if they’re that rude to everybody not offering any type of customizations or anything else I would help them

Im not a guy to write bad reviews but this is necesaary, this place is one you want to avoid going to. LED that they wired stopped working after a few hours due to a bad crimped wire causing sparks, broken panels and just bad work all over. Never going back.

Cool environment for hot day

Unprofessional! My alarm is stuck on and I called this shop. I asked if they could send someone. They said they did not have anyone today. They might have someone Monday, but was not sure. They did not take my number and were NOT interested in helping me at all. Not very professional. They did not seem to care. I was planning on having a new alarm system installed and redoing the carpet. I will not be using this business.

They do good work with attention to detail my only complaint is they really must not communicate with EACHOTHER and they just havent been able to meet deadlines they set for themselves and i really think its been abit too long to not be done. Granted they are building a wall and doing an installation of quite a bit of equipment.

Walked in customer service was trash from the start was told my vehicles interior speakers were all 6X5 size so I purchased 2 sets . Turns out my rear speakers are 6x9 so came back the next day to return a set I didnt need . They gave me a hassle and told me they do not do cash back returns and said to wait for the owner big guy with fake chain informed me to come back in an hour came back and still no help . Terrible selection of equipment on the shelves as well. Shady people loitering outside the building . Will never return again . They need to be more professional instead of hanging out in the store like its a kickback . Thumbs down

The best place to get your stereo installed. Went to Auto Express first and the quoted me 500 to 600 to install my stereo. Then went to Sound Fx and they quoted me 40 dollars and had it in in about an hour. They we get all my business.

Price wasnt bad took a little over 3 hrs but i gave them only 2 stars because they left my car SO dirty it was particles eveywhere! I had to pay a detail company to clean the whole inside of my car because it was so much it looked like they had a saw dust party in my car they did good work but i wont be going back.

A++ honest folks. We bought a used Honda Odyssey that had aftermarket headrest DVD players in the seats, which appeared to not be working. I stopped in to inquire about new ones and the gentlemen working took a look at ours and advised us that we just need some IR headphones, issue was fixed! They could have just went ahead and charged us for something we didnt need, and they went the honest route. Stand up people working at this place, Ill be back soon to upgrade the speakers!

These guys are legit I got two 12 kickers and an amp installed in my 06 hummer, great pricing. The installer Lamar did an amazing job dialing in the subs (which sound extremely clean), and showing me how to adjust them if i wanted. Ron was very helpful with choosing a setup for me and starting the Install process with no delay!

Hands down best audio Shop in Tucson, Met the owner a few years ago and he has been able to provide topnotch knowledge on just about everything! Not only is Christopher and his very talented staff knowledgeable about car audio but also everything electrical as well! He also makes adapters for just about everything from appliances to everything you can think of! best service hands down and will be a continued repeat customer for life!

Moses and gang are amazing. I bought a Front and Rear Dash Cam from Amazon and they installed it in my Dodge Grand Caravan in a couple of hours. They quoted me $165 over the phone, which was already a great price, yet only charged me $140 once the work was completed. For the record I was quoted as high as $240 from another local business. The whole process was hassle free, the install was superb, and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend to not look elsewhere, you wont find a better deal or place to do business with.P.S. They also provide a very extensive collection of soap in the bathroom. ROTFL. :-)

Here is what is less than perfect about this place. Their on hand inventory could be better. But, if you can PLAN ahead of time and let them know what you want, they can get anything quickly.Here is why this place gets 5 Stars. They bust their butts to make you happy. They stay and work on your car until the job is done. Unlike the slick place up the road that quits and goes home promptly at official closing time. (Even if your car is still torn apart with a half finished installation)This place quotes a fair and reasonable price right up front.Vs. the other place that quotes a slightly inflated price and makes you walk out the door before they give you the better price.

In the past Ive always done all my work myself wasnt always the best looking but decent so when I showed up to sound fx with my oversized box and undersized wires the manager Moses had some eyebrows to raise I have since had them build me a new box that turned out beautifully and they have helped me with many wiring issues Im there about once a week trying to improve my system and the staff is all friendly with me I would recommend going there to anyone that ever has any stereo issues or anything related they do great work and they do it quickly

Mikey over at Sound F/X does a great job at installations. They installed a touch screen stereo and a back up camera and monitor in my motorhome as well.

Last week I called Sound Fx, I spoke to the owner - Christopher, I thought we had a good conversation as far as fog lights, however he was full of !@#$%, he told me that he had a variety of LED fog lights at his store, so I told him I would drop in Saturday to check them out, so that I can buy a pair and have them installed on my vehicle. Well when I got there, this tall guy greeted me, and told me, the Only Led products- he had were Led bulbs.........I guess Christopher is hard up for money and will do whatever he can to get you in his store, Id stay away from this place, as the owner is misleading.......one other note, he also mentioned that he wouldnt be there on Saturday, Now i know why.....

For some reason audio express was not willing to sell me a simple part needed to install something on my truck. the sound FX guys were beyond helpful and happily took care of what i needed for me. will definitely be going to them for all future car audio needs.

Showed up in the am, got 2 backup cameras installed on my truck and camper and left that afternoon. Mo had 2 great guys doing the install and they did a terrific job. Went further than they had to, to make it a perfect install.

I took my neighbors truck in to have her car alarm de-installed. She no longer needed it and it was working on and off. The entire staff treated us great ... took about 45 minutes ... I was amazed at the mass of wires and stuff that made up the system. She is a very happy camper. I would not hesitate to recommend Sound Fx for any automotive sound/security system.

Got a new head unit here. Process are pretty good. Finished the job in about an hour and I saw no issues. Really great staff who clearly love what they do.

After a long 4 hour wait at Audio Express I snapped to my senses at remembered then diamond in the dirt... Let me tell you the staff is friendly treated me like family not only did they get me in and out they did it to the highest standards!!! The owner Chris is a awesome guy had a good conversation with him about audio and life (like I said treated like family) very knowledgeable.... I very much recommend them to all Tucsonains!!!!!!! Just tonight I was dropping one of my friends off at the playground in downtown Tucson. My friend is severely handicapped and unable to walk very far, so I dropped her off right next to the playground entrance on the side. The driver of the company sound fx truck non-stop layed on his horn while my friend was trying to get out of the car. The driver continued to try and show road aggression towards me by getting extremely close to my car and swerving towards me. This is absolutely not a way that a driver should act, especially while in a company vehicle. If this is what kind of employees I can expect to be working for this place then Im steering clear. Hopefully this 1 star review stops a few people from choosing this establishment. Karma sucks.

Knowledgeable, and reasonable

Very unprofessional!! Drilled holes in the wrong location of the liftgate of my vehicle to mount backup camera and filled them in with caulking hoping I would not see them and never told me about them. Left the hood unlatched which I had to pull over on freeway to shut the hood which could have caused a dangerous situation, also left trash in vehicle and took owners manual that came with the stereo. Dont go here if you want professional service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moses, the manager, was very professional and courteous. Installer Kevin did a great job very quickly. They got me in on a Saturday and charged a reasonable amount. I had called Audio Express (at Oracle and River), and they were not sure they knew how to work on my model BMW, could not get to it on a Saturday (because they didnt have enough techs on duty), and wanted to charge 2.5 times what I paid at Sound FX. The Specialists (at Orange Grove and Thornydale) could not get to it until Monday. Sound FX had several installers on the premises, preventing a backlog. I heartily recommend Sound FX!
