The old saying You get what you pay for” rings true when I am referring to the Specialist shop off of Broadway, Tucson. I first brought my 2008 Dodge Caliber to the Specialist Shop in 2008, to have the windows tinted. Unlike other vehicles I have seen on the road, the tint job on the caliber is still intact. There are very few installer whose tint will last for over ten years. Kudos for accomplishing such a fantastic job. Years later I brought my new Kia to them, to have new speakers installed. Again, the Broadway folks, exceeded my expectations. They assisted me with choosing the right speakers for my type of music. I am not into extremely loud bass and truck bumping music, but more into Jazzy/ R&B, Needless to say, they hit it out the park, with the combination of speakers and amp. My last experience was this year, when I decided to change out my head unit, instead of paying $200.00 to a foreign company for each map update. The store manager (Ramsses Castro) was very accommodating providing options and worked closely with me throughout the entire process. About right now, is when my opening line comes into play You get what you paid for. BASICALLY: If you value your car, then you have no issues paying a little more to have it done correctly. The Specialist technicians take extreme pride in their work. The work they do is on par as any professional artist; clean and precise results. If you want your audio clean as a piece of art, The Specialist should be your first stop. They may be a little pricey, but you are paying to the best audio artist in the nation.

This was the most efficient and wonderful work environment I have ever personally delt with. After dealing with a few issues involving Audio Express, I decided that The Specialist was a good way to go. After having my hopes down for so long about my vehicle sound system and subs, I was appreciatively greeted with astounding customer service before I could fully enter the building. From there a great guy by the name of Alex assisted me through the process of showing me what was wrong with my system. This was granted I spoke with a few different places prior to showing. The help was A1. The employees were friendly yet dedicated to help you. And I walked out of what was originally a negative experience turned completely positive. Due to intricate thinking and discussing, they have satisfied yet another customer. Worth every penny and will continue to go back. Your missing out if your going anywhere else but here.

Recently just had a new stereo system installed in my 2019 RZR. Everything from scheduling and ordering by Jerry to the install by Matt and Rod exceeded my expectations. They got the items i needed and installed in a quicker time than was quoted without taking any of the shortcuts on the install. The crew is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Went to this location to get a quote for keyless entry and an alarm installed. Got a quote, set an appointment for the following Friday. Showed up for the appointment and no one new anything about what needed to be done or the appointment. The mgr. asked if I was at the right place. For a place that deals with electronics, I cant believe they write down appointments(or dont in this case) manually on a worn out calendar that gets passed around. I will definitely spend my money somewhere else.

Thanks for all your help with building some speaker adapters for my 6x9’s in the front doors of my F-150. These far exceeded the cheap plastic ones you get normally. They look and more importantly fit well and make a solid mount for my speakers.

Quick and easy appointment. The tint was actually darker than I was expecting and did not have any issues. Bubbles went away quickly and I am very satisfied. Id recommend them to anyone looking to get car window tint.

Alex did a great job. He coordinated getting a new stereo system in my ML55 at the Speedway location and paint-protection performed at the AutoMall location. He is efficient and an excellent communicator.

Took in my car to a different auto service for a radio diagnostic and they ended up creating 3 more electrical problems after telling me my radio was dead.These guys not only swapped out my radio, but also fixed my internal lighting, a busted fuse, and my door locks free of charge. 10/10 would go back. I had to wait a week for the service but it was indeed worth it.

Not knowing much about audio installation. These guys took the time to educate and walk me through all recommendations. Ran into an issue after the initial set up. Informed them of the problem I was having. They didnt hesitate to get me back in to get my system running optimally. Has been great ever since. Would recommend these guys to anyone!

Best place in town for any car audio!! I brought my 1989 Chevy Caprice in to upgrade the sound system and Chris Holt knocked it out of the park! It is a very sentimental car for me and I wouldnt trust ANYONE else to work on it. Cant recommend highly enough!

I recently had an alarm and remote locks installed on my mothers car. the quote they gave was about $60 less than the competition, that and the favorable reviews lead me to choose them. While I waited during the install...which took about 45-55 minutes less than they told me, I listened and watched Josh and David work with several customers ...it seemed to me they werent selling a set item as much as meeting the customers needs with patience, knowledge and value. I will not hesitate to take my future business there and Ill recommend them to my friends.

I had a new sub and amp installed here, the service was dope and the process was quick and simple. Im actually going back to get window tint put on.

As a former window film installer, I tend to over-scrutinize the work of others when I have windows tinted. However, I brought my vehicle in to The Specialists to have a tint strip installed after having the windshield replaced and I was very impressed. They use only the highest quality film and adhesive activator, even on an insurance job where Im sure they cant charge what theyre worth. If their film installation is any reflection of their car audio work, I will be back very soon for a full audio overhaul!

Excellent customer service and Im very satisfied with the quality of work they put into my vehicle. I had a Bluetooth radio and car alarm system installed, both of which turned out great, and was able to get my car back within the same day. Daniel was knowledgeable and gave a call when it was ready. Worth the price compared to other audio stores.

I have to rave about the great service this store provided my mom! She had called for an appointment and was quoted an amount for new speakers in her car. When she arrived for her appointment she was all set to pay the quoted amount but the manager wanted to have a closer look at the problems she was having with her current speakers. Turns out there was a problem with her subwoofer that by disconnecting it wouldnt change the music enjoyment for my mom. JC, Ali and Ramses all went out of their way to assist my mom. Instead of trying to sell her a new speaker system, which she didnt want or need, they solved her problem and didnt charge a dime!!! I would highly recommend this store to anyone. Been through the ringer with other car audio companies, trying to save money I guess. When I went into the Specialist on Broadway I knew right away that A. I wasnt saving money elsewhere - just sacrificing quality, and B. That I was dealing with experience, and HONESTY. I had an existing set up that I had done at a small name shop that had serious flaws, but also stuff that was done right. When I talked about redoing certain parts of it they talked me out of it when they could have just capitalized from the situation. There is no frivolous upsell, and they make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into. I have lots of upcoming projects that I absolutely will not trust to anyone else.

Weve had 3 car stereos installed by the Specialists and when the volume knob started acting up on my daughters stereo after about a year and a half, they informed us that there is nothing they could do to fix it, as it is not caused by an electronic issue, but rather wear and tear. However, they did provide us with a workaround at no charge, which we really appreciated. Thanks the Specialists!

We had a very good experience with The Specialists. They did everything as promised, more or less on time (there was glitch because the car camera, which came with the car, did not hook up to the system as planned, they compensated by installing a new camera free of cost), we will use them again.

Poor communication and install.I was quoted ~$250 for install assuming the shop supplied the stereo, harness, and accessories in March. I was promised a call back with sourcing the stereo the next week never got a call back. Fast forward two months I call to make an appointment and I advised I will supply all the parts minus the USB to cigarette outlet adapter. At that time was not told price for install.Dropped the car off in the morning was never told of a install price until the car was ready for pickup and the price was double for install. The guy who quoted me was fired between March and when the car was picked up.To add insult to injury they said the dash kit I supplied was cheap. This statement is false since it is specifically designed for my vehicle to retain factory look and features and was double the price of the metra kit $400 vs $250.The dash kit was cracked between the stereo and the HVAC. I will have to buy another dash kit for $400 again. In addition to different brackets since the stereo is not flush with the dash kit at all. I was charged to modify the dash kit when there are visible sanding marks due to the lack of the radio not being flush.Lastly, was never asked where I wanted the mic mounted. They refused to install it on the a pillar. They said it was due to it being a convertible, but my car is a targa top.I will never take another one of my vehicles to this shop again. Which is unfortunate as I have went to them in the past and have received excellent work.

They took 4 hours to install a simple Pioneer CD player in my 2000 Ford E350 RV ....Cant recommend this kind of service..plus they damaged my 24 foot RV while moving it..

I wanted to wait a few days after getting my system put in before writing a review. So far so good. Everything is working perfect. The installation was done very neat and sleek. We had to order some parts and wait a little but thats just life. So thats all good. Plus the wait was worth it. Again Amazing job from The Specialists Team on Broadway. Our salesmen Daniel V. Was nothing but helpful from the moment I walked in the door. To taking my impatient calls asking about, when is it coming in Whens it coming lol also being knowledgeable about the product and actually listening to what I was asking for. I through them a curve ball and switched speaker size. Being in sales i understand its tough to chang product when financing. Thats where Store Manger Ramsses came in and was able to make it work. He answered all my questions and I left there store feeling very good about the purchase. And one more shout out to CJ. I was fortunate enough to meet him before the Installation and ask a few questions. This man knows his stuff. I highly recommend. Thanks agin guys. I will be bringing in my truck next.

Well I have to admit that Im really satisfied with the customer service and the work THE SPECIALISTS have done for me.I have a 2013 VOLVO 670 semitruck/18wheeler so I wanted to replace my factory CD player to the latest aftermarket CD player and for the past 4 months I have went and ask 20+ places including THE VOLVO DEALERSHIP AND BEST BUY as big as they r u would think they would solve ur problems right lol some doesnt have a clue some r afraid to touch it due to the trucks sophisticated electrical system and the unique wires in it nd some ask up to $3,500 to replace the entire stereo wiring module because the wire in it isnt analog signal its electrical light signal its their word I guess a gd way to rip ppl offso after I read all the excellent reviews THE SPECIALISTS got I went over 1 of the 3 shops they have @5602 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85711U wouldnt believe it they had the wire harness @ the shop they didnt even have to order it which I couldnt find anywhere not only that they solve my 4 months problems and headaches by installing my KENWOOD CD player less than an hour professionally nd neatly now am being able to use my XM,PANDORA,iHiheartradio, & BluetoothI wander y they have great reviews they deserve it nd I suggest all volvo truck owners who would like to do the same to go to THE SPECIALISTS STEREO INSTALLERS nd I know bunch of em who is struggling with this VOLVO SINDROME just like I LOLI thank u guysAberaham

This is my first time with specialist first they talk like professional but they arent bought 10 in JL Audio sub and the enclosure plus wires labor out the door for $1080 I know that I pay more than I should but I just hope they do it right what I ask for but it turn out the enclosure box was broke and the way it carpeted is a piece of crab sound like shittttttttttty there is no way you can an error like that I found the place out there doing the same thing cost me only $490 with installed this is very bad business they doing never come back or refer any friends by by by Specialist
