Chavez Wrought Iron designed beautiful front Security screen doors, fenced in a courtyard in our front with perfectly designed gates & fencing. Everything is snake proofed and we love the rusted look. After our front doors were installed we decided to remove the tile in our entryway and had a copper epoxy flooring installed. Love it but then realized we had a 1 inch gap under our doors. We called Adriane to come out and immediately he had a perfect solution. He had the crew remove our front doors and they customized a threshold to fit under the side panels and front Security doors. You would never know there was a problem. My project involved the creation of decorative wrought iron to serve as a liner for an eight foot opening, 50 wide and with arch at the top. We had a security door that was missing the metal screen. I called several local contractors in Tucson and sent them photos of the door. The people at Chavez were responsive, courteous, and professional. Their bid was reasonable when compared with bids from the other contractors. The work was completed right away and done to my complete satisfaction. They actually did some additional work to make the door more secure at no additional charge. I always prefer to support locally-owned family businesses. I have already arranged for them to do another job for me. Strongly recommended.

I bought a house with existing security bars over the doors and windows. Work was needed. I contacted numerous companies, but chose Chavez Wrought Iron to do the work and I can tell you I made an excellent decision. Andrea, the office mangaer, handled all the quotes, scheduling and follow up professionally and punctually. She also is very personable and polite. A pleasure to work with. The technician performed the work as scheduled. I didnt fully understand how to open the windows in the kids bedrooms, in the event of a fire. Adrian Chavez (owner) made an extra trip and came out to the house and explained it in detail so I fully understood. And no extra charge! He was so helpful and it was obvious that he cared about me as a customer and a person. Chavez Wrought Iron is family owned and operated and they are honest, reliable and do great work. We just added custom security screens to our front entrance and they are amazing. We have had several neighbors stop by and comment on how stunning they are. My experience with Chavez Wrought Iron was absolutely perfect. The professional and pleasant staff answered all my questions and kept me informed of every step in getting the job done. The quick response to scheduling an appraisal appointment (next morning) was appreciated as we were expecting guests the next evening. The gate was repaired that same day as promised and we were very pleased with the end result. We appreciated their expert advice with suggestions to help keep our gate in working order as well as protecting the glass/copper panels. Very dissatisfied with their lack of customer service. I set up an appointment last week for today. The arrival time was between 930 and 1030. My husband works mid and I advised them of this therefore punctuality is key. A bit after 10 I called and asked on status of arrival. The female who answered (with attitude) stated he was on his way. I stated that if he isnt going to make it by 1030 on the dot, to just disregard. Well he didnt make it. Female called me at 1034 and said that Alejandro Jr. Wasnt gonna make it by 1030 so she told him to turn around. She had no apology or attempt to reschedule. They just lost a good 2 to 4 k sale. Why is it so hard to provide courtesy, punctuality and good customer service these days?

Adrian Chavez came out to my house and gave us a fantastic estimate (not the cheapest but not the most expensive one either) It was the THE BEST quality of all of the competitors that we pooled from a total of 8. He gave us designs with dimensions and was able to send it in for association architecture committee to approve it even before paying for anything. Then the gorgeous door was delivered, installed, paint was more then dry and top notch lock system to match the doors. I loved that he was able to handy my picky design and it didnt even phase him, indeed enhanced my design to his expertise. I cant thank him enough... I just cant wait to have another project to work with him again.

We researched a lot of companies when we were looking for someone to build a gate and low fence around the front and side of our house to keep the javelina from repeatedly getting to my flower pots! It was a pretty big job and we liked the idea of supporting a local family owned business with a long track record of high quality work. Chavez Wrought Iron helped us pick a beautiful design, took the time and care to carefully plan the project and the installation was fast and very professionally done. You may be able to find someone to do the work cheaper, but it will NOT be the high quality and beautiful workmanship that Chavez Wrought Iron gives you. My husband and I were so impressed with the final results - it was even better than we anticipated. The fence blends beautifully with our landscaping and style of the house and the surrounding desert. The gate is incredible - beautiful design, top quality hardware, hinge mechanism and literally a joy to walk through every day! Even our UPS man commented on how well done it was (and he says he walks through 81 gates a day!). If you are considering any type of wrought iron work - do not waste your time looking elsewhere. First of all, you had folks out to get exact measurements not once but twice. What we appreciated the most was the fact that you installed the door while were out of town on an emergency. Normally we would not allow anyone to work on our home without us being there, however, we felt so comfortable with your local small Family Business Approach, that we approved the installation without our presence. I have a security door my mother-in-law had a custom-made for her home we removed it when we sold the home in Phoenix my wife wanted it reinstalled in our home in Tucson I call this company and they were very accommodating came to my home and installed it it was definitely five stars . Not many people would reinstall somebody elses work I appreciate the excellent service

I was disappointed with them. I was told on a Tuesday they would be out on Saturday to fix my wrought iron door. So I waited Saturday comes and a hour before my appointment I get a call telling me they are so busy on the north side of town in the foothills that they cant make it to my house till Tuesday . I trusted them and they screwed me. Chavez Wrought Iron are irresponsible and not trust worthy.

Terrible communication and non-existent follow up. They came out to look at our house and discuss a project, but never provided an estimate, despite multiple calls afterwards. Inexcusable. Now they say they are too busy for new customers. Look elsewhere for your fence and gate needs.
