A few months ago Always Open and Shut garage came out to repair my garage door which wasnt opening consistently in the winter. After they repaired it, I had the same issue happen a few weeks later. They came out and replaced a different part and its been working great ever since. The gentleman who worked on my garage was timely and helpful. Overall a great experience. I would recommend them.

We have been given the round around and have been waiting going on 3 weeks to repair our garage doors. Will definitely not recommend them.

Excellent service. I backed into my door and knocked the sensor off the bottom. It was an inexpensive repair. The work man was fast to wire it back together and reset everything. I will use and recommend this company for furture issues.

This was a referral from a home warranty service and after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit skeptical. I couldnt have been happier. Mitchell was our tech and was on-time, very professional and had my problem diagnosed and fixed within about 5 minutes. He helped me with some knowledge about the doors and openers for my next one and gave me some valuable tips on how to maintain my current system as well as recommendations for any new equipment in the future. This was a Home Warranty referral. The tech I worked with was Dave. Turns out I needed a whole new unit as the old one just went bad. Awesome to work with, super knowledgeable, and didnt mind me hanging around to learn a thing or two. This company was assigned to me via my home warranty. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little nervous about the work they may do and the experience I may have with them BUT I must say I am 100% satisfied with them and for that reason I wanted to write my own review.They were prompt to contact me, prompt to schedule and on time! William evaluated the problem quickly and repairs were done in about an hour. My garage spring & cables were broke. I also choose to have new rollers installed. William was kind, courteous and professional.From my experience I would recommend this company!

The previous owner of the home we had just purchased had used Open & Shut, so I gave them a call when one of our doors started randomly opening due to a failed safety sensor. The tech, Bill Bryant arrived on time respectfully wearing a face mask and quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. I always like to learn what I can from the service techs and I could tell Bill was very knowledgeable, took pride in his ability and took extra time to point out some of the common issues with the door openers, like not using LED bulbs in the door opener.I also asked about installing the hardware to use the MyQ Smart Home app for my door openers and he was kind enough to leave equipment that someone else had turned in saving me the cost of purchasing a new set. I installed the wireless bridge that he left with me and it works perfectly.Superb service!

Angel was the tech that took care of our garage door, he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and got the job done quickly! This is our second time using the company and both times its been a great experience. Thanks Angel for explaining why it wasnt a good idea for me to try to do the repair myself. I know a lot of homeowners like me who try to tackle home repairs to save money, but garage doors can be really dangerous and its def not worth losing a finger or worse! Just call these guys and theyll take good care of you. :)

This company was assigned to me via my home warranty company. The tech arrived and I left him to do the work in the garage. I realized a day later that the tech had stolen several small power tools and other items from my garage! DO NOT Leave anyone from this company unattended at any time in your home or garage. When I called to speak to the manager, I had to leave her a message. She returned my call and left a voicemail telling me I had called the wrong place, despite also saying she had a clear record of having sent a technician to our home. Do not use this company for your garage door needs.

So Far so good. Ask for Mitchell specifically. He did a fine install andanswered all my questions. This company is a Pella rep so they install the doors you can buy online at Lowes. Save yourself 50% over local contractors.

We called AlwaysOpen and Shut for emergency service because our garage door fell off the track. They were very quick to respond. The price was by far the most inexpensive emergency fee we found. The job was done same day, all of the parts needed were on the service mans truck. The service tech was pleasant and he answered all my questions. We will tell all our friends that this is a great company! Thank you!!

Great company, great people. Called them out to take a look at our garage door that wouldnt open. Came the same day and diagnosed the problem . Only charged us 65.00. Ive known Mitch for many years now. Friendly, honest and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Tech was over an hour late to appointment. Supposedly fixed opener. Still doesnt work. Home warranty insurance wont fix because technician advised to replace. Quote to replace was ridiculously expensive. Woman who answers phone at repair place is about as friendly as a a brick wall. Look somewhere else.

Not an outstanding experience. Ordered a wifi Liftmaster opener with a wireless keypad. They quoted $375 plus the remote. The installer came to our home as scheduled but the first thing he said was the rail was 7 foot and I need an 8 footer. They would have to order it and maybe he could install it next week. So I planned the day for nothing. A short time later the company called and the price would be increased by $40 since I needed a longer (and more expensive) rail. I told them that they quoted the lower price and why should I pay for their mistake, this did no good.Rescheduled a new date for install and that went good. Paid the higher price. Then to find out that this model is notorious for not working with my cars Homelink setup. So I had to order an add on item and while that seems to work the range is very limited and was a terror to install.The company called and asked if everything was OK and I told them what you have read in this review. She said the Manager would call me to try and make things right. Still waiting on that call.

Called because garage would open but not shut Called my home warranty and they referred us to always open. They came out and fixed the problem. It work for one day and we called them back and they came out again and fixed the problem again Tech admitted this whole thing was his fault which was awesome but now AGAIN WE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!!!!! Now I have to miss another day of work because they cant seem to fix my door

Mitch showed up for the appointment on time, found the problem right away (worn out gear), had the part with him and was done with the repair within the hour. Excellent service. Garage door that used to sound like it was going to fly off the ceiling now purrs like a kitten. Highly recommend.

Had an appt yesterday. I wasnt able to be home for it but there were 5 people home and 2 dogs. I missed a call from the office saying tech was at my house and nobody answered. Within 12 min, I called back to say my family didnt hear the doorbell. CSR said he was gone to next job and now they are charging a $75 missed appt fee. Ridiculous, how do you stay in business if this is how you treat customers in an industry where we can chose any company?

We arrived back from vacation to a broken door w/our cars stuck inside. Originally scheduled a week out, but after some pleading they came 3 days later.
