Id give more than 5 stars if possible. They were here very quickly, right at the time they said they would. The technician knew what he was doing and got everything fixed in about 40 min. Reasonable price, too. Cant ask for much more than that!

Fast, friendly service with high quality workmanship for a fair price. The sound of my garage door opening has become much quieter too since he changed out the old spring. New insulated double garage door purchased from this company. They were able to install the door 2 months earlier than anyone else, which was a priority as we could no longer open our old door with the panels so badly damaged.Price wise, they were also the cheapest quote we got, nearly 50% cheaper than some of the other quotes (8) we received. I wouldnt normally go with the cheapest quote but due to the positive reviews i read, i decided to and have zero regrets on that front.Highly recommend discount door service, Eddie is a top technician and had the new door up in no time for us. We live about 30+ miles outside of Tucson. Played heck finding someone to come out even offering to pay a trip fee. But this owner understood, that as a business owner myself I understand what it takes to run a business and fees involved in committing and commuting to an out of town job. I called in Thursday and they were here on Saturday to do a full garage door replacement, all hardware and a motorized lift after I explained my husband was over fighting with our 50+ year manual door opener that the springs would pop on or something would fall off on and jam the door every time the poor man tried to take a vehicle in our out. Not only is it difficult to find someone to travel to our location we also work with limited time constraints being home as our business takes us away from home with limited time to get things done. The owner is a lot like me and puts in the same kind of hours I do in a day to run a tight and efficient business meeting her customers needs and thats something I value and respect. Their pricing is more than reasonable and their service is top notch. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, PROMISE!

I had THE BEST experience with Melissa and Kevin of Discount Garage Door. I was trying to change the code on the keypad outside the garage Friday afternoon and managed to wipe out the old code but not able to put in a new code...so, no access to garage. The first company I called couldnt come until Wednesday. I called Discount and spoke to Melissa. She said Kevin would be there at 7 am Saturday morning and he was. Kevin was unable to get a new code in either (the system was over 23 years old) but was at my house bright and early Monday morning and replaced the whole system. The new system is SO quiet. Discount door service is incredible! I had a side entry gate that needed to be moved up four inches from the ground. They gave me an excellent price and were done within an hour. I started out by having another well reviewed company come out to give my mother an estimate for a garage door inspection as it stopped working completely.The diagnosis given was similar to your companys, except it appeared that they had mentioned the part (circuit board) was no longer available due to the age. They also stated I needed some additional items, such as ball bearing rollers because ours were shot. My mother definitely did not feel comfortable with the pricing given and had me get another estimate.Thats when I called and spoke with Melissa. She was extremely nice and helpful and was able to have Eddie come out the same day and give me a second opinion. He mentioned he could replace the circuit board for a small fee, but he also gave me a quote to replace. He was not pushy or suggestive, but rather have me the options to make my own decision. I opted to replace the entire motor as I didnt see it feasible to dump money into an old system. I asked him about the rollers and he said they were fine, but that the door would need to be lubricated, which he also did. All in all, the cost was half of what the other company had bid me and was completed the same day!Afterwards, my mom called me and praised Eddies workmanship and willingness to help on top of how comfortable he made her feel, which is a priority to me. Local company with great service. I called this morning about my garage door not opening. I spoke with Melissa, who was very friendly and helpful. She offered to send someone out right away, but as I’m working from home, it wasn’t urgent. Eddie, the technician, arrived on time this afternoon. He knew what was wrong and what needed to be replaced in about 5 minutes. He had all of the supplies and replacement parts on his truck and had my garage door working in an hour. I couldn’t be happier with the service. I’d definitely call them again.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY 10 STARS I WOULD!! We contacted them this morning as our garage door acted up yesterday with our vehicles stuck inside. They immediately scheduled a Technician and, upon his arrival, he found the cause of the failure, a broken spring, and quoted us a very fair and simple price to fix immediately. Both the woman who answered the phone and the technician were courteous and polite. 45 minutes later the door was fixed and in operation.Prior to their arrival we had another company out to look at the same problem and that company quoted us four times as much claiming many of the components of the door had failed and, at this point, we would be in the market for a new door at $1000.This company is honest and fair. This is to give a big thumbs up to Discount Door Service here in Tucson. As usual our garage door starts acting up at the worst time, it would open but would not close. What was so great about our experience is that Melissa first helped us to diagnose the problem without the possible need to send someone out…very nice. Next, when we concluded that the problem needed professional assistance they send Kevin out right away. He was very helpful and after the install was completed made sure all our vehicles worked correctly with the replaced sensor board, he was also clean and tidy not leaving a mess. Every time they have come out to service my garage door, they always give me ALL of the options at hand so I can decide what is best for me and my budget. Love this company. Everyone from Melissa in the office to Eddy and Dennis installing a new opener were great. Fantastic service at a critical moment! A cable snapped on our garage door as we were on our way to the hospital for an emergency — yikes! We took a car that fortunately was outside since the garage door was dead and couldn’t be lifted. We called on our way to the hospital and Michelle offered to send her technician an hour later so the door would be fixed by the time we got back — wow! I took advantage of their Amazon Local deal in Tucson for garage door maintenance. Ours had been rattling and was quite noisy for the last year or so. Will was able to fit in my appointment despite very short notice. He replaced the rollers and oiled all components. The door operation is now very smooth and quiet. He also helped me purchase and set up several new remotes (as we had lost some over the years). Fast, friendly and efficient service!

Had them replace and install a new garage door opener that we purchased from Sears. Came out in the time frame they said, it went very well and very reasonable price. Did not try to up sell any additional services as another company had done before. Pointed out what potential problems for us to keep an eye on. Cleaned up area before they left. Got up to go to work, my door would not open. I was not sure if my I needed a new motor or what was going on. My husband looked at it and seen cables were loose and said to call someone. I called a few companies, spoke with Melissa at Discount Door Service she said her tech Eddie could be there within an hour.
