My experience was almost completely wonderful. It was exactly as I have experienced before with such companies. The gentleman that helped me; I apologize for not remembering his name, was completely professional and compassionate. The downside happened when a female employee, no name known, decided to interject herself into the appointment. Although, apparently knowledgeable, she brought a disconnect to the deal. My unsold items were cupped in her hands and laid into my professional jewel box indiscriminately. My appointment was with a relatively new employee who certainly knew what he was doing. If he had been left alone then all would have made 5 stars. Kudos to the guy that made me feel human that day.

I LOVE going to PMR to buy gold, silver or beautiful jewelry. The manager, Cody, is consummate professional and a delight. Kim is extremely knowledgeable and lovely. You can sell your gold and silver for top dollar or buy it for the lowest price, its the best of both worlds. Its a gem we are fortunate to have in the Old Pueblo. Go see them first for your precious metal needs, they are the BEST DEAL in town!

I had a good visit, the girls there were accommodating and they got what I thought was a fair price for my ring. I decided not to sell it at this time. Yesterday I got a call from a gentleman just following up, I told him I would rather keep it in the family instead. He told a little more about their business and what they purchase and was very nice. Ill be back to this store if we have anything to sell.

Noelle was a very nice and easy going lady. I had some gold jewelry that I no longer had need of and she appraised it all and I sold all of it except for one piece. Thought the price might be a bit low but to be truthful they were recommended by a friend and I didnt even look around anywhere else. I will definitely go back with some other jewelry that I have as i believe they treat you as well as any store and were very professional.

I sold some jewelry to this location and had a wonderful experience. I was greeted right when I entered, and offered water while being taken to their office. I was helped by a younger women, I believe her name was Sam, and she was so nice to work with. There was a few questions she had about a couple pieces from a younger guy, I think was the manager. He was outstanding, he not only stayed and helped her but answered all the questions I had, he was a book of knowledge for sure! The price I got for my items was fair, but really the employees are what made this whole experience great. The younger gentleman gave me his card, which I already gave away, and then while I was leaving they walked me to the door and gave me a brochure of the other things they buy. I honestly cant say more good things about this place, I rarely write reviews but it just seemed everyone went above and beyond for me.

PMR is a terrific company! Ive used them for selling my old jewelry over the years, but I was most moved by their kind attention to my elderly parents, who also used PMR for their estate needs. Robert and his staff were always willing to sit down, answer questions and take time inspecting all items. We never felt rushed, pushed or undervalued. Went in to sell a coin last week. They appraised it on the spot and gave me a fair price based on current market prices of metal commodities. The staff is also very friendly and mindful of health during these times. Would do business there again if I have the need.

Went into Oracle and River store to sell some gold Krugerrand. I asked the salesman what they were paying for gold. He said 95% of spot. I asked him which spot market they use. He said Kitco. I asked him what was spot today and he said 2024.xx. I said I had Kitco spot on my phone and it is presently 2034.xx. He said oh, we subtract 15 to 20 dollars from spot for the transaction. I said you said you offer 95% of spot but now you say you subtract 15-20 from spot and then offer me 95% of that price. I said that is very dishonest and left with my gold. Do not trust this dealer.

First time dealing with a pawn shop, needing to sell old gold and diamond wedding ring plus other miscellaneous gold items. Leigh White was wonderful in explaining everything as she analyzed the items as she went through what I had. Everything was done right before me. I felt I got good value for what I wanted to sell and was very pleased with learning about my jewelry and how it will impact future purchases. My husband and I will definitely be back to the store as we have plans for purchasing some rings for our granddaughters. And, he already has a ring put on layaway for my birthday this year.

After reviewing these negative comments it makes me nervous. I was going to bring in a ring as were no longer together. But I spent alot on this ring and pawn shop offered me 750 just to pawn. Was looking to sell for more. But now I need to look into other places before coming down. Sadly I get feelings that as MOST businesses do. Write there own positive reviews tohave friends do them to boost there ratings. Im seriously unsure now Im sorry.

Other places in Tucson offered me a maximum of 30 cents a gram for sterling silver scrap. PMR offered me 38 cents a gram which was 27% higher than my next best offer. Robert was pleasant and knowledgeable and helpful. I am very happy about the experience.

At first I thought that this business was a better way to go to sell my silver, the employees were very nice and professional, but I was told that it would take a few days for them to do further testing and that I would be paid, well I turned my silver in last week and today is Friday and I still havent been paid nor have they called me. This is my way to pay my bills and survive. I couldve went else where and got paid a little less but I wouldnt be penniless and able to continue smelting silver. I wont be using their services again, I would rather take less cash then deal with this again.

Ive been doing business with Robert at PMR for six years and I have always had a great experience. I highly recommend Robert and his staff as I know you will be treated very professionally. Ive dealt with several other shops in Tucson and cant say the same for them.

My experience at this place was absolutely horrible. First they quoted a gold spot price that was well below the actual spot price at the time. Then they offered a ridiculously low amount for a premium gold coin (86% of spot). The clerk was very rude and when I complained, they asked me to leave. I sold the coin at another coin store up the street for a lot more (95% of spot). The difference in dollars was significant. I would not recommend PMR to anyone; look elsewhere. Their response below is false, they never offered me 95%, instead they tried to low ball me. I pointed out their offer was well below spot and at least $250 below the value of the coin at that time. Furthermore, I never made any threats of any kind. I called another coin dealer on the phone and secured a better deal in front of their other customers. I know how the coin trade works and believe they tried to take advantage of me. IMHO, PMR is the worst place in town to sell precious metals. I recommend Arizona Coins & Collectables. Peter was very nice and did not play any games; he gave me his best offer up front. You should go there first; he is just up the street from PMR.

I was just offered 52% of the actual value of some scrap jewlery I brought in to sell. They advertise that they pay 50-70 % more than their competitors... Only if their competitors are paying $0. Dont go here to sell scrap precious metals. You will be ripped off.

Loved dealing with Philip at this location -he has excellent knowledge of rare watches and one of the best diamond-assessment eyes in the business. Great service, best buying prices in town!I should note that I have noticed a few one-star reviews on this location with people saying reviews are paid. I was in the Oracle store with a friend just yesterday and at no time did anyone ask me to post a review, and I have definitely not been offered payment for reviewa (believe me, theres a Tiffany necklace in there I love and Id be shilling like an idiot if they were paying.) This accusation is patently false in my experience and I think they may have a competitor posting false reviews. We were, again, treated wonderfully even though we were just looking, and theyve redecorated again - this location is the most upscale buying place I have seen in town. Ive now dealt with Oley, Jasmine, Philip and Larry, and I cant recommend them enough.Edit 9/15/18 - The new store look is classy and beautiful. Everyone is always so accommodating and easy to deal with when I go in to sell, buy or just window shop! Their location has a much higher end look and feel than some other places, definitely not like a pawn shop. I was greeted by Oley, offered a beverage while I waited. I had a ballpark idea of what I wanted for my items. Oley tested them, then asked me what amount I had in mind. Instead, I let him suggest something, and it was a couple of hundred dollars more than I expected. Oley was friendly, professional, caring. Id definitely do more business with this business because of him.

Use caution when taking diamonds.. More like bottom dollar.. Now i get that theyre trying to make a buck. But when they offer less than the bottom value on a higher quality stone thats a lil bit of a scam.. 200 on a half karat stone is no where near top dollar.Never again and i will steer anyone i know clear of these scammers.

PMR is the only place I’ll ever go for buying and selling jewelry! My fiancée recently proposed with the most beautiful ring I could have ever imagined getting, and he told me it was all with the help of Robert, the store owner at PMR. He spent several days and long hours making sure that the ring was perfect, and even provided my fiancée and I a jewelry cleaner to help keep my diamond clean all year long!!! Now that is superb customer service! I truly could not be happier and will continue to use Robert for future jewelry purchases. It’s hard to find people now a days that put the time and effort into the work necessary to make a customer feeing TRULY satisfied, but Robert does the job. PMR is a gem!!!

I found PMR through online reviews comparing them to other jewelry buyers. I was a walk-in. They sat me down in front of a tv on a comphy couch and offered me water or coffee while I waited. Oley ended up promply coming to my service and looked over all of the jewelry I had brought in in front of me showing me through actual scientific methods which items were real, which items would be best for their business or just better off selling on ebay etc. (Costume jewelry), and even ended up proving a long owned family item was a fake which was shocking. However he handled this shocking revelation in an empathetic yet professional manner. They are even giving me a great deal to spruce up the fake because even though the market value is low the sentimental value is high. I was SUPER impressed with my entire experience. Since these reviews are what led me to the establishment, I wanted to let everyone know I had a great, educational, and profitable experience. Ask for Oley if you can - hell tell it to you straight but in a compassionate manner. I left very impressed :)
