Kimberley Urbina took care of me at this Uhaul and this has been the best experience at a Uhaul for me to date. This was the first time I needed to haul something with my small Hyundai Elanta and Kim helped me choose the best trailer for my needs and car limitations as well as she installed everything for me and thats including the adapter and ball that I purchased somewhere else. I really felt taken care of and will try to come to this particular Uhaul from now on if I can help it.

Uhaul is my go-to place for moving supplies. Sturdy boxes and a great variety for household items. However in Tucson I found this group very un-helpful at 4:00 on a Saturday. I unknowing parked on the wrong side of the building. When in a purchased 2 bundles of large boxes. The dude hauled the to my car on a cart and the LEFT me load myself. What a jerk. Ive never had such bad service.

Gone here for years, now they insist on way too much info. Why? Because they insist it is corporate policy. Since when? More like more people to put on some robocall list. They already have your credit card, what else do they need? Call corporate to complain... weak sauce.

Beware of helping friends and family by assisting them with payments for U-Haul services, U-Haul will twist that assistance into a legal way to rip you off. If you authorize a one-time payment to help someone in your family or friend to rent from U-Haul if family or friend damages or has an accident or extends the contract or doesnt pay the contract, even though your name is not on the contract with U-Haul because your credit card is on file they will take all debts out of your credit card not the person that signed the contract I find this very fraudulent it happened to me at this location I have not been reversed reimbursed sending a beware out to others I will report this company to the better Business bureau

Tried to call several times and I got was a long phone wait time all I want to do is just pay my bill but I dont think theyre like money Ill get it done when I get darn good ready Ill also be looking for a cheaper place theyre the most expensive in town and theyre not all that great

Johnny was more than awesome, found all the right pieces to set up my hitch and elec perfectly. My only complaint was that (& Im assuming due to Covid) it took MUCH longer to install because he kept getting interrupted to do other things as there was only 2 of them there. JOHNNY is the ONLY reason i gave 4 stars.

Very poor experience. It seems based on the other reviews unless you are lucky enough to get Johnny its a hit or a miss. Complete miss today. Will not return, heres to hoping this is a private franchisee and not the experience Ill have with U-Haul as a whole. I never write reviews, avoid this place.

Manager was very rude.I called to thank a sales person who had helped me the day before . I saw that despite his not feeling well, the salesman was so helpful and professional.So I called this morning to speak with this salesman, Johnny to see how he was feeling and to thank him once again for his politeness and the manager said I couldnt speak to his salesman about personal matters.Very rude. I may never use this location ever again.Wow...just read all other reviews . Wish I had known who I was dealing with.Johnny was great.Hope he is feeling better.

Absolutely terrible, me & my dad rented a uhaul from here thought everything was great until when we dropped it off early after speaking with a girl the night before said it was fine to drop it off early due to not reading contract and asking we were charged 20$ extra for dropping it off early make sure you read there contract before renting anything from them.

These guys are young but very polite, respectful, and knowledgeable! Very happy with our service here. Not many places left in the world that actually want to help and get a customer the best deal for them without being pushy or acting like a used car salesman. Great team here!

This u-haul ripped me off. I have rented a truck here many times with no problems. My understanding has always been that the daily truck rental rate is for 24 hrs. This time I returned the truck after 23 hrs and was charged a $29 late fee because I hadnt returned the truck after 8 hours. Id been asked during the rental for an estimate for when I would return the truck but was told (per usual) that the rate was for a full 24hrs. The office was closed during my estimated return time, I downloaded the app to self check-in but the app was buggy on my phone and wouldnt let me create an account. So I brought the truck back the moment they opened in the morning, 23 hrs into my rental- and was charged a $29 late fee. This uhaul scams people, Im never renting from uhaul again.

I fill propane here mostly and that seems to be reasonable. Better than the tank swaps for sure. Rented a pickup once as well. Staff is nice and made it easy. Truck was clean and ran well.

The guy that works in their only wants to talk about how irritating and complaining his customers are. Bag news!

Try being a little kinder. It goes a long way. You shouldn’t treat people like your doing them a favor.

The employees at this location went above and beyond for us and saved our day! We rented a trailer and first problem we had was with the tow lights. They spent time with us and figured out we had two blown fuses, which they replaced free of charge. After we got the trailer home and started to load, we realized it was too small. We were able to get a bigger trailer and they helped us transfer a few big items from one trailer to the next. Everyone was polite and professional. Next time I need a rental in the Tucson area, this is where Im coming!

No one should rent from this U-Haul location. Sales representative and manager are dishonest. On the day of the rental, the representative stated the charge per mile was .79 cents. However, when I returned the truck I got charged .99 cents per mile. When I told the manager on duty what I was offered at the time of rental, he unprofessionally and sarcastically stated, “you should of paid attention to what you signed at the time you rented the truck if it was different than what you were told. So I can’t do anything for you!” I reluctantly paid the additional charge, but I will never rent from U-Haul again.

I went to pick up some boxes today, Gilbert was very rude and dismissive. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because a couple of days ago I had gone in to pick up boxes and the 2 gentlemen who helped me were very nice and helpful.

The worst place ever. They charged us extra. They told us we wouldnt pay extra if we returned it by a certain time, but they did anyway. When we argued it, they said it was against policy and the woman on the phone literally hung up on us. Expect extra phantom charges. Pay more than you think and than you should. Also they gave us the wrong information on the return date of a vehicle which caused chaos and confusion in the middle of a move. NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS PLACE. They have no integrity whatsoever. Theyll lie and steal from you.

The business practices at this location are nothing short of rapacious. The bottom-feeders that run this location wholly deserve to toil in such a pointless, meaningless existence. The extra charges amount to theft in principle.ATTN: Gilberto Miranda, you may want to reflect on the numerous negative reviews here and consider changing your business practices for the better.

Had a hitch installed here they messed up the wiring sent me to a different location to pick up an ancient trailer to move 2500 miles across the u.s. got stranded with no lights the wiring in the trailer was dry-rotted. Had to visit another U-haul center get the wiring fixed and get a brand new trailer when he inspected the hitch they had not even remove the cardboard under the car

Worst U haul experience. The clerk called the people who were in line behind me, and told me since they were returning the truck they go first. They also asked me an exact address for where Im taking the truck . I work for a thrift store so I never know exactly where I am going to be on any given day. Gilberto the Store manger was kind of snobby and crass, and when we went outside to get the truck he told me I have to park my vehicle somewhere else, meaning an old run down Building next to the Uhaul location. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

Great experience. I was very nervous about using a rental truck for a local move. My main concern was the overall cost. I rented a uhaul van, which worked great for our needs, it was clean and well maintained woth very little mileage. All said and done it cost less than $60, which was far less than expected. The two young men working behind the counter were very polite, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this store.

I had some odds and ends to move that our moving company didnt handle for a short move across town. I went in at 7:30 a.m. and rented a cargo van for the advertised $19.95/day. During the course of chit chat, Moving is a pain, Id rather do anything else, the sales person asked how long I thought it would take. Oh, I dont know, maybe four hours, maybe longer, I responded. O.k., he told me. If you need to extend, just call an hour before and let us know. I looked at the time on the contract: 7:30 a.m. O.k., I said, so thats by 10:30. 10:00 a.m. roles around and were not done. I decided to call and let them know it would be a couple more hours. The operator, Jennifer, said it would be an additional $19.95 for the two extra hours. Obviously, I was taken off-guard. But, I rented it for the $19.95/day. No, she said, you rented for four hours. We went around and around for a while. At no time did the sales person tell me that during the course of our chit chat that by saying I thought it would take about four hours that I was entering into a verbal agreement to rent the van for four hours for $19.95. Jennifer explained that if I had told them that I was going to keep the van for twenty-four hours, then it would have only been $19.95. This was never made clear by the sales person. When I returned the van, I told the manager Gilberto about my conversation with Jennifer and that I wasnt happy that I understood to be renting the van for the day that turned into four hours during the course of an off-hand conversation. He blamed it on U-Haul corporate policy and didnt offer any explanation when I told him the first sales person never explained that I would incur another days rental costs if I went over the four hours. The moral of the story is: no matter how long you think its going to take, tell them you are keeping the rental for the entire twenty-four hour period--its the same price.

Gilbert is a horrible manager and he is rude. He doesn’t treat his customers right. How is he still manager and unemployed needs to happen hes not fit to be manager there

Bought a table that wouldnt fit in our car. Rented a small truck that worked well. The staff were quick, the cost was less than having the table delivered, and there were no surprises.

The employees went out of their way to make sure my rental truck and dolly were in tip-top shape and available. They were great!

Made my moving so much easier. I rented a moving van for an in-town move and the attendants were courteous and helpful.

They will not return my deposit even though Ive spoken to them multiple times, even went in the store and spoke to them, and each time they said it would be there in a few days yet its been two weeks and still nothing so I called customer service and they said there wasnt even a refund pending! Well this one like the others seemingly to always to have communications problems amongst their store branches. Told one thing got another The No Idea Story.Equipment not ready or even there as told would be. Over internet presale or purchase wasnt honoured. Was transferd to another location for proper equipment. But they were courteous and friendly. Thorough and precise about making sure we get the right truck for the right need. Even if it wasnt there from them. Otherwords to just get you out the door asap and on yourway moving forward.

Horrible experience with the most unfriendly phone operator. I couldn’t even get a rate quote or a range. The rep even refused to get a supervisor on the phone and just hung up.

Dont call it a buy back guarantee if you need a receipt. Thats called a return.
