Tire Choice Auto Service Center is definitely the place to go for any of your mechanical needs on your vehicle. I can honestly say the service was phenomenal and and the pricing was extremely reasonable and affordable which definitely beats the car dealership ship prices for both parts and services. Mr. Kevin Johnson and his team of mechanics were very professional and their customer service is beyond PHENOMENAL. Superb knowledge on the mechanics of your vehicles in which you will not be disappointed. I called Kevin the same day my vehicle had issues of overheating which was mid day and Kevin immediately assisted me and told me to bring my car in to their shop! He immediately knew what was wrong, ordered the part and had my car running again with no issues within two days. It took two days because of the parts shipment but once it came in, the part was installed right away with no hiccups. Thank you Kevin and your team for taking excellent care of my car and mechanical needs. Tire Choice will definitely be my go to shop for any mechanical issues I may have in the near future. If I could give 0 stars I genuinely would. This place is terrible and careless. I went to switch wheels.. the owner had told me to go get some lug nuts from autozone, I did then came back for the mechanic to switch them out. He said they would be fine and it would drive good. I joked about it falling off then later towards the night I was doing a u turn going about 10 mph or slower and my right wheel literally flies off through the lug nuts. My gf was in the car with me and was super scared and I was in shock cause I didn’t know what had happened at all. Then I let the car slide more to the right to get out of both lanes while one of my wheels were completely off the car 5 feet away and my frame was sliding in the front right. Thankfully not all wheels came off at once because they easily all could have. But this place is actually terrible. They’re also super scummy people and I pray this place gets shut down. Please think twice about coming here. They deserve to lose all their business without a doubt in my mind after that.

I stopped in the Tire Choice store #1634 at 8303 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in San Diego, needing a tire rotation. I was cheerfully greeted by store manager Ulysses Morales. He let me know that all technicians were busy right now and the soonest that one would be available would be in about 15 minutes. To my surprise, in only 5 minutes time he had my car out of the front parking lot and on the car lift, 5 minutes later I was on the road. I received top notch service in record time. My thanks to Ulysses and his excellent crew. I will be taking all my auto need to Tire Choice in the future.

I called this location at 7:30 am to ensure they had time to test my car. They said “bring it in.” When I arrived at 7:40am they explained they would test my car within the hour. At 9:30am I had to call and they hadn’t even touched my car yet. And on top of that they wanted to charge me $35 to test the car. American Tire Depot down the street tested and balanced my tires for free. Do not make promises you cannot keep. If you couldn’t get to my car for a couple of hours do not promise you would test and call within an hour. I did not appreciate you wasting my time. Completely unnecessary.

I purchased 4 tires and a 3 year alignment from this store for my daughters car. I asked what paperwork she needs to bring when she comes back. I was told none, they have the car information. Today she went in with an appointment, and was told they have no record of the alignment. We now live in LA, so its not a quick trip home to grab the receipt to prove something I was told we didnt need toprove. So dishonest, or are you just taking advantage of a young girl? Whatever the reason your lack of ethics is reason to never go here.Update- took the car to another shop and it needs a set of 4 new tires. Happy to give our business to a different shop.

The manager, Gustavo, is a gem. I discovered a screw in my newly flat tire while having my two young children in the car and was no where near home at the end of the day. I called to see if they could fit me in before they closed and Gustavo stayed open to help me out. Another gentleman with a flat arrived a moment before me and received excellent service as well. Its refreshing to find a store that puts customer service first, and treats customers how they themselves would want to be treated. Thank you for making a stressful time an easy fix!

My truck lacked some major TLC so I brought it in for service. We had a list of things that we knew needed to be done and waited to see what the manager, Gus, recommended. He came back and was spot on with no up sells. He also provided us with a list of minor things that would eventually need to be done but that we could do at home if we wanted to, to save us some major $$. Thank you Gus for being so honest. Found my car with a run flat today, made my way to Costco and to my dismay......Costco was no help with repair or replacement. I googled tire repair near me, called a few places and found Tire Choice. They were excellent in their explanation, price and service! Gus was awesome and repaired my tire! Two thumbs up for tire choice in Tustin!

Been coming here for almost a year now. Very easy to get something done. Theyll suggest things as needed.Dont expect them to point anything out unless youre paying them. They dont top off fluids and I rarely have seen them rotate my tires even though they say they do.

I have been to this location before and had a great experience. This time the ownership has changed, but the service has even improved. Gustavo, the manager, was very helpful and professional. He didnt just ring up the transaction, but took time to look at the vehicle with the mechanic and paid attention to details that I would have otherwise missed. I can tell he cares about his customers and their vehicles. Mine is an high mileage mini-van but I trust he will help me keep it running for a long time. Prices are very competitive too.

Cant really give an honest rating about work. But I can about about my experience. I took my car in Sunday when they opened. I was given an approximate 2 hr time frame for oil change and other services I wanted done . They said that there were other cars from the night b4. When they called me it was 1230pm saying I was next. But I had to cancel because I work and my car wouldnt ready in enough time for me, to make it on time. The gentleman was nice about it. But dont think I will be going back. I think theyre short staffed. Just an opinion/observation.

Wouldn’t recommend anyone go here. Came in to get 2 rear tires installed and they didn’t even balance the wheels. Car was wobbling like crazy til I realized the 2 rear tires weren’t balanced at all. Had a great experience with Tire Choice. I needed to have 8 tires mounted and balanced, with the added complication that I needed to swap the wheels that they were already mounted on. Nick gave a very reasonable estimate for the service and the team completed the work quickly and professionally. The tires were fairly low profile (40 aspect ratio) and the team at The Tire Choice mounted and balanced them without any damage to the rims. They also helped me load the wheels and addressed all the issues that I had asked about. I would recommend the team at The Tire Choice and will be back in the future for services.

Such a terrible experience that I simply walked away! Went in asking for a standard oil change and was told my car requires synthetic. I explained that according to the dealership and the operating manual standard oil is fine. I was told he would have to check the computer and go by what the company recommended. That he doesnt go by what anyone tells him! Forget that noise! I walked away and will NEVER go back.

This place is in the old Good Year building, but its Tire Choice now. The day before Thanksgiving I got a huge nail in one of my tires that I discovered after work. The manager who was there, Nick, went out of his way to help me get back on the road so I could go see family for the holidays and leave on schedule. On top of that, it only took them about 30 minutes to get me in and out the door! Totally recommend.

This was my first time visiting Tire Choice & I have to say everyone was as friendly as can be.Gustavo (GUS) was so efficient and helpful. I needed 4 tires and he took the time to go through which ones were better based on my vehicle. He mentioned that my car might need an alignment after the tires were mounted. He explained the alignment procedure and showed the “tow-in” & “tow-out” report.... We ended up getting 4 tires and an alignment and would absolutely recommend GUS to anyone.... I’ve been coming to this shop for years before the ownership changed and there’s a reason I keep coming back. The guys here are super efficient with figuring out what’s wrong with my car and making sure to get it repaired in a timely manner. I was in today for to replace my back brakes and have my fuel injector cleaned out and was super happy with the results. Jack was super communicative about what was needed and how long everything would take. It’s hard to trust auto shops these days but this shop is reliable and honest. My experience with this tire shop was great. I came with a nail in my tire and it really was an emergency because I had a road trip planned ahead. You don’t want to drive hundred miles with a nail in your tire. Jack was really helpful and knowledgeable in explaining the procedure, however, the best part is that the nail didn’t go all the way to damage the tire! In less than 10 minutes everything was done without any charge 👍🏻

Nice! Honest! Cheap, in my case FREE! I had a loud rattle under the car, figured it was something related to the muffler. The mechanic took my car for a spin, and It was the muffler guard. They rustled up 2 larger washers and rebolted it back up. OK, it took maybe. 5-10 min., but still how many shops would have charged $25-40 anyway? So happily surprised.

Customer service leaves much to be desired... sales push on the cheaper products... completely unhelpful after you purchase the product... when asking for help with warranty covered issues they do not research your warranty information instead give vague responses such as they need to see the tire to know if its covered under warranty ....Im under the impression that the condition of the tire is irrelevant if its covered under warranty ... if Im wrong neither the employee or the manager bothered to inform me otherwise

My review goes in length but I’ll summarize. DO NOT GET THIER CREDIT CARD, expect to wait a long time, and expect them to be careless and not even put your tires back on properly as to maintain your rotation schedule (front tires be put back on the front and rear tires to go back on the rear).This shops main goal is to get you to sign up for the good year credit card. Their is one guy whose sales tactics are smooth but misleading. He’s the only one that appears to be helpful and knowledgeable but will always slide in that sales pitch, “while you’re waiting for your inspection do you have an ID to get you started on our good year card?” See he doesn’t ask you if you’d like to take out a credit card, this is a pressure sales pitch. Don’t fall for it. He seems nice but that kind of sales pitch is not clear and some people may fall for it not fully understanding what they’re signing up for.One of my biggest problems with his sales pitch and tactics was that he made several sales pitches before even finishing the evaluation on my vehicle. What if my car didn’t need a lot of work done? Why would I take out a credit card if I don’t need a lot of work or financing and just let the 6 month interest free promotion expire? If when I really need it, that promotion period will be over and whatever I charge to it I’ll be stick paying nearly 30% APR (this APR is provided in the booklet by the waiting furniture area). He will tell you it can save you money on oil changes ($5) and you can have 6 month finance interest free. What he doesn’t say is that the credit card comes with a nearly 30% APR...that’s awful.Service wise, they had me wait nearly 3 hours and once I told them I didn’t want any work done because I had already waited so long and had other obligations for the day, they told me I’d had to wait an hour until a guy came back from lunch to out my car back together. This was questionable and felt like retaliation. Either way, I waited (4hours total for a rotor inspection) and I noticed that they put my tires back on out of order. I had just had my tires rotated the week before and my rear tires had brake dust, so when they put my tires back in they had put my passenger rear in the front and the drive side front tire in the rear. I told one of the mechanics and he laughed knowing they had messed up. Now being a tire shop they should know the importance to keeping tires rotated as to maintain the life span and even wear and tear on them. Very poor service.More on service, they had told me I needed new hoses and fluids flushed like coolant and others. I was in a car accident in mid August of 2018, where as part of the repairs they flushed all..ALL of my fluids and when I told the older man that, he seemed a bit dumbfounded and only said that well I still need new hoses. Either way that’s suspicious. So I understand every business needs sales and will pitch you. But this shop doesn’t appear to be honest and doesn’t even provide decent service. I was worried what else they took apart from my car and didn’t put back right. I didn’t ask for all this inspection I just asked for my rotors to be checked.

My 2015 Mazda 6 was having some promblems with the brakes and rotors. I called around a few places and everyone was trying to charge me just to take a look at my car. Here at Certified Tire & Sevice they were willing to examine my car free of charge and give me an estimate pretty quickly. The Store manager kept in constant contact with me throughout the day to update me on my repsirs.They were much less expensive than a couple other places I called so that was great. They replaced my brakes, rotors, and able to shave down my back rotors so no need to replace them. Overall a great experience from customer service to the repairs. Left the lot feeling great and my car appreciated it as well.
