We were driving from Fort Worth to Tyler and lost an ignition coil about an hour outside of Tyler…in no man’s land on the interstate. It was mid afternoon on a Friday. They were winding down for the weekend when we limped in.Their tech confessed to cleaning his tools and getting ready to head out. The owner ( Rick) and his tech could not have been more helpful and kind. They got us fixed and out the door within an hour!If you drive European and live near Tyler…it would be your mistake to go anywhere else.

Rick and mechanics are great! Always have time for me and my Evoque Ive had a turbo replaced all the batteries (yes theres more than 1 on my car!) and brakes done here over the last few years. I only go to him for oil changes and he always has time to answer all my questions no matter how dumb.

So utterly impressed.Knowing as little as I do about the inner workings of a car, you depend on the skills and recommendations of a car specialist/mechanic and are completely at risk of following ill advice. Euro spec has prevented this several times in our short ownership of a preowned vehicle. We had been quoted multiple times by a dealership in town regarding recommended car repairs, one for $2k and another for $5k. Each time we came to Rick for a second opinion. Both times he and his team saved our bottom line. He inspected our vehicle free of charge and told us these items are either not real or not necessary to address at this time. How can you beat that? What was a $7k massive endeavor became a nothingburger and a life lesson. Truth be told, you honestly cannot trust these dealership service quotes during these times. My recommendation is to get a second opinion by someone you trust.A different vehicle purchase also underwent a very positive experience at Euro Spec. They basically did a thorough post purchase inspection of the preowned car, concluded that its in great shape except for the tires and minor cosmetic damages. We got the oil change and changed the tires.Their waiting room is clean and modern. A couch is available for seating during the wait.You can expect honest quality work at Euro Spec. Just because you own a fancy vehicle doesnt mean you need to settle for getting ripped off. No thanks. Come here and have confidence the recommendations are what you actually need. We definitely will.

I took my Mercedes E350 for an oil change. Personnel were prompt and attentive and my car was serviced promptly. This is my shop of choice for maintenance and repair.

David and His wonderful crew always been professional and very respectful and they are fare with the prices. I have been there twice, one was to see what was wrong with my car. And David called me back and he had great news to tell me the only was wrong with my car, was my key. And some mechanics will rip u off, and it will be something minor with your vehicle and they will charged u something high, but u dont know as a customer what is wrong with your vehicle, and they will charge u and ripped u off big time, and they may tell u its the engine and it will so simple but a starter. But the customers will not know that they got played and rip off financially. But, I truly thank God for David and His crew was honest and fare and they do the job right. And my 2nd time, was getting my oil changed on my BMW, the price was great and I did not have to wait long, while my car was getting an oil change. I have been very happy with their services, and I will be back again, I trust David and His crew with my vehicle. After my car sat for 3 months due to a seized turbo assembly, and having it in another shop that couldnt repair it, Euro Spec not only fixed it, but fixed it in less than a week! My car is now as quiet as it was when it was new. And it is as quick as ever.Getting shops to work on my VW TDI is difficult because parts are hard to source since the car was discontinued after I bought mine. Having Rick and Euro Spec in my back pocket for helping me keep my car in tip top shape is a huge stress reliever for me. As it would turn out, the starter on my vehicle was dying, and I brought it to Euro Spec to diagnose the problem and to fix a previous oil change that Royal Lube managed to botch.Rick and his guys did an amazing job. Rick has serviced my fathers Porsches along with my BMW’s and now my Volkswagen for the better part of two decades. I have never been disappointed with any of the work to any of my vehicles and the work was always done in a timely manner.

Literally the most honest mechanic shop I have ever been too. Doesnt try and charge you to do pointless repairs. We took our 2013 bmw 5 series here twice and repairs were done for a better price than any other quotes we had gotten. He gave us his honest opinion and told us not to get all the work down on our car which totaled over 5k and to get rid of the car. Best decision we made in stopping by this shop. We are long time customers now. I recommend them to anyone period.

Call to see about getting breaks changed on front of a 2016 range rover and after the price they told me and my mechanic friend was listening we was like WOW.Its sad how companies get away with basically robbing people and the rich and snobby people in this sad town just go ahead and pay it.500$ for breaks on basically a car that is a ford.So myself have done 4 break jobs before did it myself and it was the easiest Ive ever done so this place is full of shxx

Took our “new to me” 2010 LR2 HSE for diagnosing of A/C problem, tires, and air filters... Not only did the gentleman fix the AC, but also found serious leak in brake line and found dirty fluid in line... I had brakes done 6 months ago at a local shop... I was grateful the found and fixed the leak... and surprised that he encouraged me to to go back to place where brakes were done and have them flush the line properly. Additionally he encouraged me to shop around for tires, as his prices are slightly higher!! I was pleasantly surprised By his honesty. He knew I was prepared to spend thousands of dollars to bring the car up to safety performance standards... he did the work his shop needed to do and educated me on how to get the best value for my dollar while meeting my request for safety!! We highly recommend this shop !!

I used Euro Spec to do an oil change and differential fluid change on my VW. The waiting room is nice and spacious and they completed both services in a timely manner. I was planning a vehicle purchase from a dealership nearby (J&L Auto) and needed someone to inspect the car. I found Al Hafner while looking for European car repair facilities in the Tyler area. Despite living about 2 hours away, in the Dallas area, I called Al and found a fantastic resource with deep expertise in foreign car repair. We handle everything over the phone and Al provided continued updates about the car. After the pre-purchase inspection was completed, he gave me the rundown of everything in an articulate and professional manner. This repair shop is great and well worth keeping on the short list.

I love this place. I have used Al Hafner Tuning for probably 11, or 12 years. I was a bit apprehensive with the change in ownership, but that was a needless concern. I took an X5 in for a water pump, which as you all know, is not the most fun task you can perform on a BMW. Its a heinous, awkward, miserable mechanical chore for any service tech, and nobody but NOBODY likes replacing them. Rick and his guys got it done inside a day, without complaint (at least no indication that I could hear), and had my beloved Bimmer up and running in no time. They also replaced and registered the seven year old battery, saving me a trip to the local dealer. These guys love BMWs, always have, and will take care of yours. They did not give me anything to provide this review. Although I do like coffee cups. Hint.

The staff is super helpful, you can tell that they actually like the cars they work on.My wife had her car in for some work a while back, they identified several issues we were unaware of, after the repairs it drove like a new car.They also document their repairs, and usually have pictures, or the faulty part to show you when you come pick the car up.Its pretty rare to find shop that doesnt feel like theyre trying to screw you every time you bring your car in, this place definitely seems like one of the good ones.
