Im in the construction business and I use East Texas door a lot to people with friendly courteous and very knowledgeable about what they do
ET Door replicated a damaged interior door for me so that I did not have to buy a whole new door assembly. After ordering the door, it took a couple weeks for them to get it and do the mortise work. After installing the new door on the hinges, there were some snags in getting the door to close properly, but a big shout out to Andre for working with me to get the door positioned optimally on the hinges. After transferring the hardware to the new door, it works great, actually better than the old door!
Love this place! For our shoe molding, trim, crown molding and door needs there is no better price, service, or quality. Always willing to help you pick the right thing and answer any questions you may have. We have used them for a few years and will continue to do so, a good group of people and great company to give your business too!
This is THE worst company Ive dealt with building my new home. One of our rear french doors warped after installation. It took over 3 months to get the door in. When they finally showed up it took over 5hrs to install one single door, was only supposed to take two hours. Then they damaged and scratched both doors and scraped up the paint on the frame around the doors. The screw covers were forgotten at the shop so I was told to come by and pic them up. When I went by, I was told they didnt know where they were and Andre wasnt there to ask. So I was told they would mail the screw covers. I asked who was going to pay for the repairs and I was told a manager would call me. Almost a week later, no screw covers and no call from the manager. Save your money and trouble and purchase your doors elsewhere.
Great experience. Good and respectful staff . In and out... Looking forward to next delivery.
Would not recommend! For the amount of money we paid for custom door and windows; I would use a better customer focused company. Window guy Jason sucks at returning phone calls and texts. Door guy Mike was great until there was a problem in that our double door opened on wrong side. They did offer to re-do door but we couldn’t wait a month, nor could we alter messed up door. Manager lady was less than helpful or courteous. Read their reviews before you buy; I wish we had.
Remodeled a house. Called East Texas Doors. Doug came out, measured, made good suggestions, and I ordered the doors. Doors delivered on time and without blemish. All were exactly as ordered. Prices were unbelievably low and the quality was perfect. Im remodeling an office and called East Texas Doors. They make it easy for a non-professional.
They were able to match some old trim that could not be found anywhere else.
Horrible service.. Staff does not follow directions. The door professionals caused me to have to re order. I took the blame for first mistake. Paid for second set of doors cash up front. The half brained women in the office screwed up the second set. They tried to charge me an additional fee for their second set of mistakes. Then refused a refund. Lord willing, I will never use east Texas door again. They stole $350 dollars from me..
Ive used these people for years. They know what they are doing. Great prices and excellent service.
Don’t listen to these people, things happen. No need for a nasty review.
Excellent service and nice variety of products. Newly remodeled showroom and service desk.
The worst company I’ve had to deal with. The salesman name is Jason Myers. He tells me when the exterior doors will be delivered and when they never showed up I call him and finally get him to answe the phone he says they should have been there. He called the driver and said that they won’t answer his calls and then he said that my doors probably got delivered to the wrong house and he asked if I would go the another house and see if they got dropped off at wrong house. So I do go and find the house and talked to the owner and he didn’t even get his doors. I show up at east texas doors the first thing the next morning and they were loading my doors. Csught Jason in a lie about the doors. I talked to the delivery guys and said they never loaded my doors up the day before. They said they weren’t don’t building the doors yet. Again, Jason Myers lied. When I talked to him about it he tried to blame the workers. Myers said that he was talking to a builder in the Tyler area about buying the door company and Jason Myers said he was going to fire the shop guys and the main guy in the shop and his name was Andre. Jason said that the company was poorly ran and he couldn’t wait to take over when his buddy buys the business. So after all the lies over my windows and exterior doors I gave him another chance with my interior doors. I stayed in contact with him and let him know when we would be ready for them. Once we set a date for delivery he said everything was all set. And just like Jason Myers fashion they didn’t show up. He does call me and asked if he could delever the doors the next day and after I blew a gasket and after all that I found out the he didn’t even have the doors built. I had told Jason that I was going to talk to the owner of the company and he freaked out and said that what he told me could get him fired. In my opinion and others I’ve talked to, he is the one who needs to be fired.
Beyond horrible service! Specifically asked for a solid wooden door stain grade. After three weeks the first door was wrong and lied to me saying that it was still prepping. The second door was primed and not stain grade. After that they charged me more money for the third door and would return my money.. I lost over a month waiting for the right door.
Best door company
