Ryan was an excellent resource to help us find the right pieces for the right price within our budget. He has a good sense of design, color, and the merchandise that Ashley offers. He was also sensitive to the current delays in manufacturing and delivery due to the pandemic, and how it might impact what we looked at. Will be back!
Went in looking for a new couch and Miguel was super helpful in walking us through the process. Took lots of measurements, explored other options, and let us go home to measure first before making any commitment. purchased our first couch here 8 years ago and returned because of the service we received and the quality of the furniture. Decided to return again because of the positive experience. We are thrilled that they are keeping with the same practices still.
Just bought an entire houseful of furniture and the service with this company is horrible!!!They scheduled a delivery and never showed up, never called. When I call I just get the run around from everyone. Passed off to 15 people. Kimberly in customer service just told me there is nothing they can do for us!!!! Really??? We spent thousands of dollars. We get a scheduled delivery date from THEM! We take off work make all of the arrangements and then they don’t show up and there’s is nothing they can do??????Stienhafels from now on. Or honestly any other furniture storeI know furniture is tight right now but don’t schedule a delivery and then not show up or call or anything!!!!UnbelievableQuick follow up everyone a week later after the missed delivery. The response on this review makes it look like they care - do not believe it!!!I have responded to every email, etc they have sent but still no resolution!If you want to work with a company with good customer service DO NOT shop here.I’ll keep posting until this is resolved.Ok, my updates do not look like they saved so here is a quick summary:After many frustrating calls finally found someone in customer service that could help. It was my first time at Ashley’s and I bought this gorgeous dining set. The service offered was impeccable! The staff were polite and answered all our questions. I love how beautiful and reasonably priced this place is! Will be buying lots more in the time to come!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!My wife and I bought a bed and a mattress. They told us deliver was a week later. It has been three. They are unable to figure out how to deliver the both at the same time. They charged me incorrectly. The only people you can get a hold of is corporate. You are unable to get in contract w/ the store. Left numerous messages and hear nothing. NEVER GOING TO BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN!
Knowledgeable mattress staff but you shouldnt have to take out a 2nd mortgage to buy a mattress or have to finance it. When the salesperson has to go back and ask the manager about discounts, it was very reminiscent of buying a used car. Couldnt wait to get out of there.

NEVER buy anything from Ashley Furniture. They have messed up my delivery 4 times and refuse to give any sort of refund. Not to mention the delivery service arriving later than the three hour window every single time. The customer service agents are rude as hell, promise you call backs and never follow through. The store I purchased from has not answered the phone ONCE in the five weeks I’ve been trying to call to sort this out. Stay away from this place.
Ryan was super helpful and easy to work with. I bought a tempurpedic mattress at Ashley because they have the longest 0% financing that I’ve seen, 60 months. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a mattress.

Tim R. at the Vernon Hills location was the absolute best sales associate my husband and I have ever worked with. Tim went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, explain our finance options in depth, and take the time to show us different types of financing and what our payments would look like depending on which option we chose. We also came in pretty late, and he was in no rush what so ever. He was very positive and easy to work with. He also was helpful on another order we purchased from a different Ashley location. All in all, this is the guy to work with. Ashley furniture, you are lucky to have a guy like Tim!
Do NOT go to this store. We ordered a couch in March. Got it in May and it came ruined. Used. Disgusting. They told us a few weeks we’d have a new one and gave us $100 off a $1,000 couch...come July the “new” couch came with DOG HAIR AND A HOLE IN IT. No one answered the phone at the store and customer service said it wasn’t their problem. Save your money and get a nice new couch at a good store, Ashley furniture sells used furniture for new prices.
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! This store has the worst costumer service skills I ever seen. They were very nice when your spending your money but as soon as they know they screw up it’s like pull teeth without lidocaine. We purchase a bed from Ashley’s Vernon Hills and after waiting 3 months for the bed it finally came the head of the bed was different from the foot. My husband and I spend numerous time calling and visiting the store for them to correct their mistakes. To make matters worst they send us a bill after we return the bed. We have called the card company and let them know that the furniture was returned to the store and they started that the store has to put in the return was complete. Over a month since we return the bed and they still have not processed or complete the return. If I could take this one star away I would.

I am following up on my second review below (this is now my third). I am not going to waste my time going into details because it is just so frustrating. If you actually want the furniture you are buying to be delivered, go somewhere else. My furniture was supposed to be delivered in March. Finally got a hold someone, was told it would be delivered in May. Today I was told July. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with Ashley Home Store. I have asked for my order to be cancelled, for a cancellation notice to be sent to me and a full refund to my credit card. I hope the person who reads these reviews will help me process my cancellation and refund.———— second review below——————————I previously left a review about my shopping experience while at the store. It wasn’t the best, but I liked the furniture I bought so whatever. My furniture was supposed to be delivered between 4-6 weeks, we are at 6 weeks and no sign of my furniture. I call the store and nobody answers. Call customer service and they are useless. So when will my furniture arrive? Apparently nobody knows or can help me. I unfortunately discourage anyone from shopping from this store. My parents bought furniture at the same time I did and theirs did get delivered within days; however, it was the wrong furniture and what they did get right, was not the correct number of pieces. It took 3 days of customer service calls, many pictures sent to various emails, 4 different deliveries for them to finally get the furniture they bought. When calling customer service about their issues, one representative even said “I can’t help you, I’m working from home”. Wow, just wow. I am hoping someone from Ashley Furniture will see this and help me get my furniture or a refund.

Tony at the Vernon Hills, Illinois location went above and beyond when helping our family pick out new furniture. He was so helpful with his suggestions but not pushy. He also has a great sense of humor and kept us laughing. Tony was patient even though I walked us through the store lots of times. I would definitely recommend Tony for all of your needs and I will definitely be going back for a new tv stand and end tables soon! Get in now while their anniversary sale is going on and take advantage of the great prices.
I visited Ashley Home Store yesterday in Vernon Hills and had a terrible experience! We’ve purchased furniture from here and other furniture stores and have never had the price given to us changed right before we paid. The manager also was charging us more for delivery for no apprentice reason! I will never shop at this Ashley and am now considering buying my bedroom set that I wanted from here at another store!

DO NOT buy furniture from this location!! I ordered a sectional and bedframe in April. The bedframe was supposedly in stock. Recieved the wrong couch and a bed without hardware in July. Finally got the bedframe put together in September and its the wrong bed too. We were told the couch wont be fixed till the end of October. We have wasted so much time making calls, texts, and visiting the store on this! Shop somewhere else!
Very frustrated.We paid in full for a sectional on April 27, 2021. We were quoted approximately 45 days (month and half) for delivery due to Covid, were all in this together, supply chain, etc. When we checked on the status after a month we were told end of June. Fine, close enough. When we checked a week ago we were told end of July.I wonder if theyll tell me end of August when we check in a few weeks.If your supply chain is so flawed that you cant hit a target within 10 business days... dont accept payment in full. Frankly, I feel like there is a degree of theft to this business practice (time value of money and all), but Im sure that even if I managed to get a customer service rep on the phone Id be told theres nothing we can do. Global supply chain. Covid. Thanks for buying a couch. Our CFO says well get it to you when the Fed increases interest rates.If you are considering purchasing from here (or presumably any Ashley), recognize that their estimated delivery dates are flat out made up.
If we ran our business like there’s we would be out of business. Careful they charge you even if they don’t deliver on time and you get tired of the games. That’s correct they will charge you to cancel your order even if it’s a month later and they don’t answer the phone so you have to drive back to the store to speak to anyone. I normally don’t write reviews and pretty understanding but when things are handled this poorly doesn’t feel right not to let other know. There’s a reason there Yelp Review is a 2.5!
Furniture is decent. There are some beautiful products here. But beware. If you are looking for a store where the salespeople will communicate with you and keep you up dated on your orders then stay away. These are your typical hurry up and get the sale, then forget about you, type of salespeople. Backorders with furniture are a normal occurrence these days. But when there is no communication, no heads up about changes in delivery dates or no ability to reach the store then that becomes a horrible buying experience. Anyone doubt me, then try dialing Ashley in Vernon Hills. Youll never get a person on the phone. Now imagine that silence after you spent about 5k and you have had delivery dates change 6 times in 3 months.
Prepare to be disappointed!The sales people at Ashley in Vernon Hills are nice enough. We spent over $3000 on a mattress and bed. We paid for everything and ordered everything over 2 months ago for delivery on May 1, 2021. We specifically choose items that the sales people guaranteed would be delivered on May 1. No surprise, no mattress was delivered. No one from Ashley contacted us and told us the mattress was not available until late June...maybe. Kind of tough to sleep on a bed with no mattress!!! The worst parts were: ZERO communication and when I called multiple times yesterday to try to resolve the situation, I was hung up on 6 times and a “manager” was guaranteed to call me back and surprise surprise (not) NO ONE every called me back! NEVER GO TO ASHLEY! Unless you like terrible customer service and no communication.

Poor service I placed an order in august and my order is still in process over 2 months and still not received yet. They keep changing the estimated dates.
IMPORTANT INFO, READ REVIEW BEFORE BUYINGIts close to 6months since we ordered and still no accurate information on when the items will be delivered. In fact in the last 6months I haven’t received a single call from Ashley for any updates or delays regarding the order. In one of the calls the representative said there are pending orders from a year and half that still haven’t been delivered yet. Worst part is that they are not willing to expedite the order, and they keep saying that they will do absolutely nothing to get it sooner. They are neck deep in water right now but still all of the representatives in store say “oh it takes about a month to get it”Bottom line: Don’t fall for it, not worth waiting 6months to 2years just for furniture.
We bought a bed frame and box spring from the store, everyone was helpful, accommodating and very polite except for the sales person who we had the transaction with. We don’t know if he is having a hard day that Sunday afternoon or he is just being rude. We have been asking him nicely with very minimal inquiries but he would not give us appropriate responses that I have to repeat/rephrase all my questions. He was impolite and would not explain further. He was very impatient to us and would show dismay. We tried to wait for other sales person but he was the only one available that specific time. We did not even take time in choosing the bed because we went to the store with a good idea on which one we should get but we still ended up buying from Kevin K from Vernon Hills. We don’t want to waste time and just wanted to buy that bed since the waiting time for delivery is like 6-8 weeks.

I purchased a table from the Vernon Hills, IL location and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I bought this table in full 3 months ago and still dont have it. Every time I call the date gets pushed back. I call for updates and get hung up on. I have no clue if I am going to actually receive this table. Initially when I purchased this table they said I would have it within 3 weeks. I wouldve never purchased this table from them if I had no clue when I would get this.

Had a horrible time scheduling the mattress delivery, almost 2 month delay, the delivery was canceled a few times, so much miscommunication were going on. Was absolutely unable to get a hold of customer service and corporate to escalate and expedite the issue.
Had a HORRIBLE experience scheduling delivery and getting a hold of customer service. First, my shipment was delayed by two months and I was never communicated with. I could never get a hold of my sales rep via phone or email, and no one would pick up the phones most times I called the stores. The wait for the central customer service line was also often between 15 and 90 minutes. I scheduled my delivery, and the DAY BEFORE it was expected (after I had already taken time off work), was told it was rescheduled to that Friday. Then, when I called back, was told again that the shipment was further delayed into the warehouse. I understand shipments being delayed due to COVID, but the lack of communication is ridiculous. I have shopped at a number of low- to mid-range furniture stores, and the lack of communication is uniquely horrible at Ashley. I will not be shopping at this store in the future, and recommend you do the same.

I would have given no stars if they would allow!Bought a living room set back in November. Sofa took 3 months to get delivered. It’s now going on 4 months and still haven’t received our 2 reclining chairs and 2 end tables. Called them today and their telling me it’s going to be another month for the remaining items.The original purchase date was 1st Saturday in November and they told us everything will be delivered before end of December and it’s on the purchase order as well.I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING ASHLEY FURNITURE UNLESS YOU HAVE NOTHING BUT TIME TO WASTE TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY AND OR WAITING ON HOLD FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME WHEN CALLING THEM!What a joke of a company! Tried to cancel the rest of order and they want to charge me restocking fee. I have spent close to $3000 worth of furniture here in the last 2 months as I am fully re furnishing my home. I will say that the furniture is beautiful and every piece I have received so far I have been very happy with. The customer service, however, is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Just last week I was supposed to have an accent cabinet delivered to my house...I had someone call a few weeks prior to inform me that the item made it to the warehouse and we set a delivery date for Tuesday June 29th and on that day no one ever showed. When I called i was told there was a mistake and the item will not be at the warehouse until end of August. Why no one had the courtesy to call and tell me this? I have no idea. I set my whole day aside to be blown off. I am awaiting one more furniture item which was supposed to be delivered to my house this Friday and when I called to confirm I was told there was a delay and I will not be getting said item until Monday. Again...no one calls to inform me of this. At this point i then got in my car and drove to the location where i bought my furniture from which is 30 minutes from my house and a very polite woman said that the item is estimated to get to the warehouse on the 12th not delivered to my house....do these people not know how to communicate properly? . I ended up cancelling my order for the accent cabinet and bought the exact same thing from Darvin Furniture and they had it delivered to my house in 1 week without fail. I also ordered a signature design by ashley coffee table from amazon that shipped to my house within 2 weeks but on the ashley furniture.com website it says on back order for 3-5 months. I do understand that many things are on back order due to COVID but I am not understanding why it takes this furniture store exponentially long and other furniture stores such as Darvin can get me my furniture in the timely manner it should. Also every time i have called their customer service line they are extremely unhelpful. I think most of these people work from their homes as the last few times I called i heard a TV in the back ground and a baby crying....how incredibly unprofessional. I have spent thousands here and I have had my eye on the Hillcott 8 drawer dresser for a few months now....but at this point i am going to see if I ca find it elsewhere as I am no longer wanting to do business with Ashley furniture directly after my last item gets delivered...what a shamealso when someone leaves a poor review...ashley furniture responds and tells them to text a number or send an email so that their conerns can be expedited I have texted this number in the past and it is extremely unhelpful....so please do not waste your time in telling me to do that again.
Miguel was so kind and helpful. He helped me get approved for financing the furniture I wanted. All the furnitures at Ashleys are beautiful and made with good quality materials. I felt I had a good deal. The furniture I wanted was on sale and I get to finance for 6 months with no interest rate. The furniture is getting shipped for free directly to my home.
The help was wonderful I got everything I walked in there for and more. Great Customer service was Provided Throughout the store.

We came in looking for a table that we saw on the Ashley website. We did not see this table in the store. Asked the person behind the desk about it. She asked if we knew the model and we said no. She said if she did not know the model she couldnt do anything for us. We then asked cant you look it up online? She said no and handed us to another person who also refused to look up the table on Ashleys own website. So we ended up looking up the table for them on our device. To which they replied well we dont have that table. The fact that we had to look up a product that Ashley has on their own website for the Ashley sales people is freaking insane. We went to Bobs Discount also in Vernon Hills. Completely differente experience, great customer service, very helpful. We have our new table.

Sorry, I really regrate shopping from Vernon hills store. I got my ordered deliver damaged and your third party delivery company not even reported properly. I waited a week then called customer service and nothing was in their system to confirm that customer received damaged stuff and I had to explain over and over same thing to different customer representative till you find one good one who would listen to you otherwise they all will refused to help you stating we have no authority and can do very little.It has been over two months and I am still waiting for damaged piece to come. Surprisingly there are no coordination among different departments. I received call from their warehouse that your bed will be delivered on such date and when it did not arrive calling customer service did not get help and was told straight nothi g can be done. I had requested many time that my wife is pregnant a d baby is due in few days yet she is sleeping on floor since we had got rid of our old bed to have room for new one. I am still waiting for bed to be delivered next week and shes sleeping on floor using couple of blanket.I even took my complain to store but nobody was good enough to solve my problem instead I had been handed some phone number to call which takes you to same customer service which is useless.I know each store is franchise and if the owner of Vernon hills Ashley wants to save his store its better that he take strict initiatives. In past I had purchased something from Niles store and received decent service from them.Thanks
This Furniture store and its corporate office have THE WORST customer service. We bought a sofa and also the so called Premiere Delivery for $300....NO ONE ever told us they do not move nor take away our old sofa. The premiere delivery was not explained to us. So when the couch came the delivery men would not move our old couch, all they could do is leave the couch ..in the box..in our garage because our old couch was sitting in the same spot we wanted the new couch/sofa..ALSO, the delivery men REEKED of pot smoke. Really professional . I called customer service to complain about the service that was not explained to us..no one offered us an explanation or any help other than for me to call back and have them come back out when WE get the old couch moved out of the way. Thanks a bunch Ashley for offering this Premiere service that is definately NOT premiere ! What happened to making your customers happy by moving and taking the old stuff with you? Just another way to discredit your customers. Not everybody is 20 years old and able to move furniture! Then I called back to get the premiere service charge credited and the gave me a confirmation number. Nobody has called or emailed us with the credit to our account. I called back and a corporate customer service person said to call back the store itself. I called the store and they dont know why corporate wouldnt check on this but she said she would message the finance dept for them to look into it. I shouldnt have to call this often about either of these issues. When you sell youre premiere service you need to train your sales staff to explain it!! Have a copy of the policy to show your customers and have them initial the policy that they understand it. As it is now, I will NEVER buy even a pillow from your store or stores ever again. I will take this credit issue to the Better Business Bureau if it is not resolved.
We found some unique products including a mirror and a bookshelf that we’re planning to use as a plant shelf. The items were also reasonably priced.
We stopped by looking forward to buy a living room set and we left happy knowing we found something we loved plus it was available right away! No long waits thank you Mike for his help!
Customer service is not great ordered a bed for my son it took about 3 months to actually get something delivered after sales person told us 3 weeks after it got delivered it was the wrong item cant get ahold of store to get things figured out only can reach customer service but they cannot do anything other than send a order to the store to have them call me back which is a window of 48-72 hours coming up on third day have not heard anything re-call customer service and was told ill probably have to go into store to talk to someone mean while my 4 year old has no bed got rid of old 1 to put new 1 in its place
Visited the Ashley store in Vernon Hills and found the best selection at reasonable prices in the area. Other furniture stores that were cheaper had less selection and the quality was much lower. The stores that had the same or better quality where 2 to 3 times more expensive.
Jenn any George are both very knowledgeable and friendly. They spend all the time they needed with me. Very clean and sharp looking store. They also have some very handsome products on showcase. What I believe is lacking is the number of associates to assist all potential buyers.
We went into the store looking for a dining room set and bedroom set. We found the dining room set that we had seen online but it didn’t turn out to be the one for us. Lisa was wonderful and very patient with us! She showed us different options and allowed us to take our time looking. She was very good at explaining the financing options. We were able to find a bedroom set that we liked and we are excited for the shipment to arrive! Ashley HomeStore has a good variety of styles. We will most likely return and buy other pieces of furniture from them!
Jenni from the Ashley Home store in Vernon Hills was friendly and extremely helpful in helping me pick out items for my new apartment. Although the company no longer had the couch I wanted in stock, Jenni was able to help me pick out all the additional items such as end tables and accessories. The store itself has a wide variety and a lot of cute items. The furniture doesn’t feel cheap unlike some other places I visited. I especially love that Ashley furniture sells end table/coffee table sets, which helped me save on my budget. You can also find good sales happening throughout the year. Overall, great experience.

I was really happy with the results when I went there. I thought since it was a pandemic going on, it was going to be different. But it exceeded my expectations. For an example, the costumer service was AMAZING. They were very nice and helpful with what I was looking for. The furniture there was amazing and I really recommend other people to shop here. I also liked how they were giving me a lot of options to choose from. I was amazed on how much stuff they have still during this crazy time. I was able to choose style, color, feeling, and extra decorations with it! Like I said, I REALLY recommend this place for furniture and more!
Our visit was extremely positive. On Tuesday we met with Tony a sales rep who was very helpful and was professional and knowledgeable. On Thursday we went back to buy. Tony wasn’t there so we met with Jenni Wild. She too made our visit very positive. She was positive, knowledgeable and very friendly. Because of both of them we made our purchase. We were just looking for a new couch and decided to hit up Ashley. Being previous customers we knew that some of their merchandise met our style. Well, walking in the door we were treated by a very non-pushy woman who helped us find, not only the perfect couch and loveseat, but coffee table and rug.We miss the days of entire room sets, mostly because we can’t ever find anything that matches or goes together. Interior design is not our area of expertise.Needless to say, we are very happy with Ashley and will continue to shop there for all of our furniture needs (not that we have many, but you never know).
Buyer beware. After spending thousands on what we were told couches that wouldn’t peel (faux leather) at all they did, and only after a few years. This is not a great place to get furniture that you hope to have and hold it’s quality unfortunately. Staff was friendly but feel I was pushed into a purchase of something they knew would surly be discontinued because overall quality is not there.

We got a portion of our sectional delivered today by two men...One of them was very respectful, he kept his mask on the entire time and took his shoes off. Unfortunately one of them did not wear his mask! He had it on around his neck and one he saw my husband had his on he pulled it up for 2 mins and then took it right back off! This is highly unprofessional and unsafe. Action needs to be taken towards employees like this, they cant go into a customers house and be completely disrespectful.

I placed my order mid August and they said that it will come in 4 to 6 weeks. They said they will call us as it nears the day of delivery- we never got a call, instead we got an email which we responded to to confirm a delivery of 10/27. We scheduled the day off, no call, no one delivered our items. We called Ashley and they said my item (desk and 4 dining chairs but no table) is already there and ready to be delivered and they say they dont know what happened, but we can reschedule the delivery so we did for 11/05 and they gave an estimate for when my dining table MIGHT be available.So here we are at 11/05, scheduled the day off again. We got an automated call which we confirmed the delivery for today 2 days ago. No one came and no one got in contact with us. I called them and the lady says, she doesnt know what happened again, but my desk is now gone, there was a scheduled delivery that was suppose to happen, but she has absolutely no idea why it never came and to call them tomorrow.Im not mad about your delays, Im mad about the lack of communication.How do think this is acceptable to waste our time, schedule a day off work to wait around for absolutely nothing?Disorganized and suddenly loosing items that they said they had. I really have never had such a bad experience.Update: Dont bother emailing the customer service people that answer you here, they wont reply.
The Ashley representative was really friendly and helpful throughout the entire search and selection process. She was never pushy and gave us space and time to make our decision, but whenever needed she responded right away with all the information requested. The selection and furniture options at Ashley were the best after visiting many other stores, and had very competitive prices. If Ashley keeps this up I will certainly plan on returning for more future purchases.
Amazing service as always! Second time coming in and leaving with a big grin. The team here is easy going and they have great customer service skills. 100% recommend if you are in need of furniture in your home/business.
I do not recommend shopping at this place. Even though the sales associate will help you when you are purchasing. However, once the transaction is over, they do not provide the same service. I was told by the sales associate that the couch would be delivered along with other furniture within a couple of weeks. After a week later, I was told that the couch will be delivered two months later. While other furniture stores were honest and estimated 7-8 weeks, Ashley’s furniture blatantly or ignorantly lied. In addition, when my bed frame was delivered, the headboard was unbalanced/defective, so they had to take it back. When I called to talk to a manager, which took me hours to get hold of someone, she was incompetent and wasn’t willing to provide any answers. She claimed that her system was down and wasn’t able to pull up my order and basically had no interest in providing any accommodations. She said she’s just a manager and had no authority or something. It was a frustrating phone conversation and waste of my time. Why does she even have that title if she’s not going to take any responsibility or provide any details on when the rest of the furniture was going to be delivered. Furniture is decent and cheap, but overall, terrible customer service. Just expect to have sales person help you, but once you pay, that’s a different story.
NEVER AGAIN!!! I purchased a sectional back in mid July... paid in full. I specifically asked if there would be a delay since we’re going through a pandemic, I was told 3-5 weeks... Those 3-5 weeks never happened... I still waited patiently till about sometime late August early September when I got another text saying 12-14 weeks... at that point I asked for a refund. Trisha the store manager at the Vernon Hills location didn’t submit my request properly as Customer service had told me she should have. I should have gotten a refund by October and never did. I’m constantly calling EVERY WEEK to see what’s going on and I get NOWHERE AT ALL! Now it’s December and no one seems to give me an answer nor my money back! I’ve lost time going out of my way back to the location... constant calls etc and now I don’t know what else to do. Trisha always states she will give me a call back with an answer and she did that once within these 5 months. I NEVER leave bad reviews to any business but at this point someone has to answer me! No sectional, no money backWHAT IS GOING ON!!! Very disappointed on a business that states they’re all about customer service.
We have Always had a great experience at the Ashley store in Vernon Hills, IL. The pricing is reasonable and the furniture is fantastic quality.

I ordered a 3 piece couch in September. I was told it would be a longer wait to get it delivered because of covid. This is fine and all, I eventually get told it would be delivered mid November, they come and only have 2 of the pieces and said they forgot to notify me of this. This is fine things happen, I was then told the 3rd piece would be delivered November 23rd. I call to check in because I have not heard anything and they tell me the one piece wont be here until next month and they forgot to call me to tell me of this. They have done nothing to try to fix or accommodate this issue. It wouldnt be a big deal if it only happened once but it happened twice. My couch is still not assembled and cannot be because the piece missing is the middle that connect the two.Edit: I already contacted that email prior to your response. I have not heard anything back

The associate that helped us, Miguel, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I only gave it a four because all of my pieces have to be delivered on different days, but I understand.

I will NEVER buy from Ashley Home Store again!!!!! We went into the showroom at Vernon Hills on March 24th and purchased 2 theater loveseats. Our sales person told us there were 3 in stock, so we would have our furniture by the end of the month (March)!!! End of March came and went without a delivery date. Each time I called to inquire, nobody answered the phone. When I finally did reach someone, they had no answers. Eventually, I was given April 7th as a delivery date. However, of course, April 7th came and went without a delivery. I called again. Again no answers. I asked to speak with a manager. The person answering the phone was not allowed to provide a contact email or number for the manager, so I was told the manager would call me. Of course, I never received a call from a manager. Once again, I called back, waited on hold for 30+ minutes and finally spoke to a person who promised to send my order to ESCALATION - They even gave me a confirmation number. I thought we were making progress. However, I waited another 3 weeks before I finally was given a delivery date. A couple days prior to delivery, we were given a delivery window of 9:30-12:30pm. We rearranged our schedules, took the day off work and waited......12:30pm came and went - no delivery. Finally at 2pm, I called and nobody knew where my furniture was or when it would be delivered. At 5pm, I was finally told that the truck was sent to the far south suburbs today and didnt even have my furniture on the truck. Even though we were scheduled to be the 2nd stop, my furniture was not picked up from the warehouse in Romeoville until 5pm. I live in a far north suburb. With traffic, etc I dont expect my furniture to arrive until 7pm tonight.....oh, yes, Im still waiting. Heres the best part. At 5:30pm, a manager from Ashley Home Store called to say my delivery will arrive between 4-5pm.......WHAT????? She was calling me at 5:30pm. Did she even look at her watch as she was telling me that?? I will never buy from Ashley Home Store again!!!!
No starts.. Had Very bad experience at this location, had picked out a bedroom set, then saw some dining chairs on clearance ask if they where sold separately Sales man stated yes, he confirmes with Manager he states cant be sold separately, even tho no where in the paper states that they cant be. So why have the price of each item separately if you have to buy the set.. Then the Manager George starts to tell the Sales man his messing up, how can you tell your employee that, at least he should of waited until we had left. you dont appreciate your employees.. unfortunately we had to walk out.

We have been loyal customers of Ashley for the past 8 years. Came to the store looking forward to purchasing sofa and dining set. We were helped by Sandra who was very helpful and detailed- outstanding customer service. However, we left very disappointed and without purchasing due to the rude attitude of the store manager - Debbie Blank. We came with kids in tow and 5 mins into the viewing of furniture, Debbie came along loudly expressing her dissatisfaction with our kids for touching & feeling the sofas/tables and for not being close (glued) to us.Our main concern and issue here is with the voice and body language used to express her “ask” ...it was rough & unwelcoming!! The kids were by no means loud or throwing/breaking things! Overlooking the first rude instance, we shepherded kids to strictly stay close and were moving along towards our viewing and yet again Debbie came barreling in reminding that they have to wipe areas/things & it is an inconvenience/extra work when we all do not follow in same line/direction. Let me state, there was a family of 4 with two girls who were all over the place and we did not see Debbie “reminding” them or paying this family any mind. Why? Please be fair and welcoming to all customers…be mindful of your actions. If Ashley / management is bothered with cleaning and for having kids in the store then please clearly state outside your stores that “Kids are not allowed/welcomed here”!Another instance of incompetent customer service and management: when Debbie was asked by her staff for sofa measurements on a specific sofa, without bothering to find out the specifics or offer help, Debbie responded to her staff member stating “not all sofas have measurements”. Really? Is that how you treat your own employees?We will not be returning to this store for any future purchases.
Sadly, our experience with Ashley left us in the lurch with no care or concern to follow through with the services they initially promised. We recently purchased a new tempur pedic mattress and power base, with the understanding that we would also be getting their acclaimed “White Glove service” - the installation of our new products and removal of our old mattress and box springs. We didn’t waste any time with the team at the time of purchase since we knew what we wanted before we came into the store. The team was friendly, however hands went into the air when it came time to be responsible for the promises and services they said they would provide - and that we paid for to be done. Not only was the order split into two separate deliveries (not by choice), but one delivery was 2 weeks late. All told it took 34 days to receive our entire order after the time of purchase. Unbelievable.And then the “White Glove service” was a joke. Two shabby looking delivery guys each time, barely professional, and rather annoyed by any requests that we had. One of the guys asked me to handle the heavy bed with him because his partner was at the truck. I told him I couldn’t because of a bad back and a surgery I had and he rolled his eyes at me before just doing the whole lift himself. When it came time to remove the old mattresses, they said they couldn’t do it because of “health reasons” but of course were willing to take the box springs (in theory probably to sell for some extra cash). We also called the service center, the customer care hotline, and tried speaking to several managers, plus our “Mattress Specialist” who all took no responsibility for any of this and told us “sorry, there’s nothing we can do”. When asked to help, Ashley left us with poor service and still an old mattress sitting in our bedroom. Needless to say, I will not be recommending them to anyone nor will I be shopping there again. Less than 1 star at best.
The shopping experience was very relaxing, no high pressure selling. Just helpful people to answer my questions. I will be sure to go back the next time I’m in need of anything
This store has potential to do well if they would only answer their phone. I understand that there are delays due to the COVID however the sales person for my order never followed up with me. I cannot judge this store for ALL the salespeople there and I will notify the management regarding my sales person who received commission. My order for living room set has been delayed three times since July and I had to drive 20 minutes there to find out the status of my order. I work full time as a teacher and this is not fair to me as a customer. This store has beautiful furniture and if they improved on some of their sales staff and answered their phone, I would gladly give this store 5 stars.
I dont think Ive ever had such horrible customer service. Store does not care about customers. Zero help over the phone. Been waiting 4 months now for furniture. Still nothing. 0 stars really.
SCAM SCAM SCAM…they promise 4-6 weeks delivery which is false and when I try calling the store no one picks up..I’m glad I didn’t pay upfront to deal with getting my money back from these scammers 🤡🤡
I am very disappointed with the couch set (loveseat and chase) that my husband and I purchased as newlyweds a year and a half ago. We can already tell that the wood beam (or frame, whatever you call it) is bending and there is absolutely no support for it whatsoever. Now it makes a loud popping sound whenever anyone gets up after sitting down for a while. It’s such a shame too because I thought these were nice couches for an affordable price. Both of my couches creak like crazy because they lack support.On top of that, I tried to file a claim online through the repair company (covered with our warranty), but I couldn’t because the workers at Ashley in Vernon Hills misspelled out last name and our email. I was told by the lady at the call center that there’s not much she can do because they closed my account. I really do hope that they’ll get back to me soon (I left a voicemail) so we can get these cheap couches repaired.I have heard sooo many negative reviews about Ashley furniture and I know so many people who have had horrible experiences with buying Ashley furniture in the past. This is the last and only time we will be purchasing from them. They don’t care about the quality of their furniture, or about their customers.
They was very helpful in processing the furniture that I had wanted online in the store but the only thing I didnt like was how long the delivery takes cause I need furniture now so I can be comfortable at my home thats why went in the store & had an appointment
Best experience ever!!!!! All hope was lost, I had truly given up on finding the perfect couch. Not even food had given me hope.... then Suddenly but all at once Shannon appeared over the horiZon. Seemingly floating down from the heavens with a beyond perfect solution to our home furnishing dilemma. To be frank, I was once lost, hopeless and feeling defeated but thanks to Shannon I am now found, along with my new couch and love seat.
