Just bought a used Toyota 4Runner from Valentin Garcia. I can not say enough of how easy and fast it was. My wife and I went today to purchase a used 2017 Toyota Camry from Koons Toyota in Tysons Corner. Our salesperson Russell had put aside our vehicle. When we got to the location we were informed that they decided to sell to another person because the transmission was bad. The Supervisor Luis spoke with my wife and I and informed us they were selling vehicles with bad transmissions to people for over $18,000. I was uphauled and disgusted by this technique and left the premises. If theyre informing some customers theyre selling expensive vehicles with bad transmissions then this is NOT a company worth doing business with. STAY AWAY.

I very rarely leave comments on the Internet, but I just wanted to share my experience this time.Krystle was very nice when helping me with my issue so I will keep the 5-star. However this was not a good purchasing experience. I was clear that I will pay in cash when I was buying my 2018 Mercedes C300 at this dealership in August, but they made me sign a finance contract saying that I can take the car home that day and bring my check back within five days and this contract will cancel. I brought the check back next day and thought everything was good, but I ended up not receiving my title for over a month. So I contacted my salesperson by text 3 times, but every time he says he will check with the title department but he ends up forgetting me. Finally I had to contact VA DMV and they told me its showing that I have a loan with this car when in fact I paid cash.Apart from this, the wipers were not working properly on the day I bought the car, and they promised me to replace them. But I had to wait for one and a half month until I went in and got them replaced. My car battery died 10 days after I bought the car and I had to take it to Mercedes to get it replaced. I know this can happen, but it made my buying experience more unpleasant. Everything else was great and Than was very nice and helpful when I went in yesterday to get the wipers replaced, which I really appreciated!

I had an excellent experience with Alex who was patient, engaging and explained everything from the service that was needed to what would be performed on my car. It was a hefty price tag but its driving so much better now - I could tell the difference immediately. Thanks much Koons Tyson’s for your service and when I return I want Alex to assist me. This was my second vehicle purchase from Koons Tysons Toyota. I had a very good experience with Jason. He paid attention to my request and delivered on it rather than try to offer me something different. Although I really really loved my previous 4Runner and hated to let it go, I was ableto get a brand new one and it is beautiful. Timing was definitely of the essence and he was straight forward with me as I was with him. This allowed the process to operate cordial, peaceful and easy. Jason has very good PR skills which is sometimes hard to come by at some dealerships so his professionalism was much appreciated. Vehicle inventory is scarce these days so if you are in the race to purchase a new or used vehicle, go check Jason Harvey out. I highly recommend him.

Scheduled oil change on Tuesday at 10:45. Is 1:06 and I’m still waiting for just a simple oil change of my 2018 car I’ve bought new from them, and no response. This location is known by their minimum 1hr waiting for any service, so if you ever need a basic service from them, stay far from this location.

This Toyota currently has an upcharge they dont include with the list price and I dont like that and find it very misleading. Mr. Castillo was very nice and removed this charge because I wasnt informed about it before I drove all the way out there, and said no to another used car I was planning to buy. Nico in trade ins was awesome and gave me a great trade in price, they even picked up my old car and delivered the new one.

Bought my new to me 2012 Toyota Highlander the same day as I emailed Koons about it. Mark was on top of things from having the vehicle ready upon my arrival (they had just gotten it in the dealership) to answering all my questions from warranties, payments, finance, features, etc. I have a hard time spending money especially on something that I know will depreciate and Mark was honest and patient with me.

When I found a vehicle online at Koons Tyson Toyota I did not know how fortunate I was to acquire an awesome sales representative named Mitch. The truck I was inquiring about was listed without a price or pictures. I reached out to the dealership for information and Mitch was quick to reply. He sent me an awesome detailed video and scheduled me a test drive.My daughter had a soccer tournament in the area and Mitch was so accommodating that he worked my test drive in between games. I had originally posted an excellent review on here but removed it for a couple reasons. We bought a 2017 Toyota Highlander in October of 2020. We went with Koons Tysons Toyota because of their great reviews and the fact that they were selling the Highlander as a certified used car. The first issue we had was when completing the paperwork, we noticed the side panel was missing. Because we did not do our due diligence, we ended up paying for that side panel at the dealership. The second issue is when we went to put the new plates on the car, we noticed that part of where the plate goes was taped up. (Included are the pictures). Again we let this slide thinking this was a one time thing. The third and final straw was when we went to change the tires last week. The mechanic found the tire pressure sensor taped together on one of the tires., which once again we had to pay for to get replaced (Again pictures are included). Upset, we contacted the dealership via email and included pictures and what we were so upset about and have yet to receive any kind of response. We did not expect the car to be in perfect condition when we bought it seeing how we bought it used, but being a certified used car comes with certain guarantees like for example, parts not being taped up. I am posting this review to make others aware to not make the same mistake we made and to make the dealership aware of the situation seeing as we cannot get a response through email.

We purchased a new RAV4 (prime) on Tuesday 8/31. When purchasing the car we were debating if we felt comfortable buying because the sales manager seemed weirdly motivated to sell the car at what seemed too good of a price.One thing in question is that the car, though new, had over 500 miles on it, and had been on the lot a long time - so we felt there must be something that has stopped so many people from purchasing it. Well It turns out now that when purchasing the car we were told a few things that turned out to be false even though we relied on that information when making the decision to buy the car:1) Sales manager told us that the car had only been on the lot for about 5-6 weeks - however after noticing our issue ( discussed more below) I ran a carfax to get the actual info and it was actually closer to 3 months!!! he lied to our faces during the sales process to get the car sold at months end (August 31st)2) Sales manager told us that the reason the car had 500 miles was because they had the car at another store (also Koons) and had to have it driven to Tysons location because they couldnt get it delivered via truck. Well turns out that transfer happened back in June, and that is only about 50 miles away....so obviously that is not where most of the miles came from. Im guessing this wasnt so much of an intentional lie as just pulling this explanation out of thin air without looking into it like he should have. but nonetheless we relied on this information provided to make our choice.lastly, the car was delivered with muddy floor mats, dog hair on the interior, and wasnt detailed prior to delivery. The battery was around a 35-40% charge, and not a full charge as it should be on delivery.***Now for the real bummer: we bought the car Tuesday. and Wednesday it was FULL of condensation across all windows after hurricane Ida came through(see video).So we have contacted the dealer, and they did take action quickly to look into the problem but, of course cannot replicate the issue so they think nothing is wrong, however customer service dept. acted like this wasnt normal. As I explained, they arent going to be able to replicate the conditions wednesday, and thats why I took the video. They have assured me there is no leak, however dont have an answer as to why we are the only people who had this experience.At first - I was offered 3 options1- They will buy the car back at $44,000, I paid over $50k - so I would lose $6k since Tuesday.2- They will consider working on a trade in price, but unknown how much at this time, if I will purchase another new vehicle.3- I can keep the vehicle, since the warranty protects me_________***Update: *** - 9/5/2021 - I went yesterday afternoon to visit the team, pick up the car from service, detailing, and to speak with the general manager - though they tried to get me in front of the general sales manager first, I was able to get some time with the GM, and we had a very good conversation regarding the situation and potential outcomes. It was very clear that he understood peace of mind is what we were buying the toyota for, and this was clear in the updates below on what they feel could be a fair resolution.they are now willing to1- offer a buyback of the car over the next 12 months at $44k if any other issues related to water come up - this is a great peace of mind offer, and appreciate Koonstoyota standing behind their service team’s work2- the trade in offer unfortunately would require the amount we finance to go up by about $1,000-$1,500ish dollars - however we would be able to get into a new Rav4Prime and have full confidence in the new vehicle without potential mileage or history concerns.I greatly appreciate this time and offer, and have updated the ranking to a 3 star ranking at this point.*****I will update my review & posts once resolved to my satisfaction, or if unresolved to dissatisfaction I will help other curious shoppers hear my experience.Last update: Sunday Sept. 5th, 11:01 AM

Very Bad experience, I bought a 2021 camry, and I had tire and wheel, brake problem I call the dealership and I talk to BRAIN FROM SERVICE he kept cutting me off and was VERY RUDE, specially when you asked about repairs that is something, they don’t like that. My car was still under warranty. They give me so much hard to time to even cancel my extended warranty. I had to suffer for months until they canceled it. When I first bought my car they were trying to force me to buy a different vehicle based on my credit score. HOW EVIL IS THAT. If your credit score too good they recommend 4Runner limited. If you score is not as good they recommend Prius. I hope nobody experience what I experienced. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I had a fantastic experience from the beginning with Salesman Mitch. I needed a picture of inside and outside and within moments had a full video made just for me by Mitch. I bought a 2018 Dodge Ram from KOONS Toyota didn’t even have the car a week and issues started with the truck truck was taken into the dealership Aug 28 today is oct 28 they brought my truck back and the issues are still there I have car notes I have been paying and the issue is still wrong with the truck 2 months to get my truck back and issue still not resolved. I spoke to Billy used car manager who was not helpful at all texted him never received calls back this dealership has given me the worst service I have received ever very unprofessional really o wish I could return this truck and never had dealt with this dealership. I am a very unhappy customer . If I was able to rate it as no star I would unfortunately they get a free star !!

The location is very nice and clean. My husband and I were lucky to get John Lee as our sales consultant. He was super knowledgeable and very personable. He actually was able to find us the perfect car! We told him a budget and he was able to find us something under our budget! Our overall experience was wonderful mostly because of John Lee. Buying a vehicle is not and easy thing, gets frustrating, and boring but John Lee tried his best to get us what we needed quick. He also went out of his way to get us lunch! Jason was honest, professional, no haggling-- even when the price online and the price on the lot were discovered to not be the same--- He quickly brought over someone to resolve the issue and they honored the lower website price of the Jeep. He kept it real and made me feel respected, seen and very comfortable. You can tell the type of people that are just there to make a sale --- he is not one of those people. He actually cares about you being happy as a customer even if its not going to produce a sale. A complete professional and stayed in consistent contact with me via text and email before I even came to the lot to see the car (as I inquired first from online) and made sure he answered any questions I had before, and even after the sale. I used their valet service to have my car picked up at home and dropped back off when the maintenance was done.It was easy to set up my regular maintenance through their site and scheduling the pick up time was simple.Everything was done very quickly and I appreciated not having to wait at the dealership.

I was fortunate to work with George who is incredibly knowledgeable about the car purchase process and patient with explaining all the different options to me without being intimidating at all. Some other auto sales agent can be a bit pushy here or elsewhere, especially when it comes to aggressively selling you vehicles but George is the man and he is truly patient and super thoughtful. He walked through every detail of the process even after I bought a car with them to check in if everything is satisfying. 10/10 customer service especially with George!

Great experience. It went fast because we came prepared. Kevin was awesome, he didn’t pressure us and gave us the facts. We hadn’t driven the vehicle off the lot yet and we noticed a scratch on it, and he made sure that he submitted paperwork so that it would get fixed for free. The only complaint that I have is that they are paperless, which is fine, but they were supposed to give me a USB with all of the information and did not provide it.

I spent a few hours last weekend checking out and then purchasing a used car that I found online that was in their inventory. Sales Associate Mark Boyd was very knowledgeable, transparent, patient, and efficient throughout the entire process. Awesome experience. We drove 2 hours from Harrisburg, PA after seeing a car we thought we wanted, but it ended up that it did not work for us. Guy, our salesman, stayed late and found a car that was perfect for our family and in our price range. He went above and beyond. We were signing our final paperwork at 10 pm and the staff was ready and willing to serve, not at all showing any concerns about staying much later than planned. Would definitely recommend.

Came into Koons of Tysons here off of a limb and wasn’t expecting to walk out with a brand new car. How to cheat a VETERAN 101: When I told the salesman I had just come from Afghanistan and wanted to trade in my BMW on something new but wasnt paying more than MSRP, he pulled out all the tricks. Had another salesman pull the window sticker off a flashy Camry, lied and sold me the car for 10k over sticker. (see the picture? That is at the dealer with no window sticker) Had me sign an acceptance form for the price, then when it showed up to the finance office it was 1k more. When I questioned it, I was told it was a service fee they added into the price for convenience. Should have walked away then. Fast forward and I am now 2 weeks away from paying my 2nd payment on the car and 3rd payment on my BMW. Yes, they still havent paid off my trade in, but it is for sale on their lot. They wont return my emails and when I call they say they are working on it and I will eventually get that money back. I have bought cars from at least 20 dealerships over the last 35 years and never been worked over like this. Wolves in sheeps clothing, slick as they come.

Recently sold Prius LE working with Kevin Butler. It was not the first time that I sold a car; but I never imagined that a selling experience can actually be enjoyable and fulfilling—Thanks, Kevin!! He is competent, knowledgeable and responsive. Mine was a complicated case, as it involved a joint title with my son, who move to Philadelphia. Some dealers said that they cannot handle it unless my son comes over; or we make a same day round trip to Philadelphia to get his signature. Kevin single-handedly managed all the complications smoothly. His responsiveness to all my queries (literally texting back within a few minutes) kept me feeling comfortable through the multi-day closing process—which could have brought lots of anxiety.

I was very impressed with the professionalism that was shown in the device department. I have been to many service departments in the past and it is usually one or two guys that are covered in grease and have no organization skills. I was also very happy with how fats you serviced my car. I was expecting at least two hours and you had me out in 45 minutes.

Staff seemed very friendly, advertised what was a fair price in todays market. And I was willing to drive up from southern Maryland to purchase that day. Until the dealership revealed the hidden $7000 dollar markup on the truck. The GM refused to work on the fee. I understand supply and demand with limited inventory, however $7000 mark up is nothing but greed. Would not recommend.

Kept me informed as to the status of my car and it’s repairs. John, my service guy, and Maximo, the service car driver, were timely, informative and professional.
