All of the employees are very helpful and nice. Julie is my favorite. Pretty low traffic store so you don’t spend too much time in the store. Store Set up is easy to pick a color and not take forever.

Customer service not great. Poor communication about matching paint, options and cost vs quality. Able to match paint but wouldn’t recommend for non-professionals.

Bought some paint for a home renovation. It was on sale so saved quite a bit of money. The paint only required one coat (with touching up) because it was such high quality.

Most of the employees have a bad attitude, like they are doing you a favor. I am pretty sure one of them was high the last time I was there. Today, they are supposed to open at 8:00, but one employee was outside at 8:20 telling people that the store wasnt open yet. Go to Vienna Paint instead. Their customer service is always excellent and they sell Ben Moore, which is better paint anyway.

I was having a hard time matching a color I needed for my condo. After failing to accurately match the color at home Depot, I tried Sherwin Williams.I worked with Dan, and he immediately saw why the color and sheen were hard to match. He took his time and we worked through a couple sample colors, we even tested how the sheen looked in doors and outdoors to be sure.Overall, Dans customer service and knowledge were tremendous. Sherwin Williams is my first choice for paint from now on.Great job, Dan.

Horrendous customer service. I went there on a Saturday for the first time. I had a paint chip and asked to buy a sample size in matte paint. The sales person corrected me and said I wanted satin paint. I asked him, Is satin paint, matte paint? He assured me that it was and sent me home with satin paint. He didnt tell me that sample cans only come in satin paint, but assured me that the paint would look the same as the matte sample. It seemed strange, but it was my first time at Sherwin Williams. I had gone there because I wanted hands-on customer service.Of, course, satin is not matte paint. I painted a test spot and it was obvious that the paint had a reflective quality. I went back to the store today to get the right paint. When I explained the situation to another employee, he spoke to me very rudely, acting as if it was my fault that I got the wrong paint, even though I had been clear as to what I wanted in the first place. The only way I could get the right paint was to by a new can. No refund was offered.Needless to say I wont be coming here again.

These people understand what they are doing. They can advise what products are the most suitable for your application and budget. Additionally, the staff is very courteous.

The store rep (Daniel @ Vienna, VA, store) was AWESOME! He was super helpful, patient, and knowledgeable and we really appreciated all of his insights and assistance. The store was clean, organized and well-stocked.

Can you bring back some of the higher quality Duron products like Plastic-Kote? The Sherwin-Williams substitute is nowhere close in quality to the Duron product.
