This location is very nice and clean. At the cashier, they clean the credit card machine after each customer used. Staff is nice well organized.

Great store for all of your container needs. However, they are low on in-stock items. The store doesnt just specialize in containers. They also have items for organization. A lot of the items are spontaneous buys so be careful. This store is 100 times more potent than target lol.

I had studied products on their website, wanted to see and fold/unfold two particular products before buying. The salesperson told me she didn’t have time to help me because it’s the last day of a sale. I’d rate customer service with no stars. The store was neat, spacious, appeared to be clean, but clearly was not interested in my business.

Great place to go to find the right stuff to get organized. Prices in the store seems to be better than what you find from resellers on Amazon. Great selection and good stock of everything. Great for closet organization.

That is what distinguishes custom products from ordinary off the shelf products.Elfa designed closet systems fit and finish are visibly outstanding. Closet systems delivered on time and installation was efficient and flawless.

This is part one for my review of my big purchase. I am working on making a small bedroom into a master closet so I signed up for a virtual consultation to see what kind of ideas I can entertain. Joanna C was my consultant for the session. She was friendly, knowledgeable, insightful, funny, and very willing to figure ways to fit my budget. I was very satisfied with the final version after an hour of discussion. Much appreciation to Joanna for all her help and effort in making my project come true! I like the new location for this store, next to the Best Buy. There is more parking here for than the previous location and getting in and out is easier too.The store is similar to the other location and finding things are easier. Staff is helpful as ever!I like the selection of products this store carris and am able to find most of the things that I am shopping for.Also a good place to find one of a kind unique products that you wish for but are not able to find it anywhere.

Beware which store you go to. The Container Store on Leesburg Pike in Tysons is very poorly stocked. If you are choosing between two, dont go to this one. After going to the Tysons Corner store, I wound up driving to Reston, and I live in Falls Church. I went back about a week later to make a return and they were just as poorly stocked, so it wasnt a timing issue. They do not have any free shipping options. You cant have it shipped to the store and pick it up, and you cant have it shipped to your home when they are out of stock in the store.

Closets were installed very professionally and to meet our needs. It was definitely worth it---especially when you can take advantage of the Elfa sales.

They claim of offer contactless curbside pickup however when I arrived I called and provided my order information and vehicle description. The team member came out without any information and came to our window to ask about our order. Then he went, got the order, and handed it through our window. He was wearing a mask bit no social distancing.We have done contact less pick up at other stores where they do not hand anything to us and they do not break social distancing guidelines. The container store hasnt figured this out.

Bought some Ella products back in January time frame. Just tried to return brand new in package items to the store and was told by the manager that I could not even GIVE the items back to them. Very bad customer service with frustration and ZERO satisfaction.

Nice store, but do not go here if you’re in a hurry. Checking out is painful and time consuming. The cashiers are VERY slow and spend a long time checking out each customer - asking if you’re in the awards program, looking you up, moving like Flash the Sloth from Zootopia, etc. what should have taken 5 minutes took at least 10.

Typical Container Store experience - lots of nifty items that you never knew you needed, helpful employees, and spendy prices.Where TCS really shines is for those hard-to-find items or the ones that have silly shipping fees.

For a store built to help you organize the sales floor was anything but that. We were forced to step around lots of boxes on the floor all over the store and it didn’t look like anyone was unloading them. The store was a mess overall and it was hard to find multiples of a specific item as they would be all of the store varying colors and sizes. It was seriously the most cluttered unorganized location I’ve ever been to. The irony is not lost on me.

This store moved its location from across highway 7 and now is adjacent to Best Buy and next to Embassy Suites and Ruth Chriss steak house. Parking is much improved and the store is larger, brighter and has a better check out process than its old location. Same great selection.

We always love to browse at all the handy stuff that the store stocks. The staff are courteous and friendly and super helpful. It moved from across the street a month ago. Free parking in front, and easy access from Route 7. The only negative is the shortage of cashier at times, especially on weekends.

Everything went well except for the pickup at the store. That involved a 2 hour wait from the time I was told to be there.

I love the service and that they have so many things you can multipurpose. Having a cashier at each end is genius, especially when its busy. And I love looking at the little gadgets near the cashier. Ive found some really useful things there over the years.

Superb staff, could not be more helpful and knowledgeable. Very well trained. Great products, expertly displayed. Big box store shelving and storage products are not comparable. Come here to discuss your problems with experts.

Just visited the store looking to buy a closet for my new home. Did not get any service from any of the people in the closet section who did not even greet me or my family. We went to the front and asked if anyone worked in the closet section the guy in the front pages someone to greet us and help but no one ever came. Won’t be going to this location again just go to Clarendon worth the drive.

If money is no object, you will find what you need at this store. I love everything that I buy here, if I can stand to open my wallet and pay for it. If you would like even the most mundane items in your home to sparkle with refinement, please come here. On my last shopping trip I bought sock clips and an ergonomic chair, if that gives you any idea of the span of items you can find here.

Always finding cool stuff here. During the holidays, they have the best gift wrapping supplies. The paper is good quality, not the cheap kind that rips while youre wrapping. Gorgeous ribbons & tags & baked goods containers. Terrific ideas for stocking stuffers.

Beautiful new store - very spacious. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly. I also like that they have standard household items around on display so you can, for example, see if canned goods will fit on a particular shelf or container.

Great location for all sorts of things for the home and office space for organizing. Parking is available. Handicapped parking is available. Can easily be seen from the road. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

While the prices are a bit high I do love this place. Any type of container you need for an organizing her home improvement project you can find here. I live about two hours away and every time Im in the area I come to the container store. they also have some good organic cleaning products and their alpha shelving system is totally customizable and really good. the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. however I do recommend going to the back of the building and parking in the back that way you have closer access to your car and you do not have to go up and down the stairs

To management,The purpose of this letter is to report of the improper behavior and safety concerning an Employee named Carolyn at Container Store located in Tysons VA, occurred on 11/12/19.We are Korean family with 4-year-old son. The Container Store is one of our favorite stores which has been provided many needs for our businesses as my husband owns 5 restaurants and 2 houses in DC, VA, and MD.It was occurred on 11/12/19 between 7pm and 7:30pm.While the manager Kimberly was assisting me for a custom made closest, my husband and my 4-year-old son was shopping around.Suddenly, my husband came to me with anger and said “Let’s get out of here rapidly! That woman is very rude and just crazy!”I’ve been told that the employee “Carolyn” displayed aggressive and abusive behavior to our 4 year-old son.The reason way is because my son played and interested in suitcase and soccer ball.There was no one in the store, we are the only customers, my son didn’t make any damages or harms to anything or anybody.The employee Carolyn came to my son and took the suitcase away “Do you need this?”She even kept following my son and husband and looked for soccer ball and YELLED at my son like “Where is soccer ball?” with hateful voice.At the first time, my husband expressed enough his sorriness and said “I am sorry I will find it”Later, my son was already being dejected, and my husband took him to Toy Section to buy something for him.My son picked the Microphone and Clock..She again came around my little son with annoying persistence and said, “THIS IS NOT YOUR TOY, ITs FOR DISPLAY!” and then she finally took the microphone away from my son with her FORCE.My son tried to hold it in order to be not taken awaywith his two hands, but finally lost it BY HER FORCE which is considered as an unacceptable and unusual behavior to customers as a store assistant.My husband finally got very upset and asked back to Carolyn “isn’t this display? Not toy?”She seemed like very embarrassed but didn’t make any apologies...She showed her rudeness which is even not safe to kid.My son was very terrified by her and kept saying SORRY SORRY…he even told us that the lady was very scary and I don’t want go back to store…..In summary,As recorded on your CCTV, the disgruntled employee was yelling and taking a microphone TOY product which is for selling away from my child with great discrimination in which we would’ve been glad to have paid. My husband just noticed a hateful display which would be considered as Child Abuse from an employee towards a child which prompted me to write this letter today.We lost our happiness at that day. We seriously suspect that she wouldn’t even behave like that if we are WHITE AMERICAN. It is heartbroken experience for my family. We are not overprotecting my child, I am writhing this letter is just because I loved the Container Store and I have a right to notify this so that it wouldn’t be happened again to any other Asian family.I seriously encourage you to kindly review the video surveillance for evidence and take this time to take disciplinary action or legal proceedings will be strongly considered. Usually one of my favorite stops. When I went to purchase my products, there was a couple (white) in front if me. Terry the cashier, greeted them & constantly talked to them about their products. When it was my time, I (black female) placed my products on the counter & Terry did not even speak. I spoke to her and she said, OMG, I forgot my manners, & still did not speak. I love shopping at The Container Store, but they need to teach their employees, that they need treat all customers the same, regardless of who they are & that Kindness is free.

This place really doesnt help my genetic hoarding instincts, but they do have a lot of cool stuff. Id been looking for some zippered paperwork folders for 2 years now and finally found them here. They also have some of the friendliest and most well trained staff. Its a long drive for me, but Ill definitely be back.

I need some help with finding a solution.. I did not get the help i was expecting.

If youre looking for this place and you think you know where they are best to check again because they moved across the street from their old location. the day I went in there they were having troubles with their computers so things were a little backed up. They were nice and apologetic about it and eventually got everyone checked out. I think most of the people in there were just grumpy Tysons corner people who dont like to be delayed. Its got all the things youd expect from a container store but it seems just a little bit smaller than the old one.

First time shopping in this particular store. Surprised to see that all three items I purchased were priced $1 higher in the store than online. The cashier did a price override without quibbling, but still, one would expect online prices and store prices to match.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Great place to buy anything related to organizing your home or work space. A little more expensive, but worth getting what you need.

It has everything! Not cheap, but the range is huge. Staff are only helpful with large $ purchases.

This is one of the most unorgaznized and unhelpful stores I’ve ever been in, there are no floor employees and the employees they do have were even more confused than I was as to how i could purchase a shelving unit. I’ve never been in a store as unwilling to accept my money as this one. As there are a plethora of stores in the area whom offer similar services I suggest you exhaust every other option before subjecting your self to the misery that is entering this location. I’ve had pleasant experiences with container stores in the past but it’s hard to believe this store is allowed to operate under the same name.

Lots of staff walking around. Noone asks if you need help. When I did need help and asked an associate she seemed annoyed. She also wasnt confident kneeling down to read a SKU to do an inventory check but instead of asking me to help, she said, You wont get me down there, younger people have to kneel. I am a physical therapist and have every respect for people not being able to get to the floor. I would have appreciated a more respectful exchange. And given this is one of the most expensive places to purchase organization items, more friendly customer service should be standard.

Its nearly impossible to find one particular item, and employees dont have an idea either, so if you come and youve never been do expect to be looking for a while. There is a really large assortment of items though, so it is worth it. Parking is a bit odd and it can be difficult to access because the road its on is busy. The best place for quality travel containers, just be wary of anything being overpriced.

This place has it all when it comes to containers. It also has a very attentive and kind staff.

Awful customer service. Employee by the name Rosie refused to help me stating that she has to check if there are other customers in the store. There were NO customers, and she was chatting with her fellow-employee completely ignoring my needs. All others were not helpful either .
