I LOVE Yo Mamas! They always have great flavors and sooo many topping options, even when its close to closing time they still have everything out and stocked, even the fruit. Its my favorite froyo place for sure.

Flavors are spot on, we came here 3 times in a week 😅I got the ube and pistachio flavor. Wow absolutely loved it.We’ve also tried strawberry, mango, and chocolate. All were delicious!The mochi toppings are homemade by the owner as are the frozen yogurts.

We always enjoy their grass and their frozen yogurts. Always very clean. So so so many topping options for the frozen yogurt including beautiful, fresh fruit that is always kept so nicely displayed and clean. Good atmosphere. TV playing childrens videos quietly in the corner with chairs and kids table under it that I always see littles sitting at enjoying. A great place for pick up and go or to visit for a few minutes.

Ever since we discovered this place, my wife and I go here every chance we get. Amazing frozen yogurt desserts, smoothies and boba tea drinks!I saw something on the internet that the store is up for sale, I certainly hope nothing changes the excellent experience of Yo Mama.

Ive come here with my family at least three times in the past month! The experience we have is always great. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The shop itself is very vibrant and very clean. As for the menu, there is such a wide range of options for drinks. The frozen yogurt is good too, with all the toppings you could ever ask for. Once, we tried a taro-flavored yogurt that was handmade by the owner. It was delicious! We always love going to Yo Mama!

My wife and daughter love this place. Got a Groupon that made it a steal. Place was nice and clean and staff was nice and helpful. Will be back to get more for the wife and daughter. This place has a little kid area with tv. So many toppings to choose from. Sooooo many....

My daughter wanted to try Boba tea so we came here. The place is very clean and fresh. The toppings bar is colorful, fresh and beautiful. The owner is super friendly and very personable. He gave us some great suggestions for tea and even a huge sample of the newest yogurt flavor. They make their own yogurt so it is fresh and creamy. Everything was fresh and delicious. And did I say FRESH? Well definitely be coming back!

Love that they have probiotics in their yogurt. The flavors are rich. Wonderful array of toppings. The store was very clean and bright.

Came here after a few suggestion and actually found a place that finally have Taro! I havent been able to find one around the Hampton Roads area that actually has Taro root flavor. The froyo is awesome too, not super rich and the topping are pretty awesome too.

I go to the high school next door to this place. Been coming here for 4 years, staff is always friendly and the store is always very clean and organized. Everything tastes great. I would reccomend the Green tea boba tea!

We used to love Yo Mama. My mom had the RUDEST experience with the staff there today with who appeared to be the owner and was just absolutely the rudest. She accidentally dropped a yogurt and he was really angry and mean. She was extremely apologetic and he waved her off. Then when she asked for change from his helper - he said whats the problem you ALREADY dropped an yogurt?! As she told my kids that they werent going to eat in side. He said Good! Not the best business practice in these times. We wont be back to a place we loved going.

Place was clean and well-maintained. Has a wide variety of hot and cold drinks and lots of toppings to choose for frozen yogurt. Frozen yogurt tasted really good and is handmade every day! Cool hangout spot during the warmer season! A must visit!

Super friendly service. They’ve added more to their menu since I’ve last been here. In addition to froyo they now have coffee, boba tea, and a wide variety of instant ramen. I tried the avocado boba tea and was offered extra boba for no charge. It was delicious. My wife and kids loved their froyo as well. The toppings were fresh. We’ll definitely come back again.

This place is the best yogurt that I have been. My family and I always come here for the desert. It is super clean and friendly staff. The shop always serves fresh fruit. 100% highly recommend.

This place is amazing, but they seriously need to change out their flavors. Been coming here for years and its been the same flavors with maybe one changing out here and there. I only come everyone once in a while because of it. If they would change it up more would probably come more

I love this place. The yogurt is excellent. The bubble tea is the best in town. The variety is great. The owners are kind and keep everytjing clean and organized. They have typical American flavors and international flavors that are fun to try. My personal favorite is their mango ice cream or a taro bubble tea!

Always spotless and clean! The toppings are amazing, but the frozen yogurt flavors are rarely appealing to me. Vanilla with tons of toppings fills that negative. Best boba tea in Virginia Beach! More flavors than anywhere else.

My wife and I really enjoy coming here. The yogurt is good and they have a huge selection of toppings. The staff is always really friendly.

My wife and I waited for an hour for our drinks. There were a lot of people waiting and only one girl working as cashier and making drinks. I asked her at the 45 minute mark and she said she forgot our order and apologized. The drinks were good but due to the wait and lack of staffing we will not be returning here ever again.

So happy that we went to this place. Its so clean and organized here but most of all they serve everything fresh and employees here are so nice. My husband also love it here! :)

The frozen yogurt is really yummy & they have a great selection of toppings as well as boba tea. Above all else though, the customer service is impeccable!! The gentleman that runs/owns the store is always extremely friendly & very accommodating!

The Boba tea is so AMAZING!! Their shop is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is light and kid friendly. I personally love their Cookies N Cream boba, ND I highly recommend their frozen yogurt bar.

Positive: the absolute best frozen yogurt flavors and toppings of any froyo cafe Ive been to (the fruit always looks super fresh and mouth-watering and the sweets selection very diverse) and a clean & comfy interior set-up (with cool board games you can even play). Negative: occasional grumpy or awkward customer service - have had some not so great customer service experiences with two of the male workers (one the owner I believe), which unfortunately stand out in my mind when thinking about this Yo Mama location (no problems at the Chesapeake one, which I rate five perfect stars).

Different flavors of Yogurt with numerous tops were available. Oldest son was buying, and a great time was by all. Place was clean and staff was friendly.

Went here to try boba tea(bubble tea) and the owner suggested their favorites and gave us a huge sample of their newest yogurt flavor which all of them are homemade,the toppings are replaced every day so you’re assured for the best experience!this place is very clean,very colorful and will definitely be coming back here!

Everything is too sweet for me but the staff and the owner are nice. The place is huge so its good for groups amd kids. They have some sofas and an arra for kids.

We have always loved this place. But we wont be coming back. I just left after getting froyo with my 3 year old son. After getting our froyo and getting the toppings, I watched the person working use his bare hands to move toppings from the counter back into the container, then cough into his hands and again move more toppings back into their spot. I am almost 7 months pregnant and now worried that I am going to get sick or something else because your staff isnt trained to properly handle food and doesnt have the common sense to not cough directly into their hands!!

SO SO SOOOOOO delicious! The ice cream is yummy but the appearance of the items are so amazing and beautiful, also they are very clean everything is in order and never messy. The fruits are always sweet even in the winter season their strawberries, blueberries, mangos, and other fruits are fresh never sour. I never seen a fly or anything gross flying around the store. I love this place which may not be a good thing for my waist but Yo Mama is awesome! The staff is very friendly try them out if you never been however, dont get addicted like I did.

My favorite frozen yogurt place! The store is so cute and cozy (comfy seating and games to play). They offer many yogurt flavors along with a ton of boba tea flavors. Everything is delicious and the toppings are never ending. They also have a nice rewards card and the man who owns the place is very kind. I highly recommend this place and definately try their boba tea if you are considering what to grab!

I have worse experience here today. I bought a Groupon. When I come in, I asked cashier, how it works, she told me you can go to get a big bowl and get as much as you can, and it will be all covered. Then I got a big bowel for my daughter, and I even went back to the cashier and asked her if this bowl is fully covered, and she said yes. But when I checked out, the cashier said, I still need to weight it and it is extra $3.12 was charged. Please train your cashier if you released Groupon and let them know how it works, instead giving customers wrong information. I am not happy for the extra charge, but since my daughter is with me, I do not want to argue with your cashier.

They have a great selection of toppings for froyo and their froyo choices are good too. They even have Boba tea in many different flavors. They also have smoothies and snow cones. Its decorated so sweetly too.

I was excited to try frozen yoghurt for the first time at This location. Unfortunately when I got there, I was told they were closed. I arrived there at 8:40 pm with intentions of trying this place out, but i find it unreasonable to close 20 mins earlier than your intended 9 o’clock close hour.

Always good, healthier and cheaper alternative when the kids want ice cream.

This place has some good Thai Tea + Boba ! Suitable for Vegans as well. But froyo wise, not even a sherbert or plant based so I literally only get slushes or soy milk teas + Boba. Its good but I would have to be dropping in unplanned. I wouldnt go out of my way though.Staffs are generally young adults or high schoolers I think. They are upbeat and friendly. Ive always seen them in pairs so previous reviews may have been a call out or something.Overall decent place, a lot of variety, just not for vegans :P

Pros: This place has lots of yummy treats! Frozen yogurt with many favorite flavors like Taro, Mango, Coconut, and more. Tons of fruit and toppings that are always fresh. Boba Tea! They have a huge selection of boba tea flavors including avocado, lychee, matcha green tea, wintermelon and more! Hot and cold premium coffee drinks and you can even get your instant noodle fix here too! Furniture is modern and comfortable and they have a great little kids corner with games and books.Cons: If you like variety in yogurt flavors Yo Mama doesnt change it up. I personally love to get mango/taro every time I come but if youre looking for a wide variety of funky flavors like salted caramel pretzel or German chocolate cake they are not going to have flavors like this. Parking is also a hassle, they are in the corner of a popular area of the shopping center so finding a spot to park is sometimes difficult.

I personally hate this place terrible customer service ive had 2 probems on 2 seperate occasions! They have a policy if you guess how much your frozen yogurt weighs you get it free well my gf and i got frozen yogurt we guessed 2.2 pounds it was 2.180 they didnt give it to us everybody knows you should round a decimal this place is so money hungry and doesnt care about the customers then the second time 3 of us got frozen yogurt it was 3.3 pounds ww guessed 3.2 they said sorry not free i said fine atleast give us half off i wasnt too mad since i wasnt paying my girlfriends sister was this time but if it was my money i wouldve been angry! I will never come here again i rather go to sweet frog

Great froyo with lots of topping choices, plus if you guess your cup weight within a certain amount you get it free! Also there are many boba tea flavors to choose from. Only downside is they have no jellies, only boba and pop boba.
