I got my glasses on 10/30/21. To the managers of Eyemart Express, I must say, great team work you have right now! I was AMAZED by how knowledgeable the guy was. I dont even feel bad to spend more money for a quality product. He was a true gentleman, my husband was very impressed with the young man too. But in all, the girl who gave my glasses at the end was a joyful person. Everything with balance, not too much, not less. I applaud this team. 👍👍👍👍👍

This was the best eye exam that I have ever had. Not only was it thorough; it surpassed my expectations. I have worn contact and/or glasses for over 40 years and this exam was more thorough than I have ever experienced. I got contacts, glasses and sunglasses. Wonderful service! Despite looking overwhelmingly busy when we walked in, we were seen within 15 minutes, out the door within 10, and both pairs of glasses were ready to pick up 9 minutes later. With a great selection of frames at decent prices and plenty of lens upgrades to choose from (blue light, anti-glare, etc.,) this place will always be my first choice for eyewear. Especially with such friendly and knowledgeable staff. And they fit your new frames to your face perfectly in no time at all, too.

I was very well taking care of from start to finish! Very professional and timely! It was very easy to set an appointment and get in at a convenient time for me. I was reminded about my appt via text and enjoyed the experience when I got there! The eye Dr educated me not only about my eyes but about other health issues as well! After my exam, it took no time to pick out frames and have them ready within 2 hours! The staff was very friendly and enjoyable while I waited to be helped!

The lady that helped us yesterday was really nice and professional. Answered any questions I had and even had our glasses ready within 20 minutes! It was super busy when we arrived and had to wait about 45 minutes, but that’s because next door was busy sending people over! All about business! Anyways, I would recommend this place! Maybe not a Saturday at 2:00 because that seemed like a busy time to be there! Oh, had great choices in glasses as well!

Thursday I had a medical event and wound up breaking my glasses. The last 4 pairs of glasses were from Vision Works. They do an amazing job but I needed glasses sooner. I went to a place that my employer uses for safety Eyewear but they seemed incompetent. I looked online and found EyeMart Express. Went to the store and it was packed. I signed in and the wait about 20 minutes gave me enough time to find not one but two pairs of frames. The two pair of frames and lenses were around one pair of glasses from Vision Works. The said about two hours before they would be ready but an hour later I received the text saying that they were done. I walked back in the store and Bam, I had two new pairs of glasses that fit perfectly. Awesome job from the person that helped me. Ill be back for more glasses.

I was taking my son to an orientation at Baylor University in Waco, TX when the nosepiece from my glasses broke. After looking up several places in Waco, I visited Eyemart. I was greeted promptly upon arriving and put on a waiting list. Even though they were extremely busy, the employees were giving each customer the time and attention they needed. Eyemart Express has provided phenomenal service for my family for many years. It has been a staple in getting new frames and lens. However, I dont feel safe in their local store. Not related to covid-19 but rather to a team lead who is on probation. Shes incredibly rude to every person who walks in, quick in responding but to the point she bent my frame at pick up twice, yelling across the store and furthermore my warranty had elapsed only a few days and she refused to extend it. Ive expressed deep concerns in the past about the individual to management but it just falls on deaf ears. I shouldnt have to pick and choose when I feel comfortable visiting this place. My next grievance are in regards to staffing. Everytime I go in their are plenty of people working but but most are in the back and they dont work efficiently. The wait times have elapsed nearly a half hour in the recent past. Anyway Im sad to say that these changes are enough that I will no longer be going here for my eyeglass needs. My concerns were expressed over a year ago and nothing. Ill try somewhere where they value guest feedback and work hard to earn and keep your business. A place where I can feel safe in their hands.

I went there this past Saturday and it was pretty busy. But the wait wasn’t long. Ashley helped me out with my order on my glasses. Ashley was very nice and funny! She helped me out on my insurance and the promotions y’all had. If I go back I would want her to help me out again because she was so out going. I got a pair of regular glasses and prescription sun glasses and the sun glasses were ready in less than an hour. I would def come back to eye mart. All in all the staff was nice and friendly and following protocols with COVID.

I bought a pair of prescription glasses about three weeks ago and I was never asked if I had insurance. My wife bought a pair today and our insurance paid 200 dollars on them. I lost 200 dollars for not knowing I have purchased many glasses from Waco eyemart.

Hello,I decided to take sometime to sit down and communicate how awesome my experience was recently at your Waco Tx store on 3.30.21. When I entered the store I was immediately greeted and not your standard monotone greeting but a sincere “Welcome to EyeMart Express how can we help you?” That greeting got my buy in that I would receive great care. The store was filled with 25 customers easily so I knew there would be a wait. As I sat and waited I observed what I perceived as customer service excellence. I watched and heard every customer that entered receive that same sincere greeting. I watched this team verbally confirm that ever customer waiting had been signed in. Not with a tone of irritation but a tone of “we want to make sure we don’t miss taking care of anyone.” I also witnessed some impatient and some frustrated customers approaching different team members with”sour” attitudes but what stood out was that those team members stayed professional and polite and concerned. So much so that even though some customers were irritated no one left. Even though the entire team should be commended Marizol and Landria really stood out!!! Just their level of patience and handling each customer with care despite being bombarded with a high level of customer traffic was a joy to watch. Even when in the mist of helping a customer if another customer interrupted to ask a question they calmly answered time and time again. When Landria finally helped me I just knew she would be rushed to get through my selections and move on to get the line down. She did not!!! She took her time with me and I felt that I was her immediate focus and I never felt rushed. I bought 3 pair of glasses that day and she walked me through my options for each pair. She worked professionally and swiftly but I never felt pressured or rushed to move quicker. I have been in the financial industry for 20 years and I pay close attention to the level of customer service provided by different businesses. This service was top notch. This is the type of service that creates customer loyalty. If these ladies aren’t currently in leadership roles they definitely should be. During peak times is when you will see most business’s customer service fall by the waistside so they can focus on just getting the lines down, but this team upped their game during what was a very busy timeframe. They could show a thing or two to others who work in customer service industry but make no effort to engage and provide a quality experience. That’s my 2 cents!! Customer service is very poor. Took 4 1/2 hours to get a pair of glasses. They tell you one and a half to two hours. I wouldn’t even give a one star but this is the only way I could voice my opinion. I will let everybody know or come in contact with how I feel about their service there

Fastest service in town!!

I ordered my glasses on March 26 and it is April 19. That is more than two weeks. All they say is not in. I need my glasses. Already paid for. Cant talk to a manager. When I was there last week several employees went out to smoke while they had lots of customers waiting. Wont be back for my next pair.

Amazing customer service 😃 especially during this time in the world, and they even had just got done renovating the whole place and were still able to help customers! They had hand sanitizers at every station/desk and everyone was wearing their mask properly! They were all so nice and helpful!

I had a very pleasant experience with Waco Eyemart Express. They were very helpful and got me the best deal possible. I paid $109 for two pair of frames with lenses. The glasses also came with a one year warranty and they had my glasses ready in 36 minutes. Definitely will use them again and recommend to everyone.

Awesome customer service and my first pair I ordered started rubbing on tops of my ears, so they did a redesign where I picked a different frame and only had to pay the difference in frame cost. Dr. McCain was wonderful! She was so kind and courteous and made my son and I feel welcomed and appreciated. We drove 40 miles to see her, and it was truly worth it!!We will be returning for all of our upcoming appointments for the entire family.

Worst customer service. Didnt get any help picking out the glasses out & then the day I went to pick up my glasses and I heard an employee telling a customer about the deals going on, also, I was upset because I could have walked out with two pairs not just one.

The overall experience was very good. The first young lady that helped me was very friendly and courteous!! When I came back to pick my glasses up I checked in and was waiting in the lobby when I got a very important call and the lady called me up at the same time. I said politely I really have to answer this please take the next person and Ill wait. Well I guess it made the lady mad because she was extremely rude and put out by this, I apologized and stepped outside and answered the call. When I came back in I asked if I needed to check in again and was told no and to sit again and wait even though the other person had left and no one else was waiting. I tried to explain to the lady the situation and she never acknowledged anything said. Finally she called my first name and when I walked up she asked my name again and I gave it to her and again never acknowledged me really, handed my glasses to me and she said nothing else. I finally said i guess they are fine she snapped the case closed laid it on the counter and walked off. That was it. I guess the ole saying if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all applied to her. I did not mean to offend anyone but I had been trying to reach a family member for 2 days and they called back right then. I had to take the call. I dont think that should be treated as rude and I feel she was very short and rude by not acknowledging me.

Amazing experience. The doctor was super nice and friendly. She explain everything the way I understood. They gave me my prescription and I went next door to get my glasses, got two for $39 and they where ready in less than an hour. Stuff at the store are super friendly, they offer other option but they where not pushy trying to sell more, I love that. Overall, beyond recomendable!

I contacted the Eyemart center after lunch after realizing Id lost my glasses. I spoke with Shannon who assured me they could get my new glasses prepared in about 4 hours! I brought my prescription to them drom my eye doctors office and with Shannons help chose a great pair of frames and had my new glasses well under the time he told me it could take. Loved both pair of glasses everyone was friendly and helpful. Wait time wasnt the best time I ever spent, but it was Saturday so I expected it. Loved the optometrist friendly, fast and took the time to explain each option and what exactly would work best for me. Plus everyone said I had the sexy librarian thing look with my new glasses.

Ive been in this store multiple times, Ive bought dozens of pairs of glasses for my children and myself. The only reason I go here is because its convenient and right next door to our eye doctor. The staff is beyond rude, they are down right hateful, and they do it because they get away with it from their corporate office. My son can go by himself now thank God. I will mever step foot in that store again. The woman who called me the other day for insurance information was terrible! Its typical for that place!

I was seen soon after arrival & ordering was easy since I picked frames similar to what I was wearing, lenses changed strength but Eye mart had previous info on file which made time spent there short. Of course the cost and pickup time were no where close to the ads shown on TV, in newspapers, etc. Cost $284.85 and 2-week wait. But I would recommend Eyemart Express to everyone.

I honestly did not know what to expect from a strip mall eyewear store. I was pleasantly surprised. The selection was about 4 times as great as my optometrists office. The best part of the visit was the service from Elizabeth. Ask for her! You wont be disappointed.

This is to say that Ashley was wonderful yesterday. In November I got an eye exam next door and got glasses the same day. The prescription was wrong so I went back and got another exam by another doctor, and had another pair of glasses made. Long story short, that prescription was wrong too. I have had difficulty seeing since then but with COVID couldn’t get an appointment with my eye specialist. Finally got in this week and was told the prescription was definitely wrong.I told this information to Ashley and she took care of me immediately. In a few short hours I had new glasses free, and I can see perfectly!!I highly recommend EyeMart Express, but please avoid the doctors next door!

This Eyemart is the best I have ever experienced. Americas Best falls short in every aspect such as quality, customer service, presentation and name brand variety. I am am waiting for the 2 For the price of one. Im also from out of town but willing to drive there to get my glasses. I hope Eyemart compensates their employees generously.

Eyemart Express always have great deals but the customer sign in process and wait time needs to improve. It used to be that you could get in then get out. Now you wait 30-45 minutes just to pick up glasses. When you walk in most of the time your greeted by at least one staff person; there was a time that other staff see you walk in and say nothing. I had to walk over to someone to get signed in. I think to speed up the process for customers who are for PICK UP ONLY, should be greeted by one staff who signs customers in and retrieve glasses that are ready for pick up. This will keep customer flow moving instead of customers sitting in all chairs available and other customers standing because of no chairs.

Had a wonderful experience @ Eyemart Express! Marizol was extremely helpful and patient while I looked at and picked & culled frames. She gave me options and her knowledge & opinion were valuable in the process. Landria helped me with the fit of my glasses and tweaked a few things to make my them feel better and sit more comfortably on my face. Kudos to these two women for making my experience so positive! Highly recommend Eyemart Express!! You will NOT be disappointed! They don’t herd you in and out and change the game and $ on you halfway through the process like some companies do. Eyemart Express was just that. Fast. It was orderly done in a timely matter. Easy steps to be quickly seen and fitted. I walked in at 1:00 p.m. gave them my name to be placed on a waiting list. My name was called at 1:10 p.m. I went over benefits with a staff member. Picked my glasses and then was told how long it would take for the lab to complete my prescription. By 2:15 p.m. I picked up my glasses. I just wish they had a wider variety in frames for those on Medicaid.

Great quality lenses, but customer service is lacking badly. I walked in the first time, wasn’t even acknowledged and was actually ignored until I approached one of the four persons working there (granted, two were helping other customers). They should’ve at least said “hello” or “someone will be with you in just a few moments!” The second time I went in, a lady got upset because two people walked in after her and were assisted first. The store just doesn’t seem streamlined or organized, as far as their policies on speaking to customers.
