Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this business. Incompetent and GHETTO employees. Went into the store to purchase two new IPhone 12 PROs and switch service from TMoblie/Sprint. Brian was giving VERY POOR customer service acting like he was tired and we were bothering him. So we let the (so called) manager know we wanted to work with someone else in a very polite manner. She must have told Brian who told his coworkers and they all let us sit there for hours until four minutes until closing time. Sad, very sad!! I guess when people know better, they will do better. They DONT know no better! (I know that is bad English but perhaps they will understand it better this way).

I went to this location today in an attempt to activate my digital sim! My phone has always had two numbers but for some reason the employees could not get it to work. They were very nice in this area of help! My issue comes as my fraustration rose with Verizon I decided I should purchase another phone as the line that I need active is my work number. I asked the employee if u could just purchase another phone and was told the safe is locked! The store closes at 8pm and I was there thirty minutes prior to close. Why would staff lock the safe with the merchandise needed to sale.(because staff is ready to go home and don’t want to sit and help customers if it leads to staying past 8)! This is very discerning to me as a manager of a large Chevrolet dealership I would never allow my staff to reject the customer at any hour if they were there prior to the doors closing! To me the service was very shady I am a lifelong Verizon customer who is now considering switching Simply because the importance of my agenda was taken very lightly…

Went there today to pay off our phones and upgrade. We wanted to close a few lines down. The man that was helping us kept telling us we can do that all on the app now. My husband was trying to explain the app was not working right, the man disregarded what my husband said but said he will still try to help us out. We were talking he said he couldnt give us a quote unless we pay our phones off. While we were talking and asking questions he acted like he didnt want to be bothered he was on Instagramposting stuff messaging people. He said you can do it all on the app. We said okay thats what we will do we came home to do that. We couldnt cancel a line on the app ended up having a chat with someone online. To find our our kids phones have no value after we even asked the man in the store if they did.

Plus 1.The workers seem clues on what to do and how to solve a problem with ur phone.They train to sale phones NOT fix. I end up calling tech. Support no help.I figured out my issue myself. The rep. Said it could be storage issue Eventho i ask him to.move everything to.my sd card he did not. I end up doingthat 2.Even the manger couldnt help me with my issue.

Buyers beware! S21 ultra I purchased for 1200 dollar 26 days later the phone completely stopped working. Went to verizon and they couldnt get it to work, they sent me a refurbished phone. The phone was missing 18 of the core apps on the install and wont even update accordingly. So let me get this straight your going to charge me 1200 dollars for a phone thats not even equal in value as its refurbished previously damaged and repaired, with no listing to whats been repaired for warranty concerns. Not to mention I have to download all the apps you missed just so you can throttle my data later in the month. Whats next when this one fails im going to have to pay my deductible and use my insurance to get the same phone. Time to move on

I recently just upgraded to a S20+5G and experienced all kinds of issues. I scheduled an appointment and the Verizon Service Rep Nikki helped me. Words cannot express how thankful I am for her. Mercedes was kind, patient, and above all professional. My adult daughter and I arrived without an appointment and were seen right away. I needed an upgrade phone and my daughter needed to switch services from another carrier. Mercedes recommended a phone within my budgetfor my upgrade and proceeded to copy/transfer all my apps, files, pics, etc., from the old phone to the new; as well as assist my daughter and resolving her carrier switch; payment was seamless with at least three options: these processes were time-consuming but we planned our day to stay as long as necessary to get the job done. Every customer service need was met and we left extremely satisfied. Thank you Mercedes and Verizon for a job well done. #MakeHerAManager ;o)

She was able to make sure my needs were met as I upgraded my phone but also added a line but wanted to use my old phone as my new line. 20 year customer.. i took advantage of a Black Friday deal, Paid in full for the phone upgrade. A couple weeks later went to pay bill and found out the store manager, who waited on me, changed my plan and put me on the most expensive plan they had and applied the 800 towards a down-payment on the phone. I was shocked my usual bill had more than tripled. Stay away from this store.

Let me just say that the sales rep named Lex is GREAT!!! I went to purchase a new device last week and she hooked everything up. They didn’t have the tablet in the store so she had to order it for me-it came that very next day so that made me extremely happy! My screen protector was damaged during shipping & I had to go back to Verizon. Once again Lex was on it! Without hesitation, she placed the replacement order for me. I also liked the fact that she remembered who I was-to me it shows that she cares about her customers.

There is no way that Verizon is a 3! Google needs to investigate the rating. That said they deserve a negative number due to poor service and outright scams to get customers to leave their carriers and switch to Verizon. I got scammed with a rebate coupon to switch from T-Mobile. They never honored the coupon but continue to string you along in hopes you wont cancel them or file a lawsuit. Hopefully a good class action lawyer is paying attention because scams like these are usually no isolated incidents.

The sales associate was in a hurry to leave changed my husband’s and my phone SIM card told us that it would work in 15 minutes, and send us off. 20 minutes later to 4 hours later, phones were not operating, it took us to visit the store in La Plata, MD to get one phone fix. I used my online rebate and ordered a lighting cable. I got an email that the cable was ready for me to pick up. I got there one of the rep said there was nothing for me or with my order #. He talked with his supervisor(?) that without looking at the email said they didnt have anything for me. The next day I go online to check and using chat option, the lady said I already picked it up. That they will investigate............ That was last year and no response to the investigation. Now I just go there to use the kiosk to pay my bill.

If I could write a review with a zero stars rating, I would.I have frequented this particular store a few times and today I can honestly say that the customer service was sub-par at best. Had an issue when I asked one of the employees for assistance and he couldnt provide any helpful information and he stayed glued to his phone throughout the conversation. So, I asked for a manager. The manager was about as disengaged as the unhelpful employee. I addressed my concern and all the manager could say was I apologize. Im not sure why I expected much more than that because the managers demeanor was less than inviting.If I am going to patronize a business, the customer service should be of a certain standard that I WANT to spend my money there. No one should have to deal with disengaged employees and/or managers when spending money.I will GLADLY drive further to receive better customer service.My advice...avoid THIS establishment if you can. It is not worth the aggravation.To the Verizon owner who responded to my original review...it amazes me that your interpretation of my review was unfriendly service. With a response like that, I see why the employees of this location behave in the way they do. It starts at the top and apparently the expectations for valued customer service are low. Switched over to Verizon in December. Mike Foster helped me and my wife switch our phones and quoted us the price. The first bill came and it was inaccurate. We returned to the store and Mike Foster said he would take care of it. Never did. We returned a second time and he said he would call us back after he took care of the issue never did. I opened a new account earlier this morning and after I had left the Laplata store, I saw I had an upgrade option through the My Verizon app. I decided to see what my options were at the Waldorf store (its closer to my work place). I spoke with Eric.I explained to him that I would like to use my upgrade and wanted to know if there were any deals I could receive by doing so. He looked up my account and said that I could get the phone I wanted, the Note 10, for $99. I questioned it because it seemed too good to be true-one of the latest phones for just under $100. He verified that was the price after I asked him again if the phone was $99, flat rate. I was excited about this and expressed what a great deal it was!I went through with the transaction as he reassured me. His responses were short but I figured he wasnt social. I later realized he was video chatting during our entire transaction. It wasnt business related, it was a personal call. After he took payment by card and I signed the paperwork he started to transfer data from my previous phone (just paid it off today which cost $1000, started a new plan for my daughter and I and I wasnt looking to spend that much again). During the time of the data transfer, my brother asked him if there was going to be a monthly charge and I told my brother no, the phone is $99. Eric then said that there will be a monthly charge of $40. I was shocked and asked him how much I was spending on the phone. He said $950. I remained calm but I am EXTREMELY upset. Eric had lied to me and led me to believe I was getting a promotion due to an upgrade and informed me after the transaction complete that I was actually paying a hefty price. I stepped outside to discuss the situation with my brother to be sure I didnt misunderstand anything...I didnt. We both heard the same thing and my brother was questioning it. Eric had stated multiple times that the phone would be $99. I walked back in after a few minutes to see if the data had transferred. It still had few minutes remaining and Eric was on his way out to leave for the day. Everything wasnt complete as I hadnt recieved ANY paperwork and my phone wasnt finished with setup. He said his shift was over, my bag was on the counter and left.I have never had such an experience with any company as horrible as this.

The store wait time is the only thing that was done right. Once you actually get somebody to assist you, they are incompetent, inefficient and rude. I went in to talk to someone about an issue that I was having with my bill. I explained to the solutions specialist that a sales rep messed up and didn’t upgrade my plan as I asked for it to be 4 months ago to which he said ‘you should have caught the mistake earlier.’ He had an attitude when I stated that not all of their customers were liars and in mid conversation decided to walk off. It seems that the only solution that he specialized in was how to lose Verizon customers and business.

The staff also acted very racist and with disdain towards me as the shade of my skin was different than any employee or customer in the store. Not a hi, welcome or we will be with you shortly. First of all, I walked in and every worker in that store glanced my way and continued talking amongst one another (not even busy) until I said excuse me to the guy closest to me with a badge on his chest. I then received the most half-ass, and severely under-educated-in-his job-service- that I have ever had. I believe if we all complain to the corporate office and then take our business elsewhere someone will begin to take our complaints seriously. Please write to the corporate headquarters with your complaints. The local store does not care about your complaints, if they did a change would have occurred by now. Then a customer walked right in and was seen immediately by him.l voiced my disaproval and was told that you are waited on based on your issue. I have been to this location a time before to upgrade my phone and the experience was long but I was well taken care of. This particular time not so much.I went in to add a phone I already owned to my current line. It seemed all I needed was a new SIM card in the phone and a plan change. The plan change from an unlimited single line to a shared unlimited line which was oddly a few dollars less a mth...which was no biggie.. that was great news and a smooth transition.The trouble came when the Verizon employee cldnt get past the set up screen on the new phone. He (I believe his name was Garrett S.) told me if he cldnt get past this screen I wld need to either take the phone to an Apple Store or go home and connect the phone to iTunes. I found this odd but none the less I ended up leaving with the phone not completely working and trying what he suggested at home.I called Verizon over the phone that next night to see if they cld help assist me. The rep tells me the store was capable of fixing my issue in the store and that these are the types of issues they suggest we go in their store for not Apple.There was nothing she cld do for me over the phone and suggested I either go back to the store or venture out to the next nearest location in Clinton.I’m not sure if the Verizon employee was already having a bad morning but I cld defiantly tell he was not too interested in helping me. Just by the way he was speaking, the grunts he made, his frustration, attitude, and then passing me on to a whole nother store.The customer service was so so BC he was a little helpful but over all not really. Kinda like he halfassed his job. 😕The nice lady on the phone waived the new activation fee I wasn’t even aware was charged to my account when I asked several times how much my new charges wld cost me while in the store. I had to go in twice about a purchase I made. The first time, I asked for the manager and instead dealt with an associate that talked to me like a child and told me to come in the next day to talk to the associate that sold me the iPad. I came in and asked for the manager who in no uncertain terms basically told me he believed his associate and not me and that there is nothing he could do for me. These guys have no understanding of lifetime customer value. Been with Verizon and Verizon Wireless for 10 years. Im done with Verzion. Direct TV and T-Mobile here we come.
