Me and friend of mine were helped by Taryn on multiple occasions. She has been extremely helpful during all instances! When it came to hair care she was able to recommend to Olaplex. She even was knowledgeable on the different scents sold by Chanel and Tom Ford. Her service is top tier and probably the best service I have ever received at any establishment. She is the reason I keep coming back to this specific store and will continue to so. Her charm is unmatched and accompanied by prestige customer service. Even when someone was being apprehended by shoplifters, she was able to maintain her professionalism with us and focused on the products rather than what was going on around us. She definitely deserves manager status if she is not already.

The store regulates the number of customers in the store. The individual at the door is pleasant and asks if you are there to pickup or shop. They request that you sanitize your hands and provide you a sanitized basket before entering the premises.Employees are attentive and checkout didnt take too long.

I know nothing about make-up and the staff at Sephora could probably tell. they helped me find items from a list that I would have never been able to locate on my own. overall great shopping experience.

A friend who went to the store told me not to bother. Snobby, awful sales people, and no one coming to help. And I didnt much care for their beauty products, as I had tried some my daughter had. There are other much better products elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. i am a teenager and i go in there to buy products and they are give me dirty looks as if i’m doing something wrong. 0/10, don’t recommend this location because the employees are all trash.

Manager Zakia and Tyler patiently and kindly helped me and was extremely patient. I was frustrated and they were able to calm me down by going above and beyond.

The Services are terrible and the workers there arent that great of a help for looking what you want to buy and whatever time I come in with my mom. My mom expect me to pick out the makeup that I want and not the workers and the workers wont stop talking about into my mom to keep buying theses makeup that I dont want I recommend u shop off line on Sephora and they wouldnt leave us alone whatever time when we walk in its like they were forcing us to buy what they want us to buy and long time ago this lady name brandy did my makeup and terrible makeup section service I wrote down what I want to used for makeup instead they will choose something else that you wont appreciate.

Love Sephora ... online. This location is not the best, and customer services often nonexistent and occasionally rude. However, is you know what you want, you can get in and out of there pretty quickly without too much stress. Online experience, way better and you get to select your own samples.

Everyone is helpful but it does get crowded there in the late afternoon. Its best to go there during the week before 4pm to be able to get in and out quickly. I have always had a great overall experience at Sephora WC.

Their service is terrible. I just wanted to get the receipt of my gift card (for business) purchase to get reimbursed. They said there is no way to retrieve the gift card after purchase date, and transferred me to promotion department with all the brainwashed advertisement bs forced me to finish listening. Ended up without giving me any direction where to get the receipt and no result if any possible way to help customers...Ridiculous

I usually only come during the weekday after work so I’m not sure how busy it gets during the weekend, but I never have to wait too long to pay. The store is clean and well organized. I wouldn’t recommend doing a makeup lesson from here.. the 2 times I did it I ended up looking like a drag queen afterwards.

I went there today at first looking for help with how to contour and what products I should use, knowing a colleague that has worked at Sephora was required to take makeup classes. When I first arrived I asked an employee for help and they said that they were very busy and that I couldnt be helped for another hour and then when asked if she could show me some contour products, she showed me some with tutorials but after a bit of searching I learned that she showed me only the most expensive. Though almost right after I was helped Tara asked me if I needed help and I explained how I want to learn how to contour and she helped me out showing me how and what products and brushes to use. Thank you Tara for the wonderful service and excellent tips!

I was completely dissatisfied with the customer service I experienced at this location. I was hoping to return an unused item without a receipt. The cashier was so rude and unhelpful, she stated in a snobby way that maybe I should keep my receipt next time. I did not feel that I was valued nor that the customer is the priority. I have visited this location several times before and they are utterly useless when I try to find a correct foundation shade.

Good service and selection, I just wish they sold their nail polishes in store.

The cashier, neesha, was so polite and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and made it easy for me to shop there without knowing anything!

The new location change is the worst thing to happen imo. Its a third of the size and they got rid of so much!! I usually get all skin care, hair care, and makeup from this downtown Sephora; now I can shop in store for 3 out of the rather extensive regularly repurchased items. It’s a real shame because I would much rather go in-store and support a location (and artists/workers) rather than buy everything online.

The best place to buy perfums like cloe, daisy and gucci from Oscar the fragrance expert !!!!

I’ve been here multiple times and the lack of customer service is amazing to me. Last time I went, I walked around looking for a specific brand and walked the entire store without any help. Actually the employees were talking to each other instead. I will no longer go to sephora for anything. Ulta is not too far and has absolutely wonderful customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for makeup.

I have visited MANY Sephora locations and this location had THE WORST customer service I had ever experienced!My daughter needed help getting color matched with Sephora brand foundation so we waited to be approached by a consultant which took about 8 minutes. By then I had attempted to color matched my daughter myself. When a sales consultant finally approached us, she asked if we needed help, so we asked for color matching help. She asked 4 other salespeople to help us but no one was available because they were too busy looking busy and chatting with one another.I work next to the Union Square Powell Stlocation and intend to keep my patronage there where I feel appreciated and valued.If you are in need of cosmetic help go to another location because you WONT get it here.They dont deserve the 1 star on this but I had to give rating for my review to be posted

This is a very nice Sephora but I dont like how the employees follow me around and look at me like Im about to steal something every time I go in...

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at Sephora. I’ve been to Sephora’s all over and I’ve never met a kinder staff! Everybody was so welcoming and had great recommendations for me. I went in just to pick up some brow gel and ended up with tons of tips for how to improve the quality of my skin. I had so much fun! Thank you to Misha, Rhonna, Charles and everybody else who helped us.(sorry if I got the names wrong, I was a little overwhelmed!) I don’t live in Walnut Creek but I would make the drive to come to this store again.

Despite some of the negative reviews of this Sephora, I have always had a pretty good experience in this location! I recently went in and got a mini makeover from a MUA named Jessica and I have to say her service and attentiveness to getting me a look I would love and fit my needs was very impressive. I have been pointed in the right direction before by MUA, but Jessica gave me exactly what I needed and went above and beyond the make up artists I had worked with before and worked on my friends that day. The woman at the front of store seemed a bit moody, and forgot that I had asked for a mini make over, but I cant remember her name and it didnt really affect my experience, as I work retail and know it can be hard. Anyways Jessica is amazing and I found out about a lot of new great products from her!!!
