This dealership redefines sleazy used car dealers. Drove 4 hour to hopefully purchase a Ram truck. The salesman took the photos I asked for. The truck had the expected bumps and bruises for its year. They even fixed the 2 large dents.Arrived looked truck over, was happy and took for test drive. Everything fine until I locked in 4 wheel drive. Going slow and tried turning on wet pavement, steering wheel almost ripped out of my hands and drivers rear tire looked like it wanted to come off and run the other direction.Took back and advised 4 wheel drive was smoked, they brought to shop and had 2 techs look at it and drive it, did the same with them and they advised it was fine it does that on pavement. They took it to dirt and did it, not as bad but still jerked the wheel on occasion. Still said fine, might add they were super rude and had customer service skills of monkeys. Mind you I have had 4 wheel trucks for over 35 years and have never had truck do this.I figured I would still work a deal on truck as I believed it was axle shaft or tire issue, mind you 2 different brand of tires on 30,000 dollar truck, this should have been red flag for me.Sales manager Dan, went upstairs to big office and came back. He advised the market changed and truck was now 31,999. Mind you I had deposit down for 29,999 truck. Dan said price is 29,999 for me and that is great deal. Salesman was great though.You can image, I got up and walked out never looking back, YOU should do the same, better yet never do business with them.
If I could put 0 stars, I would. When I was buying my car, Dan told me new brakes were installed the day before. A year and a half down the road (with not much stress being put on the car), the ENTIRE brake system needs replaced among other things, costing $1700. I also referred a friend to them, she also bought from Dan and I was told I would receive a referral payment. This was well over a hear ago when I reached out to Dan about it, I have yet to hear from him. Im glad I dont live in the area anymore, if I knew all this would happen I never would have bought from them.
They sold us a 2014 kia sedona 3 months ago that should have not passed inspection! The strutt mounts were completely rotted out. This caused all the other parts in the front to be damaged as well! I have replaced them all myself. I was replacing the rear rotors and brakes. I noticed a new sensor was installed around the rusty non working parking brakes that fell apart when the rotor was removed!! I will be filling a lemon law for sure! The vehicle was marked for 10k. They sold it to us for 16k!!
Had a great car buying experience for my daughter, Andrew and Cliff were both amazing, very helpful, responsive, and helped us with exactly what we were looking for, and explained things well for my daughter as this was her first car buying experience, shoutout to the service crew also who was able to get a last minute touch-up done even though we came in a day sooner than expected to pick up the car...great experience, highly recommend

Low pressure salesman. Very friendly. Offered me $6,000 less that what my trade in is worth at FX Caprara (went there right after) because my trade in had a rusty crossmember. Part is $200 OEM. The guy crunching the numbers in the back seemed shady and not so friendly, almost like I was being talked down to. Was told that $12-14k for my trade in was retail value. FX caprapa happily appraised my trade in way above what the guys at widrick could manage. Wont be doing business here ever again. Truck that I was looking at was a little wonky and when I pointed out concerns I was told thats because its an 08. I feel like they prey on soldiers here who dont know any better about buying a vehicle.Response to owner: I was told the reason my trade in couldnt be more valuable is because of costly repair to the crossmember and now, based on what you responded, it is a totally and completely different reasoning than Widrick salesmen gave in store; severely undervaluing my trade in. Going down the road to get in touch with salesmen and women that will hopefully be more transparent with the car-buying process. Would have maybe considered your rebuttle, but you failed to take accountability for anything that I reviewed. That confirms my hunch. Big money coming Mr Capraras way :)

Went and used their car wash on April 1st 2020. Got the 12 dollar package and it hardly cleaned the car. Hardly any soap came out, the high pressure water was not high pressure (my shower head has more pressure) and while it was drying my car it was still running water all over. Didn’t touch any of the dirt on my vehicle. I do not recommend this place. Go down the road to precision wash.
Better off somewhere else. Car we bought IMMEDIATELY had issues. As stated in other reviews, most of the time we were told it was “nothing” until it was taken to a different shop, which they were extremely rude and sarcastic about. I understand how warrantys work, but when my car has an issue within months of buying it that employees there admit to remembering the signs of at time of sale, it’s absurd for me to wait weeks for the dealership to decide if they’re going to help with fixing it, just to tell me “they don’t want to put money in to the car,” that’s just terrible customer service. Every other week there’s something wrong with this car I’m fairly certain I was sold a lemon. Unfortunately, I’ve heard from multiple other people they’ve had a very similar experience. I could go on with other issues, but this is the big one.Only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 is because our salesman worked hard to try to help us through the buying process, also because there were a couple issues (out of MANY) that were fixed.Edited to add : I did end up contacting the dealership. I was told the owner would contact me after giving my name and number. One month later, nothing. Traded my car in and ammuch happier now.

I went to purchase a Nissan here a little over a month ago. So far I have had two check engine lights. The first light they had me come in and they just reset it, they fixed nothing. They said it was just some kind of error, dont worry about it, if it happens again we will handle it. So it happened again, I message the sales manager Dan. I have now been ignored for a week, no sign of it being repaired in sight. Do not buy from this dealership. I now have a vehicle with a check engine light only a month and a half after purchasing. Keep in mind the first check engine light came on a little over a week of having the car. This is ridiculous, I will never purchase from here again and will let everyone I know not to buy here as well. I have screenshots for proof of me attempting to contact them.

We made an appt with Michael to test drive a minivan. First we have to wait 10 -15 min for him and he had to go back for the keys. We asked for the price and he didnt know. They only had 2 minivans...The first van we looked at reeked like an old motel room. Michael said that it was just the cleaner they used, not because it was smoked in and had to be fumigated. The rest of the detailing was mediocre.I then found rust under the hood paint and he said they could fix that. He said they could fix that... This was a 2016 model. Next we were putting in our child seats and found no seatbelts latch for 1 of the seats. Of course he could fix that too. So we passed on the test drive. The next van we looked at didnt stink but again Michael still didnt know the price after we asked and he had gone back, 2 times, to get the keys. We went for a test drive and immediately hear a loud sound coming from the suspension.If Widrick does such a poor job of inspecting a vehicle, or hopes that the customer doesnt find the problem, then I can trust buying a safe vehicle from them. Ill NEVER go back.
Nightmare dealership for us. My Army son (19 y/o) had just arrived @ Ft. Drum and needed a car, then came the nightmare. He put 1k down on a Ford Focus, after signing the paperwork they told him the car was not prepped and they put him in a loaner. Our son emailed us the paperwork and it revealed firstly a 24% interest rate, (red flag) $326 payments @ 48 months for an 8K price-tag. A week and change later, I called the salesman (Cliff Sears) and informed him this deal had to be terminated, and he stated he needed our sons orders and the bank would not reverse this agreement. I then called the finance company funding department and gave them the relative info and they could not find anything in the system on our son. After Informing them the sale occurred better than a week prior, they were able to locate the approval and nothing from the dealer. I informed them that this deal was not happening and they made notation to the effect. The next day I called Cliff Sears and informed him of our intentions, he said this could not happen and that he needed Our Sons orders. As my wife and I relayed our displeasure, he informed us Our Son would have to pay rental fee on the car they loaned him. After we pushed back and forth with him on this, I finally asked him what would the rental fee be? He informed us $30 per day X 14 days. I then told him our son would have the car back to him the next day. Upon returning the car, less $420.00 plus $85.00 taxes. Need I say more. Its takes a long legal arm to reach from Georgia to Watertown N.Y. .. Ive read a lot of the reviews a day late of course, but this is a prime example of how not to buy a car before you research.Widrick, when you read this review, if you have any decency, refund they money you took from our son under false pretenses.
Cliff did a fantastic job in helping me get into my jeep grand cherokee. He also helped with any question I had financially. Both about my credit and my payment and what I can afford etc. I inquired on the vehicle of my choice. In 1 day cliff called me and asked me when I could pick up my vehicle. He worked with me on my trade in vehicles and was very quick to respond to every nit picky question I asked. I was unhappy with 2 things upon pick-up and after voicing my concerns with him, he came up with a solution that satisfied me and took care of any issue I may have had. Even during this covid 19 cliff did everything still in a timely manner. I also had a full tank of gas to drive home in!!.

Absolutely heartbroken. July 2019 we bought a used Jeep from Widrick Auto Sales. A month later the check engine light came on so I brought it in, they “fixed” it for free. In September, the check engine light came on again. I brought it back, they “fixed” it again. What happens? Check engine light comes on. My car has been sounding horrible, and I only drive it to work and back (which is a total of 6 miles a day). I go take it into another shop today because it was just horrible. I know have to pay $1600 to get it fixed. Lesson learned. Don’t buy from Widrick.

I spent several days speaking to Claude (sales guy) and Cliff (finance guy/owner) about a rather expensive car with a very specific price tag. When we settled on the details of the transaction I went in to purhcase the vehicle and the price increased by 1600.00$. I didnt find out until they slid the paperwork across the desk for me to sign. And they did not try to rectify the situation at all. And I never knew Cliff (the finance guy) was the owner until I called to explain the unfortunate situation. Unreal! Very poor business practice. I will not be back nor would I recommend anyone else buy here EVER. Come on people - we can do better than this.

Came here once when I first arrived at Drum, I am mixed my wife was white, guy only talked to my wife and ignored me completely tried to sell her a ford explorer that was great and would last a long time, Well Once I told him I was the one putting up the money he did a 180 and completely ignored her and only talked to me asking how much money did I have to put down, I told him 7k and he said you dont want that old explorer that will barley last but this new car over here. I cant remember what that car was but that told me right away to get out of there. hope this helps especially new military

The first time I went it was to help my friend buy a car once I noticed how good of a Job David Fobare did with her I went back the next week to purchase my own. Being a woman you would expect a rip off but totally opposite. I knew what I wanted as far as payment and interest plan, and the style of car which is exactly what David gave me nothing more nothing less, needless to say I was and am pleased with the great care and customer service they provided as well as my brand new car.
I recently started using their service department on a vehicle I did not purchase from them. They are very friendly, fast, and honest. most recently I had a problem with steering. It was simply a tire issue and the charge was $23. Because they are so honest, I am purchasing four new tires from them. They did the price shopping for me and called me to confirm the best price before moving forward. I highly recommend them for service. When I am ready for a new vehicle, Widricks auto sales will be my first stop.

They were able to get financing I needed and a car that was within my budget. Free car washes once a month for life is nice. I should have went with my gut instinct however and walked away. They use all of the tricks in the book, lying about the previous owner, which I know was a male due to the smart key function in my focus. High pressure tactics such as saying theyve had several interested people and multiple sales members applying pressure at once. Ive overheard them discussing another customer and how they took them for all they could. Not surprising that a used car sales team is dishonest. I feel like I need a shower after every visit from all of the fake interactions. They helped me with my insurance, likely so they could choose to take photos that masked damage to a front quarter panel that they hid by parking closely. Be diligent when shopping, people.

STAY AWAY from widricks I tow in a lot of military kids he rips off with 21% loans and 1900 warranty’s without them knowing it Steve is bad news
Went in to check out 2 of the vehicles listed on their website. Claude the salesman was not to worried about showing the vehicles. We had to find 1 on our own in the lot covered in snow, it had 3500 miles over the miles listed on the website. Brakes and tires would barely pass inspection. I asked for something similar and his responce was the one you looked at is a good vehicle So I gave up and left. They even knew we had a check from our insurance for $20k for a vehicle. So we went to Fuccillos instead Not recommended. Service is bad.

Went there looking at cars an was greeted at the door by an older feller who was very rude first question. Was did you have an appointment then acted like we were putting him out because we didnt we the basically got blown off the entire time an they all sat there an stared the whole time was very rude finally they said we will call you tomorrow never called so I called them was told the sales person was busy an would call back he still hasnt called back two days later I wouldnt go back there if they offered me a free car
I went for photo inspection for my vehicle and it was easy and quick. They explained the process to me since its my first time registering a car in NY.
Wife had a Subaru Outback limited that was killing us monthly. I reached out to the staff at widricks told them what I was looking for. A few days later they had a vehicle for us to look at and we ended up buying it. Same size as the Subaru and in comparison the engines were close to being the same. Only difference is we were going to save 100+ a month. There were a few minor dents and scrapes that I pointed out to them and they said it would be taken care of. When I picked the vehicle up the dents and scrapes were pulled and buffed out. Havent had any major issues other than wear and tear items with this car in the 1 1/2 we have owned it. I decided 2 months ago it was time to get rid of my truck so I went back but they didnt have anything on the lot I was interested in so I gave them the loan term, monthly payment, interest rate and the specific vehicle I was looking for and gave them a week to find it. 4 days later they called and had a truck for me to look at. Needless to say they hit it right on the money. Monthly payment was exact, loan term was exact, the interest rate was where I wanted it to be and the truck was exactly what I was looking for. Just like my wifes car described earlier the truck has a few dings and scratches which THEY pointed out to me immediately and again assured me they would be taken care of and they were. About a month after I bought it I had an issue with it not starting, The sent out a sales rep with a jump box to get it started and they got it right into the shop same day and the following day ultimately replacing the battery at no cost to me. Overall Ive had great experiences at Widricks, best dealership Ive delt with thus far. Ill probably keep sending them to auction for my wife and I when its time for new vehicles. Going that route was the best decision we have made.

They are truly there to help accommodate you and fullfiful your needs so u walk out feeling satifsatied with what your driving. And ill tell you how i know this. My bank approved me for a small loan to get a vehicle i so desperately needed. But there were stipulations on what i was able to get. Had to be a 2013 or better . And the loan was only 10,000. Now theres my needs... I have 2 young children one whom is disabled and uses a walker. So i was hoping for a van or something with enough space to suit my needs for my kids and i. Something dependable that i could trust to get me to my daughters doctor appointments which are an hours drive or more. Something that will fit the things that use for her when packing to make these trips. Well, let me say, for weeks i looked and looked for something worthy. Nothing in this area was worth using this loan for that fit the requirements of the bank or myself. I was going to have to drive hours away from here to get what i needed. And i was scared dealing with sales men who ive always been told are out for themselves. NEVER TRUST A CAR DEALER. Well this isnt true for these guys. And im so glad i stopped in there on my way out to hit 81 . I walked in their door and Claude Loomis met me at the door. I explained my situation and he knew they didnt have anything on the lot that would help me . But spoke to another gentleman who after speaking to Claude went in his office and came back out to tell me they found something for me. Now, this my first time ever getting a loan, ever dealing with a car salesman who your told NOT to trust. So i was so nervous i was going to be taken advantage of. And this whole time im thinking they only want my check so thats why they trying to keep me there. To make a long story short, I just wanted to say they found something for me that couldnt be more perfect for my needs and the bank was satisfied. They kept everyone of their PROMISES to me. They didnt have it in their lot but found one for me and they went to get it. They had fixed it like brand new for me. New tires, new brakes and rotors, interior all fresh and new car smell. UNDER A 100,000 miles! So much room three row seats. Even after they got their money still they kept their word with the other little ( not really important things ) interior fixings without no procrastination. Weeks later im still so satisfied with my car. Still runs like a 2018. If anything i feel they probably didnt make much off doing this for me so that just comes to show they arent greedy or out for your money. They get more satifsatied that your satisfied. And on top of that FREE car washes for as long as you have their vehicle. I couldnt have gotten a better deal from anyone else who would have accommodated my needs as they did. thank you Claude for looking out. And to all the rest in the crew who went out of their way to help me . Im so grateful i stopped in there before i hit rt 81. Your a great group of people!!
Was looking at a jeep there, about 5 grand over priced. When I tried to negotiate the price, I kept getting bullcrap excuses of why they couldnt drop the price. Customer service was terrible, pricing is close to 5-6 grand over KBB value, and will not negotiate. I give them a 1 star. Will not do any more business with them.

Also went to check out some vehicles with a friend and a half a gallon of water came out the tailpipes of the Nissan Altima they showed my friend. This place sells lemons buyer beware!

I dont think they are selling cars and not inspecting them propoerly i bough a van and i went there and called they keept telling me that there is nothing wrong with it so i took it to a shop to see what was wrong with it because the enging light keet comming on the shop said it was the cadlicconverter what a rip off insp not done on some i think they just slap a sticker on and send you on your merry way and you get stuck with a big payment.

He was very willing to work around my work schedule and helped me get into my vehicle right away. I and my family have had no problems with our vehicles and can say because of the level of customer service and friendly staff we will continue to buy our vehicles from Widricks Autosales.
NOTHING BUT LIES AND HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!!I found my vehicle online and everything looked great, and was treated OK until the deal was done. I was assured and promised the vehicle was in working mechanical condition. Upon delivery of the vehicle I was assured it was under warranty and had nothing to worry about if there were any problems. THAT WAS A LIE!!! The vehicle failed safety inspection the next day after they had already taken my trade back to New York and was forced by the dealer to keep the truck. I called expecting them to honor my warranty and also be concerned that the vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive. After learning the vehicle was unsafe and also the parts werre covered under warrany, they still did not honor any nor care about the safety issues and the warranty they welched on. And when I expressed that they were doing was not only unethical but against the law, the manager MARC got on the phone and threatened me forcing my to keep the vehicle. He was extremely rude and had NO concept of ethics or how to treat a customer or how to honor proper business practices. I am now taking matters in to my own hands to fix the problems the dealer should have fixed, and was forced to take a vehicle I was not even close to happy with. I would not waste your time or money nor would I buy a car from a bully dealership. They lie to you and they promise the world but when the deal is done you better get a lawyer because you are going to need one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES WITH NO ETHICS.
Very uncomfortable experience with these guys, everyone was standoff ishe and rather rude, and the one gentleman I was working with took my car that I was trying to trade in for a test drive, and wouldnt allow my fiance or I to be in the car when he did. Never coming back.

Went to get a Geico photo inspection and was treated like they were bothered to do the inspection and when I walked there wasnt anyone there
They sell cars that need there oil pump fixed 😑 wouldn’t go here if I was you car almost killed me ! And they will try and double sell your car cannot be trusted
