Worst customer service and professionalism ever!!I had an appointment for my annual visit unfortunately my appointment was cancelled and I never got notified until I showed up.I lost a couple of PTO time with this unprofessional branch.They said that they called my phone number to confirm the appointment (which was not true!) They did send a text message asking for confirmation, I did confirmed and they sent an email asking for the same confirmation, I did confirmed as well.Looks like they just were overbook and the only solution I got was to reschedule, really???Will never go back again to this place!They need to respect customers time and dont lie in their face saying that you never confirmed an appointment when you did it twice in 2 different ways.Save your valuable time and go to a better place where they value your time and business, avoid this joke branch.I even got text messages and emails to remind of my appointment the day before.... what joke!!They didnt even apologize.Hope their manager will take corrective actions and customer service training for future customers.
I must say that I love vision works more now than ever. I am currently out of town an tore a contact and left my glasses at home. Long story short, Tania(retail supervisor) was more than helpful in assisting with a pair until I get home.Sooooo appreciated!
Vision Works in Mayfair Mall is the worst. I received a call from the person that verifies the insurance asking if I moved and changed ZIP Codes. I said no she said well you need to call your insurance to verify because I’m unable to verify. I said OK so I called the insurance verified what my plan was and call them back. I told her if I’m able to verify the information and give them my address and ZIP Code why can’t you do that and why are you having such a hard time. She asked me questions and say well I need you to call the insurance back and have them give us a call. WHAT! REALLY! Cancel my appointment and I’ll go where customer service is better. Every year it’s the same thing with them. DONE WITH VISION WORKS MAYFAIR.
Bailey was AMAZING at the Mayfair store today. She not only helped me order my Acuvue Oasys Transitions contact lenses she was instrumental in helping me choose two very affordable frames for my backup glasses. Her laugh is infectious & sweet. I am sure thwt her smile matches however she had a mask on!😁I will always look for her going forward! Great job!!!
THEY OFTEN DONT EVEN HAVE OPTOMETRISTS THERE ON SITE!! Im a physician myself and am appalled to see that in a specialty that relies so much on the physical exam, they do them remotely. This is essentially a neurological assessment with a focus on the eyes. How exactly do you do a high quality neuro exam or gynecological exam remotely? I would not trust my eyes and vision to this place. Advice from a physician, please go somewhere where you can confirm you will get a good quality physical exam and history.
Made an appointment and completed appointment paperwork online. When I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment was told it had been cancelled because it was not confirmed. When I pulled up the confirmation email sent earlier in the day, was told the email confirmation doesnt count.?

I will no longer be a patient here. The communication is poor and their safety protocols are trash. They were highly unprofessional at my last visit and did very little to nothing to make good the problems they caused. Their lack of customer service is disappointing.
Great experience! Was a little surprised the receptionist did part of the exam but overall the Dr. Was nice and easy to talk too. Wanted to mame note that the office is WITHIN the mall, just across from barnes and noble.
Call to confirm hours. Online said they open at 8 am, door says they open at 10 but they really opened today at 11. Great service once I was in the door, but would love to get 3 hours back to my day.
They were prejudiced and impolite. They sent us unwelcome glances. They claimed to have contacted me about my me and my daughters appointment, but I never received a call or received a voicemail. I would not suggest anybody here at this location because they are really unprofessional.
I just wanted to say I had one of the best experiences at the eye doctor ever. During Covid-19 I was given the option to have a virtual exam and I was a little perplexed as to how this was going to happen. Upon arriving I was given a temperature check and was immediately assisted by Visionworks employee Queal. She performed all required eye tests effortlessly and in a timely fashion. Her customer service skills were impeccable and she did an excellent job making me comfortable in preparation for the virtual aspect of the appointment. The virtual doctors were awesome as well and informed me of my eye health. The doctors corrected my vision to 20/20 and I left out of there well pleased! Keep up the good work!
Glasses were over $100 and fell apart in less than a year. I never dropped them. They literally fell apart on my face. The people here told me I broke them. I pointed out that the soldering on one side is faulty, and they ignored me and told me there was nothing they could do. They were rude when we bought them, so I guess I should have expected it when I went back with them. Go elsewhere, or better yet, buy online. So much cheaper, easier, and you don’t have to put up with rude cashiers who think they’re special because they sell poorly-made glasses.
Today I stopped in for my appointment. The store was very clean and every counter, stand or glasses pair I saw got sanitized. I met with Trequeal who was friendly and very helpful during my eye exam. She took the time out to walk me through how to activate my HSA card and how I could apply it to my purchase. If you are visiting this location please ask for Trequeal for 5 star service!!!!!!!!!!
Tania did a terrific job today taking my new eyeglass prescription and setting me up with new glasses in two weeks. Despite staffing challenges and my arcane medical insurance coverage, she was able to get my new glasses ordered. I was quite happy with her expertise.
Tanya (spelled differently) was wonderful. It was awesome working with her, she got my contacts to me in no time! I’m so grateful she assisted me, in a pandemic the small things matter and getting my contacts was important to me.
I have always had great customer service and a positive experience at Visionworks at Mayfair Mall-- today was no exception. Today, Tania was gracious enough to put in extra time and effort (over the phone) to help trouble shoot a service/insurance question I had and it was incredibly helpful! The staff there are so friendly and really go above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable and happy. This explains why they are always so busy! BUT even when they are crazy busy, they keep smiles on their faces and move things along so Im happy to keep coming here! (several years now). Thanks to all!
Tania was very considerate in understanding my unique situation with the lenses that needed replacement. She communicated very effectively and efficiently with me and prioritized my case once the businesses opened after Covid-19. It was just a matter of days before she took a special approval from the higher management (Martha) to get replacement glasses for me. What impressed me the most was that Tania went out of her way to ensure I was not without my glasses for even a day as I have a very high power. She got me a like-to-like replacement for both the frame and glasses while I was able to continue wearing my old pair of glasses. Tania (and every employee at the store) always had a smile in their tone behind the mask during their interactions with me :)... I also want to highlight the customer safety measures that the store had in place during my visit; you get temperature checked upon entering the store, the staff members wear masks at all times, the tables are wiped after every customer visit and before a new customer is seated, efficient service to keep the customers moving! VisionWorks is my familys favorite and the most trusted store!
The staff respected the schedule and I was seeing the Dr. on time. The Dr. was thorough and showed me my eyes magnified while explaining what was going on with my eyes. Everyone was so helpful and patient!! Anthony was an expert at finding any style of glasses in one glance! He was also congenial and professional while getting the glasses order set and at pick-up time.Quick, on time, friendly, accurate, professional.
I had an issue with my sunglasses and the staff member fixed the problem free of charge. Also, cleaned my glasses and gave me advice on caring for them in the future. I did not buy the sun glasses at this store nor am I a previous customer, but with that kind of service I would be happy to shop with them in the future.
I went in to look for glasses today and have had trouble finding ones that I liked. Nicholas V at the Mayfair store was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to find the right glasses for me and explained everything well that we were adding to the lenses. He was a very nice guy and honest about how styles fit, I would recommend this location and Nicholas to help you! He made sure I liked everything before we ordered my glasses!

I cant speak on any other Vision Works location. But Mayfair Malls location really strive to live by the 100% satisfaction guarantee they have hanging from there ceiling. I have my favourites Anthony and Theresa. Wait I cant say that because everyone there is always smiling and willing to help in anyway possible. Your never really going to get that from customers who are spending there money but the staff try to make you feel as comfortable as possible and happy. Thank you to them all but Anthony Ill see you next year for my yearly upgrade my guy.

Anthony and Jennifer at Mayfair’s Vision-works are so patient and through. They are kind and truly listen to you. We (my husband and I) meet Anthony on a Saturday night and the very next day we had an appointment for glasses. Jennifer helped us pick out frames that looked great for each of us. 🤓👓🤓 I highly recommend seeing each of them. They are a great team.
This Sunday, I sat on my glasses and bent the frame, popping out the lens. I went to Vision Works. I was enthusiastically greeted by Nicklaus. He immediately waited on me and fixed my lens. He noticed the nose pads were worn and replaced them. All for free. It is hard to get good service when you pay; but to get this kind of service for free, is simply amazing!! I would definitely recommend Vision Works.
So I work in the mall where this Visionworks is located, and theres this one woman named Tonya who is always yelling at other employees! She seems awful and I dont know how to handle the situation. Im hoping someone here can help me...thanks

Disgusting location horrible service. Employees are degrading, unfriendly, manager was unsympathetic. My prescription was REDONE THREE TIMES because of the negligence of this place. THEY MADE ME PAY FOR THE RETESTS AND OFFERED NO APOLOGY OR REFUND FOR THE BAD TESTS. Tried to make me pay $800+ dollars for ONE PAIR of glasses during a SALE. Take your money elsewhere this place is horrendous.
Great service from the entire staff and doctor! Theresa made my experience comfortable and took the time to explain the extensive lens options they offer. She also adjusted my glasses and they for comfortably and securely. Thank you vision works for making my experience so wonderful, I will be back! My daughter and I both had exams and were fitted for glasses on the same day. The eye doctor was very competent, but the office staff impressed me the most! I needed to change my glasses order the next day and they were so nice about it. Retail manager Nicholas V. deserves a special shout-out for being so friendly and really taking the time to make sure our glasses frames were a perfect fit. We will gladly use this Visionworks again next time anyone in our family needs an eye exam.
As an out of town customer of Visionworks. I lost my contact lens and called up the store to see if I could get a spare contact lens. I spoke with Nicholas and gave him my details which in turn he called my store in St. Louis. Nicholas was able to provide me an extra contact lens. Talk about fast amazing customer service!!! So happy that I got a spare lens!! Saved my trip. Will always be a Visionworks customer, thanks again Nicholas!!!
My experience at this location is always great! I had a very pleasant interaction with Jen that helped me with my contacts then I came back a couple weeks later for glasses. Shes very personable and honest which I vaule most!

Honestly very annoyed that I scheduled for my pickup at 11am but they don’t open their doors until 12pm. I had to wait an hour because their scheduling online doesn’t reflect their hours. I was waiting with another women who had scheduled her appointment at 11am as well. Staff inside was very rude explaining this to us.
I had to get 2 pairs of glasses after a domestic violence incident. I was very overwhelmed with trying to figure all of that out, but Nicholas was incredible! He walked me through all the different options for my lenses, special pricing with deals that were going on, how frames should fit, and helped me pick which frames looked best on me. Nicholas was beyond helpful, courteous, and kind. He listened and gave advice about my situation, and helped me to feel more at ease about everything. I would highly recommend this store!

I needed to replace a pair of glasses that I had worn for almost 6 years. I went in with my fiance and we worked with Alexis, who gave me some of the best customer service I have ever received. She made me feel amazing and helped me find a pair of glasses that I absolutely love.I had been in previously for an exam, and had a perfectly fine experience then too. I would recommend her and this location 100 times over.
I wish I could give this business zero or negative stars. First, I was prescribed contacts that were best described as “a bad box”. The evening of my new prescription, a contact broke into five pieces INSIDE MY EYE, which sent me to the emergency room. I had to have a nurse EXTRACT THE PIECES from my eye and the pain it caused kept me from a shift at work the following day. Visionworks employees chalked it up to a “bad box” and brushed it off. If that wasn’t bad enough, I tried to order more contacts two months later. I was told they didn’t have my brand and wouldn’t for two weeks. I needed extra contacts for work and asked if there was another brand I could have to get me by until then. About 30 minutes of horrible service and a bad attitude from the secretary later, I was told that they didn’t have trials of my contacts but asked if I wanted to PURCHASE AN ENTIRE BOX OF CONTACTS THAT ARE NOT MY CURRENT PRESCRIPTION. Are you kidding me? The customer service and quality of care I have received is nonexistent. Do not waste your time here.
The staff here is really professional and warm. Nick took a great deal of time helping my husband and myself find the perfect glasses. We were informed of when theyd be available and they were ready ahead of schedule.

If youre hoping to have vision as good as Mr. Magoo then this is the place to go. If youd actually like to be able to see go anywhere else. The staff at this location, particularly Jennifer P third key retail, are the rudest, most inept people Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She knows nothing about eyewear or customer service. I would not recommend this location or VisionWorks to anyone. If I could give it zero stars I would.
Had a very positive experience. Anthony helped me right away with a broken nosepad on my glasses, which I had not purchased at Visionworks. He also adjusted the temple piece. Very impressed. Really appreciated the help though I am not yet a customer. True customer service!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I recently went there for an exam (approximately 3wks ago) and I woke up the following day to the WORST eye infection that lasted approximately 1wk.... I went in on a Friday evening for a standard eye exam and Saturday morning I woke up to a nasty swollen eye, and happened to be called to pick up one of my glasses and when I arrived there and questioned one of the sales girls there about the cleanliness of the machines where you place your face and eyes (which I happened to use THREE machines) she got so offeneded as if I had insulted the cleanliness of her home. Not only was her attitude uncalled for but she lacked any empathy whatsoever.... Fast forward to Monday morning and my eye is so sore it cannot even be touched and was advised by drs to stay home from work and school to avoid contact with anyone else... I called the store to speak with management and was spoke to the assistant manager who let me know that the district manager or store manger (or who knows at this point) was going to call me...2 days pass and NO CALL...I go in on a Saturday evening (1wk after the incident) to pick up my 2nd pair of glasses and questioned the manager whom I spoke with on the phone if the main manager was going to call me and he reassured me that yes she was and I even pointed out to him the employee that was so rude which he commented that he already knew who I was talking about...FAST FOWARD TO 3WKS LATER and the manager has yet to call me! DISGUSTING SERVICE and I wont be doing business there ever again and you should think twice about going there for your own vision needs.... #dirty

My experience with this VisionWorks has been great. . .not only when I first went for an exam and then got glasses, but even afterward. About 6 months later, my frame seemed not to fit right. I stopped in the store (expecting I might need to make an appointment). As soon as the staff was finished with another customer, she asked how she can help, and then immediately tightened screws, replaced a nose piece, checked the fit, and cleaned them, without charge. Thats great follow-up service.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a nice lady, Tandalaya, (actually from the Brookfield location) she let us know that she was just finishing up with another customer and that shed be right with us. We went to the Visionworks located in Mayfair Mall. There were one or two other workers there and she was the only one that I acknowledged our entrance. After just a few minutes she did come back up to us and began to ask questions about what Our son was looking for. After that, that was her focus and looked all over the store for different styles and colors that would match his complexion, shape of face and style needs. When it came to the blue set, her first try was a win-win with our son! I was just elated with the experience. Were not completely sure of her position, but we do believe that she definitely should be promoted! ASAP! just wanted to say thanks again for making how are teenager so happy.

Ive gotten my glasses twice at Vinson works and every time I go, they are very nice. There isnt ever a time were you had to wait forever to talk to someone. They always have what you need and so many different styles of glasses. Ive gone to other places to look at their glasses but they never have a good selection like Vison works!
The vision works at Mayfair was great. The manager Theresa made the experience seamless. Theresa made many suggestions on the style of frames I should go with which saved me almost $100.
Nicholas was super helpful these last few days. I had originally gone to a different visionworks last year and I needed to know some information. Since I was going to Mayfair for a movie, I figured I could stop there. He contacted that store and got that information faxed over. He knew we had a movie to run too so he told me I could come by the next day. The second I walked in the next day he instantly recognized me and actually continued the conversation we were having the previous day. He was super helpful and patient and I would highly recommend him and the Mayfair location to everyone.

Horrible, arrogant service and staff. They on numerous occasions tried to charge me co-pays that were not applicable and the provider of my insurance had to call to correct the. A grievance has been filed. They will go out of their way to over charge you.
Bought a new set of glasses for my 6 yr old with a Guess frame. Took 2 weeks to deliver. Took delivery at closing time and my son wore it for maximum 1 hour. Next day morning, the frame is broken at the hinge. The lady to the counter alleged that my son must have stepped on it causing it to break. But how can a 6 yr old step on the glasses without dislodging the lens, and without twisting the entire frame etc, i wonder! The frame was of poor merchantable quality and should not have been sold to us. End of the story! Paid big money for this including a protection plan. Now i have to pay $20 bucks to get the frame replaced under the protection plan. I will never shop here again.

We have gone to this location for.about 5 years without any problems. I am extremely disappointed in how our appointment went today. I brought my daughter in to get contacts. They never told us that she would require two visits on order to actually get the contacts. They insist that a one hour fitting class be scheduled on a different day and cant be in the evening or on a Sunday. And they insisted that we pay upfront for.the fitting class.

I just left because I was waiting for 25 minutes past my appointment time. Zero customer service. No explanation or apology. I wont go back to any Visionworks location and wont have anything good to say to friends and family about Visionworks. Why make an appointment for a specific time when its not honored?

Terrible service! I seleted glasses and gave the salesperson my Rx. They said itd be $450, even with my good insurance. When I said I couldnt afford that, they spent some time on the computer and got it down to $140. I asked why the BIG difference and they said they took off a bunch of permium options - meaning they add them w/o asking or telling me. When I went to get the glasses, a person took me to the exam waiting area, w/o asking my name or why I was there (I had my receipt in their bright red envelope!). After a quick adjustment to the glasses, I was told thank you. I was not given a cleaning cloth or cleaning solution!
