Always the very best source for paint, stain and all that goes with it...love this place! The staff will always lead you to exactly what you need. Their paints and stains completely crush the competition. I appreciate the amount of pigmentation and the stellar luxuriant consistency, which not only makes the application easier, but also more enjoyable.

Like I said before, you can take 1 gallon of HL paint in a empty 5 gallon bucket, then add 1 gallons of water power mix it with a drill, what you got then is the consistency of big box store paint, if you read the label the specs are 2-3 times thicker then those other guys down the street (cover the earth) similar price lower quality. Dont pay for water.

I’m new to this house stuff, so they willingly took a bit of time to help me understand the stain matching process for a breakfast nook I am working to update. Really felt like they cared about getting the color right. to my knowledge, not too many competitors will put this type of effort in to make a stain match for wood.Also picked up some clear caulk- they helped me figure out what I needed to get that done as well.

Everyone who works here is friendly, sincere, and takes interest in your project. The staff is knowledgeable (unlike the big box stores and their made up answers). The actual products are truly amazing... made IN Wisconsin, and made FOR Wisconsin. You cant go wrong. They also have everything else youd need for your project, including colors and colors and colors.... My only advice is to ensure they are open when you want to stop in, the hours are a bit restricted compared to other paint stores, but its worth finding time in your schedule to go!
