I wish this place did not close two years ago i liked it a lot more than the new ace. The true value had a very good selection for plumbing.

Neighborhood store with Very traditional product selections and services. I had broken glass in cabinet doors. They were very easy to work with. They needed a couple days to complete the work. Took my info and told me they would call when to pick up. NO drama and I was off to the rest of my day. They had a nice selection of waste baskets at reasonable pricing. I purchased 2. And its always pleasant to see the hardware candy variety at the check out....Im always pleased and never stressed out at these neighborhood type stores...Ive come here often, and will Im sure in the future....dont forget to thumbs up if you like the review

Probably the best customer service I have ever had. I was approached by employee immediately to assist me. Guy searched thru the clearance section and saved me at least 10 dollars if not 20 dollars, and I was able to afford more tools after he found the clearance item for me. Excellent excellent excellent thank you guys!Edit: last time I went in there, they were doing a grill auction. Also, they helped me find a good deal on my windshield wipers. Saved me money. Again.

Everyone is super nice and helpful here! The employees always acknowledge me when I walk through the door and always answer any questions I have, as well as carry items to my car. I live approximately 2 blocks away and its nice to have a local hardware store so close for all my winter needs.

My first time there and my 9 month old had a huge blowout, I asked one of the clerks if the womans bathroom had a changing table and she said no, but shed find someone to help me.A few minutes later a gentleman approached me to let me know the manager was on his way. He said he had a spot for me to change my son... I was over the moon impressed with how accommodating everyone was. Thank you!!

Thank goodness there are still small hardware store such as Puhls! I came in with a long list of things to buy, some I wasnt sure where Id look for them, and a really nice gentleman caught me right as I walked in and helped me massively, finding everything I needed. Used to be a great neighborhood place but my last visit was terrible, the sales guy was rude and uninterested in doing his job. Hopefully it was an anomaly.

I bought what I thought was a value pack of furnace filters for $29.95. When I got it home, my husband opened it. In reality, it was one 3 inch thick filter and not 3 one inch filters. Unlike the big box stores, Puhls would not allow my husband to return it. A manager was called and the cashier told the manager that if filters are opened they cannot be returned. He did not know but agreed with the cashier. In disgust, he left it on the counter saying since it is useless to me you can throw it away. I wont be going to Puhls anytime in the near future.

Overcharged for lawnmower maintenance; two months later still doesnt run. They say, Call back tomorrow. But they are profusely sorry. The owners will not respond. Ace on Lisbon and 85th charges half the price, also a neighborhood store. I am profusely sorry I didnt go there.

The sales associate was extremely rude. I asked him for some help and he was not happy about it complaining that the nuts/bolts section was being moved and he knew where nothing was. It was obvious he didnt want to be bothered.
