Kirk is wonderful and has been helping us for years. Weve been going to this location for 30+ years. The only negative was this time the finance person was very rude and stated we could NOT have an item. However we didnt need financing and could buy it out right. She had nothing to say to us after that. I know its hard to find people for these positions but shes made us feel like we shouldnt come back after all these years. Everyone else is great though so we just wont deal with her any longer.
Schewels of Waynesboro has some of the most helpful employees Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They went out of there way to find and retrieve the exact chairs my wife and i wanted. One employee even went out of town to pick one up for us. They have my thumbs-up as a first rate furniture store.

On a Recliner and 8 to 10 weeks later she messaged me and said she had one that had just come in she sent me a picture and I left Lexington and drove to Schewel,s in Waynesboro I couldnt hardly believe it, I bought it and love it. I am very pleased with the service I received in the store. The sales associate was very pleasant, patient and professional. She gave me information on the items which I was interested in and also informed me of other products. The delivery of my bed was expedited on Friday so that I had something to sleep on as soon as I moved into my new home. I truly appreciate it and my bed is very comfortable. Am awaiting the delivery of the rest of my bedroom set and sofa. I have been shopping with Schewels since 2015 and am very pleased with their goods and service. Would recommend this store to anyone.

As soon we walk in,Kirk greeted us with a smile,ask how we where doing.The sweet lady up front in the financial department, where kind and sweet and made you feel welcome and wanted.They explain everything to us and never rush threw it.We are very satisfied and will be going back for more furniture.

The shopping experience at Schewel Furniture was one of the best! Pat Deeds, sales associate was not at all pushy and let us wander around in our own time. We found the sectional sofa, ottoman and rug we were looking for and are extremely pleased with our purchase. Shopping at Schewels was an extremely pleasant experience. August 20th 2021. I also bought a sofa and love seat last week from Schewels and am so glad I did. The Quality is fantastic and once again the service we received from Schewels was first class.

I purchase a sofa from schewels back in June. I paid about $600.00 for it that also included delivery charge. Come to find out it was a used sofa. I lost something down the side of sofa i reached down to retrieve it i pulled out a glob of dog hair, candy, Christmas wrapping paper. So since when does Clarence mean use. My sister bought a side by side refrigerator from them she was making payments on it they didnt want to repair it so my niece whom works in law in forcement had to go there and tell them to fix the problem that her mom was have with it. It took over 4 months to have it repaired. They are a horrible place as well as expensive place to shop
I came in looking for a dining table. The salesman showed me the perfect one to fit in my apartment where you need a small table. When not needed you can put down both sides but if you have guests you can put up the sides and seats four. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very happy with my experience and will definitely come back anytime I need a piece of furniture.

While the people in the store may be friendly, if something goes wrong, youll wish you had not given them a penny! I bought a recliner sofa set and when it was delivered the couch only had 4 of the 8 little rubber feet, leaving half of the couch sitting directly on bolts on my wood floors. Because the feet are so little, it wasnt immediately obvious, but once we saw the scratches we flipped the couch over to see the missing feet. The store managers first suggestion was that I buy my own feet or coasters because they didnt have any extra pieces around. After requesting to actually get the feet that go with the others she did have those sent to me, though I had to call back to have them send the bolts needed to attach them. It took several weeks for me to get a call back from Laura at corporate, though she swears she has called, she just doesnt leave messages because she likes to give a personal touch. I would think letting someone know youve called and are concerned would be a personal touch? Isnt that the whole point of voicemail? Laura clearly does not understand customer service as she first suggested that nobody actually puts furniture directly on wood floors, then since I signed off on delivery it would not be their responsibility. She then said the scratches were the result of me moving the couch, and therefore it couldnt be their responsibility. All in all, i really wish I had gone to Grand or really anywhere else. Dont get lured in by any deals - Im definitely feeling like Im getting what I paid for and it sucks!And your response says all anyone needs to hear. You actually could satisfy me by admitting your install folks screwed up (there are other reviews confirming this is not the first time), your customer service folks didnt handle it great (again - not the first time youve heard this), and taking care of your obligation. But sounds like thats a bit too much to expect from you all.
My only complaint is I live 5 minutes away an I was charged $100 for delivery.. I haven’t received my items yet because I have to wait for the next available date which was 1 week from my purchase date.

I wasnt happy being told I would have my chair delivered on one date and put a different date on my paper only to find out the salesperson didnt tell me that is was on to truck to get to the store on the 2 of June and had it on the truck to be delivered to me on June 5 I told her it had to work thursday and friday. Why would I agree too have a delivery on a day I not going to be home.
Ive bought so much from Schewels and will continue to keep going back. My grandmother is a faithful customer and I have definitely followed in her foot steps. The customer service is always friendly and helpful. If youre a long time customer in good standing, they truly make you feel appreciated and are very accommodating. Ill always recommend them!

The people working here are nice when you are buying furniture but once something comes up no one wants to help you. I bought a bed for my little brother about 2 years ago and the salesperson told us that it had a 10 year warranty on it. Over the first year the bed had gotten a huge dip in it and my brother could no longer sleep on it comfortably. When I tried to call about the issue I was put on hold for maybe 10 minutes before another person picked up the phone. I explained what had happened and told the lady what bed I had bought and she informed me that the bed only had a 1 year warranty on it, despite the man who sold it to us telling us it had a 10 year warranty, and told us that there was nothing that could be done. When I tried to speak with corporate, they just apologized for the misinformation but still refused to do anything to help me out. If you get furniture from Schewels you had better hope that it holds up because if not they arent going to do anything to assist you.

I purchased a living room suit last year in February right before Xmas this year i reported that I have a dent in the arm of my loveseat and chair where they didn’t have enuff stuffing in it. I don’t have no small kids i don’t have many people in and out of my house but they tell me they can’t fix it bec of wear and tear...after it was paid in full... I will never buy or refer anyone to buy from Schewel’s Furniture.
