Employees Corron and Gary went way out of their way to help me both replace a defective 4-port charger without any hassles, and also loaned me the tools to remove diffuse it blue and replace it! Very helpful and positive energy here. This and all Auto Zones will let you do a free code scan and print out the results to help you get the info to verify or DIY your auto repairs. Thank you!

Great service. I feel so bad for the employee holden, a lady ( karen) had no receipt and wanted a part the employee told her she needed the receipt. She then proceeded to start yelling at him and his fellow Co worker. I feel so bad for him no one should be yelled at like they are not human.

My car battery was dead today when I went out to start it up. A roadside assistance company that I pay a membership fee for sent someone out and he diagnosed my old 2002 Subaru Outback with needing a new battery. He quoted me a price that was IMO astronomical but I had a full day of things to do so I agreed to let him change it.As he was trying to change the battery he wasn’t able to take a tie down thing apart. So he said ‘“take it to somewhere like Auto Zone” because they can replace the tie down part.Thanks so he gave me a charge and I went on my way and 5 mins later I was at Autozone.I was greeted by an employee named Holden. I started telling him about what had just happened and he ran a test for me on my battery. He didn’t get that it was a bad battery, just that it wasn’t charged.While Holden was briefly inside getting something, an employee named Jerome approached me and asked if i was being helped.Holden came out and together they checked my engine and gave me all of the options of what the problem could be. We made a game plan, together. And their battery check said it wasn’t bad it was just uncharged.Because the contractor didn’t tell me to keep my engine running for an hour after he charged it.Holden and Jerome did. They were honest and professional and I will be a life long customer.What a breath of refreshing genuine kindness on a hot day when all my plans were melting.Thank you Holden and Jerome!

Of course, the first morning the temperature was in the 20s, my car battery didnt want to kick over. I went to AutoZone and they were great! The women behind the counter was so nice and helpful, she tested my battery, determined it was dead and helped me select a new one. After I had the receipt in my hand a gentleman was walking out to my car to replace the battery. It was quick, easy and pleasant.

Ill start off by saying im black myself. The small short black woman with braids and glasses that works there has to be the rudest individual. Poiinting fingers at customers and openly saying she has problems. Claims she knows what she is doing but i get a different answer the following day. Makes no sense and she needs to be demoted.

The belt went on my older snowblower and in a pinch decided to give my local West Chester, PA AutoZone a try. Knowing it was a shot in the dark, I went in and was immediately greeted by Mariah. Told her the situation and she didn’t hesitate to help. She attempted to look up the length of the belt needed in the system and found a couple of possibilities that closely resembled my broken belt. Went home and tried it and was a little too short. Returned to the store and got one that was an inch bigger that ended up working out perfectly. If it wasn’t for Mariah’s help, my back would have been shot from shoveling our long driveway. Thank you again Mariah!!!

Autozone employee accidently fell into our car and scraped it. Manager came out and claimed that there was no way for him to have done the damage that was on the car...despite the fact that we were there and saw it happen while she was inside the whole time and didnt see it. Employee apologized and suggested offering some buffer solution on the house, but the manager refused to take responsibility for the incident when she came out to look. Its a shame that the employee was honest and trying to take responsibility for an accident, while the manager spent her time trying to avoid blame and act like we were liars. We wont come here again and recommend that you dont either!

I had a very poor experience with store manager Mariah. She sold me a battery and tacked on an extra charge for “grease” that I never received. I came back to question and she gave me filthy attitude and demanded that I needed it. Never going back to this Autozone.

Went here a few weeks ago, and the staff was awesome! The young man that helped my partner and I had a great sense of humor, but was still knowledgeable and professional! We were looking for touch up paint for our vehicles, and he helped us figure out where to find the paint color info to exact match our vehicles. He also helped up explore rust stop options as well. We will definitely be going back here for our auto needs!

I went to replace a faulty battery this morning, in and out in 10 minutes. The lady at the counter was professional and gentleman helped change in minutes. I have had bad autozone experience at other locations (Upper Darby, City Ave) but this was a pleasant surprise. Great customer service and thanks for making the transaction hassle free!

Store #6424. Big shout out to Corron who has helped me on more than a few occasions with replacing headlights especially. But my most recent visit on April 28 during this COVID pandemic, I needed my battery replaced. He is super professional and had just started his shift. And he always has a smile on his face. He came out with mask and gloves on and did a full replacement. Ive always felt great going into that store knowing that the staff is ready to help. There were a few people after me in the parking lot waiting too. During this uncertain time, a lot of people are stressed and having that piece of mind with a car issue is a huge help. Thanks for Corron and the entire crew at the West Chester store.

Stopped in today for a new battery for my daughters car. Price was reasonable. Rob S. was very courteous and went out of his way to help us out. He also caught an issue with the wipers that could have been dangerous had my kid been out driving in bad weather. I wouldnt have caught the problem myself until it was too late.

I stopped in here last night to grab a replacement lamp for my work truck. The staff was extremely friendly and one gentleman even double checked the part number to ensure that it would be comparable with the Ford Special Services package. The store is also very clean.

I always go to AutoZone when I need parts fast. They usually have what I need in stock. Prices are competitive. That said, this location has some personel issues. The manager should step up and do some training.

Called this location to ask if they could test my check engine light (as they advertise). They flat out refused. When I notified them that all other locations including Springfield PA have done this for me in the past they quickly encouraged me to go to that location. Terrible service.

After buying a battery for 169 with 3 years of warranty my wife was charged 18 dollar for them to keep the old battery. This is ridiculous! We have three cars, I will never use AutoZone again. I felt that my wife was taken advantage of.

Today I went to this AutoZone to replace my car battery and a young woman who worked there with tattoos and colored hair was rude and disrespectful right off the bat. She continued to spew foul language and ended up charging me $20 more than she was supposed to and when questioned she said she just wasnt paying attention. On the other side the other man there working, John, was so helpful, charismatic and genuine.

It is a newer store the employees were very helpful I just noticed that auto-zone prices are a little higher then I would like them to be but overall experience at 90...👍

Finally, AutoZone in West Chester. Now I have the option to shop either in this store or across the street with their competitor with one trip.I dont understand why an area like West Chester flooded with auto shops (franchise and individual) lived with only one part store (you know who I mean: Pep boys). Advance and NAPA are far away from downtown.Anyway, I did three visits to this store so far.Everything looks organized and well stocked.Staff are very helpful, some of them looked new to the business despite their good automotive knowledge, but thats normal for a new store.

Associate was very helpful; found correct turn signal bulbs, got out a driver, and helped me replace them. She solved my problem quickly, cheaply, and efficiently. Thanks!

My windshield wipers broke in the middle of a snow storm. The store manager of Autozone went outside in the snow to help me take my old wipers off and replaced them. He really went above and beyond and I was so grateful.

This is the second time Ive been to AutoZone in the past week and I have never heard such foul language dropped in front of me and other customers. It is unprofessional and uncomfortable. I am not sure what her name is but she has tattoos and darker red hair. I am very disappointed and I will not be going back there. However, as for John, he went above and beyond to help my roommate replace her battery.

I stop into this location every so often when I’m shopping for parts and supplies to maintain my fleet of personal vehicles. The reason I’m going out of my way to write a review is because I was in recently with my 4 year old son. We came in to return some exhaust clamps that weren’t needed in a recent project. Transaction complete, we started to browse the isles. Despite being asked repeatedly before leaving home, my son insisted on using the bathroom in the middle of our AutoZone outing. The staff was courteous and understanding, allowing us to use the bathroom (which was surprisingly clean)On the way back to the floor, an associate named Joe asked me if I found evething ok and we got talking about a heater hose reducer for my 71 CJ5 Jeep. It was an odd ball part that he couldn’t come up with for me. A few days later, Joe went out of his way to call my home to share he found what I needed—talk about going above and beyond.I have consistently found this group of folks in West Chester to be very friendly, professional and considerate. Do not hesitate to frequent this business as I have, you won’t be disappointed.8 month later update - I have visited several times since my original review, all with the same level of satisfaction. The reason Im adding to this review is because last month (January 27th) my oldest son and I ran out to pickup a can of spray paint so we could get his Pinewood Derby car painted in time for the big event the following weekend. We pulled into the parking lot literally as the associates were locking the doors. Two men were working (I wish I noted their names) and while they wanted to end their day on time, when I explained we were there to pick the perfect blue paint for my sons car they let us in. My son was so excited, and I was so appreciative.I continue to be impressed by the team at this location, specifically. Kudos to AutoZone for employing the kind of people who clearly care about what they do and the impact it has on their customer base.

Please dont shop here. They are beyond incompetent. The employees know virtually nothing about auto parts, let alone their stores policies or procedures. During one visit a teenaged employee gave me his business card soliciting his mobile auto repair services, while spewing nonsense about a repair he clearly had no experience with. If you have a problem with your parts, dont expect any help from the general manager Nels. He will be entirely indifferent and make you feel like a total inconvenience.There are too many options to bother shopping here. Please learn from my mistakes and take your business elsewhere.
