This will be my place for car repairs going forward. They did an excellent job repairing and getting my car back to running perfectly.

I have been going to Alternative Automotive for the past 18 years and Howard has taken care of my cars flawlessly. Howard has a lot of expertise in variety of cars and models. He is an honest individual, with a very reasonable rate, and does a good job every time. I couldnt be any happier. I own Japanese cars (Honda, Mazda,...) and keep up with the maintenance schedule of the cars. I will be his customer as long as I live in this area.

Howard is always straight forward and honest with the work that needs to be done. Never adds on things unless he truly feels its a good idea, and always calls first. Prices are either reasonable or flat out low. He has been very flexible with times and how we get our car to him. I wish he was a tad easier to get to but hes VERY worth it (and thats more my problem than his).

We were down in the Melbourne area on vacation and started having issues with our transmission. We meet with Howard the owner who graciously fit us in his schedule and was able to not only fix our vehicle, but did it at a low cost and timely manner. We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a trust worthy mechanic.

As a single woman, Im often looked at as a target for an easy buck... but Howard always treats me fairly. He doesnt try to up-sell, and he goes above and beyond what he needs to do to take care of my car. Hes even come to my house when I couldnt get my car started. I trust him implicitly. Unfortunately, with this car, Ive had to see him a few times... but I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him as an honest businessman. Hes always fixed my cars problems. I would take my car to him over the dealership any day, and I do!
