My AC stopped working on a hot Friday evening. I searched and found Meineke who specializes in this type of repair, plus they were open on Saturday. My AC works great again and I am very glad I went to this particular shop.I appreciate both Tom Gaeth (Manager) and Dustin ( Repair Technician) for their great guidance and for replacing the blower motor assembly. Also, Dustin paid attention to the many fluids that had never been changed, such as transmission, brake, and cooling fluids. In the past I just got oil changes and no one ever suggested that I get these changed out too. I took his advise and got them changed and now my car runs so much better.I also enjoyed hearing some of Toms great advice on other aspects of cars. He is very knowledgeable and even told me how to get the squeak out of my garage door. He successfully helped about a dozen people while I was waiting. I found him to be professional, friendly and made waiting so much better.

My car was overheating turned out it needed a intake manifold with gasket replacement. I brought my car up to Meineke auto repair on wickham rd Melbourne fl. To have them do the replacement (I bought my own parts). I go back to get my car and when I did my A/C was not working before I brought my car to them my A/C worked PERFECTLY there was absolutely nothing wrong with my cars A/C. So me thinking it needed Freon I bought a can of Freon and brought it to another auto repair to assist me with the Freon as they were putting in the Freon the car started smoking and leaking coolant. They did nothing but make my car worse. Spent $757 for them to ruin my car. Also my Freon cap was removed and when I asked about it they said they did nothing with the A/C or went by the A/C they are very unprofessional and will NEVER use them again I also spoke to several other mechanics who stated they over charged us. The photo in this review is my car after they “repaired” it.

Tom was a real pleasure to work with. They got my truck in for a level kit, wheels and tires in one day! The staff was real professional and friendly. I’m happy that they where able to fix my flat tire, however getting a nailed pulled out and a plug put in was $40 AND I waited over 1 1/2 hours for it to be done. I Was told that “it would just be a few minutes” Employees where obviously very stressed and where yelling and cussing at each other and if it wasn’t an emergency I would have went to my normal place. Only positive was the customer service the men at the front were very nice to me and even let me borrow a charger for my phone. If it’s urgent you get work done or not in a rush I would say this is a pretty ok place.

Had new muffler and new pipes installed and welded. Tech also added a couple hangars to better support exist pipes. Work was fast and professionally done. It’s a bit higher on cost as opposed to mom and pop muffler shops but I’m very pleased with the entire experience. I thought the labor included the welds but you pay for each weld needed on top of the labor charge.

Everyone at the location with Wickham Rd were very efficient, respectful and had my vehicle done by the time I got off work. Very happy customer.

Showed up, walked in and they immediately took my information and soon after looked at my muffler to give me a price to replace it with my Flowmaster Super44 which was a really decent price. Told them I wanted it done and they had it finished and ready to go in about an hour. Super great guy in the front, straight forward and isn’t lying to anyone about anything.

This was my first time here. I loved the customer service there. Everyone had positive attitudes. They got me in the same day. I needed cracks in my exhaust to be welded back together and they did a great job. Even left some words on the my exhaust pipe that I loved. I asked for it. 😂 Great sense of humor here. This was my first experience here and I enjoyed every minute being there. The wait time and price I cant complain about. As each customer came in, I observed nothing but kindness. You definitely could tell who the regular customers were and they seemed to treat them like family. I highly recommend this place.

We had our alternator fixed. It had been replaced at another meineke three months previous. We were out of town when the alternator went out again. The two shops talked and fixed everything that day without charge. It was extremely convenient and they were both very kind. We were very happy with the work and the price both times we went.

At the beginning of summer my AC wasnt working right. They got me fixed the same day. Here we are months later and my AC started messing up again, I went back and AGAIN they got me in the same day around my work schedule, found my issue, they had the parts on hand AND it came with a lifetime warranty. I drove out a hour and half later with my fixed vehicle and a smile. I will definitely come back here for all my AC needs and recommend them for any auto needs you may have. (I would use them more if my husband wasnt a mechanic, he just doesnt mess with AC lol.)Thank you!!

I brought my CR-V in to replace my a/c compressor, expansion valve and fix my cars alignment. The mechanics struggled to get a specialized Honda specific bolt off the old compressor without breaking it and ended up breaking my resister when dropping the dashboard to replace the expansion valve; but this repair shop did more for me than any authorized dealership would have ever thought about.They didn’t charge me extra for the resister or the extra time and labor on my car, I only paid for the estimate in the very beginning. No extra charge ever. When my car wasn’t finished by the end of the work day Friday, they drove me home free of charge. Saturday they still weren’t finished with my car by the end of the day, so Sunday the receptionist offered to drive me wherever I needed to go free of charge because I was left without a car. It was finished Monday once the new resister arrived, and they drove my car to me because I was at work and couldn’t come pick it up.This place did mess up a bit and I will admit, I was a bit frustrated, but they all did so much more than any dealership would ever do.

Ill tell you what, I looked this shop up online, they had really good reviews, I think some of the guys are from the northeast/tri-state area which is good because people that come from that area are no BS and work...do their job, these guys did the job and at a reasonable cost, I had brake pads on al 4, rotors on the front, 2 tie rods replaced on the front sway bar, and a check engine light issue which was a bad solenoid on the EVAP system on the fuel tank replaced and the spare tire holder repaired from an accident that had bent it and they didnt have access to the solenoid, under $1000, and everybody there was great to work with, honest, and showed me everything that they found. I highly recomend this shop.

The most professional establishment I ever been to for car service. They explain to me in detail all of my issues. I’ve been coming to this shop since I moved here and will continued to come here for all of my car service needs.Every staff member there is kind. That what you want and will get from a family owned business.Worth every dollar.

The service its self was done well. I got an oil change and they did it correctly and in a timely manner. However, the customer service was not good. The facility itself was super dirty and gross, mcdonald’s packages and cigarettes everywhere. The whole place smelled like smoke and the floor looks like it has never seen a mop on its life, i saw several roaches. The employees were coughing up flem while talking to me and we’re cussing. At this point it was funny, but they get the job done.

Gave me real description of my cars problem. Two solutions were offered, one $1700.00 or $200 for a welde that would be comparable to a whole new muffler

Went to get exhaust tips put on my corvette. The job was done in a very timely manner and the tech installed them perfectly. I was very pleased with the work.

Edit: Rating is based on my experience at this Meineke shop. Waited 4hr after my car was taken in, was told i have missed/loose screws but that might not be the source of the problem but hey look over here you have this other problem that looks serious but you might want to take care of that because it could cause oroblems so much uncertainty and guessing, i dont trust this shop or the their mechanics!

Been coming to Meineke for years. Not sure if Ill go back. I went in for an advertised $24 oil change and it cost me $41. Had to pay extra for labor, oil filter, shop supplies and extra oil. Not sure what constitutes an oil change if you have to pay extra for everything they do.

I had my daughter’s Ford Escape muffler replaced. Quick and convenient service. I called at 1pm and dropped off at 1:30pm, it was done at 3:30pm.

They did an awesome job on my ac.

They were nice and did good work but they said I was preapproved for a Meineke card and I wasnt so it effected my credit bureau negatively and then they told me 3 different times that my car should be done by, non of which was the case. I understand that there was a lot of work to be done but dont tell me something you cant deliver on. This affected my holiday plans and my day because I was misled about time. Other than those things like I said, they did a good job and at the very end they stayed over to make sure my car got done and didnt charge me labor on a part they had to install which was found at the very end. They also gave me a ride home from the shop when I was without transportation. They also didnt give me a hard time about my interlock system which many mechanics have, and were careful to follow directions about not detaching the battery so that my interlock didnt go into reset mode and cost me a violation. So, overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend, just dont have expectations regarding what they tell you regarding time and be mindful of the credit card screen.

Great customer service! The manager is so friendly that the minute you enter the office area you know you make the right decision. They make you feel like you are an old customer. The quote he gave me was lower than the ones from the two previous shops I visited. The technician that performed the job was very professional and skillful. He explained the whole process and offered me options on how to do the job. The final product was excellent. One thing that impressed me was the level of importance they give to the safety of their customer specially when they invite you to see the progress of the job. Great crew, great management. Called the day prior to schedule an aftermarket exhaust installation on my 2021 Civic hatchback sport. Installation went very well and Im more than satisfied with how it turned out. Was told it may take 3+ hours since they never worked with the 2021 models of Honda but it ended up only taking less than 2 hours.

AC Repair is always expensive, but the workers were honest. Before the repair they called me and tried to save me $250 dollars if I came back a few days later and got the compressor that was out of stock but not lifetime warranty. I chose to still get the repair and pay for the lifetime warranty compressor. The work was done professionally. I will return there for future service

Very impressed I was able to walk in, (they were busy), provided me a quote and installed muffler at a great price inside an hour and a half..

Because reasons, I dropped my ride off early one day with no appointment. I figured theyd be booked up so I didnt expect it to be ready for a couple days at least. They managed to get the needed part and do the work and have it ready for me by 4pm the next day. Nice.

S*** after quoted me a price of $57 for a semi synthetic oil change, charge me $66 for this service after completed.when I stated that I needed to call my mother to get the credit card information to pay for the oil change he the manager stated he would not do that. that he needed an id able person in front of him. Refused to let me do a post-dated check stating it was a felony. Refused to let me have the car to leave to go and obtain the money from my mother, as she is owner of car and cannot drive right now due to Covid. After he accepted my credit card oh, he did not ask for an ID. I went to jiffy lube and asked if they would have called my mother to obtain the credit card information they stated Sure, no problem. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Brought in my 1970 mustang to get a new exhaust system, upgrade entire front suspension, convert front drums to disks, and install brake booster and sure enough they were able to handle it. The service was great and price was fair, Dustin and the other mechanics helped me out a lot and were very knowledgeable and kept me up to date. The stang was done within a week and I couldn’t be anymore happier.

My starter went bad so I took it in and they were able to not only change it in a timely manner, but also gave me an awesome deal that was much lower than quotes from other maintenance places. The guy I worked with was extremely transparent and motivated to help. I already recommended them to someone else today. 100% will come back for my car needs.

Prices are too high,business on wickham. I was not made aware of the final price until work was done and payment was needed. Beware of an employee leaving his phone on dashboard..was told he does this a lot of times.

I would recommend this place to everyone. I called around trying to find someone to look at my car and give me a real review. I came across this place and they treated me like family. I walked in they check my car out and explained what was wrong and what it would take to get it repaired. They were willing to work with my budget and get the important things done. Very polite and respectful. The work they did on my car was great and I appreciate there help.

I found the owners son Pride at the front desk extremely knowledgeable about all things auto and truck related. I like the options he gave to me for labor only as I had purchased some things that I could not install. Highly likely that I will return for more service after such a positive cost effective visit!

What a lucky find! These folks are the real deal- honest, skilled and super helpful. Extremely professional and helpful, these guys really know what they are doing. They did a really great job installing a new A/C system for me, and the mechanics went an extra mile and diagnosed and fixed the critical underlying issue with the electrical system along the way. I trust them, they restored some faith in humanity for me, I now refer them to friends, and I will be coming back to Meineke for maintenance from now on.

A return customer no more…time sure has changed since my last Google review at this Meineke location. This week I had to drop off my car for repair work (Engine Light On: Reflecting an Error Code of P0155, 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction-Bank 2 Sensor 1). I provided documentation concerning this error code and what was the recommended repair. Later that day I received a call from Meineke Tech recommending other work outside of what was requested (replace sensor as indicated per the Error Code P0155). At that time I was advised that doing this other work “outside what was requested” would clear this Engine Light. The cost of this repair was much higher whereas the initial requested repair would have been considerably less. Seems like, the less expensive approach for this repair should have been sought first before encouraging a customer to sink a large amount of money into a used car. Fooled I was of this bait and switch tactical sales strategy being used at this Meineke location. The next day I received a call indicating after the work was performed that the action taken still did not resolve the Engine Light issue. At this time, the corrective action recommended was to approach the repair by doing what I had initially requested. This was really disappointing to hear; had the initial repair work been performed “first”…very well could have resolved the Engine Light issue based on the Error Code P0155 as identified. At this time I had no choice but to agree to the repair. I later received a call that my car was ready for pickup. I arrived to pick up my car. Meineke Tech assisted with settling my bill and offered his apology for doing the additional work. However the impact of this work had now left me with a very large bill that could have been extremely less out the door initially. I expressed my disappointment with what had happened and the conversation continued as another senior mechanic or owner joined the discussion. I shared with him my disappointment that the initial repair work requested was not performed before seeking a different costly approach for this repair. The discussion seemed to change as the senior mechanic tried to convince me his repairs were warranted. I disagreed with his judgement and continued to express that the specific repair work that I requested was not performed as requested. Today I am concerned that this Meineke location is baiting people to believe that they need other repair work when actually they do not. Times are hard for some and crafty business practice’s to fool customers is disturbing. I would strongly encourage customers to now beware of the business practices being used at this Meineke location. Near the end of the conversation the senior mechanic/owner advised a Meineke Tech to give me my key and let me go. He also tried to imply let him go at no charge. This was unreasonable, as his approach was possibly an attempt to try and lure me to leave with an attempt to only call the police thereafter for failure to pay. I paid the bill and also left a free oil change voucher as it is not needed. As I departed and drove off I noticed about a mile down the road that my Engine Light began to flash on and off. I ran another error code check of my car and a new Error Code P0302 had now been discovered (Cylinder 2 misfire detected). I returned to Meineke and another mechanic performed work of replacing a spark plug. This did seem to resolve the new Error Code at that moment and I departed. Thinking all was okay...is not the case...Error Code(s) returned later as P0300-Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected. In close, it is really disappointing that I had to share my experience but I do feel it is needed so other customers are aware what they could encounter if using this Meineke location. As I reviewed my work invoice it was evident that other costly repairs were also being recommended if I would have allowed it. In my opinion this Meineke location may now have lost its credibility to perform honest auto repair work. Please be careful.

This shop was recommended to me by my personal mechanic. I needed a new catalytic converter and they could do it faster and cheaper than he could. My poor Saturn... BARELY made it to the shop. Mike was amazing and reassuring. He called me the next day to get approval for the work and I picked it up that afternoon. Price quoted was exactly what I expected. Car runs great! Always very helpful and honest. I took my car in because of the brakes. They checked everything and since they didnt find anything they didnt charge me. Not all mechanics are that caring and thoughtful. Always take my car to them.

Took my car in to have new front brake pads and rotors put on because of a change in performance and the start of a grinding noise. They took my vehicle in to assess and determined that my pads should still have enough life left in them to keep them for now and my rotors were not damaged. They suggested a cheap $40 caliper adjustment so my brakes would catch more responsively.Overall I was very impressed with their honesty and plan to return when the time comes.
