BMW of Westbrook service department provided me with routine service in a friendly and timely manner. My BMW X5 is now out of warranty, but I found the service fee to be very reasonable. Have had good service with them since 2017.

My wife and I have purchased two BMWs from Bill Dodge this year. Zack was our salesman for both and he was helpful, informative, and not pushy at all. We felt comfortable during the entire process.They exceeded our expectations from beginning to end, as have the cars.Matt in finance was also amazing. He works efficiently and got us loans with great interest rates. He explained all warranty options in detail, was patient, and was understanding of the options we decided against. If I have 10stars, I can give them all.My husband and I traveled to Maine, but when we were on our way to return to home, MA, there was smoking in the front of the car with gas smell. It was emergency. We’d tried to call where opened that time.(it was holiday weekend) There was nothing to get some help.We knew we need an appointment to check up the car in BMW Motors. However, they understood our situation when we reached there and looked at our car.We could finally arrive at home safely.We still have so much thankful heart for you!
My most recent experience at Bill Dodge BMW was exceptional. I truly appreciate everyone involved from the tech who performed the work to the Service Manager who allowed me to supply a few of my own parts and remained competitive with other local quotes. Lastly, Taylor Powell is one of the best service representatives I’ve ever worked with. He has always been polite, professional, responsive, and understanding for the many years I have worked with him. Love that BMW Westbrook makes servicing vehicles EASY. I took advantage of the valet service. I was able to work while BMW Westbrook took care of the rest. Friendly valet picked up my car on time, received a courtesy text when my car arrived. Shortly after, my service rep, Adam Milligan called to let me know what maintenance was due and what was covered on my maintenance plan. Even though I wasnt there in person, I felt my vehicle service was important to Adam and was kept in the loop on what was happening from start to finish. Top notch experience-Thanks again!
Traveling from SC and had car issues. The staff of BMW Westbrook saw to it that we were immediately seen and taken care of. They were extremely courteous and helpful. Definitely a 5 star business!

Was in for a state inspection. Ran a bit late and was able to facilitate a “late drop off” with the service team. Very professional staff and quicker turn-around time than initially quoted upon checking in.
Working with young salesman,Damon, was a great experience.He was professional and engaging. Anything we were disappointed with was beyond his control.The downside was having an appointment arranged with the manager and when we arrived the car was not on the lot, but off with another manager for personal use.It had not been detailed or ready to show.

The BMW service department helped me up and down in dealing with my insurance company, and we all know how fun that can be. My insurance company tried to authorize after market parts instead of factory equipment, even though my policy states the contrary. I brought this forward to the service department and they got me the correct equipment and dealt with the insurance company. Great customer service!
Not great. Made appointment over the phone to do an oil change, tire rotation and full detail. I live 45 minutes from the dealership which I told them when I made the appt. They have no loaners and no shuttle outside of Portland. Understood based on the times we’re living through. Arrived at 7:30am, as scheduled, only to be told they couldn’t do the detail as it takes a full day. I would have to make another appt. Taylor said they would wash and vacuum the car. The car was wet on the outside when they returned it but was not vacuumed…the mats still have loose dirt on them. My oil change and tire rotation were completed before 10am…but they couldn’t honor the detail their service advisor said we could do same day when I made the appt. My guess is they didn’t actually have the detailers in and/or available. Really bad “luxury car” experience. I guess I’ll take my bmw to them for work covered by my maintenance plan but that’s it. Why would I pay a premium for a definitely not premium experience? Btw - they still charged me the $100 for rotate and balance and tried to reschedule me for the detail. When I got in the car my phone wouldn’t reconnect. After several minutes of investigating…it appears they left something connected to my WiFi or Bluetooth - showed up as a MAC address. Once I deleted that device from iDrive, everything connected as usual. Sloppy. The whole experience. Sloppy and disappointing. You all need a customer experience specialist. Based on other reviews, my experience is not all that unique. I’m not paying BMW prices when you give me a Ford experience.
The waiting room was clean, and the wait wasn’t too bad for the work that was done on my vehicle. I will be returning to this location the next time I need work done.

Tracy Noyes provided excellent service when out car was towed into your dealership while we were on vacation. She worked to squeeze our car into the busy service schedule and get us back on the road faster than we expected. It was an exceptional service experience for us!
I was traveling from out of state and had an issue with my X5. Called many times to try to get some help with my car and absolutely no one ever called me back. Stay clear from this dealership.My phone was on, full signal and no voicemails. No point in calling because they dont call you back.
Grateful for them squeezing in a fairly urgent brake job at last minute. Job completed quickly and competently at exactly the price they gave me beforehand.
My daughter bought her car at Bill Dodge and had such a positive experience I thought I’d give them a try when it came to purchasing my pre-owned BWM. I’m glad I did. Jo made the experience effortless. I had done my research and know they gave me a very fair trade in value for my car and reasonable price on my new-to-me certified, pre-owned. On the day I picked up my car, I was crunched for time. Jo and Matt (in finance) respected this and made certain I was in and out with ease. Both were very friendly and no pressure sales, which I appreciated. Thank you Jo and Matt. This is how the car buying experience should be. Highly recommend.
My husband and I own a BMW X5 and his experience is described in his review below. BMW just called my husband after reading the review to offer an apology. Adam, the BMW Service manager. This is my experience after listening to a call about our car on speakerphone.Again, the call was on speakerphone and the phrases that were used did not sound like a customer service phone call at all. Adam did offer to clean the vehicle again, but it has already been sold and wouldnt offer to clean another vehicle to compensate for the time spent dealing with this issue.Adam told my husband that BMW is not taking responsibility other than people were on vacation and there were two service bulletins floating around. He also asked my husband if he wrote the review just to bash BMW?! My husband was told 4 separate times over text that the ~$2K repair wasnt covered.The review outlined all the facts of his experience getting the car fixed and nothing more. There was no bashing, only facts.My husband also tried to contact Adam 4 times during the situation and never got a call back. Adams response today was, well there are 4 Adams here. Woof.This experience with Westbrook BMW was deplorable and we are sending an email with attachments of conversations and a recollection of events to Bernhard Kuhnt, Jan Sickmann, and Pooja Karthik to see if they agree.

I went to pick up my car today only to find I couldn’t unlock it to take it home! I drove an hour and a half to get there on during my vacation so was very disappointed to have to leave it even longer after already waiting 2 weeks for the service to be done. This is not a reflection on Tracy in the service department but more of a disappointment on my part. It’s not fun to pay that much money and still not have a car

It was a first class transaction from beginning to end. Zack is one of those sales people you can tell is a straight shooter immediately. Matt made the closing process quick and easy and informative. I had a check engine light and BMW Westbrook Maine allowed me to leave my vehicle with them so they could squeeze it in between other appointments. They kept me updated every few days and had me back in the road within a week - all covered under warranty (and Tracy treated everyone like a rockstar)!

Beautiful dealership, nice people, good techs. The devil is in the details. Dropped my car off for service and they forgot I was here until I reminded them. Brought my vehicle in at a specific date and time because they assured me a loaner was reserved for me. Now there is no loaner available and I have to wait for a rental. I’m not upset I’m just disappointed with the overall service experience. This reaffirms my prior decision to bring my vehicle to my independent bmw mechanic for service. I was hoping service would have improved but it has not.

Brittney Hale helped me get my first BMW, she was very professional, friendly, no pressure, answered every question I had. This is my third automobile from Bill Dodge and she was by far what a modern salesperson represents! FYI I was in the car business for 18 years so I know how good she really is. I took my car to BMW of Westbrook for service as I was looking to establish a connection with a BMW service department in Maine. The formal quote didnt match an informal poorly detailed conversation that I had with the service advisor. Furthermore, his feedback was inaccurate and after I investigated further, there was inflated pricing and an unnecessary recommendation that I buy a new vehicle. I was able to take my vehicle elsewhere and received an accurate, reliable and affordable quote and my car has been fixed. Furthermore, I paid for services at BMW of Westbrook that it turns out they didnt complete; fortunately they were minor. I will never go to BMW of Westbrook again and do not recommend.Update 12/30/2020 in response to the BMW of Westbrooks reply to my original post: I have only received a _single_ call from BMW of Westbrook / Walter today (12/30/2020), not a few calls. I am at work and intend to call you back when I can to discuss this further. I appreciate the apology and concern.

Car returned to me with greasy paw prints everywhere on interior. Dealer did not respond to my irate email complaining.Only game in tow, unfortunately

This is my first purchase of BMW X5 at Dodge BMW of Westbrook.I walked into the showroom with certain features of the X5 in my mind.I explained those to Chris and he jumped on it and helped me get the right vehicle and a great deal working with the sales manager Bob Houp. I went in almost close to the dealer closing hours. Chris and Bob were very patient and accommodated all my needs and gave the best pricing that I could not resist.Also Chris helped me get good discounts on the accessories I needed for my X5. There was a small misunderstanding on the computer glitch of accessories billing. Bob and Matt from Parts dept. followed up and sorted it out immediately with a quick followup.Matt Ross the finance guy was very patient and helped me walk though all the finance options and service plans even though it was very late that night.Graham was very very helpful setting up my vehicle and explaining each and every feature that came with it.I can confidently say this is a great dealership and have the best staff that make it the great experience from it.The social distancing practices at the dealership are very well appreciated.I am a happy customer very well taken care of. What a shame, a BMW dealership with unprofessional sales people, you will likely get better service at a used car lot, I had the disappointment of having my sale handled by Brittney Hale, nothing related to how long it took her to quote me a vehicle, everything to do with the way she treated me, and the way she diminished me and my business, went elsewhere and bought the car next day. Would not recommend to anyone, you should look else where when looking for a BMW.

I have never had a bad experience with the service at BMW of Westbrook. They are very thorough, professional and personable. The service reminders and appointment reminder calls are extremely helpful to me and I’m sure everyone else using their service. We lead such busy lives with family and work and this added touch is very much appreciated. The parts department is tremendously knowledgeable and helpful in many ways. They provide you with the best possible solution or options so you can make an informed decision. Our service advisor Taylor is pretty stellar. He promptly returns calls and provides updates while your vehicle is in for service. Overall, you feel appreciated when you purchase and service your BMW at BMW of Westbrook.
