I fell in love with this women at this store! Talk about a fabulous staff! I will only be returning to this ulta Beauty from now on! I was visiting my boyfriends family and will drive the 1hr and 30min drive to come here. Angela assisted us and was so incredibly helpful! She had us laughing and I could tell she had a passion to help people and within make up. If youre looking for an ulta team to help you get your makeup COME HERE! I cannot express enough how much I LOVED this experience.
This place is the worst Ulta in the area. The girls recommended a product then gave me the wrong product when I went to return it with a receipt they were rude and weren’t sure what their return policy was. The other Ultas are much better

This Ulta location has by far the worst pickup service. Not sure if this is a failure of the specific store or Ulta in general. Staff is not cognizant of customers waiting at the pickup area, where you are directed to visit via your confirmation email. Once acknowledged, it appears it is a hassle for them to find your purchased items. We’ve suggested improvements but they have not been taken. You are better off just shopping in store or visiting another retailer with more organized pickup.
Kelly is an absolute MAGICIAN! She delivered a result WAY better than I could even imagine and made me feel so at home, like I’d known her for years. I recommend you go to her for any of your skin needs or hair products.
This location consistently has really great service. A lot of their other locations do not have this sort of customer service. Allison goes above and beyond! My favorite location to shop.

The ulta in Westlake is generally well organized with an attentive, friendly, well dressed staff and they carry products I like. However, the last few times I have gone in they have had some very bizzare behavior which alarms me. When I am asked for my phone number I have declined because I dont want or need a loyalty account. The staff are VERY VERY PUSHY about getting my private information. When I say no thanks they continue to ask for me email and tell me we need it and we cant fully process your return without it. Um... okay? So you cant take an unopened product back with a reciept and my credit card? I understand this is NOT the fault of the cashiers and is probably some coporate policy or manager forcing them to behave this way. Props to them, they follow the policy but it makes me feel HARASSED to have some poor staff member asking me no less than 3 times to give then my phone, email etc. Is my money no longer good if ulta cant collect and aggregate my data? Am I the product, or a customer? I feel like their obession with my phone number says the latter. Therefore, since this is now a consistent behavior, I no longer feel comfortable with this store. Ill go to another ulta or sephora or sallys where they ask once and take a no for a no, not a no for a try harder. I mean come on. If I went on a date, said no to a second one and the guy demanded my number three times Id bounce too! Creeeeeepppppyyy... It sounds like Im not the only one either because Laura Lindsey complained about something similar 8 months ago. Guess this store just likes to be rude and pushy until their customers feel totally sketched out.Edit 12-30-2020 - Ulta beauty replied to my review and asked me to reach out to them. I called the store at today 1119am and was directed to the guest services number. I told them I declined the call the number again because my experience with guest services fit exactly in line with what I experienced at the store. You see, the day I left the review, (1235pm Dec 26th) I already called their guest services number to ask about this very issue. I wanted to find out what the store meant by cant process the whole refund without your email and phone number. When I called guest services they asked for my name, phone number (which I gave) and email twice (which I declined each time). I asked them why they needed it to anwser a question about if a recipet would work for returns or not and why it was implied that it would not. They told me they could not anwser any specific questions without my email and that they needed my email to look up my account. I told them I was not comfortable providing that information and that, since I dont believe I ever gave it to them, itd be rather pointless to provide something that they cant look up. They insisted again and again they needed it until I finally had to TALK OVER the woman to get her to listen to me and say I know you cant anwser specific questions but this is GENERAL question. I was told that return policies were on a store by store basis but that she would expect most stores to accept a recipt and the unopened product. However, she did not know what this exact stores policy would be. Neither of us (the ulta woman or myself) were rude, short or mean. However, it was VERY frustrating that I cant even get a basic question anwsered without providing all my personal information. You have my name, the spelling of my name and a phone number by which to contact me. Why do you need my email to? Again, now matter how nice your poor store associates try to be as they demand my information over and over and over like a machine, this behavior is comes off as rude, scripted, and pushy. Not a flatering look ulta.If there is another place youd like me to contact that can actually talk to me like a human instead of like an information spitting machine, please let me know. Until then, perhaps your scripted replies are unwise. I have changed my review to lower the stars as the continued behavior by the ULTA reflects the EXACT behavior I complained about.

These girls at this location are amazing! They were able to fit my sister and I in last minute to do my sisters makeup for her wedding when our makeup artist cancelled a few days before. They went above and beyond and showed so much excitement for my sister! Tasha made my sister look Flawless for her wedding, we could not ask for anything better!! She even was able to fit me in right after her appointment when mine wasnt supposed to be for 2 more hours so we were able to get to the wedding without rushing! I would highly recommend to anyone!! Thank you girls!! You all are truly amazing!

So this particular location (Westlake, Ohio) had a couple more product lines (Smith and Cult, Flesh Beauty to name a couple) that are not in the stores closer to where I live.The staff was quite pleasant (as all staff members are at any store I shop) and very eager to help if needed 😊

Went in to check if they carry a particular cologne at one store by Crocker Park. From a guys standpoint, I can truly attest how overwhelmed it was. Organized chaos, if there ever is such a thing...wall to wall products for women. And there is this little spot for men products, which was a bit disappointing. I figured they would have more than just cologne... maybe I was just not looking hard enough. Staff was courteous and polite, but EVERY aisle I go I would be asked if I needed help---which I did, Im not going to lie. But everyone was aggressively out there trying to help me. Not sure why...felt a little uneasy. 1 star deduction because they did not have what I was looking for, another star deduction for the uneasiness.

All the girls at this location are great. I especially want to thank Tasha and Jen for doing such a great job on my makeup. I looked amazing and the entire experience was awesome! Thanks guys.

Too bad I cant give a negative review. This location is bad. I sent a email to the store about the situation over 2 months ago no response. First I couldnt find a few items and no one was around to help. Once I did find someone no one wanted to bother. Then at the cashier I was being ringed up she tells me Ive been pre-approved for their credit card. Im like no thank you. She goes on and on about it. I continue to say No. Then Im like I am going to buy a house next year I dont want credit injuries on my report. Shes like it wont. Im like every time you put a new account you get dinged. I dont know why I need to explain. She was rude and awful. I rather go to Sephora and CVS at least they are helpful and not pushy!

My daughter and her friend went to the Ulta in Westlake at 3:30 today and inquired about getting facials. They were told if they waited until 4:10 they could get 10 minute facials at the same time. It was after 4:15 before my daughter got in the chair. Meanwhile her friend waited and waited. Finally at 4:20 when I inquired about the second facial the very rude woman who was doing my daughter’s facial (Tasha) informed me she has been booked all day and just squeezed them in and the friend would not get her facial until my daughter was done. I am really upset that they were lied to as we would never have scheduled these if we knew we would end up standing around the Ulta store for more than an hour. Good customer service means being honest and if you could not deliver the service don’t make the appt and take their money. In addition this wasn’t even a real facial. Basically my daughter had a mask applied. She did not get a real facial.Also Tasha used the same towel on both girls which does not seem very hygienic and they did not get the right mask. They signed up for one facial which she never discussed with them and were given something totally different. She never asked them about their skin type or advised what she was putting on their faces. Overall very unprofessional.I do not recommend the skin services at this Ulta. All of the other employees were nice and offered us water etc.

I realize a skin treatment at Ulta is going to not be the same as going to a spa, but I expect there to help better health standards. This morning the skincare specialist, Tasha, intentionally put a facial product meant for external use way too close to and actually in my eye. I was taken off guard by this and explained it was allergies making my eye puffy. It was washed out of my eye multiple times both at the salon and at home, but, it still feels like there is something in my eye because it was goopy. This isn’t sanitary at all and I would hesitate to come to this ulta for a salon appointment again. Or any ulta for that matter if all their salon workers are trained this way.
Today I stopped by to get my eyebrows done. While sitting in her chair getting her make up done by another employee she tells me I should come later on or schedule an appointment tmrw. Mind you as soon as you enter the door they offer you different products etc . One of the employees went looking for a girl to do my eyebrows only to find her getting her make up done by another employee. After I told them what kind of customer service they provide and no wonder store was empty girl who presented herself as a manager told me that was her day off and she was doing make up which is a complete lie since the girl herself told me to come back later . Like hey you are a customer but why not wait until I do my make up or she nonshalantly said just come another day. Well here is a thing I work a lot and I don’t have much luxury of time and if I did what you did I wouldn’t even have a job. So dear Ulta you are not getting any of my hard earned money again also imagine if five people a day go through what I did go through today how much money you are loosing but that’s for your management to consider and see why you don’t value customer that comes through that door . Shame on you . I have never in my 47 years of life experienced what I did at your store no apologies can erase a picture of the two of them laughing and continuing with make up like I didn’t matter. And lying that it was her day off makes me even be more disgusted. Dear upper management looks like you have some disciplining to do

I feel like some of the employees were prejudice. Didn’t get greeted at all except by one mixed employee. One of the employees threw a pack of wipes and hit my leg, I picked it up for the lady and handed her the pack (9 MONTHS PREGNANT) and didn’t get a simple Thankyou. They made me VERY uncomfortable.
Ulta was also a dangerous way for me to spend too much money quickly! Then they started carrying Kylie cosmetics ans gave my hubs a credit card! Watch out ULTA! Youll need to restock soon!!
