Had a good sized crack on my windshield from a rock on the highway. Worked with my insurance and easily setup an appointment. Receptionist was very nice and explained the difference between cosmetic vs structural repair for my windshield repair. She made sure I understood that the crack would still be somewhat visible after the repair. The whole process took about one hour. I used that time to just walk over to the early Wawa. I would definitely trust them for any future repairs.

First time, they had my windshield but not the accessories to install it which wasted an hour of my day. BUT once they had everything and I rescheduled they were within their estimated time. Waiting area was clean, employees were kind and polite.

Really annoying to deal with ended up being like 10 minutes late and they couldn’t take me in. No customer service reps answer the phones at corporate. Glad I didn’t go here though because I got a great price ( half their quotes price with a lifetime warranty)from a local guy and he did it in my driveway support local business everyone

Horrible workmanship. Tore my inside a-pillar fabric and just left it that way. The manager said it always happens and there isnt anything they can do about it. Go elsewhere as I have had many windshields installed atUNION AUTO GLASS and never had this issue with torn left unglued fabric on both sides of the a-pillars. Shoddy workmanship at this location beware!! Sorry my insurance company sent me there.

I have had 2 appointments where they have realized they have ordered the wrong windshield. Not willing to waste my time a third time.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! This company is terrible, go anywhere else but here! ⛔🤥I scheduled for a service visit to my house to replace my windshield. The technician arrived over an hour late after a 4-hour window for the appointment. He didnt call or knock on the door at all. I went outside to check my driveway before I called the shop, he was pulling out of my driveway WITHOUT REPLACING MY WINDSHIELD! He told me his manager would not allow him to replace my windshield with the standard windshield because I have the front camera system EVEN THOUGH I INCLUDED IN MY ONLINE ORDER I WANTED TO STANDARD WINDSHIELD & NOT THE ONE THAT WORKS WITH THAT CAMERA SYSTEM & COSTS OVER $1,000! The manager told my husband they changed the company policy recently changed & we had to pay for the more expensive windshield. UMMM, ITS OUR VEHICLE & THOSE CAMERA SYSTEMS ARE NOT LEGALLY REQUIRED, SO NO WE DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND TWICE AS MUCH. 🤨 🤯So we cancelled our order & found another place that had no problem providing the service we wanted FOR A CHEAPER PRICE!Even better is that this same company had replaced the windshield on this same vehicle with the lesser priced, regular windshield 6 months ago. 🤔 LIES, SCAMS, OVERCHARGES & TECHNICIANS JUST RUN AWAY BEFORE TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER.🏃‍♂️

I had a small chip in windshield from stone. Scheduled to have windshield replaced after sending photo. Made appointment brought car said they do not have windshield . They will call when it comes in. Two weeks later crack across half of windshield. Not sure why I made appt to come in when dont have windshield. Difficult to reach, disorganized, not professional, no call back. Called Delaware Autoglass (pencader) in afternoon, they ordered windshield said would be in the next day at 12:00 bring car then. Instalation completed by 1:30. Professional, helpful, fantastic! Avoid Safelight

Entire appointment to replace chipped windshield took about half an hour. It’s nearly invisible now. Courteous and efficient staff. What else can you ask for?

Received a call about an hour or so prior to my appt today that they had to cancel for the entire day because of staffing shortages. No time-frames for next soonest even offered. Terrible service/leadership!

I fell victim to fall advertisement. I had a Crack that was about the size of a thumbnail nail in length. So small the techs could not see it at first. Now its so bad Its almost half a foot in length with a tiny whole in the middle that wasnt there before. I now have to get my windshield replaced when I should have just left it alone. I cant trust them to replace my windshield if they cant fix a little Crack that nobody could see

Thank you Sean, youre the best! My wifes car failed inspection due to a crack in the windshield. We scheduled an appointment at our address but it got rained out. Later in the day the rain cleared so my wife called back to see if we could get it done. All the technicians had been sent home but Sean answered the call and after learning that the repair needed to be done for the DMV he generously offered to meet at the shop and do the repair. Its a 30 minute drive each way for him so this was above and beyond customer service. My wife was able to get the repair and get to the DMV before it closed. I want to personally thank you Sean, if you had not helped us out I would have had to miss hours at my job to accommodate all the driving my family requires and that would have made our financial situation very tight. Seriously, THANK YOU.

I did their online quote system. First time $308, second time, after going through AAA, $340. Could not get back to the $308 after trying AAA. Used another computer (no cookies on it yet) and got a quote for $320. Same vehicle, same location, three different amounts. Went elsewhere and got amazing service at 2/3rd the price. Shop around.

Windshield was replaced quickly. They have a nice little waiting area for you to sit. But unfortunately the same day I got on I-95N and another rock hit it. Fortunately no damage was done. If the windshield cracks again Ill take it back to Safelite.

I had a cracked window replaced only to have that crack 2 days after. They replaced that one and it cracked shortly thereafter it was put in. Finally, this one seems to be holding.

SCAM! I feel horribly betrayed by their lack of transparency. Safelite will pee on your leg and tell you it’s raining, but they’ll do it with a smile!Here is their guarantee as provided on their website and receipt documentation:“we can guarantee that upon completion of a successful repair, the chip or crack will not crack further and that the repair will pass any state vehicle inspection, or we will credit the cost of the repair toward a replacement.”This is terribly misleading! This is not a guarantee at all!! If you say you guarantee the repair will not crack further then stand by that. If it does (especially after only 1 day) then give me my money back and let me decide where I want to get my new windshield from. Giving me a credit that can only be spent at safelite is not a guarantee. It is only a means for Safelite to strong arm people into an unexpected up-charge.The guarantee should be changed to:“We guarantee that if you are not satisfied with our repair, you will have to spend more money with us to be satisfied.”And here comes Safelite to pee on my leg again with their canned response:“The repair process is only an attempt to save the integrity of the glass, at times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield.”Ya, I get it Safelite, it’s raining, hahaha!Can’t wait to tell as many people about them as possible. Please, everyone wronged by this company, get the word out on all social media platforms.

I had fantastic service from this Safelite! The driver door glass for my car was not easy to find, but they were able to make an appointment for the repair quickly. Jennifer was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The service tech, Mark, was thorough and did an awesome job with every detail of the installation and cleaning up all of the broken glass in my car. I would highly recommend this business!

The came to my house and did a fine job of replacing the windshield however.. the guy left fingerprints all over the sun visors.. hes hands obviously had that black goo on them cause it was left on the headliner and visors..

I was so amazed how a little crack from a stone could be repaired. All I thought was that I needed a new window but when I explained what had happen and I didnt have to get it replaced but repaired I was so happy. It looks good very good and it was An hour or less. I would recommend Safelite AutoGlass to anyone. The staff was very helpful in giving me information I didnt know and friendly. You must try them out.

Upon entering into the store front portion of the business, I was “welcomed” with unprofessional staff that sat behind the desk, seemingly unfazed by the presence of a new client. I immediately got the sense that this was not going to be a positive experience, but most likely would be my last. When I finally received my truck, it appeared that not only did their machine had leave several permanent scratches on my windshield, but also the small crack was still visible. When I pointed this out to the rep, she said that it was normal and there was nothing they could do about it. Reaching out to management, I have never received a callback nor an email to explain my dissatisfaction. I will never go back nor will I recommend this place of “business”. And I am NOT the only 1-star comment. Do your homework and see other reviews, unlike myself.

My cars windshield was broken, and needed to go to inspection quickly. safe Auto was recommended by my insurance company. The repair was quick and easy, and covered by my insurance. I would recommend them for anyone who has broken windshield.

My new windshield has a few chips in the corners and they told me thats how the glass looks due to the cutting and sizing.

Wow. What amazing service. A tree fell on my windshield, I immediately scheduled an appointment online, the tech, Bryan, came right to my job site, and replaced my windshield within an hour. My windshield is better than the original and replaced within hours of having it damaged. Bryans work and communication was exemplary!

I scheduled to have a windshield replaced. The appointment had to be rescheduled do to unforeseen circumstances. My husband which had the vehicle with him had to go out of state and work before the re-scheduled appointment. I had been in touch with Deborah in the Little River, SC office several times via phone and email to try and work out a time and place we could get this windshield replaced, she was very patient with my situation. My husband ended up in three different states within three weeks. She was extremely helpful and was kind to follow up with me about this. As it was difficult to pin him down to a location. I am very grateful for her help and that I was able to continue speaking with her about the situation rather than having to explain the situation to several different people. We were finally able to schedule an appointment with Joseph in the Wilmington, DE office. When he came out, my husband was working night shift and unable to come outside to move the vehicle, someone had parked too close and the tech was unable to open the doors all the way. Joseph called me and he was able to come the very next day and take the vehicle to the shop for the replacement. Everyone was extremely helpful, this was my third time using Safelite and they have me as a customer for life!

My husband recently got his back slider window of his truck replaced here. The front desk staff were super friendly and they completed the job quickly and thoroughly! They took the time to clean out all the shattered glass out of the truck bed and the back seat, and even vacuumed the front seats and floor of the truck! Overall very happy and would recommend!

I am at a loss for words. Went in with the tiniest little ding in windshield leaving with a huge crack..! Cant get a decent pic. They will let me put the 80 I spent towards a new windshield!? I didnt argue because I signed a waiver and was holding my toddler. But I am in the parking lot down the street so mad at myself for paying to have my car given back to me in worse shape. This is absolutely horrific. If they do this they should at the very least give you your money back!! I did this to prevent having to buy a new windshield. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Ill take this down when I see a full credit for this poor repair done today. You guys suck.

Horrible .Went there to get a windshield repaired as instructed by my insurance. Left with a poorly done job. Windshield was put on incorrectly it was a rush job . The boarders were not put on securely at all huge gaps it’s visible that it loose . Super unsafe. Called to have it fixed and inconveniently have to wait 2 days until something is hopefully done about it . Horrible job . Would not recommend.

Go anywhere except here - rushed work and no attention to detailHad a windshield replaced in May 2018.The wrong part was ordered delaying repairs several days, tube for windshield wiper fluid was pinched during replacement and didn’t function properly after, the interior weather-seal around the windshield was not properly fitted and the automatic starter was left dangling rather than refitting.When the damage first occurred the shop said it was too small to seal but to come back if it spreads. When it started to spread a few months later, I returned immediately to seal the damage but after a pressure test the damage spread significantly and had to be replaced. And they won’t seal without a pressure test which almost always causes the damage to spread.Seriously go anywhere except here.

They arrived with the wrong windshield and had to reschedule. Each time they give you a 4 hour window, so that shot half of 2 days. The tech arrived miserable the first day, became more pleasant as time went by, and was pleasant the 2nd time out. I cant believe a business that replaces windshields doesnt have the ability to bring the right one the first time, every time. This was an insurance claim, so they had the VIN. Car is garage kept, so will see about leaks next time we go out in the rain, but by other reviews, I am expecting the worst

Stay away from this repair shop. I would have give this shop Zero star if that was an option.My insurance set up the repair appointment with this shop; unfortunately, the job was not done correctly. My windshield had a chip, but after the repair was done the damage area had gotten larger. Also, during the repair process, the technician asked me about if he should fill this chip by hand or machine. I told him he is the professional, and he should make the decision. Of course, I should have seen that is a huge red flag and stopped him to move forward with the repair. Sadly, I did not really think twice, until the work was done.... the chipped area has become much more noticeable and larger. I contacted the customer service, and requested an operation manager to come out and check on the work. After checking the work, the operation manager concluded that the chip was not filled completed, and it might need to work or the windshield will need to be replace. However, he refused to take the ownership or responsibility of this poor quality. He insisted that since I have assigned the waiver to OK them to work on my car, they are not responsible for any damages during the process. Furthermore, Safelite s executive service team told me since my windshields already broken prior to the repair, I cannot hold them responsible for a broken windshield even though there was further damage due to their repair . Now I have to bare all the cost of replacing a windshield out of pocket, and this company is continuing providing poor work to people. Neither the shop nor the company is taking up ownership to fix this problem.I high suggest to look else where when it comes to fix or replace car window.

I went there to replace windshield glass as per insurance recommendation,the experience was horrible, I arrived there close to 1pm and they started working on my car minutes later but they didn’t finish until 2:30Pm(away longer than guys ahead of me but it didn’t bother me).Minutes after I got my car I noticed that there’s about half inch gaps from molding, you can easily fit your finger in between, once it rains the water will stuck in that gaps and end up inside. so I went back to them and the store manager B. told me if they moved the glass up, the VAN number won’t be visible.i told him that’s because you didn’t install the right glass for this car, then he said rudely there’s nothing they can do about it, he refused to fix it and he went back inside.I called my insurance and right now I have to find another place to have it done all overMy advice to find a better place at least not this one on Kirkwood hwy Wilmington DE, there’s reason why you see all these fake safelite commercials on tv, it’s a terrible company runs by terrible managers.

Called to have a chip in My Windshield repaired on My Jeep. The tech did a horrible job at the repair and it cracked in less the 8 hrs after the repair. After trying to contact safelite for 1hr 4 mins. Safelite end up saying that they would credit me towards a new windshield. But it meant I needed to take 4 more hours off from work. But ok .. do you know the tech showed up with the wrong windshield !!! So frustrated at this point.. I am on the phone no as I type this .. Horrible service.. I do not want service from them again ... and .. I trying to get my money back from the original repair. Ok just got off the phone so it looks like Im going to have to go over there! SMH

I must say this was one of the most pleasurable experiences. I dreaded taking the time out of my day to have my windshield replaced and was putting it off for two months. One day at work I Googled Safelite. I had done business with them before and they are the go to experts. After Googling the website I set up an appointment, paid for the windshield, received a discount and was like this seems extremely easy. I was waiting at any moment for something to go wrong but no. I set up the appointment passed the keys to the lady at the counter had lunch with my son and returned an hour later to see my car completed and I left. It was a seamless transaction and from start to finish I was Wow’d. Thank You!!!

Not at all happy with my experience. Asked the technician when he arrived if the glass would have the same tint as what was there to which he replied yes. Went out to look at it during my lunch break and its not even close. Called Safelite and after being transferred 4 times I finally got a person at the store that had come out and in mid sentence our call went to a busy signal. He didnt even attempt to call me back. Basically Safelite needs to educate their technicians and provide honest replies to customer questions. You also shouldnt have to go through 3 people to reach the store you want. Hopefully this is my last glass experience with them.

I was treated horribly. Spend over $600 to replace the windshield on my Lexus and I did not receive any kind of Customer Service, the person that took my payment acted like I was bothering her by being there. They did not talk to me after install to let me know what to do. Manager called me when I complained on Twitter. He said sorry and that he would send me out something in the mail. I never received anything at all. Safelite in Wilmington is horrible and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Had a tech come out to fix a small divot/chuck of glass (no cracks just a small chip) and when he had to reset the injector for the 3rd time because he couldnt get it right he applied so much pressure it cracked the windshield in 3 directions..he then informed me that the cracking was standard and when I called the shop to see what my options were the store manager literally hung up on me after telling me youre not getting anything out of me...the most unprofessional experience Ive had and was left feeling like it was all my fault...would not recommended for any reason whatsoever.

I am making note of my experience pre-work and then post-work. I have an appointment scheduled for today Friday the 20th at 3pm. I have an appointment to get my windshield replaced. My work will be done at the location on 4722 kirkwood hwy. Wilmington DE 19808.I am posting this as Ive just noticed that a previous reviewer got theirs removed because the company rep said it was not at their location. Ive posted my location where the work will be done. I will post my experience and update with my rating once work has been completed.I will say the I called the store directly at this location to go over their warranty and the guy who took my call sounded like he just got out of bed. This call was made at 2:30 in the afternoon!! I hope that my experience will be better than the previous poster and my initial phone contact with sleepy guy.My initial rating will be 3 stars as is my experience at this point. I will try to add a follow up once the work is completed then again later once I have had the car in the rain and driven it for some time to be certain it was done properly.

I had my window fixed recently and scheduled and appt. via internet. I had other car related issues and being too late for my appt and they rescheduled me promptly for same day service even though I was late. Fast, Extremely Friendly, Reliable Customer and Technical Service. The actual Glass repair was done SO WELL, you cant even tell there was a crack in the glass at all!
