This was by far the best piercing experience I have EVER had!! Delsin is amazing, soft spoken, respectful, and TALENTED! He knew exactly how to calm my nerves and explain the whole process step by step. I was looking to get my septum pierced for a second time. The first time (not at port city tattoo) was atrocious and I was scared after that experience. Delsin was honest and told me I did have a deviated septum and it may be more difficult. Within ten minutes it was done and I was so happy with the outcome! I highly recommend anyone looking to get pierced go to Delsin Monroe! He is amazing and I will only refer my friends to him in the future!

Went to Port City to get my daughters ears pierced. The upfront receptionist was super nice as was the piercer (Delsin). My daughter was nervous, but there was zero tears because he was gentle and kind with her. Any parent looking to get their childs ears done shouldnt hesitate to go here!

I have tons of tattoos and have been to a lot of different shops. I followed Matt from another shop to PCTC. I can honestly say this is the best shop Ive ever been too. The morale of the team, Matt, Todd, Tony and Tim is awesome. Its always fun times when I go in, which is about every 2 weeks. I have seen a lot of work from all the artists and have never seen a bad piece or unsatisfied customer walk out of the door. Tony ensures he has talent working for him. I promise they wont disappoint. Because of how talented they are I suggest making an appointment. They take walk ins but its always best to schedule ahead of time so you know the artist has time for just you.

Christopher is incredible! A friend and I went in with a matching tattoo idea as well as one individually for the each of us and he executed them as well as we could have asked for (pictures included). I got my conch piercing here yesterday and am so happy with it! Not only was the piercer delsin super nice he was also really great with helping me decide where I wanted the piercing/what would look best with my ear shape/etc. the piercing itself was Painless and he made me feel comfortable. Also before I went into the shop I had messaged delsin on insta to get a sense of cost/what was available in regards to jewelry and what not so that was really helpful as he answered all my basic questions before hand! Def would recommend ! :)

I got a tattoo done here and wish I declined. I was advised by the artist I couldn’t get the tattoo small because it would eventually blur into a small blob. I honestly think now the artist just could not draw something that small and instead of admitting that, advised me for a much larger version of the tattoo with little to no detail to it.Now I take responsibility for still accepting and getting it done because I trusted the artist’s recommendation. But after more research and seeing other tattoos similar to what I originally wanted I regret listening to them. I should have stuck to my instinct and stood firm with what I wanted or went elsewhere.

Went in for a piercing after having an appointment at another shop that turned out to be closed today. Tim was super chill and was very quick with the whole procedure. I was very nervous but since Tim was chill the whole time, it helped ease my nerves. I was lightheaded afterwards and he was very attentive to making sure I was okay before I left. Will be back!

Amazing place with a great atmosphere and owner. Tony did my tattoo and my girlfriends tattoo and went above in beyond in designing mine. I’ve had a different artist for all of my tattoos but he’s definitely been the best one in terms of communication and talent. Also, he’s just a great guy to converse with when he is working on you. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

When into Port City last Saturday for a piercing and the experience was amazing. The shop is very clean and welcoming. The new female piercer Roberta is awesome, sweet and very knowledgeable. Also met the the owner Tony and the other artist.( sorry, cant remember his name) both are very friendly. Had a look at some of there work and they are amazing. Will definitely be getting some ink from there soon.If your looking to get some ink or a piercing this is the place to go!!!

I’ve received several tattoos here over the years. The work is high quality, I love all of mine plus I’ve loved every tattoo I’ve seen walking out or returning. All the tattoos I’ve had done here still look great even years later, they have even helped “fix” some of my earlier tattoos I received elsewhere.The place has really improved drastically since the recent ownership change. The shop is clean and comfortable. The artists are helpful, honest, and reasonable. They really listen to you and truly hear what you’re looking for.

Went an hour before close with my roommate to get a nose piercing and a cartilage piercing and Tim was so so nice and funny. He seemed to really know what he was doing and made sure we were both comfortable and with what was going on and with how everything turned out. Super enthusiast about his job and played great music for us!!

I got my nostril pierced 3 years ago. The procedure was quick & easy, which is amazing since I am kindof squeamish. I didnt have any issues with the healing process. I am comparing this visit to when I had gotten my second nostril piercing a year later, where I ended up having a reaction because the piercer was jerking around & messing with the piercing too much. That experience was awful in comparison to how my piercing went here.

Came in yesterday with some friends and both Tony and Eric took awesome care of us! They made sure we were happy with our designs and did a quick couple of sessions to include my friends first tattoo. We all left extremely happy! Definitely will be coming through next time Im back in Wilmington.

I took my wife in to Port City get her first ink. Jocko Webb was very cool and laid back. He put my wife at ease, and helped her create a beautiful tattoo. Todd is a great artist who listens to your ideas but also gives advice based on his years of experience. The tattoo Todd did for me is definitely my favorite one! I traveled to Port City Tattoo from Durham without ever being there before. A long time friend was going to be in town and i hadnt seen him in close to ten years. I spent the weekend there getting tattooed and enjoying the surroundings. Couldnt have felt more at ease or at home.

I was at the wounded warriors west location temporarily while I was recovering from an injury, and when I decided to get a tattoo, I decided to get it with Jock because he had great reviews and his style matched exactly what I wanted! He did revolvers with wings on the inner part of my wrist in addition to a custom made American traditional quarter sleeve and loved everything about it. He also added color to what was already a wretched black and grey lion tattoo that was rushed before by a previous tattoo artist. All in all it was an awesome atmosphere, the tattoo crew made you feel welcome, and they did great work.

This place is absolutely amazing. The new owner is awesome and knows what hes doing. Definitely a place I would take someone for their first tattoo or piercing. Or for their 10th tattoo and piercing. Polite staff that know this is a consumer run industry, and do all they can to make you have the best experience possible.

Tony is an amazing and passionate artist who strives for perfection. He will give you what you want but he will definitely voice his opinion to ensure his client leaves with the best possible tattoo. I have had several from him and hours upon hours.. I will definitely follow him wherever he goes!

Went in to get my industrial pierced about a year and some months ago. Took all of about 4-5minutes. They were very professional and told me exactly what they were doing. My industrial was my first big piercing and it healed quite well. Not going to lie, hurt for a while after getting it but they explained to me that industrials are easily infected and sometimes hard to clean. A year later and my industrial is doing great! Planning to go back to get my rook soon! Port City Tattoo is amazing!

I have had a lot of work done by jocko started in Hawaii to Florida and now it’s time for a road trip to see him at pct to get my sleeve finished won’t go to another artists. Give him an idea and let him run with it and you won’t be let down. Best in the business!

I am surprised that there arent more reviews of this place, Ive decided to really start rating everywhere I go. My artist was a guy named Justin Pierce, and I must say he was excellent. I was under the needle for about 4 hours today and got a beautiful leg piece done. He paid so much attention to detail ( trust me there was allot of it) I am very happy with it and I will be going back to get it colored in. If you ever are in need of a good artist I would highly recommend Justin.

Went here Saturday night 8:45pm, called before & was told to come on in. However walked through door and tattoo artist asleep on couch. Wakes up rolls his eyes. Says what do you want & informed him and he said he would draw it up & I would have to come back in tomorrow because they close @ 9. Ummmm its Saturday you close @ 10. Rudest customer service ever, my advice to anyone looking to go here....please do not. Ive never felt so disrespected everrrrrrrr. Horrible staff, very disappointed. Why would they tell me to come in if not enough time. No one mentioned a new store hours, please update website and sign on door, and employee who answers phone. Are you kidding me, who would hire ANYONE who would speak to a paying customer this way?!!!!

This was my first tattoo and it wasn’t that bad. I had fun laughing with Tony and talking about video games; it helped with blocking out the minor pain and discomfort. I will definitely be coming back here again for my next tattoo.

Being new to the area, I was trying to find a new shop to call home. I was less than impressed with various shops around town. I walked into this place with low expectations and was shocked to find one that smelled clean and had a well kept front area. I talked with Eric about a piece and got me setup in a week. The first time I came here was when I was 13 to get my nose pierced. I was super scared but the piercer, Mike, was really nice and helped calmed me down by making small talk. I felt safe there, and the employees were very nice and understanding. Piercing my nose went by fast, and simple. They told me a lot of good information on how to clean, made me feel welcomed to come back in for any problem, no matter how small it was. Here I am almost 16 and my nose is doing wonderful! One time I torn it out by accident and I went back and they re-pierced it for free!I also went back this summer when I was down in North Carolina visiting my dad, and I came in wanting 3 piercings. My cartilage, conch, and tragus. I got the same piercer has last time so I was more calm since he did such a great job last time. Mike was really nice and understanding just like last time. He made a lot of small talk to calm my nerves. Between the piercings he asked if I was okay, asked me how I was feeling. He made me feel like I was in a safe environment. Everything went smooth. He gave me great information and here I am about 3 months later and my piercings are doing great!Port City Tattoo is a wonderful place to be pierced! They have a safe and clean environment and made me feel more then welcomed during my visits. I cant wait for next summer so I can go back! :)
