I usually stop for the coffee .. So on that note the coffee is always fresh and the staff is always very friendly and helpful 😎🤘

Love, love, love the crushed ice here and the cost for a cup of ice or even a regular drink are cheaper than most anywhere else.

Thier gas prices are higher at this speed way and its nasty!!! And you have to wait in line for so long!!

I usually love coming to this store. Many of the workers there are friendly and kind and they always keep things stocked and clean. But for two nights in a row the person working the overnight shift, a man with long dreads, has turned away service from me and many other people simply because he just mopped the floor and he didnt want anyone to walk on it. I had to drive 45 minutes out of town at 4:00 in the morning just to get what I needed because he turned me away and even had the goal to ask me to wait for the floors to drive for him to assist me. I even asked politely if you would just help me get what I needed and I wouldnt walk across his floor. And again he told me to wait. He turned away six other people before I left. This is not a way to run a business. Otherwise the store should just close for cleaning. If youre not going to close for cleaning then you should at least be able to do your job even if it means having to mop a small part of the store again.

Wow if I were to live in this gas station Id be happy

Ive shopped at the speedway for years everybody there is nice cordial and most often even remember your name

If I could give this store a zero I would. They will let the line back up to the coolers and have one register open while other employees are standing around talking to friends. Most of the employees seem like they hate being there

This Speedway has been a REGULAR STOP for me, although I havent been in that part of town work-wise as much. However, in spite of my absence, I am NOT a forgotten person, by my VOICE (as I speak upon entry): Melissa turns and grabs my Cigarettes and I have only said Good morning! And FINALLY, I ALSO have the name of the EFFERVESCENT Manager: Maria. The thought of this Tag Team causes a BROAD SMILE 😁 across my face. They are the PRIDE of this Carolina Beach Road Speedway! 👍👍👍👍👍Pretty soon, I will have the WHOLE STAFF covered at my favorite stop for my brand of Cigarettes. I have had the disappointing experience of going there to get my Cigarettes, and have been told by a LAZY PERSON, who ONLY looked in the area beneath the counter, that they were out; and they DONT even check the back stock. One, when I asked if they WOULD check the back stock, had the AUDACITY to tell me that they had checked ALREADY, before I came in I must presume; because I NEVER SAW THEM GO BACK TO do so.However, TODAY was a good experience in that regard. AND I AM TELLING SOMETHING GOOD ON THE Customer Service Specialist Derrick: searching the area at the counter and finding none; HE TOOK THE INITIATIVE, WITHOUT PROMPTING, TO CHECK THE BACK STOCK; and came out with what I wanted! Kudos Derrick 👍👍👍👍👍

Busy gas station. Good selection of drinks and snacks. The parking lot can be a bit crazy to navigate during morning and lunch hours.

They just let anyone work here. I came in to get just two fountain drinks and all Kennedy could do was carry on a conversation with another customer about a lottery ticket. Finally when I had his attention I handed him $1.50, he said its 1.90 in the rudest way possible. I really wanted to slap the taste out of his mouth but I had a good day so praise the Lord. Thats the end of my rant

Any other day I like this gas station but today I dont NICK wouldnt take my money for gas because he already had too many $1 in his drawer money is money and last I checked thats the reason they have a safe to drop money when there is too much in their drawer smh
