I worked with Pamela and shes a gem! She was very welcoming and went out of her way to show me around. Ive never used a storage unit before and was a little nervous, but I had a great experience and strongly recommend using this facility. It was clean and had handy carts to make the move easier!

Store managers (store 5513, Wilmington NC) Pamela and Nicole were fabulous. My daughter was using the unit for college storage, and they were so friendly and helpful, offered some advice, and answered all of my questions about the unit and the lease. I am in a different state, so it was important to feel that my daughter was in good hands. The facility and unit themselves were very clean, easily accessed, conveniently located, and in a very safe area.

This is a very, very nice storage facility. Extremely clean and well lit. We were looking for a large storage unit after a harrowing cross state move, and Pamela was amazing. She was incredibly kind and helpful. So nice to work with. I hope this company knows what a great person they have working with them. She worked nonstop for the entire 10 hours we were there unloading. She made this week seem much less terrible. Thank you!

Cube Smart Garris road is amazing. It was my first time renting a storage unit and I underestimated how much space I needed. Nicole and Pamela were super helpful and professional through the whole process. Nicole rented me my first unit - then a couple days into my move, I was frantically trying to fit everything in and realized it would not fit. I was desperate and Pamela came to the rescue and walked me through my options. She was even able to rent me an additional unit right next door to my first unit!! A++ and safe, clean and secure! OMG! CubeSmart is the best storage facility in the world! At least as far as I know and I’ve seen quite a few! I feel like I’m stepping in to the future at CubeSmart after walking away from the old-fashioned typical storage unit filled with dust, pollen and spiderwebs. The few extra dollars for the climate controlled environment along with the extra security and the amazing extra large covered loading zone, makes it the best investment for storage anywhere in the country! :-))

Pamela was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of getting my storage unit here. The latch on the unit I was assigned to was broken and Pamela walked up with me and moved me to a different unit immediately with no issues, she even helped move some of my stuff down the hall into my new unit. The facility is very nice, brand new, all indoors, and incredibly secure with cameras everywhere with coded access to each door and even the elevator.

We went to the office after renting online and Nicole was very helpful with showing us our unit and how to access it.

This place is GREAT! My daughter used it a bit back, I was so impressed I went with them when I needed one! Way better than the other ones. Very well lit, completely dry and no bugs to worry about. I feel VERY safe and I feel safer about my stuff! Carts available that are strong enough for a couch and reserving was super painless !

Customer service was extremely professional and curteous everytime. I always felt personally safe and my belongings in unit were safe. The facilty was always clean and I loved the overhang so in the rain we stayed dry! I would have liked to have seen more cart availability but I obviously went when the rest of UNCW did too!!!

My horrible experience is due to Pamela in the main office. I am a small business owner and use a 6x12 enclosed trailer for work. I had parked my truck and trailer on the far side of the parking lot while loading. Making sure not to block the main parking spots that are typically used. Pamela came out and informed us that we had to move because she had two moving trucks coming in. Mind you, we are only there for a max of maybe 20 minutes. We had a 2nd conversation with Pamela where she was extremely rude AGAIN stating that we need to be more thoughtful to other people and we shouldnt take up the 4 spots we were in (the 4 furthest away spots). Said we needed to move to the road so the moving company trucks could park. We were using the carts to bring heavy tools out from our unit to the trailer. To have to push those all the way to the road would be difficult. As a business owner, I understand being respectful to other people and especially to customers. I did not feel that we were respected as a customer of CubeSmart. Pamela clearly puts moving companies ahead of the everyday customers. This is why I have taken my business to another storage facility in town that provides better customer service. Also, the bathroom that is used by customers was out of soap for a week straight. I had to go in the office to tell her and she stated she would get some on order.

CubeSmart-This storage facility is the best! I have rented storage spaces many times through the years and I would rate this one number 1.Pamela keeps everything immaculate. She is very friendly and helpful! There are carts you can use and an overhang in parking lot to keep you out of rain. Security concerns are covered and I always feel safe. Website makes handling rental very fast and easy.Definitely recommended👍

Great move in/move out process. Very friendly staff. Felt that the unit and the building were secure and safe during the time I had a storage unit. Only reason that I left was because we found a house to move our items into! Definitely would recommend for anyone who needs extra storage in the Wilmington area.

Beautiful brand new facility with amazing customer service.We came in on moving day during a horrible thunderstorm and the overhang on the building made moving during the storm no big deal. We had more furniture to take on home and needed a tarp, one of the sweetest reps offered to take me to Home Depot for a tarp so our things weren’t ruined. I’ll use this facility and other cube smarts for all my storage needs.

We were excited when a storage facility opened in this great location. Then we met Steve and his team who helped us select the right climate control storage from our needs. The place is spotless, well lit, and secure. We know our items being stored there will stay safely and remain in great shape. Finally, getting in and out of the facility has been very easy; so much better than battling traffic to the north.

My friends and I rent out spaces to store our college supplies while schools out and CubeSmart was quick easy and had great customer service! I would definitely recommend to a friend and will be coming back to use their services in the future.

When my Daughter got sent home from UNCW during COVID-19 I worked with CubeSmart over the phone from Massachusetts to set up an account for my Daughter and her friend to rent a storage unit to hold their stuff the next day. They had to fly home and I had no way of driving down the time they had to move out.

My wife and I visited the location at 20 Garris Road this past Sunday. We werent in a hurry to rent a storage unit, but were so impressed by Pam Irwin that we rented on the spot. She took her time with us and answered all our questions. She has followed up with us and its been a nothing but a pleasure dealing with her.
