After trekking through so many stores with falling apart showroom furniture, I was happy to find that Ethan Allen makes solid furniture. I was looking to replace my current table, chair sets, office, and bedroom furniture with something durable, but matches my home decor.Megan was very knowledgeable with what Ethan Allen makes, and was receptive to my design ideas. It was important that the furniture match my style, and Megan made sure that each furniture piece would fit exactly into each room. There was so many choices and custom features that made my furniture unique for me. From the table legs style to the fabric of my headboard. The only thing I didn’t like is that Ethen Allen bookshelves do not come with an option for extra shelves. Megan made sure to keep me updated to when the furniture would be finished and when it would be delivered.The delivery crew was very respectful of my home, making sure each furniture piece had felt pads were they might scratch my floors, and made sure everything was were I wanted in the house. Including assembling furniture and taking furniture upstairs.This experience was wonderful, everything looks great and fits just where I need it to.I would definitely shop with Megan and Ethan Allen again.

Megan and Jennifer were amazing! We are building a new home and the process to select furniture has been challenging. We had visited MANY stores but never really loved what we saw. We walked into Ethan Allen and were met by a cheerful Megan. She was so professional and helpful with no pressure. We shared our decorating thoughts with her and she was so wonderful in offering her suggestions. We loved them all! Ive worked with other designers but did feel they were in touch with my personality. I cant say enough good things about working with Megan. She came into my home to measure the space and I could immediately tell she knew she had a higher level of expertise in the design field. She did not force her concept as we were talking about my desired end effect. I felt my voice was heard with the pieces I wanted to keep in the room and pieces I was open to changing.Megan designed the space and had color photos of what my space would look like when I visited the showroom to select fabrics. She had absolutely beautiful color combinations ready to sort through. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at the level at which the colors and patterns/solids blended. The explanation on how to layer patterns and when to go with a print, when to go with a darker color, when to go lighter made so much sense!Megan even called after I left the showroom to see if I wanted to have a bench tufted. That was just the right touch for the solid material I selected. She is passionate about her work and strives for a complete customer satisfaction experience.Megan is amazing! I cant wait to get the pieces into my space!

Megan has been great! She helped us with the flow of an open floor plan, work with pieces we had already had and pull our vision to a perfect result.

The furniture was beautifully made as Ethan Allen always delivers. One hiccup occurred when the delivery team did not know how to set up the bed frame. Luckily a technician was able to come out within 24 hrs and remedy the set up. In the mean time, there was concern that the headboard holes were drilled in the wrong spot. I am happy that it worked out…. Just not the usual seamless delivery.

I find the whole idea of furniture shopping to be kind of horrible. But working with Cathy Disher was great. She managed the number of things I needed to worry about, so I could make meaningful choices instead of spending hours looking at almost-identical fabric swatches. And the choices I did make, I really like. Cathy was never pushy, always professional, but most of all friendly and fun to talk to. Shes going to come out to my new place to do some decorating and Im looking forward to it.

Sales and showroom ... she was great. BUT shed / wed select a fabric based on wear, SHOULD have worked according to the label... then thed tell her it couldnt. AAAHH! - Then the design in the fabric... they MATCHED PERFECTLY going around some corners, then other corners were a TERRIBLE MISMATCH. They said it was impossible to match the pattern... but other places it matched PERFECTLY! VERY DISAPPOINTED in quality. NEVER but from them again!

I found Laura Dotson one of the most helpful and knowledgeable designers I have ever worked with!She came to my house several times, which was a tremendous benefit to me. She was patient as I was trying to hone in on my color pallet- helpful the whole way!Ethan Allen has such a versatile selection of options to choose from. I have ALWAYS found their product of the highest quality!I am not entirely finished on my up dating project and feel confident and very fortunate to have Laura as my design consultant. She is truly the best in every way!

I also want to share an anecdote to help you decide which brand of furniture is right for you.19 years ago as a frugal homeowner I wrestled with the purchase decision for a large EA sectional sofa which seemed so expensive at the time. Since then it has withstood the rigors of heavy daily use, perhaps even abuse and neglect, and it never failed us. Only recently have we concluded it is due for restoration or replacement. Seeking information associated with that need is what put me in touch with Laura as a remote customer. With my recent entire home renovation, required some new furniture. Having seen my friend’s new home with the beautiful furniture and decor, I knew that Sabrina was who I needed to help me with this project. I like that she had me to complete an assessment of what I liked and was able to design my home based on my answers. But of course, she would always be quick to let me know when an item would not be suitable for my home. She would give me reasons for why or why not. Her attention to detail of the colors and the type of fabrics was invaluable in making my selections. Sabrina also went beyond helping with furniture and decor, but was very helpful with the selection of doors, countertops, and flooring. I have received so many compliments on my home. On more than one occasion it has been said this house looks like a picture from a magazine. Everyday, I am still amazed at how beautiful it looks. It can be summed up in one word, WOW!!!

We wanted use our friend Fadi Anas as an outlet, and he then brought in Megan Jones as a design partner. Fadi knows our area and pretty much knew what wanted. I had an OUTSTANDING experience with Ethan Allen and my designer Megan Jones and Kelly whos last name I cant remember. Not only did she stealth listen to my ramblings and incorporate them into her idea for my space, she had alternate options when I had ideas of my own.In addition, when Megan and Kelly made site visits to my home, they helped me make some changes that were simple but totally outside my ability that complimented the stuff I bought from EA.This was a fantastic experience and a space that I pretty much avoided in my house is now where I spend a LOT of time. I love it. I dont think there is a better recommendation than that.

I was so overwhelmed with my experience with Laura. She was very knowledgeable of design and quickly to pickup on my style. She went above and beyond my expectations. Everybody that come to my homeare amazed at my kitchen stools and rug that I purchased from Laura. But most of all we have created a great relationship business as well as friendship.

I visit here yearly to gaze at a seas set of chairs I just cant bring myself to buy since six chairs are about 3000 i think. But i love, love, love those chairs. This place also helped me to pick out one paint color for my house because they create little rooms with different colors to help you imagine what it could look like in your home. And the customer service is excellent. But a little pricey for me! Im just a regular person!

My purchase experience was much simplier than expected. Sabrina was extremely helpful with suggestions regarding specifics of a sofa I had chosen online. Very pleased that I ordered the upgraded cushions. The sofa is just as comfortable, maybe better, as reclining on a mattress! Love the ottoman also. Thank you!!

The furniture is customizable and priced to match. I did purchase a bench for the bedroom. Mostly because it was a custom piece (extra high and my hubby is handicapped and tall, so has trouble getting up from low chairs, etc.) that wasnt picked up and it was clearance. Its beautiful and perfect for hubby.

We have been working with an amazing designer at Ethan Allen Winston Salem for the past two years. Her name is Jennifer Ainsworth and she is just incredible. She has a true gift for asking the right questions and really listening to the answers. This not only helped her learn about us but also helped us learn ourselves about the home we were trying to create. She could visualize things when we couldn’t and could see the big picture when we got hung up on the details. She took the time to get to know us and became a partner with us in the design and furnishing of our home. We are very pleased with all the furniture, accessories, rugs and window treatments we have purchased from Ethan Allen. We can not say enough wonderful things about Jennifer and highly recommend her. She is incredibly talented and a joy to work with.

Went in with money to buy a living room suite, bedroom suite, guest room suite. The lady at the desk was sweet, the sales lady on the other hand was very rushed. I came at 5PM with them closing at 6 we mainly focused on the bedroom suite. I fell in love with one and was ready to buy when the sales lady told me she had to leave at 5:20PM and to give her my number so we could schedule another day. Well I ended up at a competitor and purchased around 8k in furniture. May wanna speak with your sales staff.

Building a new home. Met with designer to layout room and choose some furniture pieces. After spending about 2 1/2 hours doing thisshe informed me that I could not get a copy of the layout she had put on the computer. Said it was store policy not to give it out because I might go else where to purchase furniture. Truly a shame that they do not have enough confidence in their designers that they are capable of of building working relationships with customers that they would not go some where else. I had the layout in my head because I looked at it for over 2 hoursso its not like I really needed it. Its the principle of the fact that they wasted my time and was insulting not to gladly give me a copy. Will never purchase from there. I was also going to do custom bedding.

They only reason I gave this 5 stars is because of the high quality products they sell. But remember with high quality comes higb prices.

My chairs arrived 4-6 weeks earlier than promised, and they are beautifully upholstered. I am more than pleased with the service and the furniture!
