I would give these kids all the stars times five if I could. They made my experience easy and fun. They are very knowledgeable about what they do and very helpful if you’re picking out frames by yourself. Plus which they are absolutely top-notch professional. This is probably the best fit in glasses I’ve had in a very long time. I cannot recommend him highly enough and as long as I live close enough I will never get my glasses any place else.

Friendly staff was very attentive to my needs and informative to help me find the best fit and style for my eyes. My previous prescription (from another shop) was giving me headaches. Eyes on Trade was able to take my existing prescription, and apply it to the new frames such that my vision seems much clearer than before, and no more headaches. I bought glasses from Eyes on Trade a couple of years ago and needed a new prescription. The optometrist was very thorough and the prescription is perfect. They put new lenses in my frames, which are still in good shape, as well as a pair of sunglasses.The staff is very friendly and communication is excellent. Lenses were ready earlier than promised. Nice selection of Erkers, Moscot and other brands.Eyes on Trade is great in every way. Pleased to shop at a local business -- highly recommend.

I felt comfortable and welcome from the first time I walked in Eyes On Trade. I was just looking at the styles and chatting with staff when I decided I wanted to make an appointment. They were great getting me in, checking insurance and my old prescriptions. The doctor was fantastic and talked with me about my vision concerns. Eyes on Trade is a great place to get your eyes checked and get great looking eyeglasses. The personal care and attention you get is second to none. The people are kind and helpful and do a wonderful job making sure you get just what you need. I’ve been going here for a few years now and I literally wouldn’t go anywhere else. First things first, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion highlighted here is so comfortably noticeable that it needs to be acknowledged and praised. From employees who come to work accepted with their art/tattoos, to the diversity of race and ethnicity represented in the staff, the intake form asking for pronouns and preferred name, all the way down to the local queer support sticker on the door. This is a safe and welcoming location. Additionally, the staff were phenomenally kind, complimentary, and instructional (giving details of how and why during each step of the visit and what’s coming next). Finally, and one of my favorite things in eye wear or shopping, the staff is comfortable giving suggestions and opinions (both proactive and detractive from what they think fits well or looks good on your face). Talk this place up, because they can back up the hype. Wonderful, wonderful place!

Outstanding customer service by the entire staff. The eye exam was quick and easy, and they explained every step. Dr. Warsi-Zehri is personable and was the first optometrist Ive ever seen who took time to ask me about how my eyes are doing, any concerns I have or what might help me, unlike others who just confirm what your prescription is and send you off. The selection of styles is phenomenal, and having a 1:1 consultation to figure out what style looks best was extremely helpful! Even after getting my glasses (which came in a lovely case!), I was able to go back for adjustments as needed. Honestly I wish I had another pair of eyes so I could shop here more often!

I had an amazing experience at Eyes on Trade! Everyone was super kind and attentive! I was in and out pretty quickly for an eye exam and new frames. They have excellent protocols in place for COVID19 safety and I felt very good about that. Everyone was so welcoming and had great energy. Each staff I interacted with had genuine conversation with me and made me feel like a priority. Maggie was absolutely amazing! She helped me pick out the perfect frames! She shared her opinions and was able to hear exactly what I wanted and reinforce that with my selections. She took the time to ask questions and give me feedback. Her attention helped make a situation that usually takes forever and gives me anxiety, a peaceful one full of good vibes! I’m so thankful! I wish I knew everyone’s names to thank them individually! I recently purchased eyeglasses here. I have rarely been satisfied with my former purchases of glasses. I asked the young ladies here to pick frames that they thought would look good. I chose the pair recommended and now receive many compliments. I went back to get prescription sunglasses as I am about to take flying lessons. Again, these remarkably stylish women picked my frames. I ordered all the options including polarized lenses. I assumed those would be ideal as a pilot. After returning home Eyes on Trade called to say that research indicated polarized lenses could obscure the aircraft indicators and gauges. A dangerous situation. They offered to coat the lenses, more expensive than polarization as an option. I accepted the advice and they did not upcharge me for the more appropriate lenses. Had they not called I would have been stuck with an expensive and useless pair of glasses. These folks are very knowledgeable, kind, and concerned. They possibly saved my life.Please shop here !

I work with a traveling animatronic dinosaur event and just so happened to be in North Carolina this week for a show here. I was worried about getting glasses anywhere because they would have to get shipped to me and then theyd get lost in the endless sea of hotels and places we end up. My glasses have been broken for almost a year now leaving me like one of the three blind mice and lately with work not being able to see properly is becoming a huge problem. I was wandering downtown and stumbled upon Eyes on Trade, first because the glasses I saw beautiful glasses and then because the ladies were all so unique. I have never been so happy in with customer service in my life until I stepped into Eyes on Trade. The ladies answered every single question I had with expert knowledge and a genuine desire to help and that really stuck with me. I chose out amazing glasses and was helped with sizing and all that jazz. I was worried about getting prescription because of having it shipped but they actually ended up doing my glasses so quickly before I had to leave town for the next event. I am so grateful for the ladies at Eyes on Trade, I couldnt leave without giving each of them a big bear hug. But truly I want to go back and send them a million flowers and sweets for how much they helped me. Every time I look in the mirror and see my glasses I almost cry thinking about how unbelievably amazing and kind these ladies were. If youre reading this, know that I cant thank you enough!!! My eye exam was one hour beginning to end. I was never waiting in the back for a long time. The employees really put you at ease and Dr. Heisler is AMAZING. She was really helpful and has great bedside manners. She thoroughly explained what she was seeing in my retina scans and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend, especially if you work in downtown Winston Salem.

Its all on the walls where you can pace, look, and try things on readily.Lastly, the process is incredibly affordable and allows you to knock out an eye exam, fitting and consultation all in one shot - at a low, predetermined rate, staged by which wall youre on.Its super fun, easy and the opposite of intimidating. 2 Stars- I loved Eyes on Trade when it first opened up. I purchased a pair of frames from them. Super cute and I loved my first experience. This was about a year and a half ago. I still have those frames and knew I needed a new eye exam coming up. Since I loved this place and the business I decided to request an appointment online. Requesting an appointment thru email is more convenient for me at times. I received a reply on 2/13 about how a time I requested couldn’t be done due to 2/15 being fully booked. Ok no worries. I emailed back asking about 2/18. This is where the line went dead. No replies, no nothing. It is now Thursday. 2/20/20 I was disappointed that I did not receive a reply or anything. I follow their business on Facebook and noticed throughout this whole time they were posting on their Facebook story. I understand how people get busy but they’re operating a business here and setting up appointments. I decided to just try my luck somewhere else. Not sure if I’ll be returning here or not. I had only limited days to come in for an appointment and 2/18 was one of my best days. Very disappointing.
