This review is based on two shopping experiences and reflects the average (of a 4 and a 0). I had a small ‘L’ countertop installed in Oct 2020 - they offered me a great deal on a granite remnant from the outdoor yard. That came out very nice but the sales rep was a little rough giving me pause on using them again. I had a larger kitchen job using over a full slab. I had shopped a number of fabricators clustered close together but I felt they were all quoting inflated MSRP type quotes (and maybe working together as I saw one firms van in another’s garage!). My wife and I decided to visit Gerrity stone and we contacted the prior sales rep. We made a mid morning appointment and waited in the showroom that morning. We were greeted by the General Manager and after explaining our needs and coming back to see what high volume contractor quartz would be best priced (something offered in 2020), he handed us to the sales reps assistant as he learn the Sales rep was not in the building. The GM expressly said, “I love when a shopper does their homework” as I had a design layout in hand and shared the price range I was looking for. The assistant was great and we saw a few choices we liked and were priced great. During our drive home, the sales rep called and started to berate me for “shopping him” at which point I just had to hang up. He then texted to call him back as the call ‘dropped…to which I later replied “ It didn’t drop. I was driving in the car with my wife. We didn’t appreciate your comments and tone after not showing for our appointment. Shopping for countertops is not a crime and should be expected. Do not call or contact me again. `your assistant` was very nice and she may email the quotes we discussed with her and the GM.”I did get very competitive quotes and have no issue with their quality, but after my wife called to share out experience with the GM, he acknowledged the experience but was ‘understanding’ of his Sales rep. We ultimately found another local “independent” fabricator and they even beat Gerrity’s price to boot! We will be leaving a glowing review for them. Buyer beware of the “Gerrity” experience.
Gerrity Stone did a great job on my 93-year-old father’s countertop. Tonia really took great care of us in the showroom and made sure my father understood and was happy with his choices. Everyone, from the man who came to make the template, to the demolition crew, to the installers was so helpful and experienced. Melissa did a great job with the scheduling and keeping me informed about crew arrivals. I would recommend Gerrity Stone to anyone and plan to use them on any future projects.
This is my new granite counter. I bought it from Home Depot and it was installed by Gerrity. The seam looked terrible so I asked them to make it looks less noticeable. These are the pictures after they “fixed” it. I sent these pictures to them and asked if they would be happy if this was in their home. According to Gerrity Stone, “ it’s our professional opinion this seam looks to be a 1st quality seam. In my opinion as as customer this seam is horrible. If you are looking for a company that does a good job and treats their customers with respect and believes that the customer’s opinion has some merit I suggest you do not go with Gerrity Stone.
Gerrity Stone did my counters and vanity, customer service was great, installers were very knowledgeable and polite. My salesman Todd was fantastic. We had a couple of little glitches I reached out to Todd and everything was taken care of expeditiously.. Great company great people highly recommend..,
I cannot say enough good stuff about my experience with Garrity. From the office staff to the field staff, everyone was friendly, efficient and helpful. The office team were quick to respond and very knowledgeable. The team member who came out to template was patient and knowledgeable and went through my questions thoroughly. Lastly, the team sent to complete the job was fantastic. They were friendly, efficient, professional and cleaned up after themselves. The whole process from start to finish was completely stress-free. I highly recommend Garrity.
Their work is AMAZING. Great price, great product. Their staff is SUPER knowledgeable about their product. The staff who came to install and measure the countertops were very professional. Thanks again.
We had two bathroom counter tops and one kitchen counter top done with Gerrity Stone. The experience was good. We like the counter top options offered by the store. Customer Services were very responsive. They schedule things quickly and deliver the counter top very soon. Very professional. Show room was clean and neat.
I was so happy with the services at Garrity Stone. Everyone was so helpful from start to finish. My install was perfect, on time, and cleaned before leaving. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
Gerrity Stone was amazing from start to finish. I am very pleased with the level of service they provided throughout the process. Scheduler was really great, Aaron who did the template was awesome and the guys that did the fabrication and install were absolutely amazing especially Wilbur. Cant say enough about the them and their attention to detail. Thank you so much Gerrity and I am thrilled with my new countertops!!!
Absolutely and as a customer to have done business with your company I feel its reasonable for me to write an honest review with proof and facts about the whole situation given that I have dated proof and Gerrity Stone still establishes that they are not responsible. I never got a call from your company to talk about the decision made. It was given to me by Home Depot and they are resolving at their end. If only I approached your company directly, this damage by your fabricators would not have been covered and I would be paying out of my pocket which seems a lot of customers went through as per yelp and google and other reviews.
Terrible customer support. I paid for a backslash and their templater choose to make the decision to cancel my backslash I paid for and said I signed off on it (I have no records of a sign off nor does Homedepot). Stay away.
I have used Gerrity for two projects recently. One was for just a small vanity top and the other for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Both went very smoothly, from my meeting with Todd to installation. Todd was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. I would not hesitate to use Gerrity again.
Right from the very begining Gerrity Stone was amazing to work with. Working with Mark,Victor,Ronaldo and the gentlemen at install,it was so incredibly smooth and fun. We are extremely happy with the entire process. They are so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when it came to picking out the granite we wanted. The granite is so beautiful and brings our entire kitchen together. We cannot thank Gerrity Stone enough!!
My wife and I worked with Gina C. at Gerrity Stone directly for a bar project in our basement. From the day we walked into the Woburn showroom Gina was amazing to work with. She listened to our ideas and walked us through the process of fabricating the counter tops, including showing us how it was going to be cut and working around some less-desirable portions of the granite slab. Gerritys installers were highly professional and the end product is absolutely amazing.
What started as a good experience, did not end well. I would not recommend using Gerrity. There are other companies that will treat customers with respect, but not this one.
Nice company and nicer employees. Countertop getting installed in another week. So far working with their customer service folks and my experience dropping off my sink, has been wonderful. Well done.
They pay no attention to detail and just mass produce their projects. In fact, when I questioned their work, they took no responsibility. Instead, they blamed me for not catching their mistakes in the first place and told me it was wall my fault because I had paid extra to see the plans ahead of time and so I had signed off on it. You can’t see anything from the image (of the plan we paid extra for) in terms of if the veins line up or not - I was told they did and so I trusted what they said. And, the seams from the backsplash and counters are shown lining up in the plans, but they were installed a few inches off. They did come back to fix it, but ruined my walls again when taking out the old pieces so I had to get a painter to fix the problems again. It was a huge inconvenience. The plan you pay $150 for is horrible and not worth anything. Don’t do it because, again, they will then blame you for all their mistakes. And, they don’t just blame you, they yell at you - I can’t believe how they speak to their customers. I would never recommend this company and hope you stay far away from them.
Victor, Mark, and Ryan were professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in picking out our beautiful quartz countertops. Even during COVID, the countertops were measured and delivered in a timely matter. I would recommend Gerrity Stone for all budgets and tastes.
Victor Martinez is the best! Had my counters ordered and installed in 2 weeks, service was excellent. Installers were very professional, clean and courteous.
I am so happy with the service at Garrity Stone. I stopped in last minute, end of day. Mike greeted me with enthusiasm, and was extremely helpful. The install went perfectly, they showed up on time and cleaned thoroughly before leaving. Garrity Stone will definitely be in my contacts of go to for my projects.
I am very happy with gerrity stone from the first time I went to showroom and yes I went back a few times. Everyone there was very helpful. The service was quick and professional. The installers were very polite and very professional. Mark and mike were great. Mike called after job was done just to assure we were happy. I will definitely use gerrity stone again and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Gerrity has now done my kitchen and master bath. Both experiences have been on point. Good pricing, responsive staff (thanks Mike G) and always exactly on schedule. No excuses. Materials are top notch, selection incredible and overall experiences have been an A+. I would highly recommend to anyone.
From the time I worked with Home Depot picking out a counter top and sink to the time Gerrity Stone installed my counter top it was about 3 weeks. Renaldo who came out to measure, was great. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with all the questions I had. The guys who came out to install the counter top were also great. The women who I dealt with over the phone were also great and very helpful. I highly recommend Gerrity Stone.
I was so pleased with the total professionalism and quality of work by Victor Martinez and Gerrity Stone. He did everything PERFECT . Price was $1800.00 less than three other quotes. I can not say enough about Gerrity Stone in Woburn amazing. THANK YOU BWK construction for this referral
My new countertops are the finishing touch on a new kitchen. Working with Gerrity was easy and pleasant, from the way they got me quickly put on the schedule for the template, to communicating with me and with my kitchen designer from Jackson Kitchens. The counters look just as I hoped and the whole project looks beautiful.
We are renovating an island cabin on Lake Winnipesaukee and a lot of stone suppliers didnt have any interest in taking the job since they have to transport the slabs on a boat and carry them uphill to the house. Then we were introduced to Mark and Victor @ GerrityStone. Everyone was great, from start to finish. Victor helped us determine what we needed without even seeing the kitchen. The installers were Wilber, Wilber & Hugo. They showed up on time, loaded the slabs onto the boat at the marina, carried them up the hill to the cabin, and did an EXCEPTIONAL job installing the slabs. Their attention to detail was second to none. We plan on calling them next year for another kitchen job!
1/10 customer service. Paid for the product and service but they could not deliver. Wrong measurement and rude attitude operation staff. Highly not recommend.
I couldn’t have had a worse experience. They measured wrong, installed the countertop incorrectly and then lied about it when I questioned them. If there was a way to get my money back, I would. So disappointed in the company, my experience and the countertops.
We had a wonderful experience with Mike Germano from Gerrity Stone and the template/install crew was fantastic as well! Mike was very patient throughout my looong decision making process and was super attentive/responsive! I called while our contractor was installing our island and needed some technical questions answered and Mike was quick to get the answers we needed - and even got the guy who was working on our special island counter cut on the phone to talk to me! We’ll definitely be referring friends and family and will be back for any of our future stone needs!
As an independent Interior Designer, it is imperative to partner with professionals that will delivery nothing but the best to my clients. this is my partnership with Gerrity Stone. I have worked with them for 15 years. My inside rep is Gail Silveira. Gail is quick, efficient and pays attention to details. Working with Gail, takes away stress from me because I know she will do a job well done on the first try. The entire team at Gerrity stone is made of professionals, knowledgeable and respectful individuals. From the template guys to the installers and all the staff at the office and the shop that makes my projects go seamless. I recommend Gerrity stone. I will continue to work with them in all my projects that requires counter tops
Great experience. Very knowledgable and help staff. To help narrow down so many options.
We recently finished a project with Gerrity Stone, with an excellent guiding hand provided by Gail Silveira. We picked 3 different granites for use in 2 bathrooms and family room (a fireplace/bookcase wall needed counter tops, mantle, fireplace surround and hearth.) We are very pleased with the end result. One of the bathrooms required more thoughtful templating due to the variability of the veining. We loved the stone, but were concerned that too much of the veining would dominate in the wrong area. Gail was terrific. After picking out which of their many slabs we wanted to use, Gail reserved 2 slices, with the 2nd as a backup in case something unfortunate happened to the stone during cutting. (Nothing did!) She had us pick where we wanted our various pieces cut from the stone. We loved the way they matched the side and back splashes to the vanity so the vein pattern was continuous. This also happened with the tub surround. Good job all around.
Over the past twenty five years, my wife and I have been very satisfied with the level of professional service, selection, price, attention to detail and customer servuce that the great folks at Gerrity Stone have consistently delivered to us over the years (since 1992) on our kitchen renovations. We have been witness to how Gerrity as a company has evolved in adopting the latest in the technology (laser measurement systems, CAD tools etc).Though they have substantially grown as a company in terms of sales and employees, they have maintained their small family feel culture to extending friendly and dedicated customer service.Bottom line, if you are planning a kitchen reno or outdoor entertainment area that you wish to employ beautiful granite or quartz counters, no one will beat Gerrity Stone for quality, selection, price and excellent level of service. Call Mike Germano and you will not go wrong.Joel and Marie
Our experience with Gerrity Stone was fantastic. We worked with Mike Germano on countertops for our new kitchen. Mikes deep knowledge of the extensive options Gerrity offers was only outmatched by his passion for his work. Mike really listened - he understood our needs, likes and budget and then guided us through various options until we found the perfect quartz design. We absolutely love our kitchen counters and are forever thankful to Gerrity and Mike for all their help!
Great experience from start to finish. Willson was very courteous and professional when he came to create the template. Welington and his installation crew were polite and efficient and the work was exceptional. He went above and beyond the call to put our minds at ease when we realized there was a mistake in the order (NOT the fault of Gerrity). Everyone I spoke to by phone and in person was patient and helpful and took the time to answer all our questions. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted and expected.
I was super nervous after reading some of the reviews here. I had already paid for my installation through home Depot and the read the reviews when I found out. Gerrity was the vendor. I called them directly to set up my template and install. The ladies in the office were very friendly and returned calls promptly. Start to finish my project took a week. The price was great, the installers went above and beyond and I couldnt be happier.
Gerrity Stone in Woburn did a fabulous install job of the quartz in my home.Highly recommend them for fabricators.Professional, Neat & Polite--They did a GREAT JOB--END RESULT--I LOVE IT!
Gerrity Stone s installation was an great experience beginning to end. I bought my countertops through Home Depot. They called promptly to set up an appointment, let me know when they were on their way. The measurements tech was very courteous and made sure he understood what I wanted. They delivered the countertops a few days later. The installers were prompt and extremely neat. I struggle to find the seam! Thrilled with the whole process.
I’ve worked with them a couple occasions for kitchen granite installation and they did a great job.
Wahc out they are layers dont by from them they bring wrong stuff
Absolutely Horrible!!! Do NOT deal with this company. We place 2 orders. One for marble for our office and laundry room. And another large Deckton order for our kitchen. We ordered it through Home Depot. On the day of delivery, the marble was completely different from the sample we’ve seen at Home Depot. It’s the ugliest piece of stone I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t be surprised they gave us a slab that no one wanted. When we called AMY (our rep) and asked to find out what the policy is if we weren’t happy with the stone. Not only was she not helpful, and offered NO options, she told us to suck it up, and she also blamed us for not seeing the stone. She NEVER gave us the option to see it!!!! We didn’t know we could see it because we ordered it through Home Depot. If we had the option, we would have dropped everything and taken a look. We spoke to Home Depot and they told us that Gerrity/AMY was suppose to allow us to see the stone when it comes into their warehouse. It’s obvious our rep AMY dropped the ball. We have another $6,000+ Deckton order for our kitchen and I am extremely concerned because this company is obviously irresponsible when issues comes up. They blame customer and does absolutely NOTHING! I am so glad we didn’t start our outdoor kitchen project yet because that is another big order I am NOT willing to risk with Gerrity Stone.
Gerrty stone, hands down worst communication with customers!!!1) The first time they came out to install, they were over an hour late. They came in and said they could not complete the job because of brackets... (how would I as a non contractor suppose to know that?).2) They tried to charge a rescheduling fee?! $1503) Home Depot said we got a sink... in fact we did. But how do we use a sink without a faucet? It was never communicated that you need to purchase it separate. They show a faucet in the pamphlet??4) The second time they came out, they were late again, and couldn’t get out of here fast enough. They did the project quick and moved on.5) Calling them and speaking to the project manager was almost impossible! When I got on the phone with her she ashured me that they would be there on time without any issues... called again to tell her they were late and no answer or call back.6) If you need stone... go somewhere else. If you do work with them. Keep in mind you might need brackets, a ledge, or cleats, and a deff a faucet.7) At the end of the day we got the countertops installed.. however it took 2 trips and whole lot of hassle. Communication is key when it comes to big projects and a lot of moving parts. Sadly this was way more difficult than need be!
The measurer mis-measured our kitchen counter, leaving too little room for the faucet.when it was installed. The installer left without telling me that he hadnt cut the hole for the faucet. After I called the scheduler, the installer returned the next day, removed the backsplash, and took it to be lathed down to a thinner dimension. At that point we were able to reconnect the faucet and disposal.. The backsplash was reinstalled today. Schedulers have been helpful. Installers are the weak link.Remaining problems: 1) Gouges in wall around the backsplash; 2) A half-inch gap between the backsplash and the wall-tiles above it; 3) They did not secure the dishwasher to the new countertop so it falls out on the user.I cannot remember, in all my 62 years, ever working with a contractor who hired such incompetent workmen.
Terrible customer service! Left voicemails for 5 days for an install date, 2 wks after templating and still havent received a call back! Awful, awful customer service!!!!
Wonderful service, extremely supportive, & always professional. Belated thanks for my gorgeous counters!
Unsafe drivers in company vehicles. S21206 no turn signals and cutting off other cars.
Unprofessional, angry, and downright dangerous driver weaving in and out of traffic, passing people on the right in the brakedown lane, etc. The driver should consider himself lucky that there was no police officer around, because I have no doubt in my mind he would have had his license revoked had there been.
