Oh my, I don’t know how they make these rolled omelettes but they are amazing. I’m not a big coffee drinker but their coffee was delicious and paired perfectly with their yummy pastries. Not only that the have the perfect location in downtown Wooster. I can’t wait to return.

We shared a walnut crescent nut roll that was delicious. About 4 or 5 different coffees available for self service. All we tried were rich and flavorful. No weak coffee here. I also tried s raspberry pastry that was excellent. Dine in or outside on the sidewalk cafe to enjoy the sights on the square.

This cafe is a gem! The staff is lovely and the food is beautiful. I recommend the French omelet plate and a macchiato.Charming atmosphere with genuine European feel. Please take time to enjoy an afternoon fika here.

We shared two slices of The Tuscan rolled omelet. It was delicious and came with toast. We also each had a pastry. I love that the pastries are only lightly sweetened. Mine was filled with chopped walnuts, my husbands was flaky with lots of poppy seed. The coffee was so good, even the decaf.

I would give this establishment a 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. They deserve 5 out of 5 for their baked goods and from what I hear from others a 5 out of 5 for their hot coffee. I have had their baked goods in the past and found them very enjoyable.Today my wife and I asked for frozen blended coffees, caramel flavored in particular. My wife wanted hers with regular milk and I wanted mine with almond milk. The service was very friendly. But after giving us our drinks the lady who made them apologized if they were a little inconsistent because they dont do frozen blended often. We didnt taste them until we got out to the car. Both drinks lacked any sweetness or any of the requested flavoring and we werent able to drink them. We understand their desire to serve all customers with coffee needs. But if it isnt something you do often enough to be good at, then dont serve it. They are good at pastries and hot coffee.

Wow. Just wow. I had the mushroom and homemade dumpling soup and I can say handsdown it was the BEST soup Ive ever ordered in my life. Mouth watering. The coffee was also ridiculously smooth and well priced. Staff was friendly and patient when my husband had an issue with his card working.

This place was quiet at 11am on a Saturday - which is shocking, because it was great. Food, coffee, service, all amazing. Authentic, homemade Hungarian pastries and the Hungarian coffee was so good we grabbed a bag for the road. They even ground the beans for us! Great hole in the wall for breakfast if youre visiting.

I picked up a dobos torte on Friday, to be the finale to Sunday dinner featuring all Hungarian recipes. It was the perfect ending to our meal. I will never pass through Wooster without stopping again! Thank you!

Everything Ive had here has been excellent! Rolled omelet sandwich, pastries, coffee... So good. Service was excellent as well. Only wished I lived closer to visit more often! Must stop when in Wooster!

A rare find, appears to be a home owned family business. Great hungarian food and coffee. My wife and myself even ordered coffee to take home, which they ground up for us (we dont like whole). Definitely recommend (even more so if you have some hungarian heritage)

Ive been here several times and its always a great experience. Quaint location in a historical building makes you feel like youre in Europe. The owner is a sweet friendly lady and is often present. Unique, great tasting food options always makes this stop a memorable experience.

Real old time Hungarian pastry shop. I wish Id have picked up all pastries but Id have eaten all of them at one seating.Super nice service and food is delish especially loved the turos retes.I cook hungarian food but it always such a treat to have a real hungarian experience . I was waiting for this day for a long time as I dont have any hungarian restaurant near me.It really made my day!

Great food, pastries, and coffee! I love going here to work or just hang with friends. The food items are not huge portions, so if you have a big appetite it may not be quite enough food for you. The staff is excellent and always friendly. One of my fav little coffee places in Wooster!

I had lunch here I ate the chicken paprikosh crepes with cucumber salad and my mother had the classic Hungarian goulash. Both were excellent. The coffee and deserts were amazing as well. They also offered complementary fruit infused water that was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Traditional Hungarian dishes. Service was polite and quick, and the building wasnt crowded. Food had a wide variety of options and was tasty and fairly priced. The building itself was pleasant and clean, with tasteful decoration. The only thing I might say against it is that there are only a handful of seats, and some rest directly in front of the counter. Space is limited. Still, definitely a worthwhile visit.

Very quaint, welcoming space off the square in Wooster. The savory foods, and delectable pastries are incredible. What we found was a treasure spot. The owner, Elizabeth, makes everything from scratch, a true labor of love. The staff, Patty, and Reilly made tasty suggestions, are wonderfully friendly, and a delight to get to know. A place we stumbled upon, by accident, that we will intentionally visit again. Give them a try...you wont be disappointed!

Best cup of coffee Ive had in Wayne County. If youre in downtown Wooster, definitely worth the stop! I did not try any of the beautiful pastries or any of their lunch options, but I look forward to going back! Service was helpful too with all of my questions. Always a plus!

Truly a gem of a coffee shop the Omelet I had was amazing I ate the Bachelor. The pastries looked astounding was full from the other so did not get but will next time. A must place to stop again and again super nice folks.

A great place for a warm drink and conversation. Or an afternoon coffee and pastry. Whether its a quick stop in or a hangout and lounge time this is the place to do it. The food is phenomenal and always friendly service.

Nice place! I think their chai would be better if they used the liquid chai concentrate rather than powder. Pastries are wonderful.

Their baked goods are not your everyday commercial product. My personal favorite is the nut roll - excellent. The small dining are is charming and shows some antique ambiance. Since Tulipan is right on the town square, it is very convenient for a quick snack or beverage.

Tulipan is a wonderful place serving true Hungarian pastries made fresh daily by a sweet Hungarian woman. This place makes a killer latte or cappucino (my favorite in Wooster) and if you time it right in the mornings they will serve you a piece of strudel fresh from the oven. Highly recommend adding this place to your list if youre visiting Wooster.

The first time I went there about 6 months ago, I was really impressed with the service, the coffee selection, and of course the pastries. I liked it so much that I decided to go back,( I live nearly 3 hours away) I called 8 days in advance to place am order for three Dobosh Tortes. I was planning to give two of the Tortes as Christmas gifts. I suspected that something was amiss since the tortes were cold when I picked them up. When I got home, I tasted one of the tortes and the sponge cake portion of the torte was very dry. I suspect that the tortes were baked way ahead of time, then frozen, then allowed to thaw a day or so before I picked them up. I will still give the two other tortes as gifts, but I will have to apologize for the dryness of the cakes. These were not freshly baked Tortes.

This has become a regular eating spot for us. Coffee, rolled omelets, and pastries always amazing. The classical music in the background is always appreciated.

I find that this is a great place to come and just read relax and refuel for those days that are just lazy. The napoleon is to die for here and the downtown setting really makes for a wonderful experience.
