You won’t want to go to Starbucks or Panera after coming to this place, seriously. It’s that good. They offer better quality food for the same price (or less) than big-name competition. I’ve tried quite a few of their items before writing this review, from macarons to salads- they always hit it out of the ballpark.A neat feature they include at their café are their daily specialty drinks, of which you get a discount when you order it that day. Really helps you try unique combinations that you may not think of otherwise. It really helps customers like me take the guesswork out of what flavors would taste good together or not. (White chocolate and blackberry latte is my absolute favorite that I found through this).Overall, this place is a hidden gem in Wooster. Smoothest coffee in the area, excellent food offerings at a great price, and a clean and charming location. It really can’t be beat.

Nice coffee shop with breakfast and lunch options. I had the Breakfast Burrito. Good portion to get you going without weighing you down. Located in the lower level of a nicely renovated building, hence the name Undergrounds. I will be going back at some time during this stay.

My experience was alright, more good than bad. The coffee was good, and the wrap (the one with chicken and bleu cheese) was serviceable. It was a good place to work with strong WiFi, although a bit cold. The staff comes off as a little unfriendly, but they’re polite, at least. Would probably come back if I’m in town.

Stopped here today on my way to Mohican State Park to get some macarons and tea. Not the best iced vanilla chai I’ve ever had. But the apple pie macaron may be the best macaron I’ve ever had. It was SO good. Definitely a hidden gem for macarons there in Wooster.

I had a banana nut muffin and the peaches cream smoothie. Really was good. We are camping and they had a place for use to charge our phones. My husband had the scone and sad it was good.

Absolutely love this Coffee Shop. Yesterday I had the Public Square salad and it was phenomenal! This is definitely a forgotten place when it comes to lunch because they have great sandwiches and salads. Also I highly recommend all their bakery items. Im cheap sometimes and I like to try stuff so if your lucky they usually have day old muffins or breads for only a dollar which are SOOOO Worth it! Oh and they have great coffee too with daily specials you should try!

Service was good, food is good. I wasn’t a fan of the mocha, which tasted more like chocolate milk. The wrap I got was good but a little thin on actual meat. Mostly just lettuce. And veggies. They also don’t have straws so bring your own if you don’t like the sippy cup lids. Overall not a bad experience, but I’m not sure how often I’ll go again.

Ive had the chance to try Undergrounds a few times now. Susie is typically working, shes the co-owner, and really seems to love her job. She is very sweet and willing to explain if you have questions. I have tried the cookies, muffins, and brownies. My brownie was INCREDIBLE. A lot of their foods are vegan, so that makes this place really available to anyone in search of a nice cup of coffee with a snack craving. They offer light lunches as well which is nice with gluten free options, if needed. My favorite part of this place is their off the beaten path flavor options. They offer lavender and rose and are always offering new specials to take advantage of these new flavors. I really like this place and hope it finds a home here in Wooster.

A great place to take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or drink of choice. Excellent range of choices if you are hungry from pastries to salads and sandwiches. Friendly helpful staff who answer questions and assist in explaining their types of drinks. Highly recommend

Undergrounds cafe is a great place for any mood! They have teas, coffee, breakfast and lunch menu items, and its all fantastic! My favorite sandwich is the Holden Hall, and today I tried the blackberry lemonade and mango tea, both of which were delicious!

I’ve never eaten food here (it looks delicious though) but have come here to work or meet up with a friend multiple times. Coffee is great, baristas are very friendly, and it’s a nice low key atmosphere.

Stumbled across this place while working remotely downtown. If you’re looking for a place to work remotely. Look no further! WiFi is good. Coffee is good and you can have breakfast and lunch all in one spot. Good music at just the right volume also. Not too loud for working. Good atmosphere. Will be back.The chocolate muffin was dynamite.

Great atmosphere. Service was excellent and their BlackBerry cinnamon muffins were so good! Parking is hit or miss (side of the street spaces closest available one was a block away) but thats not their fault.

Amazing coffee, and the staff is amazing! I try to get here at least once a week when Im not travelling for work. By far the best coffee Ive had in town so far.

This place is wonderful. I was waiting to post a review until I got a chance to come in a second time to try them out and today I did. The coffee is reasonably priced, better than Surehouse is, and actually tastes good. They have an abundance of varieties of flavors to try and a decent selection of baked goods and sandwiches. I would definitely recommend their scones, made fresh every day mind you! And I really liked the toasted marshmallow mocha, iced of course. Also they have eco friendly kids with mouths for their iced drinks, so no need for a straw!
