I used this company to move my things out of a storage unit in Yakima to my new apartment in Utah. Ive been travelling for work and no longer lived in WA, but hadnt been able to get my stuff from the storage unit. Since I was already living in Utah, I had to drive 11 hours to get to my storage unit to meet for an estimate, and just assumed Id have to drive back again eventually for the actual move of my stuff. However, Curtis was nice enough to figure out a way for my stuff to be moved out the next day so that I wouldnt have to make a second trip. He also spent a lot of time going over my options and the pricing, so it was very clear. The very friendly movers (sorry, forgot their names) came the next day and emptied out my 10x15 storage unit in about two hours. My stuff arrived a few weeks later, earlier than expected. The movers, John and Brian, were super friendly and professional, and were very careful with my things. They had all my stuff moved into my apartment in a little over two hours. I originally didnt even consider using a moving company, and thought my brother and I could eventually get it all, but Im so glad I didnt even attempt that (especially in the winter time). Bernd moving systems made the process so easy and it was such a relief for me to finally get all my stuff out of there. I also appreciated the phone calls for updates on when my stuff would arrive.I didnt use their packing services since my stuff was already in boxes, but my mom used this company a few months ago for her move from her apartment in Selah WA to where she is now in Florida. I was there with her when the packer arrive (Tina) and I was impressed with how efficient and organized she was in getting everything packed up and labelled. The movers came the next day and loaded it all into the truck within a few hours. She was very impressed and it was her recommendation that led me to using this company.

I am so overly impressed with Bernd. After having a nightmare with another company backing out last minute on our move. Bernd swept in like Prince Charming and last minute saved the day. They were punctual, fast & friendly. Didn’t break, scratch, or dent a single thing or wall. They cleaned up after themselves well. Very efficient with a fast move. Fun friendly staff that loved to joke. Worked fast, and really was affordable. I will forever use Bernd with any moves in the future. Thank you so much for the amazing service.

Bernd Moving Systems did an excellent job for us. The staff at both ends of our long-haul move was a pleasure to work with. They were cheerful, hardworking and respectful of our needs. Being given a firm quote, upon review of our possessions which were in multiple mini storage units, greatly reduced our anxiety levels to start. Then, watching the obviously well-experienced driver and crew load our things with great care and expertise took care of any residual concerns about using a moving company (a first for us as wed always done our own moving). Finally, the same driver with a different crew showed the same care with unloading and placing our things where we wanted them. And although our load turned out to weigh more than originally estimated, they stood by their quote and we were not charged more. That speaks to the integrity of the owners and management of this company. I highly recommend their services and would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

Excellent and professional service! I only used their Packing Services, but it was a pleasure to work with the entire Bernd team. Curtis was friendly,and professional and Tina did a fantastic job packing up my home. She had great attention to detail and made sure to leave some essentials out and available for clean-up and living between the pack-up and the actual move date. Cant recommend them highly enough!

We had a very good multi state move. Packing, pickup and delivery were all as projected and on time. The crews at both ends and driver were respectful and a pleasure to work with. I had several estimates, that were all very close. We decided to go with Curtis because he spent quite a bit of time reviewing our items and giving us a detailed quote. After the quote we dealt mostly with Annette - who was very responsive to our questions, scheduling, etc. Also, we had used Bernd on local moves, which also went well. We highly recommend Bernd.

Wow. Curtis, Andy and Brian made our 334 mile move much easier. We had heavy, awkward furniture and farm equipment. Best move weve ever had. The packing, loading and unloading crews were all professional, courteous, capable and, most of all, caring and careful with our household goods. Every concern we had was addressed promptly and resolved to our satisfaction. The bid was competitive, and we even received a small refund once the move was completed. Cant say enough abound Bernd Moving Systems!

Bernd Moving helped me move from Yakima to a small town in the middle of nowhere. Curtis was an awesome person to work with. He worked tirelessly to find a place for my crates to be stored for several months while my housing was delayed. He was flexible and accommodating when my plans changed. He was even able to find movers to drive 100 miles from their storage unit to deliver my household goods. I also asked for my Tempur-pedic mattress to be transported on its side, which is not recommended and can seriously damage the mattress. I signed a waiver of release specifically for this, but Curtis and his crew packed that crate so well (like Tetris), that is arrived in perfect condition! Also, nothing was broken or damaged, unlike other moves. Usually something is broken or damaged. Bernd Moving company are the best movers I have moved with. I wish they were here in California!

We obtained 3 estimates for our move to Oregon- all were close so we went with our gut feeling- Curtis Bernd. Were glad we did and definitely recommend Bernd Moving Systems. In addition to having all the good qualities one looks for, Curtis and Alanna Bernd were a pleasure to work with and ensured a very smooth on-time move.

I hired some guys from this Agent, but the owner was so desperate to sell me his truck for doing a shuttle. The job was not even United but he was interrupting the guys like if it was his job. I strongly suggest you go with a more professional company. This owner is strap for cash and would do anything to get money, trying to embezzle a poor over the road driver. One of the guys was his first day and another was his 3rd week. I regret calling this agent. Never again..

We had a very good scheduling and packing experience with Bernd Moving Systems. The planning was excellent, and Berndt was able to accommodate our specific timing needs. The packers did a fantastic job. John was very good, and we we were especially impressed with Tina who packed the fragile houseware, stemware, and china. Everything was very well packed, and we had no breakage of fragile items during transport. Very impressive. Curtis, who did the estimating and coordinating, was good to work with and planned everything perfectly. The reason for the four star rating (not five) was that the weight estimate was more than two thousand pounds over the actual weight, which increased our cost. We would have liked a more accurate estimate from an experienced professional, but overall, we were very satisfied with the services provided by Berndt.

What great people. My original move plan ( with another company) completely turned upside down and these folks went to all lengths to help me straighten it out. I cant say enough about them.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for better movers! They know what they’re doing when it comes to packing ALL your belongings into the moving truck. I was afraid all my belongings were not going to fit. However, movers knew how to move and pack every single item and they communicated well with each other. In the end I think I was just looking for more stuff to put into my UHaul from all the room I had left over!! They have a great team dynamic and plan everything out. AJ, Sabin, and Jessie worked really hard the entire time they were there. I was truly impressed and I highly recommend this company!!

Overall excellent experience. Overestimated the weight by 10%, perhaps that is industry standard. Very pleasant on both ends of the move. Packed very well. Only glitch was they were an hour late.
