Havent rented a truck from U-Haul for quite a few years, but recently decided to forgo the propane exchange racket and get a refill on a totally empty 20# propane canister. Refill service was very fast, price was much more competitive than the exchange tanks and the employee was able to accept my card outside at the refill station for payment. A very positive propane refill experience. At least as fast and easy as an exchange, but much lower cost.

Poor customer service, got charge two days when it was back before 24 hours, hungry on $ will never rent from this lot home the lady that help me get lots of blessing ...

I dont think I have ever dealt with so many confused employees. I have talked to 4 different people just to try and get my hitch installed and everyone keeps telling me different information. What a joke.

1 star is even more then I would recommend. I was told on the phone when I reserved the trailer that I have 24hrs to return the trailer. When I show up at 5pm I am told it has to be back at 9am... Maybe a group meeting to get everyone on the same page might help!

This guys have no proper way of treating people. We parked on a spot we didnt know we couldnt park at, this guy with a beard comes yelling at us we cant park there, not in a nice way at all. If you you work there, how do you know if a customer doesnt know the rules why not treat ppl nicely and give them the benefit of the doubt?

I dont write reviews unless a particular location leaves an impression be it good or bad and lets just say this UHaul happens to rate the latter. So the first visit I had at this location the sales rep/min wage employee was so concerned with insignificant details on my application for a room I just ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere. The second time I actually got through the application and was trying to figure out how to get into my shed, theres an emergency call button on the wall and I was so beat from lugging my belongings there I tried to contact someone on it for help, after a good 15min and no luck I gave up and drove th the front office which was dead but I got instructions on how to enter my shed. This same thing happened again twice on just that one visit. The second time I desperately needed to use the restroom couldnt get an answer and the third time was because although I had rented a shed the fire alarm kept going off every time I touched the shed door. Since nobody responds to the emergency button I finished up being careful not to touch the walls or the door. Oh yeah although the fire alarm went off a handful of times some longer than other nobody once came to check why it was going off or answer the emergency button intercom I kept pushing for another 15min after it went off the first few times. I gave two stars rather than one because I got a free lock with my rental which was new and they had better monthly rates on units.

Ive been to this U-Haul locations several times, and Ive been pleased with the experience every time. Having just recently stored some things here as well worked out great. Got the first month free and ended up storing for 2 more. Great value!

Worst customer service experience ever. My dad rented a trailer to move my stuff and needed to drive several hours to my new place. U-haul told him he could return it the following day and then they apparently made a mistake and informed him he had to return it by 5pm the same day he got it. Naturally, my dad tried to negotiate this with them and voiced his disappointment, and the lady then threatened to not even rent him out a trailer!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They dont offer 24 hour access to your storage unit UNLESS you have a business license.

This place is ridiculous, they only ever have on staff member working. We ordered boxes online for an in store pickup and still had to wait 40min just to pick them up.

Stopped in to get propane. Took forever to get someone to come out. And the front desk lady came out and yelled at me when I hit the bell a second time. There are at least 5 employees here but all are ignoring the customers in the lobby except for 1. The people in the front are renting a truck and a storage unit, which understandably takes a while to get through but no one else would help the customers in line. The lady in front of me waited 20 minutes only to be told she had to go back outside and wait for the lot attendant to help her. No one is courteous. The customer service isnt below par, its non existent. I do not recommend and will not go back.

Was charged twice for the same day used two different prices too. and when i called them repeatedly and everytime some one answered they acted like they couldnt hear then hanged up. so i called three times and the same thing. I had to call someone in my contact to make sure it wasnt my phone.I would nerver use there service again.

Excellent customer service!Jarmyn and Miguel both took care of me. I purchased a Yakima Ridgeback 2 bike rack from this location, as it was the least expensive I could find anywhere including the internet. Jarmyn sold it to me, and days later helped me to properly install it to my hitch.Initially, I hadnt properly fit the rack into the hitch and was confused as to how to tighten within the hitch. Miguel got my service started, and Jarmyn took over with his experience with this hitch. After pinpointing my issue, he took apart the knob, fixed the issue, and reconstructed the knob. Then, he assured the rack was 100% secure on my hitch before I drove away.I am appreciative of the time, knowledge, and kindness showed by him. I am happy with my purchase from the price point, and service it took to assure I used it properly. Thankyou!

Truck was in good working order and clean. The line for pickup was long and they had a tough time coordinating our request to remove the dolly from our order which we didnt need. Had to work with a manager.

Look at the ENTIRE brochure-like paperwork. LIFT and look under the attached middle page with truck info. Thats how I found there was a hole on the top of the truck, where melted ice and snow leaked in. It was fine, as I had a few things. I was getting rid of their crappiest truck and dropping it off two states away. I did not get any trouble. I personally documented and took photos of the before and after drive.

I was in my R.V. and parked way out waiting for my other party so we could caravan together when a guy pulls ip in a little mule and tells me I cant be parked there. I told him that I was just waiting a few minutes until my other party got there and he said it was private property and for customers only. He told me I needed to pull out to the street. So Ill never be a customer of U-Haul again. Horrible customer service. It was an olf Kmart so there was plenty of room and nobody there. I would never do that and make my company look bad.

The absolute worst customer service! Rude employees, long line and charged for add-ons that I declined. Moving truck itself performed as needed...maybe just choose a better location to save time and money.

Well I must say Will Never use this place! Had reservation last week only for husband to go pick up & say there wasnt a truck available! Went in following Monday to try again & reserve a truck for Friday and got a call on THURSDAY to be told there was none in town & would have to drive an hour opposite direction of the place we were needing to drive 3 hours for the move!! Seriously unprofessional in my opinion! Not making a move any less stressful! And nothing like panic at last minute 2 weeks in a row! Thanks to Penske got a truck last minute cheaper & a pick up in town!!!

Its the only U-Haul in town, but the service sucks. We asked for the military discount and the guy told us he could only apply it after we brought the rental back. When we bright it back, he said he could only at it at the beginning. When will we reminded him of what he said when we picked it up, he laughed and said, yeah well I just dont know how to do it. I told him I wanted to talk to his manager, but he just laughed again and said the manager is never there.

They lost the trailer in their own lot, that which I turned in and had an in depth conversation with the agents about safety concerns regarding the equipment we rented. They called with collection tactics, claimed we had not returned the trailer. When I called to find out what was going on, they apparently found the missing trailer but didnt bother to call or apologize. A manager was also supposed to call and follow up with me regarding the problems and never did.

Very helpful yard staff, but very tight in the parking lot, be careful. Counter staff was not nearly as polite but finally did get up and assist.

Horrible. Employees always on breaks. Bathroom is always dirty. Never coffee but lil table set up looks nice. Roaches in storage asked when was last time sprayed employee stated he doesnt know. Employees always parking in spots for customers. Always an obstacle to get in your unit. Always trucks nd cars in the way. I pray I dont hit anything bc so much everywhere.

I rented a truck for an in-town move. I went a total of 9.5 miles. I used about a 16th to an 8th of a tank of gas. When I left the lot, I realized the gas guage did not match my paperwork. I documented this with a timestamped photo on my phone & called the office to report the incorrectly documented gas level. That was problem one. Problem two occurred when I returned the truck the next day. I didnt refuel on my own so they charged me $4.25 per gallon (already a ridiculous price) FOR 10 GALLONS for at total refueling charge of $42.50... TO GO NOT QUITE 10 MILES??? I think not! My actual rental fee was only $29.99. Hmm...When I was finally able to speak with the appropriate manager, I was refunded most of the fee but it took some doing. I still recommend this rental location, however, use caution when signing your agreement. Watch your rental invoice & return receipt as to not be overcharged.

Today i called and scheduled to have my trailer brakes installed. when i arrived they went on to tell me how that would take 6 hours when i was told on the phone that it would only take an hour and a half. Then they go on to tell me that they dont even have the staffing to install them and wouldnt reschedule me for another day.

No communication with each other. So lots of confusion.

Called ahead to rent a truck. I was specific that I needed to hook up a 7 blade style trailer plug to it. They assured me they had what I needed so I scheduled everything for the following day. When I came to pick up the truck, I waited for 30 minutes to speak with someone about the trailer hookup and thats when they told me they cant hook it up because it requires modification to the truck and they arent allowed to do that. I drove an hour to get here and they lied to me.

Got a hitch installed on our RAV4. There was a bit of confusion between local merchant and their corporate call center, but services were good after communication kink got ironed out.

Slow mo. almost 3hrs to get a car trailer. hourly for sure.

Good experience on using equipment however they usually have one clerk at a time and the line gets long Wich you would have to wait longer to book a rental.
