The representative from the dealer indicated the car I wanted was still available. I made an appointment to test drive and purchase the car between 10:30am - 11am, as I was driving in from Allentown, PA (2 hours) and this was the earliest I could come. When I was 10 minutes out, a representative called me to say the car was sold. I took my day off of work, drove 160 miles round trip, and wasted 3 hours of my time. Very sour taste in my mouth with the dealership on how they treat buyers. If youre in a similar situation, consider doing some sort of deposit if theyll allow it.

I just moved to York from Los Angeles and I wanted a new BMW. I was a bit weary of stopping into the York location, as I thought it would be a high pressure, stressful experience. My experience was just the opposite. Decoda met me at the door and showed me around. He showed me a couple cars that met my budget and was very knowledgeable. I didn’t buy on my first trip to dealership. It took me two more weeks of taking care of things and looking at other cars for me to make my decision. Decoda, and the Sales Manager, Shaun were so incredibly helpful, patient, and left none of my questions unanswered. I felt like I was buying a car from a friend or a family member rather than a salesman. My BMW purchase at Apple BMW York was honestly the best car buying experience that I’ve ever had. I just moved to Harrisburg from Kansas City and had to get my car service done as the air conditioner was not working. Even though Yorke is about 40 minutes away from my location but it was worth for me to go to Apple BMW. People at this BMW are friendly with excellent customer service. My first experience with Apple BMW of York, PA was when we were driving through York and my 2014 BMW X3 got a flat. We were going to try to make it home to Elizabethtown when we saw we were driving past Apple so we pulled into their lot. They had the tire we needed in stock and replaced it while we waited. Everyone was so professional, kind and really great to work with. When I needed to replace my vehicle which had been totaled in an accident, we immediately thought of Apple. We were able to find a vehicle that I liked and the day after my accident, I was driving it home. We found the certified pre-owned 2016 X5 we wanted on line at Apple. We had a trade in, and were ready for the usual adversarial car buying experience.We couldn’t have been more wrong.Michael met us at the door, and invited us in as though he was expecting us, and letting us explain what we wanted over some (really good!) coffee. Once we’d identified the vehicle we were interested in, he went to get it promptly and walked us through it, helping us understand that the vehicle was a good choice for us without asking about a trade in or anything financial. He was also very keen to show us the inspection results and the car fax. The car was immaculate and a clear, clean record. The price was well under blue book and they offered top dollar for our trade in. We were treated like we were visiting friends, not buying a car.Best car buying experience ever. Everyone was super, and we cannot recommend Michael as a representative more highly.

Worst dealer experience in 11 years of owning a BMW and shopping for one.1. Vehicle for sale had a dirty exterior2. Vehicle interior had a foul wet dog smell3. Vehcile interior had dog hairs and obviously not cleaned4. Vehicle for sale had a steering wheel pull...probably alignment issue.5. Online sales staff would not identify themselves when communicating via Facebook messenger.The experience was so bad, we ended up going with a Subaru that same weekend.Overall, poor management and service!Not the quality one would expect from the brand BMW.

Top notch service, i had an issue with my 3 series, and when i checked online, it was a recall!!! i checked with Sun motors in Mechanicsburg, they refuse to honor that right away even though i showed them the recall on the BMW of north America website.I called Apple BMW of York and i spoke to Susan, she was exceptional!!! She asked me to bring the car and within a week they got the job done!! its a $8000 job, free of charge! i cannot thank these guys enough and a special thank to Sue, you guys are amazing.

Went there this past week expecting professional sales service. They were pleasant and friendly. Having said that, they offered an extremely low (insulting) trade in offer and lied right to my face regarding numerous things, including their vehicle and the market value for my vehicle. Also, did not disclose well known and documented engine problems until I brought it up. Please be educated before you enter this dealership. Please don’t be a victim to these antiqued sales tactics. This is why people hate going to dealerships. Luckily, I was knowledgeable and saved a lot of money and possibly a lot more down the road as well.

Mani is the best. This dealership has excellent customer service, even long after the transaction is complete. They also stand behind there cars. I think they go above and beyond there requirement as a dealership, and this is why I would definitely do business with them again...and recommend others as well. Excellent experience working out a deal on a new 3 series. I turned in another 3 series on lease, and Jimmy and Joe made it as easy as it possibly could have been. Apple bmw wasnt originally on my radar, but when I came across a certain car, i had to see for myself so i made the trip from Reading to York. I couldnt have been happier and more pleased with the sales team, especially Andy who was patient and easy to work with and made my first bmw purchase one I wont soon forget. I have had the car for about 6 months and had the pleasure of dealing with the service department just recently and that was also a good experience. Ended up going with a four star rating. The staff seemingly made the mistake of getting rid of their top guy in the building. Jim Munsey, the best bmw genius and only one Id ever need to deal with is no longer in that role and I believe that to be a shame. Jim was the guy that really made me feel comfortable buying a bmw and he was so helpful to me throughout the process. He also answered my calls off the clock and is still always available if I have questions or concerns and keeps an honest non-bias approach when I need it. I hope apple bmw fills his role with someone as capable and if not, it would truly be a mistake. Hats off to the crew otherwise.

Was professional at first, however the sales manager Jim? who test drove my vehicle stomped on the gas pedal, very quickly braked, and took off out of sight. I am now having issues with my transmission not shifting properly when there were no issues prior with it shifting.When I spoke with the general manager Joe about my issue they offered to take a look at it to trade in on a new vehicle. When I stated that is not what I wanted, and I wanted my current vehicle fixed I was told he cannot do that, and there isn’t proof of anything, and was very rude about the entire situation.Would NEVER recommend Apple bmw for anything!

My experience is limited to the Services Dept. Courteous and accommodating staff, would recommend you request to view (on your vehicle) each of the services they recommend prior to approving the work be completed. My last visit detailed well over $1000 dollars in repairs, when I truly need 2 parts from Walmart totaling less than $25. I understand that the Service Dept keeps the lights on at a dealership, but this case seems quite extreme. Do not be afraid to refuse a repair from this Service Dept.

I took the bus from Washington, DC to look at a car I saw online. My salesman Jimmy Kompotiatis came to pick me up from the bus station which made it so convenient. His customer service was excellent. He addressed all my questions and concerns. Jimmy and the Finance Manager. Gerald Dori made everything so quick and easy once I ready to purchase the vehicle. They made my one and a half hour trip so worth it.

This is a tough one. I did get the used car I wanted for a fair enough price. Im in the customer service business so I feel that aspect of sales is absolutely paramount. Based on other reviews I am guessing they are better suited to sell a new car vs a used one. If indeed your heart is set on a vehicle on this lot, I do recommend you ask for Nate. He is newer to the sales department but he is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and enjoyable to deal with. I think maybe the hierarchy or pecking order thats in place here might not necessarily afford newer salesmen all the opportunities that they do the veteran salesmen. Unfortunately I did not get to work with Nate after he showed me the car and gained my trust etc. All in all this is probably one of the better car lots youll find in York, PA from a vehicle quality standpoint, however, from a customer service perspective, it has some some work to do before it can be in the same conversation as a Sun Motors, just 35 minutes away.

I purchased my 2013 BMW X3 from another dealer because Apple BMW did not have a car available in the time-frame I needed one. NOT buying from Apple was a big mistake, because it set me up for service at another, much larger and MUCH less competent dealership.Joe Lanzalotti was professional in every way, and I truly felt badly about not being able to buy from him. Both Derek and Kelly in service have been outstanding.I have since returned to Apple for service and when I re-up on my lease, will not make the same mistake - I will definitely buy from Apple BMW too!

I have been looking for a M car for a life time. But in recent months things have fallen into place and financially I have found a way to afford one. So then came the searching. I have experienced some number of dealerships. 2 very well known national dealerships selling accident damaged cars as clean undamaged cars. Even after I point out the clear damage they tell me I am wrong. I saw another car I liked in reno Nevada and this other national dealer wanted me to fork out $999 to ship it to local dealer. The hood had been repainted also clean car. I was ready to bite on it and fly to reno when I saw this one at Apple BMW. The high res pics showed none of the issues spotted at the other dealers and I was ok buying this one they worked out an extended warranty over emails and price was agreed. When I reviewed the pics I found a flaw on a arm rest and they promised me it would be fixed when I arrived 6 days later. I told them I was flying in to Dulles and needed to get a uber and I would be around 2:30. The day before they called they would send me a driver and pick me up and drive me to the dealership. Just jaw dropping. I got to the dealership expected to have to be ran stuck for hours. I arrived they gave me the keys and the person who picked me up took me for a drive. First heart warming thing was the bolster was replaced as promised. Car was super clean. New tires not some cheapo H rated continental tires but Michelin sport plus tires and fresh oil change. Simply stunning not a thing to complain about. :)The document signing took 10 mins + 20 mins talking to progressive trying to tell them what coverage I wanted and I was out in my ready to drive home. Just simply amazing and professional. I went through this buying process with my friend at another BMW dealership and it took my entire day. From 11am - 6pm Just simply amazing. Amazing staff and amazing experience.Thank you all for great buying experience and for the happy memory of the day I bought my M4 :)

Every time I have taken my car to Apple BMW for service, I have been treated very well. Rose and Kelly in the Service Dept. have always gotten me an appointment quickly or taken my car in immediately for emergencies. They have treated me like Im the most important customer they have and I didnt even purchase my former vehicle there. Therefore when I decided to trade my vehicle, I went first to Apple. They had a vehicle I liked, they worked with me to make a deal that was excellent and I didnt feel pressured at any point of the process. Melissa Kirkendall was my Client Adviser and although she was new to BMW, she knew everything about the vehicle and was able to answer every question I had. Chris Arabio sat down with me after the purchase details were arranged and thoroughly described various options for maintenance and protective packages but not pressuring me into anything I didnt want. There were no hidden extras. I only paid for what I wanted. Overall, this was the smoothest, least stressful car-buying experience I have ever had. I have dealt with two other BMW dealers in the past but neither could even come close to Apples professionalism and attention to detail! Thank you Melissa and Chris for a great buying experience.
