Much better to call & make appointment. They got right on my Ford F250 6.7 Ltr Diesel Super Duty pickup. In at 12 noon and out by 1:30 pm in time for my 2 pm Dr appointment. Great service with clean shop and got my tire rotation bonus through Firestone. I highly recommend this place!

Purchased tires, booked an appointment for installation and applied for a Tire Plus credit card all from home. I went to the physical store, they did my tires, the purchase via a new Tire Plus credit card went smooth. I was surprised out how streamlined and hiccup-free the system is. Excellent.

Do not get new tires from this place if you have rims/wheels that do not have basic steel wheels with hub caps! Do you have aftermarket rims? Don’t come here. Do you have nice rims from the dealership or factory? Don’t come here. They will gouge your rims down to bare metal & then tell you that it’s expected because they do not have “no-touch machines”.I purchased my rims & tires from Tirerack.com after not being able to find the wheels I wanted at any of the local shops on Loucks rd. I chose Tires Plus because they were a recommended installer on Tirerack.com, were one of the closest to me, & were the only shop with online scheduling of service. All of these factors made Tires Plus look like they were the best choice.My truck was completed 12/1 @ 6:30pm & I noticed the damage this morning 12/2/2020 around 8am & called Tires Plus immediately.Spoke to Craig. Let him know about the damage.Craigs response: “We’re not a performance shop, we don’t have the capabilities to mount tires on aftermarket rims because we don’t have a no-touch tire machine.”My response: “If you knew you didn’t have the capabilities to mount tires onto aftermarket rims without damaging them then why did you take on the job?”Craig: “I have a customer at the counter……” & put me on hold then disconnected me.Based on my experience working in tire shops when I was younger, the chips on the edge of each rim look like the pry bar snapped down & chipped the paint, not tire machine rubs. 3 of the 4 rims have large ¾” = 1” chips in the paint down to bare metal, about the width of a pry bar.Other than Craig, the staff at Tires Plus were great to deal with. During my 4 hours stay in the lobby I interacted with just about every employee in the shop & they were all pleasant to work with, seemed very knowledgeable, & did a very good job explaining the issue as it happened. Except for Craig, he was off on Tuesday.I was at Tires Plus for 4 hours for a simple wheel install because they could not get my TPS sensors to communicate with my truck. They ended up telling me that the tire sensors I bought from Tirerack.com were no good so I bought some directly from Tires Plus. After another 1.5 hours they told me that only 2 of the 4 sensors were working. I accepted the truck as is because I was tired of being there for 4 hours plus their incompetence was now showing.On my way home the tire sensors connected & turns out my front passenger tire was only inflated to 20lbs. So a brand new tire straight out of the tire shop was only inflated to 20lbs. Craig had nothing to say about this, apparently this is acceptable to him too.Do not give this place your business. Tires Plus – As a business owner myself, I highly suggest you terminate Craig. He should not be a manager & he should not be handling customer service.Tirerack.com is awesome, they’ll be handling replacements and dealing with Tires Plus corporate.

Got some good guys tell you straight what you need but also work with you getting through car troubles Frank & Craig always treat me good when I come in for service.

They definitely had the best deal on tires. The service was also quick and friendly. If you are shopping for tires this is the best place to go in York.

Had car in there for inspection said it needed a fuel pumpcar still not 5 days ago still not fixed or inspected. the new manager is a joke I called to see if car was ready said it was out being driven to turn everything over said they left with it 30 minutes before. waited hour and half and went down to pick up figured they would be back. Got there manager said he hadnt a chance to drive it yet. so they lied when they said guy had left with it 30 min ago. Left and came back 2 hours laterand they said they drove it but it didnt turn everything so they still couldntput a inspection sticker on. Suggested we take and drive it until next dayThese people are a joke. They need some people that know what they are doing.

I was able to get in quickly which is the reason for a 2nd star. I went in for state inspection and specifically said that my tail light was out. He said we will check it out. Well, the tail light, with a new bulb, is still out but they passed the inspection. Brake lights work. I now question the quality of the inspection. I tried calling to ask about it and they hang up. Perhaps I should contact the state.

Great prices! I They listed tires as in stock though, but they werent. That is the reason for the loss of a star...and the person who took my payment did not have a mask.This rating has been edited. I gave them back their star. They earned it! They made it right! Ill be back when I need more tires!

My first experience with this company was pretty good. I was able to get 2 new tires in the front on in about 40 minutes without any notice.My second experience. Called up to get a spring for inside my steering wheel. I was never called back when they said they would call back. - Strike 1My third experience. I personally called the counter to schedule a date to drop my vehicle off to get work done to it. Supposedly I wasnt in for a appointment today. They blamed the lack of communication on the new computer system. They also want to charge me a $29.95 Diagnostics fee. They better dock the fee off or thats the last time I go to Tires plus and right a article on all social media networks.

We took a company van to Tires Plus for a front end alignment. They diagnosed the van that it need tie rod ends. Proposed $673.00 in repairs. Iask if the tie rod ends were changed would that fix the problem and then have the front end alignment. He saidYes, and gave me a written diagnosis.I paid $23.00 for the diagnosis. Changed the tie rod ends myself. Returned the van to Tires Plus for alignment. He gives me another diagnosis with over &1,800.00 repairs needed. Same van!! In a week!I took it to Firestone. They diagnosis something totally different. I did the repairs and took it back and had the front end alignment. Everything is good now. A friend told me Tires Plus was under investigation by the States Attorney Office. I called them. Sure enough, hundreds of complaints!!

I had about the worst experience ever with this garage. A repair that should have taken a day ended up taking 3, because the tech took a day off in the middle and ordered a needed part on the slow boat from China. I found the part locally that could be gotten before the one he ordered, and the markup on what they were charging me was twice what I found it for brand new. I even called the tech on it and got a shrug and an oh well. I missed work, spent more, waited longer and was treated like crap for the privilege. DONT EVER GO HERE.UPDATE: After finally getting my car back, my acceleration is now on par with a geriatric snail, and I can barely reach highway speeds. I have no idea how installing a brand new clutch would do this, be it sabotage or ignorance, I will be making sure that this is corrected. Once again, NEVER EVER GO HERE.UPDATE: I found out the problem after some extensive troubleshooting. One of the ends of a vacuum hose had been unplugged. I plugged it back in and problem solved. They must not have even turned it on after they finished. There was an obvious check engine light, no power, no acceleration, braking assist was gone and the car sounded like it stalled whenever it was turned off. You would think any mechanic would recognize these signs, especially the check engine light.

Tire plus is a place to get tires remember that I ride in a temporary service van. And tire plus charged for repairs they caused in the electric system of a Chevy van. And this is a horrible experience van was to get a window repair. And someone manipulated the electric system of the van causing the alternator to go bad

Over price, poor customer service and some of there technicians are very disrespectful. Try giving them another chance today, they had a 3 hour wait, 4 empty spots and 2 customers waiting. 10 years ago, you go in for something simple the sales person would take care of it, like a flat tire or oil change....now they just look at you and say theres a 3 hour wait....dont offer you an appointment or ask you to come back or anything to keep a customer.....it is what it is

I didnt care for the fact that I went in to have two front tired installed, then see my good open. Their reason...checking battery. I didnt give them the ok to do that.

Expected to pay 300$. Somehow cost me 900$. But it needed done. Labor total was $550. Thats ridiculous. That comes out to 225$/ hr. If the labor could have been discounted because the extra amount of my bill I would give 5 stars. Slightly disappointed in that aspect.

Called a week prior to inquire about getting trailer tires mounted and was informed they pprovided that service and was even given a quote. Was told to schedule an appointment when I called today to schedule an appointment was told they dont offer that service. They only do cars and trucks. Which is strange and goes to show the lack of knowledge they have. The trailer tires are 15 inch wheels which is similar to vehicle tires. They dont even need to be balanced. Dont waste your time and just go to NTB just a mile down the road. Customer service is impeccable compared to this place.

Shady! I went to Tires plus for New tires. When I got there and my old tires were removed they told me I needed new struts, I told them I will let my dealer check out then associate or mgr said he would lower price if I get struts on spot once again I said I would let my dealer check into so associate told me he could not guarantee my warranty if I did not get struts. I got my new tires on and went to my dealer to see if I did need new struts. My dealer said my struts were Good and did not need replaced. Tiers Plus totally tried to rip me off. I will not go back again. I did drop back by to let them know that I did not need struts. Even in the pass in going there they always seem to want to tell u your car needs something more then what u bought it in for. Horrible ! All Beware!!!

I had a very negative experience with the manager. When making an appointment he was very rude and when I tried to explain my frustration he consistently cut me off. I have been a customer in that store for 20 plus years. His behavior was beyond unacceptable. I would like to speak to someone in the corporate office. This is not the kind of person you want running your business.

What a horrible experience at was waited an hour and a half to get my tires fixed left there and had to put air in one of my tires because it was not fixed. I asked if they checked both rear tires was told they did I watched them only check one tire horrible horrible horrible

Great service for tires, inspections, and basic service needs. Not for transmission or major car repairs.

Everytime I go there they take my money and lie about the reason behind it. They lied to me and said my engine sensors needed replaced when it turns out it was just a wiring problem in my new head unit. But what they did today takes the cake. After telling them multiple times that I needed new front tires they went ahead and replaced all 4. Two of the tires were brand new. Also they looked at my breaks and when they did they messed up something now when I step on the break it sounds like Im running over cats. Oh and to top it all off they put down my drivers side window so the technician if you can even call him that could talk to another employee. The thing is my drivers side window does not work so when he tried to put it back up it only came halfway. Now youd think they would be concerned about this since it was raining but after a few attempts to pull it back up he looked at me and said looks like thats all we can do and left me out in the rain with a window that only comes up halfway.
