I came into the dealership earlier on in the week to look at buying a new vehicle for myself. My sales representative was Mike. I have a vase history of dealing with different sales people through many departments. I was very pleased with the way he handled himself. It felt as though I wasn’t being dragged into a car just for them to make a quick buck, but instead I was received with all the information I was looking for and treated with utmost respect. Just that let alone is more then most dealerships I have been to can say. In the end I am very happy to have bought my vehicle through this dealership and will be coming back again to look through there variety of cars for when my youngest starts to drive. My son left a review that just isnt accurate. I want to set the record straight. We both bought cars here on the same day. When you buy a 17 year old car, you have 17 year old parts. Small things have needed attention, but the big things are all sound. We will get many more years out of this car and the one I bought for myself. The registration was handled correctly also. When I am looking for a car in the future, this is the first place I will shop.

Went to look at a jeep and was told there are no issues as the mechanics just look it over and from the jump it had a starting issue turning over. Im no pro mechanic but do most of my own work and Id say get new mechanics or at least know your vehicles issues and fix them before telling someone there are none.

My wife and I purchased a minivan from this location and it was the best experience both of us have ever had! The owners are very personable and fair in their price of the vehicle. Found a truck on there website. Called to make sure it was there as it was a 2 hour ride. Mike called back and said yes, we made the trip. Entire staff was friendly. Truck was just as description said it was. The tailgate would not open, Mike said they would have it fixed by the time I was to pick up. Well due to circumstances beyond his control that did not happen. Mike said just take it to you mechanic and I will pay over the phone. Mike did EVERYTHING he promised. I recently bought a 2004 Subaru Forrester from here. I am a rural mail carrier and unexpectedly needed a replacement work vehicle right away. These guys were wonderful! I walked in there VERY stressed out with my 3 and 9 year old boys who did NOT want to be there on a Saturday morning. Seriously on the verge of a mental breakdown. They handed me the keys to the car I was interested in and let me drive it with the kids as long as I needed, then suggested some other less expensive vehicles that would also be good for mail delivery. Absolutely no pressure. I ended up with my Subaru. 2 days later the check engine light came. Not only did they take it in to the shop the next day to have it fixed, they drove it 20 minutes to my house once it was done so that I wouldnt have to make the drive to pick it up after work. Amazing. They have also followed up with me to see how it is running. I WILL be using them again Im sure and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Customer service like this is extremely rare and more appreciated than I can even express.

Recently purchased a 2008 Jeep Commander sport from these guys. The dealers were very nice, funny and helpful to me finding a new car that is just what i needed. The car was buy as is, one tire had an issue with air but the dealer stated and signed they will take care of replacing the tire for me if it continues to have issues. Had nothing but a great experience with these guys and the process was very fast and easy. Would recommend checking out their inventory and would probably go back if ever needed.

Mike was wonderful! I called and asked if i could test drive a vehicle and take it an hour down the road and back to have my mechanic look at it, his response, “absolutely, i have nothing to hide.” He then held the car for 5 days with no down payment until i got approved for my loan. Can’t say anything other then, “don’t go anywhere else!” These guys are great!!!

Just purchased a 2006 bmw 330xi 6 speed from them. Ran good the first day and then the clutch started chattering. After a week the water pump went out while going down the highway. And now theres a clunking coming from the front suspension

Car they sold me had a busted head gasket. They must have cleaned up coolant. Also there is no way this car should have passed inspection. Tires have low tread and the wiper I found out was torn. Shady company.

The dealers sold me a lemon; every month I’ve had to fix something on the car. Another time when I was pulled over, I realized they never changed the registration of owner of the car to me.

They were very professional, I appreciated that the salesperson not pressuring us to buy. In fact he gave us as much time as we wanted to look over the vehicle without looking over our shoulder, but was very helpful when we had questions. We purchased a 2005 Chevy Silverado, at good price. They do not hide anything, no frame painting to hide any issue of the under carriage, which I really appreciate after looking at many other places. The purchase process was very efficient and we were out of the dealership in no time.

We bought a truck recently from them. We requested that a repair be made before we completed the purchase, which they did. After having the truck for 4 days, that repair gave out and we had to have it towed and repaired again. After letting them know about the issue, they reimbursed us for the towing and repair. They were very friendly and easy to work with during the entire purchase and repair process.

They went through all the paperwork with me and even showed me the invoice for the maintenance they had done on the vehicle I pruchased. They even gave me the name of the shop they took it to as it specializes in subarus like the forester that I bought from them. Recently bought an 05 F-150 from I-Deal Cars in York. I was able to negotiate over the phone prior to going into the dealership or seeing the truck. Not many dealers will do this. I appreciated that! I purchased a vehicle from Ideal Cars in York, PA on May 18, 2020, and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. To start, my Fiancé and I dealt with Stefan who was not only professional, but also very understanding and accommodating. With our situation, my Aunt & Uncle wanted to purchase us a vehicle, and ultimately they would be paying for it. They looked for dealerships close to our house with good reviews/decent inventory, and found Ideal Cars. My Uncle started the initial process of finding Ideal Cars online, and getting in touch with Stefan to set up a day and time for us to look at the vehicle/test drive it etc. Mind you, my Aunt & Uncle live about 2 hours away and this is during the COVID-19 Pandemic. My Uncle found a car that he thought was a perfect fit for my Family, and emailed Ideal Cars on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Stefan quickly returned his email the next day(Monday, May 11, 2020), and set up for my Fiancé and I to meet with him on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. We couldnt believe how great of shape the car was in when we got there, and we knew right away that it would be the perfect Family car for us. It looked EXACTLY like the pictures online and was in great condition! Not only did it look nice-- it drove great, and we decided then and there that this was definitely the car for us and our 3 small kids. We talked things over with Stefan and told him that we definitely wanted the car. Since he spoke with my Uncle originally, he knew that he would have to wait for a check in the mail from my Aunt & Uncle to finalize the purchase. Stefan told us if we wanted that car then it was our car, and he would hold it for us until the check arrived in the mail. I can tell you right now that NO OTHER car dealership would EVER hold a vehicle for you without a down payment, but Stefan did just that and took our word and my Uncles word. My family mailed out the check for the vehicle that day, and we finally received it in the mail on Monday, May 18, 2020. As soon as we received the check, we contacted Stefan and told him that we were on our way. The process of finalizing the purchase of the vehicle was so quick and easy, that I still cannot believe that everything is over and done with! Not only do they sell cars, they also notarize and give you your permanent tags/register your vehicle with PennDOT so that everything is done when you leave their place. Stefan also told us if anything happens to the vehicle within a month or so to contact him and they would fix whatever issue we were having. This was by far the easiest and greatest time that Ive ever had while purchasing a car. Not only do we love our new vehicle.. our kids love it and my Family and I are super grateful and appreciative for Stefan understanding our situation and doing what he did for us! If we need another vehicle in the future, we will definitely be contacting Stefan at Ideal Cars! I tried to give this guy Mike a chance but We bought our vw cc sport from him...He saw our newborn baby being we were there with her in his office for hours talking about how she has a heart condition and we really needed a reliable car We had a 2004 trailblazer so we really needed something we could trust He promised that his mechanic inspected this car through and through! Lie Within the first week our tire blew out because the had the wheels switched so I wouldnt see the dryrot!! This costed $775 they promised to reimburse us but the reimbursement was $200 Right after that happened it was the double clutch system in the transmission which it ran a good $1300 and now the air compression system has to be replaced This is within 30days or so!! Mike went on about how much he trusts his cars This is all before the temporary registration expired Originally the trunk wouldnt open and the key battery died so he was supposed to give us $200 off but he raised the price 1st it was 5,990 and we paid $6,250 so idk how he gave us anything off for the trunk and we paid cash to make his job easier going from one atm to another because our bank is in NY I took down the last review because he promised to help us fix everything but nothing has been done and now the cars in the shop for the 3rd time since we bought it

WORST possible place you could EVER go to purchase a vehicle. EVERY car there is falling apart and overpriced. 2007 Passat was purchased there last year (October 21st 2019) . Within 1-2 months it needed well over $6000 in repairs to replace entire timing system(AT DEALERSHIP). KBB on the car is $5k. Wouldn’t budge from their $6500 asking price... EDIT JUNE 6th 2020***** car has been at DEALERSHIP for 4 months and now needs another $8000 in repairs to REPLACE the transmission...called I deal cars as per the response I received FROM THIS REVIEW, not willing to help AT ALL!!!!! Now within 6 months of ownership the car needs $14,000 in repairs....all paperwork and records in hand. During a pandemic you would think the customers would be taken care of but no, absolutely zero help or consideration from I DEAL CARS.....

I was here this afternoon for the 05 Ford F-150 they had for sale. Checked it out for a second time. I dont know his name, maybe Sefik, something like that.....anyway, greeted me & my father nicely & offered to let us take it for a spin. Was honest about the truck, didnt hide anything, very forthcoming. The truck drove, handled & sounded well while running. I would like to share my experience with this dealership. I purchased two vehicles in three days with CASH - as in I paid right around 16,000.00 in total at their dealership in about 72 hours. I did this because just a few months before this our family home had burnt down and my son and myself no longer lived within a few blocks walking distance from any bus stops. I usually used Uber but where we moved it would have been incredibly expensive. When I purchased my vehicles I was assured that ALL of their cars had been rigorously inspected for ALL issues safety and otherwise. They tell you that they check ALL cars for issues that would be listed on ANY Carfax and that these are fixed before the car is purchased. Please keep in mind that I did NOT take out ANY loans for my purchases soooo just not paying for a car and having it repossessed isnt an option. I know quite a few people that have done this with cars if major problems arise. Unfortunately they DO NOT do ANY kind of checks for RECALLS that ARE listed on a Carfax report. The jeep I purchased runs just fine for now but the car that I purchased for my son does not. The car that I purchased for my son has MANY MANY serious safety related recall issues that we unfortunately found out about in a very serious way. The car has a defect that it will lock when you are driving it. As in driving it down the HIGHWAY!!! And there is NO warning!! Thankfully my son and his friends were driving in Dallastown when his car locked at 25-30 miles per a hour and NOT 65!!!! The car also has DEFECTIVE airbags!!! Soooo lets say that my son and his friends were driving down the HIGHWAY at 65 MPH and the engine locked - not shut down but locked and the airbags are not working properly they could all have been SERIOUSLY INJURED if not killed because this dealership DOES NOT INSPECT cars as it should for safety related issues. They could have been killed and so could a whole bunch of other people!! They knowingly sold me a car with serious safety issues. They can NOT deny it because its right on the Carfax. Im not a mechanic so I dont understand these things but they sure do. Granted the repairs will be covered by the recall but that DOES NOT alleviate them from the responsibility of selling me a used car with numerous serious safety issues. I will NEVER do business with them again and I WILL NEVER recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from them. If you do buy a car from them MAKE sure that you make them go over the Carfax report with you and show you everything that has been fixed because I know for a fact that they are not fixing any of the vehicles before they are selling them. Or what they will tell you is that their vehicles are ALL inspected by an independent mechanic. Im not sure what mechanic they are using but I would be checking a vehicle that would be sold shortly for ANY and ALL possible safety issues. The cars arent looked at by anyone - well thats what I think. Or they are looked at by THEM and just brought up to par for inspection. I dont think that they do a whole lot more and just slap a recently inspected sticker on it. Sadly I was looking to spend about 20,000.00 this summer on a campervan - I know that I wont be purchasing it from this dealership. Shady business practices - unbelievably shady business practices... ...

I am so happy I stopped at I-Deal Cars in York, PA! The salesman Sefik was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was very professional and it really was a no pressure experience. I ended up purchasing a Toyota Rav-4 and I am very satisfied with the vehicle inside and out. It took me months find a Toyota Tundra with lower mileage and within my price point. This was the by far the best experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. Sefik answered all of my questions over the phone prior to arriving onsite and was a pleasure to work with throughout the test drive and after I left the dealership.
