My wife and I were met by a very nice gentleman whom we later learned was the store manager. He was very nice, did not pressure us, and was extremely knowledgeable about the furniture the store sells. He was a pleasure to work with as he assisted us in purchasing a recliner and a sectional living room setup. In the future I will definitely use Steve for any additional purchases. Great job Steve!!

I love my new chair. It is perfect! The only negative was the process of getting it. I was told my stock, not custom, chair would arrive around August 26, maybe sooner. August 26 passed with no word from the store. Several phone calls and a few weeks later, I have my chair. It is a masterpiece.

I worked with Barry (salesman) and Kay (design). I cannot say enough! They were patient and knowledgeable throughout the entire selection process. Kay spent about 2 hours mocking up my new living room and Barry even came to my home to ensure the placement would work. Definitely recommend!

We went in to browse and see if we could find something for my bad back after surgery. The salesperson, Lou, was great. She was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We spent about two hours there trying different chairs/recliners and couches. Lou didnt pressure us in any way and let us explore and try things out in our own time. If we had questions, she was readily available. We ended up buying some furniture, and the entire experience was excellent.

Our sales person was so helpful. She ask me to sit in 6 different chairs that she thought would fit me. She demonstrated both styles of motorized chairs. She made sure that she wrote down the right chair, fabric and color. She explained everything very well. She was very helpful and friendly. Very positive experience.

I went to the Lazy Boy showroom in York, PA. The store was beautifully laid out. I was lucky to have Mary Madden help me select just the perfect couch. Mary listened to what I was looking for and showed me all she had that fit my criteria. She was so knowledgeable and pleasant. I never felt pressured or forced to look at something I would not be interested in. She had many great suggestions as to different features she thought I might like. It was so easy to find the right couch for me. What a wonderful experience! I could not be happier. Thanks Mary!!!

We worked with Barry at the York, PA, store. My husband and I had been doing household chores all day, and arrived in our sweats. Barry, seeing our manner of dress, directed us to the lower priced end of the products we expressed interest in. When we explained that we were looking for something with some pricier features, he was very responsive to our request, and guided us through the process of selecting a piece that met our needs- without hovering over us. After choosing a piece, we left to check out another store, but quickly returned when we realized the quality and price of La-Z-Boy couldn’t be matched. We’re very happy with our purchase.

This store has the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. They do not return your calls. It took over 6 months for my furniture to arrive at the store and almost a month to get to the delivery scheduling phase. Still have not received my furniture . Will not buy here again, if I want lazyboy I will go to a different store if I buy lazyboy ever again.

Our sales rep was very knowledgeable and very nice, He made us feel right at home. He took his time with us and showed us everything we wanted to see. The selection of reclining chairs was very large and there was a good selection of different cloths and options for each chair. I would recommend your store to anyone if they are shopping for furniture. The only drawback to the whole experience was the length of time it will take for us to receive our chairs, 4-6 months!

Steve (York PA location) was very helpful and listened to my needs for a recliner. He continually checked the availability of the chair. If I am ever in the market for more furniture, I will definitely return!!

I went in looking for a recliner and Steve had me try a number of them until I found the one that fit me like a glove. He saw that I struggled to recline them and get up out of them so he suggested I go with an electric recliner and add a raised base to it. Well that made all the difference in the world. He was very kind and informative. I had just lost my husband in December and this was my first larger purchase on my own so when I broke down he was very sweet and very professional. I truly had a wonderful time picking out my new Electric Recliner!

Overall the experience was pretty good. Unfortunately, the chair I ordered was not in stock and needed to be ordered. The order took several more weeks to be fulfilled than originally stated. They were able to deliver my chair to my house and they have a pretty accurate shipment tracking application. The delivery ran a little later than initially stated, but they called and informed me in plenty of time to make schedule adjustments. They brought it in and set it up. My only disappointment was that the chair does not come with arm or headrest covers like my previous La-Z-Boy recliner did. I called sales and they told me I could order a set for an additional $90. I feel these should have been included. Other than that, I am greatly satisfied with my new chair.

Our experience was great, the furniture was fantastic quality. We actually visited two other furniture stores and came back to this store. Barry was wonderful, informative and very patient. We’re getting a beautiful couch at a very reasonable price with free delivery.

Terrible customer service.Before I purchased this, the knew how important the timing of it was to me. They confidently told me I would get it by a certain date. It is now 4 weeks past that date. Wishing I had never ordered it. Spent too much money to deal with bad customer service and to feel like Im getting the run- around from them. SUPER disappointed and unhappy.

We had a great shopping experience with La-Z-Boy York. They took a lot of time showing us our various options and never once did they come across as high pressure. Despite having to wait almost six months for our furniture to arrive, the delivery men were super nice and even moved our old furniture out to our garage for us. We are extremely happy with our new furniture and our shopping experience overall.

We had agreat all around experience with La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings of York. The manager/salesperson treated us great, answered all of questions and made the sale without pressuring us or hoving over us the entire time we were in the showroom. Furniture was delivered a month earlier then promised, even with customization. Delivery went smoothly and delivery persons were polite and efficient. We are pleased with our purchases and the entire process. Highly recommend for Furniture needs!

The staff at our local LazyBoy store are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We love the beauty and quality of LazyBoy furniture. Our only complaint is that it is taking an unusually long time to get specially ordered pieces right now.

When I went into Lazy Boy I had an idea of what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. I was met by Steve Pergament promptly, he showed me several options that I was unaware of. As I looked around the store he checked inventory and luckily there was one in stock that I was interested in.As a whole the experience was great . I’m getting what I want and will be delivered hopefully by the end of March. Not sure why anyone would buy furniture from another retailer. The service was great and the product is excellent! I give them a 10/10!

Steve was very honest and helpful. He was also very knowledgeable. For instance, he told Us the exact measurements of the sofa were looking at, without looking-he knew it right off the top of his head. We measured for ourselves and he was spot on. He was not pushy at all (which is a huge turn off for me-I’ll walk right out.) We have to wait a few weeks to receive our furniture so I cannot yet speak to the quality of it, but we went with this company because of its reputation for a quality product over others. Overall, I would give our shopping experience the full five stars.

My experience at your store was great! Went in at a price point but, need up costing a bit more because of what I found and was able to put 50% down and pay every two weeks till paid off and by that time the power rocker recliner will be paid off when delivered sometime in June.Thank youPaula

1 was encouraged to sit in many different chairs. I kept coming back to the same chair in different colors. I chose a rocker/recliner in a beautiful shade of blue. I am anxiously waiting for delivery.

My wife and I have two La-Z-Boy chairs. Her chair is a lift unit and the controller stopped working. We went to the store to see if the unit could be repaired or replaced. Unfortunately 14 year old chairs are beyond repair. We returned a few days later and purchased two new chairs. We selected the new chairs and were told exactly when we could expect delivery. The price was exceptional, and we were treated royally. I expect the new chairs to be as good if not better then the ones being replaced. All in all the experience was exceptional.

The personal service was outstanding! Plenty of fabric and furniture selections, which were displayed attractively and easily assessable. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was because the computerized checkout was onerous. Discounts were applied to some items but not others. The sales rep worked diligently to correct the mistakes but had to spend more time than she had. I did appreciate her effort. Additionally, I received a complimentary sturdy, stainless steel grill master set of tools. What a lovely surprise!

I had such a great experience here!! I was in search for a sectional and got so much help figuring out my configuration, fabric, color, etc. Lou and Kay were AMAZING! They helped design my sectional and were able to show my exactly what it would look like in my home using this fancy computer program. The sectional was pretty pricey after customizations/upgrades but after the experience I had I still walked out with a smile on my face. They were so welcoming, helpful, and it was obvious they really cared about their customers. 100% recommend shopping here for furniture!

We visited the La-Z Boy store in York, PA. The sales rep was very attentive. He showed us a variety of Recliners and offered advice as to the proper size and availability. We selected a recliner that suited our needs. The sales rep did not push us to buy a more expensive chair. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience.

Purchased our new furniture in January of this year for delivery in June. Now waiting until the end of August. Store said due to shortage of supply in Warehouse. Paid half of the cost, but get put on hold for restocking. Very disappointed. ☹️

Lazy boy designer at Loucks road was friendly creative, and more than helpful. She listened to our design ideas and made wise suggestions. She even helped us pick out a fabulous area rug with which we are thrilled. The sectional is also fabulous and will make our redesigned family room comfy & cozy.

I wanted to buy a double bed sized hide-a-bed. I started my search at La-Z-Boy as I was at the Sprint store next door. I didnt even know if they were open yet due to Cov19. I was so happy they were open!! The salesman Stephen greeted me right away. I asked do you sell hide-a-beds? He showed me the floor model. It was exactly the size and color I needed!! Plus discounted!!

So many recliners to try out and choose from as far as style, colors, etc. The wait for our chair is about 9 weeks or so, but that seems to be the average wait time right now.

Barry & Kay are very easy to work with and great help with fabric selection. Their use of remote meeting tools was perfect for social distancing. Delivery people were on time and efficient.

Placed order online only to be informed 10 days later my order was 90 days out. I was left scrambling by having no furniture in my new house. The disconnect between lay z boy online and brick and mortar stores is mind boggling. I eventually made my purchase at brick and mortar store guaranteeing a two day delivery. Of course I was then told the truck was full and it’s be an extra 3 days for delivery. Horrible experience with no compensation offered for the entire ordeal.

Barry was our salesman and was exceptional. He answered all of our questions and gave us time to decide what we wanted without being pushy. We had purchased a recliner from them in December 2016, he was able to look that up in the system to see if we could get the same fabric. Unfortunately it was discontinued but he found a sample of the fabric so we could match our new furniture with. We will always be return customers. The quality and warranty is unmatched.

We purchased a high end leather living room set from lazy boy in February 2020. Delivery was delayed due to COVID until April. 50% of the furniture that did arrive was defective. We contacted lazyboy and had to wait another month to have technician come and confirm the defects. Once that was done we were sent replacement parts 3 times. Each time the pieces to use to repair the chaise were defective! We also had been sent a piece for the recliner and IT was defective! At that point back in June we insisted on a new chaise as the replacement parts were not working. Was told it would arrive in October. Well, it arrived and the leather is defective!! When we called again, we asked that lazy boy just take all furniture back and give us a refund. Still waiting on the response after many calls, emails. Lazy boy used to have a reputation of quality furniture, however what I saw was not. They use pressed board and nails. No wonder it fell apart. I gave 1 star because they actually sent a decent arm replacement for the recliner and it’s working....so far. #neveragainlazyboy#
