I have never written a restaurant review in my life but today, that changes. Id really hate to create unrealistic expectations but if I classified Glacier Flakes as anything other than perfect, then Id be lying.Its a restaurant so youre here for the food, obviously. Best burger and fries in York, hands down. Five Guys would be the closest. The burger is cooked and assembled exactly how a burger should be, every single time. The fries transport me to the boardwalk with every bite.The service is phenomenal. Every employee Ive spoken to over the phone has been extremely pleasant and patient. If I hit them with a question that they didnt know the answer to, they wouldnt BS me to get me off the phone. They took their time to get my answer. Its little things like that that go a long way.Every friend, family member, and coworker that Ive recommended Glacier Flakes to have told me how amazing their food was before they even finished eating.As much as I would love to see this business boom, I would be a little bummed seeing the lines increase...BUT they deserve all of it. Thank you guys for being such a great eating establishment, I look forward to being a customer for many, many years!

I was the only one at Glacier Flakes, and waited 10 minutes to get 2 snowcones. I was already upset that it took that long to make them. After taking a few bites I had to pitch it. It tastes nothing like pineapple. My husbands was slightly better as he said he could taste a little bit of the vanilla. I am really disappointed and doubt I would be willing to try their snowcones again.

The food itself is delicious, but I really cant recommend the burritos. By the time I got it home (less than 5 minutes) it was cold and soggy, I could only get through 3/4 of it by the time it was inedible.

This place is awesome! The food is crazy good. You can tell they have fresh ingredients. Great portions. My fiance and I discovered this place and subsequently brought each of our family members to try it out (before the shutdown). We had the burgers,a fries and burritos. They have great shakes too!

I ordered a chicken bacon ranch burrito. Burrito was pretty expensive at $8. I thought if it was good it would be worth it. Burrito only had rice, beans, chicken, bacon and ranch. The tortilla tasted cheap. I was expecting better quality ingredients like other burrito shops. This would have been fine but two hours later my stomach started hurting.... this was my first visit. I dont think I will go back.

This place has really good food, large portions, a large variety of different menu items, the best fries and awesome milkshakes. Dont be put off by the atmosphere of the dining room (I think they are going to be updating it) but most people order pick-up and I think right now with Covid that is your only option. This is a little hidden gem that I definitely recommend that you try for yourself.

I love the quality ingredients & how it’s all made in house. The BEST burritos! You’d be hard pressed to find a better burrito elsewhere, same for their tacos. My kids loved the snowies & milkshakes! Very friendly family owned business.

Gentlemen of Dover, you are the kings of continuity, from grass cutting and weed whacking to setting up tents...you get it done every year. Its nice to see families making thus a yearly event. Pretty cool.

Great food. My wife and I crave their burgers and typically eat there at least once a week. Their subs and burritos are also delicious too. Oh yeah dont forget the fresh cut fries and cheese sauce.

Friendly place. Food is all hand made no process food. All food from local farms so fresh. Hamburgers r fresh ground beef. No pre made patties. Great place

I had a milk shake and a snowie delivered and they did this in a super timely manner, the delivery driver was super kind and friendly and his name was Trent, that kid deserves a raise

I have been a customer since day one, but recently used this place to cater a work lunch. I was beyond impressed with the presentation and amount of food provided for the price. It was all delicious and everyone loved it!

Stopped in after my sons baseball game to get him some ice cream. I ordered the Jalepeno burger, and was more than impressed. They were extremely friendly and even took our food order after their listed closing time. 5 stars for sure. We will be back in the near future.

The food was 5 stars. The best burger Ive had in a long time. My only complaint is that we planned to eat at the restaurant, but it was a little too cold inside, so we did takeout instead.

My wife and I have visited Glacier Flakes a few times now and each time we have absolutely loved the food and the service. They make you feel very welcomed and treat you with a kindness that you dont typically see. We just recently found out that they also deliver and we are so greatful for that. I really hope people give this place a try because it deserves it. Im going to go back to eatting my burger now just thought I would share my experience with this place.

Waited almost an hour for a burrito and a sub. FINALLY had it ready. I get it home and it is not my order, probably belonged to the other woman there. She had walked in 20 minutes prior and was waiting on an order she called in. The bag had cheeseburger subs and the majority of them either had pink or bright pink in the center of the patties.

I would like to start out saying that the women that waited on us at the counter was very very nice and the staff seemed very pleasant. Our visit was around 7:30 on a tuesday night and there was only 2 other parties in the store. While waiting and looking at the menu there was food being ran out to both of the tables tables and they were constantly applogizing for the wait. This was my first clue that we should have turned around but we have wanted to try this place for a while.There was only 3 people working; a women at the register, a man cooking, and a young boy working the ice cream/icy counter. We orded our food which included a cheesburger adding bacon and loaded fries with bacon, at this moment the women informed us that we would have to wait 20 mins for bacon. We then chaged the fries to taco fries so we wouldnt have to wait and we told her we didnt want to wait the 20 mins for bacon. I also orded tacos with taco meat and a milkshake. We paid and sat down. It took us around 30 mins to get our food (still no milkshake).When our food was ran out to us the women apoligized for the wait. She informed me that they waited for the bacon (that we told her to forget about) to out on the fries and burger. She then proceeds to to tell me that she forgot that they were out of the taco meat for my tacos. She told me that they can put other meat on them or make me a burger or something else. There was no point is asking for another meal becuase i would have had to wait ANOTHER 30 mins for my meal as my boyfriend was eating infront of me with me having no food. I did get my money back but we still had to ask for our milkshake and waited another 10 mins for the milkshake which was full of what tasted like freezer burnt ice cream.All in all the food that we did get was pretty good and that is the sole reason for my rating.We will NOT be back to this resurant. There are some major kinks that need to be worked out in the establishment. There were air ducts hanging down from missing and broken ceiling tiles, clutter against the walls including a ladder and a folding table. I understand that it is a farely new resturant but you need to know food service basics. As soon as you find that you can not make someones food you inform them. You do not wait until all the rest of the food is done before asking them if they want something else. Also give the customer what they asked for. We did not want the bacon becuase we did not want to wait so (again) instead of informing us right away about being unable to make the taco fries and asking us if we wanted to wait for bacon, you just assumed we would be okay with waiting. This is customer service basics. Make sure the customer is attended too. I understand that running a business is stressful but take care of your customers and your business will thrive.

We have been coming here a couple of years.

First time ordering i called around 230 and they said they didn’t have taco meat and it would be an hour. I placed the order and said we’d wait an hour. Called back at 339 and they told us it would be 45 more minutes they were just starting it. Not a good first impression we canceled our order.

Love to eat here all the time!! Go and try it out!!!
