Andrew was extremely knowledgeable helping me find the perfect size unit for my needs. Even when the system was giving him trouble he went through hoops to complete my rental agreement. I was highly impressed by his professionalism and genuine friendliness. My experience at Extra Space Storage was excellent. We arrived to the facility 7 minutes before closing time and Andrew took excellent care of us. He did not rush us (actually stayed over time) but he was quick, efficient and professional. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage in Dover. As of 8/2021, the building is approximately a year old, very clean and dry.

The storage space and costumer service where amazing, Supervisor Andrew and Assistant Supervisor Joe were attentive and respectful and helped with all my questions and concerns. My husband and I got storage from here and we 100% recommend this storage facility. First off the employees are so helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and super friendly. We originally got 1 storage unit from them but ended up getting a second one. Again even while being customers they treated us as if we were new and they were so quick and efficient 1 hr before closing. Not only are they so nice but their prices are reasonable. We recommended two family members to them and they both got storage as well. We will keep recommending them whenever we get the chance. Highly recommended!

This property is a hidden gem among storage facilities. It’s new and very clean, safe and user friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Jose, the manager when it became clear that this facility doesn’t actually do full contactless rental as advertised. Jose very thoughtfully listened to my needs and took the time to show me various size units to help me see in person what would work best with me. I very much dreaded having to go in person after I thought I could do the rental process completely contactless online. This dread was due to the District Manager Johnathan who called me every hour on the hour after I booked the reservation online and proceeded to follow up with emails stating I’m not responding. I was confused since it said I could do the rental contactless. I called him alarmed by the aggressive manner of his contact and he isn’t a person you can talk with. He is very aggressive and talks over you and never lets you talk or hear what you need. Beware of their practice of contact when you rent online because Johnathan very aggressively contacts you despite it stating contactless rental. The only other point I wanted to add is my unit was not throughly cleaned as I was led to believe by paying the $24 admin fee which is stated to cover cleaning and preparing the unit. I found a water bottle of what appears to be human urine in the corner of my unit as I was moving items in. I still agree with its a hidden gem among storage facilities it just has a few management concerns for me that I felt I should prepare other renters about.

Jose here helped me a lot in a very quick time. Was very professional and productive in not just getting my unit but applying my discounts. Place is extremely clean and feels secure. My only grievance for this place is that its very easier for you to get lost as each locker is clean and the numbering seems to have its own pattern, one Ive yet to figure out.

So helpful and so friendly and willing to give me all the details i need to know even as little details of how the lock works and showing me the easiest ways to get around they need a raise

I feel so lucky that I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this brand new, sparkling clean facility with two of the best employees Ive ever encountered, John & Jose. They each made sure I was taken care of with first rate service every step of the way, with John even providing first aid when I gouged myself with one of my window blinds. Oy.Ive never had to store my things before and they really made me feel comfortable and welcome. Im so grateful for them making my transition so easy while I sought out a new home.

Super clean, safe and brand new facility. All units are indoors and there is even a covered entrance that you can park you vehicle in so you are protected from any inclement weather. The guys that work there are super nice!

Excellent, brand new facility which is conveniently located off Mt Pleasant Avenue behind the Rockaway Mall.I met Jose in their Randolph location and learned he was going to be running the new Dover location. He is a young, very energetic, and a very personable employee and he even called me to let me know when the new facility was to open. I rented the first larger cube available. The process was quick, all questions were answered, and I even received the first month crews as free of charge. Prices are fair.Since then I also met Julie and John, both as pleasant as Jose.If you are local and looking for a nice facility to park your belongings give this place a try. And don’t forget to say hi to Jose!

I had a great experience the day I rented my storage unit, they had exactly what I needed and for a reasonable price, the location is very strategic in Dover NJ. I feel calm knowing that my belongings are safe, also for the customer service I feel very grateful with the treatment of José Castillo, since he explained everything very well and gave me a tour of the units to know that it was the best option for me. Jose is super friendly and helpful; the facility is clean, convenient and affordable! I have a second floor unit, and do not mind whatsoever - the elevator is large, and what I love most is there is a designated area for carts when you are loading/unloading.
