This was a nonstandard long distance move of specialized equipment that required many logistics involving two different organizations along with Two Men and a Truck. Everything was flawless. Compounding the complexity of the move was that the destination location was in a dense urban area.From the very beginning the contact with the company was excellent and a representative met me at the source location to go over the space and the items to be moved. A credit to Ciarra and the gentlemen (sorry forgot his name) who met me in the space to go over the move items. Then I express mailed keys so that the movers would have access to the source location. A credit to Tish for coordinating this.Lastly, but certainly not least, the two gentlemen who drove the truck and did the move-in were fantastic. The were very professional, very efficient, maintained excellent communication, and were just good guys. Through no fault of theirs, a nearby middle school had a fire bell which caused the street along the way to be unexpectedly blocked. They immediately called to inform me of the situation and its impact on arrival. I cant remember the names of the two gentlemen that did the move, but I thank them for such an excellent job!I would gladly do business with them again.

Service was prolonged on purpose to get more money out of me. I was charged DOUBLE than what I was charged before and the same items were being moved & I am also missing some items. Boxes was in the wrong areas. I labeled each box and they still were placed wrong. I actually like this company, but this time I wouldn’t recommend.

Tisha at Dover, DE location has helped us arrange and complete a difficult moving situation. Our new apartment had numerous construction delays starting with our move from Frederick, MD to Dover, DE. I was very stressed and Tisha figured a way to have a crew of 4 drive from DE to MD the end of May. All moves out of our mid rise apartment in Frederick had very specific times and elevator and loading dock reservations. We had several changes of date leaving MD but Two Men and Truck found a way to accommodate our needs. Moved us out of MD elevator building with total professional, timely and courteous care. Josh and crew brought more boxes for us and listed everything in detail, loaded and transferred to DE. Our belongings were then stored at their facility until our place was ready today after having to change dates due to delayed apartment construction. Saturday is always a busy moving date, especially at end of month. Our crew who brought our belongings from storage and moved us in with such wonderful care and help. Crew assisted with arranging, assembling and unpacking as well as took some of large boxes to help us. Marcus, I believe was crew leader (crew of 3). We highly recommend this company and their service; starting with office staff and very accurate quotes with no hidden fees. Tisha has a wonderful way with those of us who have complicated moves and excelled at customer service.

I had Two Men and a Truck scheduled to move my items on 12th of October. The team of 4 men, Cedrik, Dieuby, Nick, and Wleh, arrived as scheduled. Immediately the team went into action. They analyzed the home where items were being moved from and developed their plan. They wasted no time. They worked well together and had excessive energy. The team also communicated with me well on all steps. A few hours later, we made our way to the new home where they continued their hard work. The truck was unloaded expertly and timely at the new location and placed where I wanted. They saved my back. :)

Loved eating g outside other patio with my sweetheart. Our salmon was made to perfection. The mushroom fritter appetizer amazing as well. We plan on stopping there next time we visit Lewis.

The guys were great. They had a good working relationship and it showed as the talked among themselves. They were respectful and friendly to us. The move was quick and efficient. Have used them twice and would do so again.

The movers did a great job, were very careful with our items. They were also super fast and polite. There was a miscommunication with the office staff about the start time but they were never rude about it and even apologized.

This was our first experience with professional movers, so we werent sure what to expect. Our crew was professional, friendly, and accommodating. What couldve been a very stressful day ended up being (almost) fun!

We hired this company to move office furniture from one office location to another. They were very professional and courteous and did everything we asked of them no questions asked. The group that came (4 guys) put furniture together, moved, swapped rooms all without any question, they just did it which helped us out tremendously. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a good local moving service.

My initial interaction was fine, I went online I got a reasonable quote. Then I received a follow-up phone call confirming the details and the quote- which went up by 250 to $300. I was told it was just an estimate and to not be concerned because I could control how quickly the movers would work!... this I found to be very untrue and was charged for 5 hours and they did not begin at the 8:30 mark which they said they did in fact when I began to walk through the home to point out what needed to be moved they indicated that I should slow down and that they would dictate the clock and I had nothing to worry about. When in fact there was much I could not control like the sidebar conversation they had with my neighbors and the fact that they also shrink wrapped four pieces of furniture that I had asked to be discarded so that they could keep it for themselves. This in and of itself I have no issue with, it is the fact that they decided to do this with the time that I paid for!! There should be something in their business process that allows for them to stop the clock or perhaps take it to the dumpster and then do what they must when I mentioned this to them they gave me some BS excuse about well we took time to go to the dumpster which was less than two blocks away in the same development then they indicated it took them time to put together two twin beds which by the way they had done backwards and had to go and redo one of them. Either way they came off as very nice and cordial people but at the end of the day Im not pleased with the price that I was charged for the antics which occurred.Update!! I was contacted within days of my experience and not only did they recognize my concerns, they made me whole in terms of a partial refund! This is truly a positive customer service experience at best.Thank you Two Men and a Truck for striving to be the best moving company around. This allows me to highly recommend them in the future to friends and family.

They were all Wonderful, The moving day went very smoothly and they helped pack what I didnt currently have already packed up. They absolutely made the move a lot easier and less stressful with keeping laughter and pleasant conversations. If I were to ever move again I wouls use Two Men and A Truck again and will definitely suggest to others to use them as well.

Needs a more straightforward and streamlined approach. I am not will to send a video of my home for their scrutiny to receive an estimate. I am only interested in paying x number of people an hourly rate until the job is finished. Not all franchises are like this one. Maybe it wasnt my lucky day. Or maybe it was?

The movers arrived right on time. They were professional, courteous, and just very nice. They moved everything with care and notified us of any damage to furniture prior to moving it. It was a great experience with both the office and the movers, and I would certainly use them again.

They were easy to work with from the start. They treated our stuff gently. They came when they said they’d come. They delivered when they said they’d deliver. They charged what the said they’d charge. What more can you ask? I’d call them again in a minute!

I have seen businesses start out strong and fizzle out, but this business is still awesome! They call to confirm, they take care not to tear up your home and furniture with drop cloths and padding, they are reasonably priced and a joy to work with (moving is not really fun, so it helped to have a cool hardworking crew with a sense of humor). We had Marcus, Nick and Dominic...super awesome team. They communicate so effectively and they were on time! The owners are awesome and it shows!

I needed to move some furniture from the interior of my home to a back porch and a garage. This was so I could get my hardwood floors finished. I called two men andtand a because some items in my house are extremely heavy. The person I spoke to at the office knew exactly how they could help. I told them I needed them quickly because the floor people were going to be here on a Wednesday and this was already Saturday morning. She scheduled it for Tuesday morning and I was so happy that they had an opening. I couldnt believe the care and quality of the work of the two gentleman who came to my house. I anticipated just two people carrying items to the garage and back porch but they stacked it like a crosswords puzzle so that it fit exactly and took up much less room than I thought it would. I didnt even have to use any space on the back porch. T left me a path all the way through the garage that was wide enough to accommodate two people shoulder to shoulder. They wrapped everything in plastic to keep anything from getting into it or any abrasion happening. I have to say that everything about my transaction with two men and a truck was perfect and much better than I anticipated. I cannot recommend them enough.

Very happy with the movers!My disappointment was with the person calculating the hours and rate. I was told it would take two hours to complete my move therefore, I had to pay for two hours of service. No problem if it takes two hours I’ll pay for two hours. I assumed she knew what she was talking about, after all, this is what they do everyday! It took 45 minutes! But I still have to pay for two hours because the girl in the office miscalculated. That’s a really big error. When you make a mistake that big and make me pay for it, well your review is going to be affected!Probably will not be using them again, can’t afford those kind of mistakes!!

This is my third time using Two Men and a Truck. Their service has always been excellent and seamless. However, with my past move in Dec, there was a problem with me possibly going over my estimate. The mistake was on the companys end and I am very pleased and impressed with how they rectified the situation. The Move Manager, Eric Hudson, sent another crew to help the movers expedite the move. And, he also helped with the move. I would definitely use Two Men and a Truck again and I would refer them to my friends and family as excellent movers.

Amazing and friendly. I had 3 guys (Herschelllee, Evenson, and I didnt get the last guys name sadly) move my stuff from storage to my new apartment on the 3rd floor. The couch was a tight fit, but they made it work! Was very impressed with them because, honestly, I didnt think the couch was going to make it. Also, it was a lot cheaper in the end too because they were so quick and proficient!! Overall: Id definitely move with them again.

Our door-to-door local move went as smoothly as could be! The 4-person crew arrived on time, explained what theyd be doing, and got right to it! I hope these guys are very good movers but their prices are outrageous$6,000 to move from one state to another! Not packing anything and theres minimal furniture being moved some stools a dresser and a television along with about 60 boxes the size of a chicken box and they want to charge $6,000.

You might as well move your own stuff for the money and trouble that you will save.I hired two men and a truck to move my things out of the basement of my boyfriends parents house. Everything was already boxed. They had to get my mattress from the second floor, couch from the garage and a few odds and end furniture from the basement as well. The men were pretty timely in packing up the truck. They were getting ready to leave when I had to tell them about something else left in the house. The move was only about 6 miles. They unpacked and charged me almost 500 dollars and left. I truly felt like it was A LOT of money just for the half load of a truck that I had, but was happy at this point I didnt have to do it all myself.When I started putting my stuff away I realized my coffee table had a large scratch down on side. My coffee table isnt in pristine condition, but I also just paid someone 500 dollars to move my stuff. Start looking around a little more and one leg of my reptile tank cabinet is smashed in. Ive moved this same stuff quite a few times since Ive had it and I never put a scratch down the coffee table to busted the whole leg on my reptiles tank.As all companies do they sent me a review which I notated that I thought it was a little ridiculous to pay 500 dollars for something that I could have saved money and done better myself. So the operations manager Dave calls and acts like hes going to do whatever he can and to send him pictures of the damage. Says we can replace the stuff. I thought this was really great.Quite a bit of time goes by after I email him the damage photos. No call. No email. So I send another email and he says he is still assessing the damages. Calls me today and says they can send it through their insurance which will take 90 days or he can cut me a check for 25$. Are you serious? What an INSULT. I paid over 200 dollars for the reptile tank cabinet that no has a wobble, because the foot is smashed. The coffee table was over 200 dollars and you want to give me 25 dollars? This company is in it for money, obviously.Save yourself. Dont bother using Two Men and a Truck. They are insulting and obviously only in it for gross profit not satisfied customers in the long term. Dont waste your money or time.

Dont use these movers! On May 10, 2014 our belongings were moved from a nearby storage facility to our brand new custom home. The company website claims that the movers are well trained and careful, but we found this to be untrue. Though the gentlemen assured us moving our sofa bed to an upstairs room would pose no difficulty, they damaged every wall, corner and trim they passed on the way up and again on the way down. The legs on the furniture were also damaged. After much difficulty reaching the owner of the company, she claimed to be very sorry and arranged to send an individual to assess the damage. She called the morning of the appointment to cancel the assessment and directed us to go ahead and repair the damage and she would reimburse us the amount. We sent several pictures of the damage. After the work was complete, we sent the bill to the owner and she responded that the amount of $650 was unreasonable. The 5 walls and 4 corners and trim required attention for deep holes, not just scratches and the walls needed to be entirely repainted in our brand new home! She was the one who canceled the appointment and directed us to move forward. She never mentioned anything about a cost limit at any time. The company sent us only half the amount owed.Additionally, the movers complained about the length of time it was taking them to do the work, stating that they had expected to be able to attend a party in the early afternoon. They also refused to set up the bunk bed claiming inexperience. They suggested that rather then pay them $185 per hour to set it up, we should do it ourselves.Spare yourselves.

We are a military family, and had to suddenly move due to our house having mold from multiple leaks in the walls. We had already been living in a hotel for 5 weeks when we found out the damage was more extensive than we thought. We have two special needs children and at that point it was no longer safe for them to be living there, so the base offered us a new home, and contracted Two Men and a Truck to move our belongings.While the moving team was polite and hard working on the first day, the second day it all went downhill. The worst of it was that some of our items were damaged by them. Fiestaware collectors dishes were broken. Dining room furniture scratched. Worst of all, my 1 year old shark vacuum cleaner and our 1 year old bissel carpet cleaner were both damaged when our sand box was tipped over on it inside the moving truck. They were both covered in sand, all inside the motor and buttons. The claims rep, Dave, insisted that we give them an opportunity to repair them with a certified vacuum repair company. We weren’t happy about that but we agreed. Instead, Dave attempted to repair them on his own, by taking them apart with a screw driver. He returned them both still broken. We called to discuss this with him and he refused to replace it and said it was our fault. We now have an expensive vacuum cleaner that doesn’t work, and the warranty is voided on it since he opened it up himself, so we can’t even attempt to have it repaired by Shark. The carpet cleaner is unusable as well. The company refuses to take responsibility for it and will not replace any of the damaged items. I have called Jeremy, the president of Dover location, and haven’t received a call back as of now, even after multiple attempts to get ahold of him.Our move was one block away, so imagine what would have happened if it was a greater distance. It was already a very expensive and extremely stressful situation for our family. Now we are out even more money with damaged furniture and dishes plus a damaged vacuum cleaner and carpet cleaner. I’m just shocked at how badly our family has been treated by the employees of this company. It’s shameful. We bought the movers donuts, pizza, drinks and snacks to show them how much we appreciated their hard work on our move, but they were still very reckless and lied about damaging our property. We attempted to handle this locally, then via corporate, and neither of them would do anything about it. What a shameful way to treat a family already going through a stressful time, especially for a company who claims to care about its customers.

I don’t know where to begin with this review. This has been the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Moving and packing up your life is stressful enough, especially with children.First the movers showed up, we did our walkthrough and everything and it took about 20 minutes. We started moving things at 11am. One of the movers was constantly on his phone, which was addressed by the person overseeing everything. The pace was SLOW. After 4 hours we hadn’t even began our journey to the next house. The company lacks empathy for their employees too. At one point they called to ask for help since there was lackadaisical effort from one of the movers. No one came to help. You have frustrated employees, which obviously affects their performance. There is no reason why this move took all day. We were bringing stuff out for them to put on the truck just to speed up the process and start unloading at the next destination.After everything I wanted to just move on from it and then I did my first load of laundry only to my front loader dumping water all over my new house. It looked like the great flood. So not only did they milk the time, but they also busted the drum in my front loader. I do not recommend using this company.
