DE Storage is a very friendly and professionally run business. They were able to accommodate my long term rental and I am relieved that my belongings will be under their watch while I am away from the area. The climate controlled units are a blessing.

We have used DEStorage for ten or more years, having stored furniture, decorations and many other items there. We have been very pleased with the facility and service, ease of access and security. You wont have to look any further for a place for your belongings.

RuthGaston, I was shown around the facility last month by a friendly staff member. This staff member took her time to explain and show me all the air conditioning, new units to rent and she made my way through and visit a very calm and understanding visit. I was told to come back today June 30th to open a storage unit for July rental. So today, after therapy I will be visiting her. Im glad I made the right decision to store my belongings with this company.

I just reserved a storage unit from the location Manager, Nancy. OMG!!! I have not experienced customer service like that in a long while. She was pleasant, knowledgable, and patient. I have a storage reserved thats twice as economical as DE Storage but didnt give me the comfort that Nancy gave us. So guess whos getting my business!!!

I walked into the storage facility and requested a specific size. I was shown the unit but decided that I needed a larger one. The employee showed me the unit. Was extremely professional and friendly. Gave me the paperwork to complete and I was in and out in roughly 35 minutes. The process was easy and quick. I appreciate the cleaning of the units and the areas around it. They do a great job.

After the storm I was unable to get into my storage I went to the office and a staff went with me to the key pad to checked to see if I might had enter the wrong code even went as far as to give me a shorter code to use.Told me he would work on the issue, he had to get someone to look at the system.When it was fixed he called to inform me it was working.I been with DEStorage for over a year I am very satisfied.

DE storage is as good as the reviews. I reserved a storage unit online and when I got there it only took Dylan about 5 minutes to go over everything and get me on my way. Convenient location and easy to get to the units. Highly recommend using them.

DE Storage exceeded my expectations completely. I chose a climate control area. It is clean and easily accessible from road level. The winter rates were terrific. Kris thankfully directed me to a larger unit than I was originally planning to get, and the extra space was much needed. My move was interrupted by a snow storm, and they were amazingly flexible allowing me to keep the truck (which you can also rent from them) for a couple of extra days. Everyone was very friendly, and the move was painless. In addition to all of this, I was joined by a couple of bald eagles circling overhead that provided entertainment during the move - very cool. I highly recommend DE Storage.

I had an excellent experience with DE Storage! I was lugging a trailer from PA and therefore underestimated the time it would take me to get there so I ended up getting there right at closing time. Krissy, their representative, had called me during the day to let me know that she would be meeting me when I got there and was kind enough to stay and show me my reserved storage unit even though we were there a couple minutes late. She even gave us a couple of water bottles for my family! Overall, a great customer service experience!

Had two units now down to one, but reasonable prices and very clean and easy access. Used both units for a move and emptied out one, kept the second. The first one was easy to get and easy to finish the rental term. Staff are very friendly and easy to work with on anything.

Called on a Monday to reserve a temp controlled large unit. Told the individual I couldnt come in Monday but would find a way to get in Tuesday as I read on their website that they only held reservations for 1 day. The individual on the phone said they could hold it longer so I said I could come pay Wed afternoon. This person said they would put the reservation through until Saturday. I confirmed that I could pay Wed and the unit would be held and I was told yes. When I went in to pay today (Wed) I was told the unit had been given to someone Tuesday and that they tried to call me. I had no call or message. I informed them that I was told it was held until Saturday and even had an email with that as the date for move in. Again, I was informed other people wanted the unit so it was given to them the day before and that they tried to call me. I was also told that is not how their reservations work and that they are only held for a day. When I brought up the fact I was assured it would be held on the phone after questioning the 1 day hold and that I could come today and pay and had that in an email, there was no explanation except that other people came and got the unit yesterday.This is a horrible business practice to mislead potential clients. I would have found a way to get there yesterday during my lunch and pay to get the unit if I had not been misled to think I could wait until Wednesday. I had to wait until today because I am a teacher and had meetings mon/tues after school, all of which was explained on the phone Monday.After leaving, I recieved an email that there was a unit available in Clayton which is over 30 minutes from where we are moving my mother out of and completely inconvenient compared to the 5 minute drive to the dover location. I do find it interesting that my email was used today but not yesterday to notify me of them giving away the reserved unit. There should have never been an extended reservation made for me if thats not possible but again, I was assured it was and have an email showing this. I will never do business here as this encounter demonstrates a lack of professionalism and trustworthiness of this company.

This storage center does not keep track of how many keys they give out to there customers. I have had a unit with them for about 4 months and we got a call asking if we turned in our key or if we had lost them because our stuff was still in the unit. Well we only got one key when we got the unit and we still had our key. So the previous owner turned on there old key. The key matches ours. Someone had access to our unit the entire time we have had it. And they keep the gate open during the day. Im glad all of our stuff is still there, but I will be finding another location to store my belongings. If you value your things you may want to go with a more secure storage facility. The only compensation offered was to replace the lock. I have both keys now so what good would that be.

Very nice facilities and new buildings (for climate controlled units). Lady at front desk was more than helpful and even the maintenance guys on the property helped me unload my trailer to cut down on the trips in/out of the trailer. Would HIGHLY recommend to anybody looking for centrally located self-storage units. Plus, if you’re military, they give you a 15% discount for the first 3 months.
